Greston

Alice Krippin sat in a fully armed UH-1N Twin Huey, 1,000 feet above the coastal structures of the newly claimed territory, Saudi Arabia. She was making trips all around Greston and her Colonies to get the support of a majority of voters, even if it meant putting her life at risk. She had come from the Grestonian colonies up north in Europe, went along with a military ship from Amsterdam to Djibouti and then she was placed on the Uh-1N Twin Huey she was currently on along with six military staff and three of her campaigners. Captain Brandon Verol was escorting her along with his squad made up of five men, all corporals, Corp. Jack Aring, Corp. John Wagner, Corp. Peter Sander, Corp. Adam Jackesvill, and Corp. Bob Woodhart.
Richard Pellington, born of a rich eccentric family, sat to her left with Marley Wander to her right. Richard wore a reddish-brown tie sporting a pin with the Grestonian Seal. He wore an informal suit, covering his Kevlar vest. He came to a height of 5’9”, making Alice look much taller then she really was. Marley was a preppy girl but cold become grim and hateful in seconds. She looked to be a nice woman but was quite mean and brash at times, but not as much as Alice was.
Alice didn’t even look nice. She had a kind heart when she needed to but was more than capable of turning into the evilness that only that of dictators and others horrid people could show.
Then they were ready to land. The pilot called back to them, the escorts armed themselves. The Huey started to lower to the ground, scattering dust and sand into the faces of the soldiers there to greet her. Despite the fact specs of sand were irritating their eyes they stood still and saluted…..
“Dear God help!”
The greeting team was scattered everywhere, but not scattered as not in a line, scattered in the meaning that their guts littered the ground and their blood stained the surrounding area.
A hail of sniper fire poured down upon the Huey and the people around it. It had already taken Corporal Wagner and was leaving Corporal Aring screaming to the sky for his mother, for his life. The rest of the team jumped down and took positions around the three politicians to protect them from the metal death from above.
They were all either crouched or on the ground when the fire ceased to continue, for the moment. Captain Verol had his two of his men get up and move out, Corporal Woodhart and Jackesvill were the unfortunate ones. Theyt reluctantly stood up, slowly, calmly although their thoughts were nothing like that. Their AK-104s rose forward and they stepped small steps towards the direction of where the firing came from.
They were even past the deceased escort when the firing commenced once again. This time it came quicker and more numerous, it was the sound of a MG3 MG Heavy Machine Gun bearing down upon the party. The first few bullets tore through Woodhart’s chest, traveling up and then through his right eye. The blood spewed out and stained the white sand beneath him. Corporal Jackesvill then responded differently, instead of firing back he twirled around and scrambled to get into the helicopter, he didn’t get more then six feet. As his body made an impression in the sand the firing stopped once again.
That left the Captain and Corporal Peter Sander. Sander jumped from his position and flew into the helicopter. He got behind the metal of the side of it and jumped into the front. He started rushing the pilots. The whirring of the engine flushed out the rest of the party, the diplomats, Alice, the remaining guards, the Captain, and the few other political members that came along. It started to spine and the thing sliced through the flesh of an unsuspecting politician as she looked back and forth trying to get in.
Captain Verol pushed the three most important politicians down so not to get hurt and he then attempted to stop the helicopter from leaving. Then the bullets poured down upon the feuding party, tearing through the Captains body as he struggled to get the people out of the Huey. He fell, half in the copter half out, and then bullets no longer had a barrier and started tearing through the rest of the team and hitting equipment, including the only camera.
The Huey started to go up but not as steadily as it should have been the weight of the dieing party and the hail fire kept it from going steadily. It got off the ground and started struggling upwards. It started to spin in circles and some team members, some lifeless some not, flew out of the open doors. The Corporal slid into a metal side, bashing the back of his head in.
The helicopter kept going up, almost 60 feet high already. The Corporal, now dizzy started sliding around like a drunk. One member of the team slid as the helicopter jerked and he bumped into the Corporal, he grabbed onto some equipment but the soldier was not as lucky. He started to fall backwards as the copter started to tip that way. Another man fell and the soldier, going backwards, tripped over him and plummeted out of the Huey. He started to fall quickly and the air rushed him. He screamed out all the way until he fell into the Red Sea. It caused a splash, going up almost ten feet. He had fallen so hard that it looked as if the surface of the water was what broke his bones and his neck. But even if it didn’t he was knocked out and his nose and mouth were below the water.
The rest of the team was in shock, and all of their faces showed it, except for Alice’s. She couldn’t help but let out a smirk. She kept down to the ground as the helicopter above her fought to stay airborne. It didn’t have to fight to much longer, it seemed the attackers were well equipped for as the helicopter sustained its position in the air for more then 30 seconds a round of an Airburst Urban LAW pierced it and caused it to fall. It spit out flames and screamed drifted out the open side doors.
The copter started going in all directions and three more fell out. Then it occurred. Yet another round came flying from the attackers positions and hit the thing that connected the rotors. The rotor flew from off the top and the burning copter flew down, plummeting quicker then the soldier did. Two people jumped out thinking it would save themselves only for it to cause their death or two broken legs. The rest of the party stayed with the the Huey as it fell, even when it crashed into the shallow Read Sea water. The remaining parts exploded while the rest was crushed from impact. No one survived.

“Oh dear God, Ms. Krippin, that is horrible, you definitely have my vote in the election to come.”
Alice smiled and placed her right hand in Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla’s hand and shook it firmly.
“Thank dear sir, I hope you will love my time in office.”
It was all on tape, her telling the story of the landing and her views to the Colonel, it was the first major thing to occur since she started campaigning and it was all caught on a camera, the only one they brought along.
