Pacific Ocean

It was indeed an impressive sight to behold. Massive ships cutting through the sea like so many whales, armed aircraft flying patrols like birds of prey. It was a full fleet of the Prussian military, steaming towards the island of Australia which it would soon claim for the fatherland's own. They weren't alone of course, TPF had assembled a large collation of young but eager nations ready to give their children's lives for a piece of foreign land. It wouldn't be easy, the island was well-guarded by well-trained and experienced soldiers of various other nations. Hopefully, with the Prussians leading the assualt, they would be able to successfully seize the island.

General Bradley would be leading the assualt on the island, which would consist of one Marine division leading the initial assualt followed by several army divisions that would deposit heavier equipment and follow up with further offensives. However, there was still several obstacles to overcome. Firstly, the enemy had at least one fleet that the group had so far detected, and it wasn't unlikely that there was more in the general area. In addition, there were several possible landing sights for consideration. Bradley wanted to consult with his allies on the attack location and the enemy fleets before hammering out his offensive in more detail. Thus, along with Admiral Hansley he invited his allies aboard the carrier Nova Europa to discuss such matters.

It had taken a week to assemble the massive force of Greal ships. Hundreds of supply ships accompanied the fleet also. All the Greal admirals were planning the assault on the island, but it would be costly. There were several good landing sites, but the Greal Marine commanders preferred to land near the cities. The naval fleet had several marine divisions, and also a few army divisions ready for the assault. Thousands of eager troops waited for the assault.

On board the flagship, Victory

Fleet Admiral John Sharpe inspected his crew on board his flag ship, Victory. The Victory was a Lord Class Battleship, and he spent all his life directing battles from the Victory. An aide approached him and said that there was a message from the Prussians.

"What do the Prussians want?" asked Sharpe

"They want to meet with all the allied commanders to plan and coordinate the assault." said the aide, nervously.

"Thank you, prepare a helicopter, and get General Golvan here." said the admiral

---------------

A while later his helicopter lifted off and headed for the Prussian carrier they were directed to go. As Admiral Sharpe was in the air, he could see his whole fleet.

Field Commissar Vasiliy Ivanovich Koslov tossed a potato into a bag. He sat alongside fellow Field Commissar Imran Adrianovich Zakhaev, who was taking a bite out of an apple.

"Why are we fighting alongside those bloody capitalists?"

"Well, we want a slice of the Australian pi, so we have to work with them to secure a piece."

"Pie, comrade."

"Right. I'll go talk to the Prussian general about what we are to do here."

"Fine by me. You can go take the Mil Mi-8."

"Right."

Imran stepped out of the room, apple in hand, and walked over to the Mil Mi-8.

"Take me to the Prussian command ship."

He took a bite. The pilot started up the engine.

"Yes, sir."

The helicopter took off.

0800 hours, 20 miles from the western Australian coast

Like a shining spearhead, the Volzgradien 17th fleet cut through the pristine sea toward Australia. In total the fleet consisted of 3 Moscow class aircraft carriers, 10 Ostok class heavy battleships, 20 Lenin class cruisers, and 35 Vilk class destroyers. Their mission was simple, lay waste to the western defense forces and establish a beachhead for the other Coalition nations. Countless MIG-77s soared over head, ready to deliver brilliant, airborne death to anyone who tried to stop them. Many of the ships in the fleet had already begun to fire their guns, and the sea was illuminated by the bright flashes of Volzgradien ordnance. Only a few miles away, the Stoklomolvi fleet was also delivering death upon the weak and cowardly defenders.

On the command bridge of the Volzgradien Flagship Silver Falcon

"Excellent, we're actually early for once" grinned Admiral Stavin. "With both us and the Stoklomolvi fleet firing, those shore defenses will be dust when we land" added his adjutant and adviser, Captain Johann Karkovic. Through his binoculars, Stavin could see the shimmering, white flashes of high explosive shells as they detonated on shore. Every shot of the Silver Falcon's 18 inch guns shook the ship to the core and illuminated the deck with an eerie white light. "Beautiful, huh sir" said Karkovic as he followed the Admiral's gaze. "Yes indeed, the very might of Volzgrad rains death upon those who we fight."

