Fountain Square
In downtown Resi City lies a scenic park, at the north edge of which lies a fountain which symbolizes lady Fortune raining down good favors on the downtrodden. A quiet, meditative spot in an otherwise busy city, many Resian citizens come to Fountain Square when they need a time away from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives. Embassies will be located along the parameter, and there are fifteen plots of land available.

Temple Heights
On the peak of Mt. Aether resides a small, Buddhist temple, attended by a handful of monks who have agreed to accommodate a select few embassies on their land in the interest of furthering international peace. A fifteen-minute bus ride from the Pan-Resian Monorail (PRM) line from Resi City, this spot is as secluded as one can get on Resi Isle, and as such only offers five plots.

Caldonian Palace
A generation ago when the Resi Corporation was known as Caldonia, the Imperial Family lived in this stunning palace by the Crescent City canals. Though "Crescent City" is now known as "Resi City", the canal and the palace remain, a stunning tourist attraction on the edge of the waterfront. Due to the historical nature of the surroundings, only ten plots are available.

In the interest of maintaining free trade and association with as many nations as possible, I have decided to contract Gesford's two resident corporation states (Venner Incorporated and The Kane Corporation) into building a Joint Commerce Compound, our form of embassy, in your nation. Though all of these locations look wonderful, it is the custom to place the JCCs in the financial center of a capital city. Which of these locations would you say fits the bill best?

I should also note that JCCs are rather large, being both effective embassies and corporate national headquarters for two corporations (VI and TKC). The number of civilian staff generally runs at 100 individuals, and 50 security personnel are present as well, all with respective armaments and corporate transportation(this usually includes enough body armor to equip the entire security staff, 50 HK G36Cs, 50 Para-Ordinance HiCaps Personal Sidearms, 15 armored HMMWVs, 2 Hammond armored limousines, 50 Hammond Executives, and one Sanders Executive helicopter). All of this is, of course, housed within the compound. Would such a building be acceptable? Once this is settled, we will submit a formal application.

Though we would be interested to create ties with a nation such as yours, for what it's worth, we must decline on the basis of the level of militarization you expect within your embassy - it seems as if you're creating a foreign-occupied bunker right outside Fountain Square rather than an agency for peace.

On the topic of weapons - automatic, standard issue rifles are acceptable, as they denote station and create an aura of safety and security inside the compound, and have more of a ceremonial purpose than any expected use. Sniper rifles are acceptable for the same reason - if people notice snipers on the roofs they are statistically less likely to act up. Beanbag guns, mace, batons, and other non-lethal armaments are also acceptable though for the opposite reason - if anything must be used against our civilians, we would rather it be non-lethal.

Shotguns, combat or otherwise, however, are not acceptable as they are generally not standard-issue military fare and have entirely different implications. Our citizens can see a guard with an assault rifle and know he means business but isn't out for blood indiscriminately - a shotgun on the other hand is an unknown weapon and thus inspires fear. It may seem like a petty distinction, but paying attention to small details like these keeps our populace happy, and our nation's streets clean of blood.
