SDN's may be imposing as a command ship, but are of little tactical use. Using an ordinary cruiser or armoured battleship as a command vessel is safer and less resource intensive.

A super dreadnaught represents around three million tonnes of resources. The same three million tonnes could be used to make 60 50,000-ton warships, or 150 20,000-ton ships.