A buzz on the comm-system snapped him from his admiring gaze. "This is Commander Vladimir Braunburg of the destroyer Vladiostok to Admiral Stavin, please respond" buzzed the radio as he picked it up. "This is Admiral Stavin, what is it Vladimir?" " The 14th recon unit has just reported that our foe is bringing out heavy artillery and planes" responded the Commander bluntly. "Damn, I want all fighter wings scrambled and ready to intercept those enemy birds, All ships are to change firing coordinates to the locations of that artillery" shouted Stavin as he changed the channel to "all units". As the various squadron leaders and ship captains called in with confirmations, the Admiral turned toward his adjutant. "Karkovic, As of now on, you are in command of the fighter squadrons, I will lead our ships into the fray myself" Stavin said calmly as he saluted.

Now, the stage was set for one of the greatest and most awe inspiring battles of the century.

OOC:Volzgrad

A) The battle hasn'teven been planned out yet and B) Don't godmode...>_<
But hey! That why were are here to learn!

Pacific Ocean

The fighter4u navy:three aircraft carriers, one dreadnought, two helicopter carriers, eighteen battleships, fifteen AEGIS class ships, twenty two destroyers, thirty one curisers,thirty-eight frigates, eighty corvettes, sixthy missile ships, thirty landing crafts, fourty one minesweepers, three hundred and fifty support ships and trailed by twenty one nulear subs.

It was a proud and mightly one,if not a bit scarred from a previous battle, where their honour and most importantly(their motherland) glory ruined by a crushing defeat. But now fighter4u had a chance to regain it honour and pride by showing the world and it new temporany allys that it could indeed fight, and indeed win. That they were a force to be reckoned with. Which is why they had sented such a massive fleet. In a effort to display a massive amount of power to it new "allys".

The fleet also has nearly six hundred aircraft and two hundred and fithy helicopters. (OOC:All ships are of RL modern age)

Admiral Collins and General Baker stood on the bridge of the P.R.S.S.F. Sunlight as they view their massive fleet.

Collins spoke."It seens pretty big,but most of our fleet has never been in a major battle before, and we be going up agaisnt crews that know their ships well."

Baker agreed."My troops are just as untrained as your sailors. Sure some have fought rebel forces before. But most have never seen actual combat. The One Day War prove how untested and unfit our armys really are. Our paratroopers which will land inland behind enemy lines have never fought before. Never mind eltie troops. If our armor units and infanty forces don't make it to them in time to link up with them...and what good are all these ships if all we bring back are bodys? The coucil will have our heads. We MUST win this battle or so help us god."

Collins remain slient but inwardly agreed. The fight would be hard and bloody.

Just then aid told them that General Bradley and Admiral Hansley of the Prussian forces has invited them to the Nova Europa to discuss the battle plans. So a helicopter was called up and they flew toward the ship. Careful to avoid the many Su-37s,F-22 raptors and Harriers that were guarding the air, while waving at the various Seahawks and SeaRangers.

The commander of the Imbrinium task force was looking at the sat maps of the area with commanders of the ground forces. The Imbrinium navy only put 16 ships together for this so every square inch of all the ships in the task force was use for men and kit. The task force would depend on the other larger ships in the fleet for protection since all of the VSTOL aircraft where replaced by Helicopters and even most of them where transports. Rear Admiral Aleandro Capon was sipping his coffee as the ground commanders where going over there plans, it was there asses in the fire but it was his ass if something went wrong. The task force was a full speed to catch-up with the rest of the invading fleet. The admiral was wondering what the task forces role in the big picture of the war, they were short on ships and only had 2 brigades and a company of special forces, not a lot of ground forces for the type of mission they were in for. The ground commander of the marines and the ground task force General Dimitri Manfrin along with the army col. Cornelio Marcelo and maj. Adalrico Bruno of the SF company all knew the stakes were high. This was the first multi-national force and first real war that most of the task force has seen. But the commanders knew that there equipment was the best and the men where pumped up and ready to go. The task force commanders looked over at the admiral and said they where ready to meet with General Bradley and all four of them headed for the flight deck.

Darwin, Australia

The situation was so perfect, it would make Atal Amner shed a tear. It was survival of the fittest. It was the defense of Darwin.

Karl Dönitz sat pouring over the latest briefing his printer had just spewed out. Here on this god forsaken rock, he was about to make one last and heroic defense. Perhaps, just perhaps, if he played his cards right, he and his men would live to fight another day. But it came down to that: playing his cards correctly. Every briefing shot his way contained different information, but they all mentioned one thing. An enemy was deploying en masse, and in all senses of the phrase, the Kampferian Task Force Eternal Resolve was under manned, under gunned, and under supplied. It had been nearly two weeks since the last shipment of supplies had reached Darwin, and the morale was under considerable strain. As the Operational Commander of Task Force Eternal Resolve, Dönitz was doing everything he could to keep his men ready for action. It would actually help him more if the enemy hurried their attack a bit than if they continued to tarry.

