The Totalitarian New World Order of Global State
Overview
The year is 2080, as the economically devastated Germany was the environment that brought Adolf Hitler to power, the nuclear devastation of the Third World War ten years ago against most of the known world would eventually bring to power something much worse than what the dystopian predictions that George Orwell and Aldous Huxley have envisioned about a dark, hopeless future for mankind. From the decadent United Nations, against all possibilities, and almost seeming to have come straight from an obscure conspiracy theory coming true, a man called Paulus Rovari Porter have volunteered himself as "governor of the world" to "restore order, peace and prosperity to mankind through the establishment of a New World Order", despite the total refusal of the anarchic Third Commune to accept his authority, the only nation of the world who stood against it, attempting futilely to gain a hold in interplanetary colonization, until itself was as well destroyed, except for a handful of genetically selected survivors who took refuge in a far away planet in the Gliese 581 system. In a few years, through sheer oppression and violence, he have restored order over the rioting and almost entirely devastated world in a way that seemed to be impossible.
Several religions claimed Porter was the messiah that would save mankind and although initially he was believed to be a "benevolent dictator", in a few years his iron fist became more and more ruthless and brutal. Perhaps it is deeply ironic that the same information technology, transhumanist and eugenics principles that were employed to create a perfectly free society in Third Commune were used to create an unquestionable totalitarian State of absolute tyranny which would call itself the Global State, from the ashes of the Third World War and of the previous world order. According to Christians, such man was not only another, and perhaps the worst tyrant in mankind's history, as according to them, this man was the Antichrist from the prophecy of the Book of Revelation himself. All "citizens", can be considered almost entirely mentally dead, as they were forced, at bullet-point or worse, to have implants of brain-computer interfaces which rather than serving as an improved ways of perception and communications, took advantage of centuries of shady researches over mind control to create the perfect device for enforcing conformity, it did not merely stomped on freedom... it was much beyond, Global State has violated the sanctity of human consciousness and annihilated free will itself and thus what makes an human being human, for they always obeyed, every single action, every single gesture of them was controlled, watched and defined by the State: they were automatons and puppets rather than human beings. People who refused to follow the State-sponsored religion or accept the "mark of the Beast", specially Christians, were mass murdered, leading to the death of more than 90% of the world population coupled with World War Three, and thus mankind's darkest hour has begun.
