OOC: Take the role of an Orbathian citizen and vote for whom you think should be the next President, or act as a news reporter or foriegn agency and ask some questions. Pledge support, do whatever, just make sure you vote!
Foreign Minister James Andrews
Andrews got into politics at a young age. He has since served one term on the Northern Province Council and three terms as Foreign Minister, two for former President Jackson and one for former President Williams. He is now the current President of Orbath and the Count of Orbath's colony Throppe. If he is not elected, it is expected that he will become a cerimonial figure head in Throppe.
Pros
He is credited with greatly boosting the economy of Orbath, including establishing a greater level of foriegn trade. He is also credited with the purchase of a colony (Throppe), establishing foreign relations, including closer relations with allies and the creation of a Foreign legion.
Cons
His purchase of a colony did create controversy among some, including a small fringe group which believes he plans on becoming a dictator. (He does not plan on becoming a dictator)
Stances On
Environment: Believes in making an effort to preserve the environment, especially the lush jungles.
Trade: Believes in keeping with current trade policies which include an active pursuit in new trade prospects which may include increased future trade with Yanitaria. (You mentioned someone could send your King a wife or something :D)
Foreign Relations: Believes in continuing the strengthening of relations, especially with those in the NU.
Throppe/Other Colonies: Believes that colonies are good, providing they can be acquired in a peaceful manner and can provide Orbath with some benefit. In most cases believes in giving colonies almost sovereign rule and depending on the situation, total sovereignty. He also believes he is the de facto head of state of Throppe and if he his not elected, should still remain leader of Throppe.
Economy: Wants to ensure further worldwide expansion in an effort to keep Orbath's economy stimulated and avoid recession like several NU members.
Military: Wishes to keep a small, mostly defensive well trained force but with rapid reaction forces for dealing with potential situations. Wishes to conduct more training exercises with world militaries, especially the NU.
OOC: If Andrews is elected, things will remain mostly the same with an increased effort to reach out to new friends (Gesford and others)
Mark Milford
Mark Milford is a lawyer, former ambassador, former mayor and served for two terms on the northern provincial council.
Stances On
Environment: Thinks saving the environment is largely a waste of time. Believes in not wasting time and clear cutting the jungles.
Trade: Believes in decreasing exports and increasing imports in an effort to keep more things ''Orbathian.''
Foreign Relations: Believes in continuing the strengthening of relations, especially with those in the NU.
Throppe/Other Colonies: Believes that colonies are great and willing to acquire them through any means, though mostly financially. Does not wish to do much for a colonies population, other than ensure they are employed in an Orbathian business in that colony.
Economy: Wants to ensure further worldwide expansion in an effort to keep Orbath's economy stimulated and avoid recession like several NU members.
Military: Wishes to keep a small, mostly defensive well trained force but with expeditionary forces for capturing colonies.
OOC: If Milson is elected, he will likely only serve one term, and will come across as snobby and arrogant. He will likely acquire a mass of colonies, and may be responsible for ordering human rights violations and the creation of secret colonial police forces.
Jack Morgan
A citizen of both Throppe and Orbath, he is currently a Bishop in Throppe and before that, served in several low ranking positions within the former empire of Paloni. He is an avid catholic.
Stances On
Environment: Believes in the preservation of the environment at all costs.
Trade: Wishes to expand trade, especially between Orbath and Throppe.
Foreign Relations: Believes in continuing the strengthening of relations, especially with those in the NU.
Throppe/Other Colonies: Wishes to keep a tighter reign on Throppe and if elected, would appoint President James Andrews as the Viscount.

Military: Wishes to keep a small, mostly defensive well trained force. Wishes to conduct more training exercises with world militaries, especially the NU.
OOC: If Morgan is elected, Throppe will see an increase of military forces and tighter laws. There will also be riots and possibly a rebellion because of his policies and because Throps and Orbathians believe he cheated the system and should now have bypassed the nobility structure within Throppe