With but a Carrier Strike Battle Group and a squadron or two of land based planes under his command, as well as some medium to light beach defenses, his men were up to their necks in a bad situation. Their equipment was in no way outclassed, and nor was their training. In fact, these were some of the best forces Kampfers had to offer, as the newer recruits mostly spent their time defending the homeland. The fight, nonetheless, would be especially tough, as the task force would be up against numbers of at least three times its own. Dönitz called his second in command into his office. While Dönitz was nearing 60, with graying hair and diminishing eyesight, his subordinate was just now pushing 28 and was an energetic son of a gun.

Adolf Knapp entered the room quickly after being paged, and took the liberty of seating himself while Dönitz's back was turned. Hearing the noise, Dönitz began to speak, without looking up from the tapioca colored parchment in front of him. "Permission to enter without my leave does not grant you the right to demean my authority. Continued belligerence will force me to write you up to High Command, do you understand me?"

Knapp stood on cue, and saluted. "Yes sir!" He knew from the tone of voice that Dönitz used that now was not a good time to argue back. The last thing he could use now was a demotion, when he was so close to his goal of commanding his own CSBG. It was Dönitz's tone that commanded his attention now, though. "You seem disgruntled, sir. What seems to be the problem?"

Dönitz spun around in his letter chair, still clutching the manila folder that held the letter and a few other assorted objects. Seeing Knapp standing, he ushered him to sit, and Knapp complied. "Sorry, my boy, but as you noticed I am a bit on edge." Withdrawing the letter and what appeared to be blurry pictures from the folder, he slowly laid each one out individually upon the mahogany desk before Knapp. "These items are what have me on edge. These two low-res photos are extremely nerve-racking," he stated, indicating two of the four pictures. "As you can see by their battle formation, they are undeniably Prussian ships. In this second photo, you can almost make out the TPF war ensign."

Knapp, leaned foward, and sure enough, the ships were unmistakably from The PeoplesFreedom. "But sir," he interjected, "why would The PeoplesFreedom attack us? We have had solid relations for ages, and have been allies on multiple occasions." He moved on to the other two photos, and realized they were of a different nation, perhaps two different. "And who are these people?" He questioned, pointing to the images. "Furthermore, why would they be aiding The PeoplesFreedom? And why are these images such pieces of shit?" He put extra emphasis on the final word of his sentence. Normally, the images he was fed were almost crystal clear, with interference playing a role of little to none. This time, however, it was hard to make out anything in the pictures besides general basics with regards to the ships.

Dönitz leaned back, and smoothed out his gray uniform. "Good questions, all of them. My hunch is that The PeoplesFreedom will not attack us, but rather opt for any of the other outposts on this island. At the moment, we frankly have no clue about who the other nations involved are, or why they would be involved. Land, money, glory, only they know their motivation. I relayed the images sent to me on to the Kampferian Intelligence Bureau to see if they could identify them for me, but I highly doubt we will get a response by the time all hell has already broken loose. As for the image quality, well that's what we get for being out here in such a remote location, isolated from Haven. Not many satellites pass over this area, and the ones that do are really just relics. We're lucky we caught these fleets when we did." He paused for a minute, and then pointed towards the letter. "This, however, is the worst news of all. It's from High Command. Essentially, we're on our own. Gave us the whole run around about us being 'too far away' and the area being 'too strategically unimportant' for them to be willing to reinforce us. They did promise to try and resupply us at least once more before a fight breaks out, but you know as well as I about their supply failures as of late. I'm trying to convince them to paradrop it in, but they aren't so sure."

Knapp shuddered at the thought of fighting without having a properly supplied task force, much less one that was strong enough for what was required of it. "Seems like High Command is going to leave us stranded them. Pardon my French, but I wish they would just tell us we were fucked than to toy with us like that. Do they really expect us to believe their reasons? Anyhow, what do you propose that we do?" Knapp's posture changed from one of relaxation to one of intense thinking and listening. If Dönitz asked for his opinion, he wanted to be ready.

