Exetonian Civil Engineering and Exports (ECEE)

The ECEE company founded some hundred years ago by Air exetonia, Exetonian Steel Corporation (ESC), Exetonia Mining incorporate (EMI), Transport Exetonia, Exetonian Civil Engineering and part funded by the Exetonian Empire Public Transport department has been providing quality construction work for railways, roads, airports, heliports, the mining industry, the power industry (coal, gas and nuclear), and the military. As well as these things, the ECEE has been providing quality planes, trains, automobiles, mining equipment and helicopters

With Exetonia slowly moving towards a capitalist economy with a truly democratic state, the ECEE company has been given permission to expand its operations globally. This means that they are able to make their expertise and workmanship avaliable worldwide at a reasonable price. The ECEE company is more than capable of handling massive/multiple orders due the size of its operations. Transport Exetonia is one of the nations largest employers and car manufacturers employing over 150 million employees at over 500 manufacturing plants. In total the ECEE company employs nearly 450 million people, A sizeable amount of the nations workforce.

The ECEE company deals only with world governments working out just how much can be done for them. All consumable goods are sold to the Government who can then either use them for state owned companies or sell them to other companies within the nation at a slight markup. The consumable goods are purchased using a nations public transport budget whilst construction is taken from the administration budget. All profits go directly to the ECEE company with none now going to the Government as the initial loan was paid over 25 years ago.

The ECEE company has also opened up shares for sale although no investor will ever be allowed to purchase controlling shares.

Share purchasing rules and amount currently avaliable.

No company may own more than 1,000,000 Shares in the ECEE company. Shares are currently trading at $10,000 a share with the minimum purchase being 50,000 shares. The ECEE company itself owns at present 15,000,000 shares split between the board of directors. No single share holder may group with other share holders to attempt a hostile buyout. There are at present 10,000,000 more shares to be purchased with 20,000,000 further shares awaiting release to the market when the time is deemed right.

Share holders will be able to sell their shares in the company at any time should they feel that they have made a sufficient level of profit or that they wish to cut their losses. All sales must be back to the ECEE company and will be at the current market rate. All sales must be requested in writing.

Rail/Road/Heliport/Airport Construction

This particular section is something that the ECEE company takes great pride in. It was through rail, road, heliport and airport construction that the company grew to the size it is today in the Exetonian Empire. All the Exetonian civil engineers who work in this section are highly skilled labourers who have either learnt their job through the trade (manual labour) or through the University of Exeter city (planning etc.)

For over 100 years this service has been the backbone of the empire with the vast majority of roads, railways heliports and airports being constructed or laid down by the ECEE company. They are extremly efficient with 100 miles of railroad track able to be laid within 6 months (although station construction and electrification increase this time by up to 12 weeks.) You will find that although prices may seem a little hight, they are very fair for the workmanship involved. You will also be pleased to know that all work carriedout in this sector comes with a no quibble meaning if it needs repairing/replacing, the ECEE compay will do the work for free.

Should a major accident occur that can be directly attributed to the ECEE company, there is a no fuss compensation service avaliable in that any compensation due will be paid in full with no fights from lawyers. Also, the department head at the time of construction and any underlings found to be directly culpable will be tried under exetonian law unless extradition is specifically requested. Please note under Exetonian legal law we cannot extradite a person to a nation with the death penalty, we can however offer your legal system the chance to travel all expenses paid to try the culprits in the Empire. The maximum sentance of life can and should be issued in these cases if the evidence supports the legal action.

The ECEE company only really took over this area of the empires civil engineering when other parts began to falter and were absorbed into the company about 25 years after its founding. That being said, the ECEE company maintains the same high standards of construction in these fields of Civil Engineering as the rail/road/heliport/airport field. The total amount of mining, military and powerplant facilities they were responsioble for constructing and are responsible for maintaining now runs to some 75% (over 600) throughout the Empire with the other 25% having been constructed by or are maintained by other parties within Exetonia.

The ECEE company knows just how important these structures are to the economical growth of a nation and her defence. They always take pride in the construction of these facilities and make sure they are built to last. The ECEE gives a life time warranty on these facilities and will decomission them for free at the end of their life cycles. There is a nominal charge for the decomissioning of Nuclear poer plants but this is due solely to the costs of decomissioning these facilities.

Please note that although the ECEE company is quite happy to construct Nuclear powerplants and pay for the tuition of would be technicians to a high standard, that the Exetonian government forbids the ECEE from selling either uranium or Plutonium. There are two reasons for this.

1: The ECEE company cannot take action should Uranium/Plutonium end up being used for WMD means nor can it take action against terrorist groups who may intercept the cargo.
2: The Empires uranium mining policy is such that only small amounts may be mined at any one time to ensure the longevity of any supplies and so as not to harm the empires environment.

This area of production is handled by Air Exetonia and is one of the smaller areas of the ECEE companys vehicle construction market within the empire. The ECEE company caters for aircraft that are quite capable of completing an intercity journey to trans-continental aircraft. All aircraft are based on pre-existing international designs modified to meet the Empires and Air Exetonias needs.

With regards to helicopters, all are based on previous long existing and well researched designs whilst being caterd to suit Exetonian needs. All export helicopters are the Exetonian versions on the original frames.

Transport Exetonia is the founding partner responsible for the construction of these vehicles. Transport Exetonia works in conjunction with or owns: EASA - The Exetonian Aeronautics and Space Association, Grennbourne Autos - The primary car manufacturer in the Empire and The Association of Rail Engineers and Constructors (AREC).

Construction is always to a high standard requiring many months of vigorous testing (years for aircraft prototypes) before a product is ready to release to the general market. This side of the industry, especially the automobile market is worth a small fortune to the Exetonian market and is the largest employer in the industry.