Dönitz, however, already had a plan in mind. "I want round the clock shifts on the mainland EW stations. If so much as a civilian plane is detected, I want planes sortied to intercept it. We will deploy some CAPTORs in and around the outpost; when they bring their ships in range to shell the shore, they will meet a nasty surprise. Finally, I will send the CSBG to sea. In her arms, they will be shielded, at least for a little while. I will go with them, as per the norm. You shall stay here and command the outpost in my absence. If all becomes lost, crater the runways and torch the place. Leave nothing that the enemy forces could use to potentially strike at any other outposts on this rock. This is a big chance for you. If I do not return, but you fare well here, you could very well become the next great Admiral of Kampfers." Dönitz smiled, and shook his head. "Fare the well. I go to prepare for my departure."

Knapp stood promptly and saluted. "The eyes of the Fatherland are upon us. Let us not fail them." Dönitz nodded, and the two exited the room together, trudging along, completely aware of their inevitable date with destiny.

IC:

300km South of Darwin, Australia

Puabi Ashusikildigir, Shar (Colonel) of the 52nd RG Armoured Regiment, sat on the glacias of her tank watching her company commanders just infront of her hash out a plan in the dry Australian outback dirt. She was only in her early thirties, still young for a career officer, and she watched with intent as her company commanders, some older then her, hashed out the plans with sticks and lines in the dirt. Very old fashioned, but just the way they liked it. The heat bore down on all of them, but they were used to it. This outback, as they called it, was like home, only cooler and less open, it would be the perfect foreign territory for them to work in. Then she heard something fromk one of her officers, and piped back in.

"We're staying clear of the coast." Puabi piped in, watching the faces of her officers as the turned to look at her. "We want to avoid their naval gunfire, intel sent down they're hitting hard. We're not prepared for a shorline fight, they should have sent a Naval regiment or something." Her last words set with a little bit of a giggle. Everyone knew the Republican Guard was the best, Naval armoured units were almost a running joke when they got inland. and that's where Puabi wanted to fight, inland. "Beautiful isn't it?" Puabi got up and stood on the glacias of her tank, looking around her at the area, "Almost like home. We should have no problem here." She smiled and jumped down from her vehicle, one hand holding the stock of her personal weapon, an old trench shotgun she had from her grandfather, so that it wouldn't come off her shoulder. "They're too big to keep them from getting a beachhead anywhere, we'll let the others slow them down there. But they'll get one anyway. We want to make taking this land as hard as possible on them. A finite number of troops can only last so long, and in this terrain we should have enough of an advantage to keep them on their toes." she motioned with her feet to several areas on the roughly drawn map of the continent, and then quickly brushed it out. "Get your guys set for backforce operations, when it hits we're going mobile and we're staying mobile. We have airdropped supply dumps all around this place, well hidden for our use, so we shouldn;t worry about supplies. Keep everyone hydrated regardless of how much cooler it is here then home, I want everyone in top shape. And above all, work out rotations. You know the drill people let's snap to." She finished her little lecture, motioning for her company commanders to get moving. She knew she was prepared as best she could be. Her regiment had been reenforced with more air defence and artillery prior to being deployed, something she believed she would desperately need without any of her own flyboys backing her up. But the day was still young, and ahead of her lay terrain more familliar to her then her enemy, and a loose coalition of invading forces. Perhaps if she got back alive they might give her a Brigade for this.

(OOC: I posted the ship and weapon specs somwhere but I can't find them.)

1400 hours, 10 miles from the Western Australian shore

The midday sun beat down hard on the approaching fleet of Volzgradien ships. Countless naval guns fired in unison in a great roar of fire and light. Upon the request of one of their allies, several cruisers and destroyers had to be pulled from the beach landing and sent to protect against enemy incursions from the air and sea. Despite this, the 17th fleet remained strong and continued to rain death upon the now broken shore defenses.

Despite several attempts by Volzgradien reconnaissance aircraft, they still did not know who the bloody hell they were fighting. The Volzgradien Naval Intelligence Unit had so far ruled out Kampfers and Dostanuot Loj. Many of the ships' marines were preparing to land while the battleships remained behind to provide much needed fire support. Fortunately, many of the shore defenders had retreated, including the dreaded heavy artillery.

Casualties had been light for the Volzgradiens. Only a few sailors had been killed by a rocket fired by an enemy strike fighter. The plan for the landing was simple, the cruisers' and destroyers' marines would launch a head on assault while planes and battleships cover them.

1400 hours, command bridge of the flagship Silver Falcon

"Damn it Vasili, we at least need to know who we're fighting" shouted Stavin impatiently at the shadowy figure at his side. "Sorry Admiral, we've tried everything but the only thing my men have found out is that Kampfers and Dostanout Loj are defending the island alongside our foe here" responded Vasili Sorkvic nervously. "Enough of this, you are to find out who the hell we're fighting and you are not to come back until you do" roared Stavin as he pointed to the door.

After yelling furiously at his inept intelligence officer, Stavin walked swiftly toward the comms-unit in the corner. "This is Admiral Stavin to all units, I want all marines ready suited up and ready to land, all battleships are to continue firing on remaining enemy strong points" he shouted into the comms-panel as he looked at the navigation screen next to him.

0300 Zulu aboard the HMS Pulcher SSN

This was the third Special Forces team they were dropping off making hydrographic reconnaissance of the shore line for the landings. Captain Antonio Barese had done this type missions hundreds of times in training but it was the first in combat. The SF guys from Charlie Company 2nd of the 20th the first 2 platoons where to make a helio insertion and setup for landings for the marines. 3rd platoon was to make hydro recon for the rest of the battle space to make the best places to bring in landing craft, and to clean mines. 4th platoon was on standby on the flagship if things went wrong. Captain Barese calls the sonar tech and asked anything around us? Sonar captain got friendly ships behind us and nothing between us and the shore sir. OX you have a green light for team lock out, yes sir. You guys ready? Team sergeant Narciso Iadanza said over the intercom hell yeah lets go. With that the team locked out of the sub and started there long swim to get close the shore.

Somewhere off the coast of Australia

CBG 17 by itself is a sight that could make most small countries cower in fear however CBG 17 did not sail alone arrayed in between the destroyer and frigate escorts of CBG 17 sat HMS Vampire the 7th , 9th Amphibious Landing Groups and 19th Support Group all of this firepower amassed in a single place could only mean one thing.............. invasion.

The air around the fleet was filled with murderous intent as Marines checked their weapons and munitions techs checked the hundreds of thousands of tons of bombs and missiles that were stacked in the ships armorys. And any sailor in the Royal Navy will tell you that there is no where more chaotic then the flight deck of a E class Heavy Fleet Carrier just before a big operation. On the flight deck of HMS Eschatologist captain John Gray decided that the word chaotic didn't quite cut it. He had spent the past 5 minutes trying to hear what the deck chief had been saying over the whine of Turbofans spooling up on a EW-307 Eagle Eye that sat on the port Heavy EM catapult. As he stepped back into the stern island his flight helmet was thrust in to his hands by the XO
“Sir the Prussians waiting for you and if you delay any longer Major Kydra will probably leave without you.”

Captain Gray sighed and took the helmet and moved to step out on to the flight deck again.
“alright alright tell her royal highness not to panic I'm going.”

The Captain stepped out and jogged to the stern where a MH-33 Sea Lion sat with its tilt-rotor gunship escort their rotors beating the air ready to whisk the Captain off to the Nova Europa.

1500 hours, western Australian coast

Heavy winds and large waves were the only thing that greeted the Volzgradiens as they began to land on the beach. On the sea, countless heavy landing craft filled with supplies and armored vehicles rolled in the punishing surge while overhead unnumbered amounts of heavy transport choppers dropped off the Naval Infantry that were to clear the beachhead.

The massive bombardment had taken its toll on the defenders, who had been identified as remnants of the Australian Army. Destroyed buildings, broken bodies, and husks of tanks covered the ground as far as the eye could see. Only a few pockets of resistance remained in the shore bunkers, and they were quickly destroyed by the well equipped and trained Volzgradien Naval Infantry. Several of the massive landing craft had already hit the beaches and had began unloading their vital cargo.

The Volzgradien Navy had stopped the bombardment just before the helicopters and landing craft hit the beaches, to make sure there was no friendly fire. Most of the destroyers and cruisers were now protecting their allies against enemy retaliation.

1524 hours, western Australian coast

As the heavy, steel landing craft ramp fell, Cpl. Heinz Bellovic could truly see the devastation their navy had caused. The beach, once a pristine place where countless families rested and relaxed, had now become a dreary, crater pocked wasteland covered in the broken concrete of the shore defenses. "Damn, we really fucked these guys up huh" said a voice behind him as he surveyed the landscape. From his heavy northern accent, Bellovic could easily tell it was his friend, Mikhail Kasavin. "I pity whoever was in there" replied Heinz as he pointed at one of the most destroyed bunkers.

The roar of a starting engine quickly cut off their conversation and they hastily clambered onto their support vehicles. Despite the heavy tracks and suspension of the D-67 support halftrack, the drive over the beach felt like riding down a mountain on an old bicycle. After a few minutes of carefully maneuvering past blocks of destroyed concrete and shell craters, they had finally managed to reach the top of the hill were the base was supposed to be established.

They had met up with a squad of Naval Infantry who had agreed to guard them on the way to the rendezvous point. From his little cabin at the side of the D-67, Heinz could see 3 VNI (Volzgradien Naval Infantry) at the head of his convoy. He was about to look away when a slight movement to the left of the VNI caught his eye. He was about to call a warning when a hand grenade landed right in the middle of the guards. A massive explosion covered the ground where the VNI had been standing seconds ago and he could see their limbs fly off as the shrapnel tore them apart.

"Incoming, tangos at the front" roared Heinz as he leapt from his cabin, pump shotgun in hand. He could see his fellow engineers draw their arms and advance to meet the threat that had beset them. As he came closer to the truck at the front, he could see a squad of poorly armed militia bragging about their kill. Instinctively, Heinz raised his shotgun and fired a single shell at the group. He could see two of the group fall under the hail of pellets as he dove to he side of the truck.

A few shells and grenades later and the Australian militia were all face down in a pool of their own blood. The first contact between Volzgradiens and their foe, was a victory and beachhead for Volzgrad.

OOC: Volzgrad, many people have already stated this but, you're godmodding. Maybe you don't know why, but I'll explain it, since I do understand this much about MT, since its universal rp.

1) You are rping enemy losses, the enemy has not engaged us in any way, and also, the enemy are fellow rpers. They have to decide what they lose, not you. That's a part of godmodding, calling other peoples losses.

2) Also, the battle wasn't joined by anyone in this rp, so the only battling being done is by you, because everyone is following TPF's lead and sending commanders to discuss strategy.

Not trying to be a prick, but a couple people now have told your godmodding and to wait up. I'm adding myself to the list.

IC:

The Telrosian Republic did not lightly lend itself to wars, nor did it like to send men and women off to fight and die. It never liked to bring home the sad news to the countless families in the Republic of lost loved ones. It was hard, but sometimes, they had to what was necessary. The unwarranted aggression brought on by the nations who occupied this patch of earth had been too much for even the patient Telrosian people, and so, with great sadness and regret, they had mobilized for war. As they she had begun preparations, President Lyndon had noticed something odd: she had a message from the ThePeoplesFreedom. Quickly opening it, she gazed at the words and was struck dumb. The Prussians were going to war against the same enemy, and upon hearing the Republic's burgeoning might, they had extended an offer to join a Prussian attack force, under their command, to fight this menace.

They laid out a plain to attack Australia, under command by a sizable force of the enemy and its allies, though they would be cut off from supplies. It was still going to be a tough battle, and the Republic, having been peaceful for most of its existence, needed military experience badly, but did not have the ability to lead. So, she sent a message agreeing to their message and had the 8th Carrier Task Force sent, with the ground force she had gathered to go with the invasion. Commanded by Vice Admiral Stalzy, it was the force to fight alongside the others in the Allied force. He was no legendary commander, but he had been trained as bets was possible in the Republic. The 39 ship force steamed into the large gathering of ships, and stood maintained a position once it had arrived.

Stalzy, chewing on a cigar, was on the bridge of the Ark Royal Class carrier, the Defiant, when a messenger ran in. "Sir!" He turned, his green eyes locking onto the form of the panting ensign.

"What is it, boy? Spit it out!"

He stood up and saluted. "Sir, a message from the Prussian commander!" He held out a telegram paper, and the Vice Admiral took it, glancing over the message. He smiled inwardly; he was a good commander. With all these separate nations here, with varying skills and capabilities, they needed to make a plan that maximized their strengths and minimized their weaknesses. He handed the paper back.

"Let him know I will be over shortly." He walked out the door past the ensign, and within ten minute, was flying over in a Wellington helicopter, to the command carrier of the TPF fleet.

Rear Admiral Aleandro Capon and the other commanders of Task force Dingo rushed up to the flight deck of the HMS Hanna which was the flagship. The staff included ground commander of the marines forces General Dimitri Manfrin , and Army Col. Cornelio Marcelo with special forces company commander Maj. Adalrico Bruno. As they rush to get on the CH-53 and head to the TPF’s carrier. The Sea Hickory-1 was smaller than the average carrier, but then so were the sailors smaller than the norm. This was the Squirrelian Sea Air Force (SSAF-1) made up mostly of helicopters, both transport and attack. Trailing in it's week was a troop transport, Maple-1, carrying the Squirrelian Expeditionary Force (SEF-1).
Admiral Vale Hickory, acting captain of the Sea Hickory, was coordinating the forces from the United Socialist States of Regular Squirrels. He and two aids positioned themselves in the chopper to be taken to the Nova Europa.

1580 Hours, 15km off Western Shore

Vice Admiral Robyns Tamu smiled as his flagship cruised briskly across the ocean at 28 knots, trailed by the rest of the fleet. The Phoenix flag blew majestically in the sea breeze as foam bubbled in the wake of the ships. This is what he joined the Navy for. The calm before the storm, the quiet sea...

A few hours ago, Admiral Thomas Kachi had left on a Seahawk helicopter for the TPFian ship, leaving him in command of the fleet. It was a glorious feeling - at this moment, he was the youngest man to be commanding a fleet in the Navy.

"E-2C's ready." screeched Air Traffic Control over the radio.

"Ranchi!" shouted the Vice Admiral, smiling. "Launch!"

With a flourish, 2 E-2C Hawkeyes took off from the 2 carriers, launching themselves into the sky. A few seconds later, radar data began being fed into the ships' radar. This customary ritual of the Navy was always done unless in a dire situation, providing radar information so the fleet could see as far as it could. "Grapes", the crewmen wearing purple jumpsuits, ran across the two carriers' decks, prepping the fighters for battle. VLS systems were loaded and machine guns manned. All was ready.

After many years of being disrespected by the Australian nations, -Woodland- accepted the invitation from TPF for a joint invasion of Australia.
The buzzer rang on Commander Upsilon's desk.
"What is it?" he said.
"Sir, the TPF Commander is calling a meeting to plan the invasion."
"Tell him I am on my way, and send for my chopper."
"Yes, sir"

Aboard the KNS Hobbs, somewhere in the Pacific.

Admiral Grant Hayward looked over the water to the other fleets maneuvering into position alongside the Prussian armada, and shook his head. Any one of those fleets out there easily matched the entirety of the Karullian Navy in sheer firepower. His own battlegroup, clustered around the Alexander, was minute in comparison. Some thirty ships in number, plus support vessels, the largest being the Alexander herself. He leaned on the rail, glad for the chance to be up near the bridge. A captain for 25 years, it still bothered him that they'd jumped him to the Admiralty over a decade ago. He loved nothing more than the feel of commanding a ship at sea, but now he had to be content with orchestrating things from the command centre, not the captain's chair.

A young seaman popped his head out of the nearby door, and then snapped to attention, saluting.

"Admiral, we've got an incoming communication from the Nova Europa. Seems all allied sea and land commanders are invited to a council of war."

"Signal recieved and understood. Then flash Rear Admiral Ayama aboard the Haven, notify her that her presence is requested also. And that she should bring that groundpounder Colonel who's currently taking up space in her hold."

"Roger."

Hayward glanced up at the distant shape of the Prussian carrier, and smiled. Walking back along the gangway, he pulled open the door to the bridge and stepped inside. "Captain."

Captain Matthew Feldman turned from his position poring over the charts. "Sir?"

"Order the chopper prepared, if you would. I'm heading over to the Nova Europa".

"Will do, Sir. Should I notify the Marines for an escort?"

"No need. It'll be fine."

Fifteen minutes later, the Seahawk took off from the Hobbs' flight deck, the Admiral and his aide on board. Hayward looked down on the Eminent-class battleship, his new flagship. Barely out of trials, the Hobbs, like most of the vessels in the newly-restructured battle group, was practically brand new. He felt a swell of pride as he looked at her, but then a familiar twinge of disloyalty hit, the same he had felt whenever he looked at a vessel other than his own. To redress this, he sought out his old command among the mass of ships, assigned to his battle group thanks to considerable string pulling.

There she was, out on the fringes of the fleet. He'd know her lines anywhere, seeing as how he'd captained her for almost a decade. The Type-23 frigate Nuriko, one of the oldest ships in the fleet at 19 years of age. He'd been her skipper from the day she was commissioned, until the Sea Command decided to make him a brass. As the chopper left the Karullian fleet behind, Hayward settled back in his seat and stared out of the window.

Somewhere north of Alice Springs.

"...And so comrades we'll begin the Bakunin study group in one hour sharp! Dismissed!"

Political Officer Nikolai Lifield watched his men wander back to their tents for a quick poker game or whatever else they could do in this godforsaken wasteland. The Unified Anti Fascist Syndicalist Movement had seen it fit for some reason to dispatch himself and his men off to the middle of nowhere. So they built a well camouflaged, if ramshackle camp and settled down to wait for something to happen.

Lifield walked over to one of their tanks. They'd procured a number of ancient T34 chassis's from a Vietnamese arms dealer and some M41 Walker light tank turrets. Then they'd had the camp's machists fuse the components together into a sandbag covered junker of a tank.

In retrospect it would have been a better idea just to buy the damn T72's.

Suddenly one of the guerillas rushed out his his tent screaming and waving a portable shortwave radio around!

"Comrade Officer, comrade officer! The Fascists are attacking!"

Lifield intercepted him and cuffed him on the back of the head.

"Calm down you dolt, now wheres the damn transmitter? I must radio Darwin for instructions!"

TPFS Nova Europa

It wasn't too long before the rest of the allies arrived onboard the carrier. That was rather good news, any undue delays would simply let the enemy prepare even more for the ongoing assault. As the allies shuffled into the carrier's control tower the Prussian officers prepared the projector. Once their friends had taken a seat, they began.

" Welcome. I hope you all are enjoying your stay. My name is Brigadier General Housemann, operational officer for the army here for TPF. What I am about to present to you men is a plan that we have come up with initially, subject to change of course. Our plan is to seize the island of East Timor first with its international airport. By securing this we wil have a safe area for land-base aircraft to engage enemy forces. Once this is completed, the Prussian fleet will move to engage any enemies around the area of Darwin, we shall secure a exlusion zone of all enemy ships in a 300 kilometer radius. Once this is complete we will begin a two to three day prepatory bombardment. This will target transportation areas, communications targets, HVT's, any enemy military forces moving and other targets as we see fit. We shall then land on at least ten different beaches with amphibious assault forces, securing the area for our panzers to blitz and encircle enemy forces. Any questions, concerns, comments, clarifications, or modifications?

On board the TPFS Nova Europa

Captain John Gray cleared his throat
“we have just one suggestion to make the. Admiral Gryphan suggests that we break the 17th from the main Attack force and make a diversionary Amphibious assault on either Canberra or Sydney. Whether or not we actually succeed in forming a beachhead is irrelevant. What is important is that with a bit of luck it should draw some of the defenders out of their entrenched positions on the west coast making your initial assault more likely to succeed. We will leave the HMS Unforgiven under your command to help in the Bombardment"

OOC: Sorry for not attending the briefing, but I have an IC response ready.

2200 hours, 10 miles off the Western Australian coast

"Damn it Nikolai just get the cursed thing of the ground" roared Admiral Danil Stavin at the frightened maintenance worker. " I am very sorry comrade Admiral, but this chopper took a fair amount of hits during the landings and she's definitely not ready to fly" replied Nikolai weakly as the cowered under the Admiral's stare. "We have countless others, can't they come and take me" asked Stavin as he regained his composure.

"Sorry comrade Admiral, but all are currently occupied in ferrying our Naval Infantry to shore" he responded, slightly less terrified then before. "I apoligize for my outburst, I suppose I could just patch through to the meeting using the comms-system" Stavin said, slightly annoyed.

As he ascended the steps to the command bridge, Stavin could truly see the might of Volzgrad's largest fleet. As far as he could see, the Admiral saw only massive behemoths of steel, floating gently in the calm see. His flagship, the Silver Falcon, was on of the newer ships in the fleet. It was the first Vladivostok class heavy battleships, and as such it was highly respected. Despite this, he yearned for his old ship, the Victory, which he had left when he became an admiral a decade ago.

Even he new his position was one of convenience. During the dark days of the civil war, he was one of the few captains who had remained loyal to the old Soviet government. He barely dodged execution because he was one of the few remaining captains who had some combat experience. Thankfully, now that the Communist Party had won the election, he had many less politicians
breathing down this neck.

He continued to scan the horizon until he saw his old ship. Nestled between two of the newly acquired Azaral class battleships. Despite the inky darkness, Stavin could still see the Victory's proud guns aiming toward their foe on Australia.

"Comrade Admiral, we have already patched through to the meeting" gasped his comms-officer behind him. "Very good Alexei, now its time for us to unite as one and crush the bastards who dare stand against us on that damn rock" he shouted patriotically as he jogged into the Command bridge and sat down next to the comm.

(P.S. Does the 17th refer to me? Because the fleet I sent is the 17th.)
