OOC: After Roma V telegrammed me with news that Ryou agreed to peace talks, I have created this thread for the sole purpose of conducting such talks. Ryou and Roma V: both of you can just send your delegates over and assume you've been told of the location, time, etc of the peace talks.

The Empress of Ixania, Anastasia II, had been the proud owner of a lovely countryside mansion which had donned the name of Rosefield because of the spacious rose gardens that surrounded the mansion. At times the Empress would stay here to escape the city life and to find quiet solace in which she could relish being alone with the chirping birds and the little rodents that scurried about. She chose this place to be the site of peace talks between the nations of Roma V and the Ryou Black Islands; both of whom were relatively well known to Ixanians before and during the war which had started between them. Dressed in a formal suit that made her look more like a prominent businesswoman, Anastasia took her seat at the round table which she placed in what she called the meeting room while Ixanian security guards patrolled every inch of the mansion zealously. The Foreign Minister, Ivan Rucinsky, was called upon to meet with foreign leaders so Anastasia took it upon herself as the head of state and government of Ixania to officiate these talks. She would not have minded a Papal delegation attending these talks; even know she was not a member of the Catholic Church and was raised in a nation with Lutherans and Orthodox Christians being dominant. As time passed, she would occassionally ask officers to notify her when the delegates from Roma V and the Ryou nation arrived.

Empress Isabella was on The Imperial Plane, now heading for Ixania. She knew that The only way for the war to end was ether these talks, or a Fight.

While she never declared a Cease-fire, unless both sides start working on a Peace Treaty, She would be at The peace Talks. She only hope that she had not have to stay in Ixania if her homeland was Invaded.

The Ruler of The Ryou Empire has a escourt of Imperial Naval Police, from the Women's Corp of The Impeiral Navy. They were Armed with M14s and Cutlasses.

"Well, I--", the Emperor was suddenly interuppted as one of his bodyguards tapped him on the shoulder and handed him a cell phone. He smiled apologetically and put the cell phone to his ear. "Quaeus here. This better be important im trying to end this war." The Emperor Quietly listened to the response on the end. "I see...keep my updated." He ended the call and handed the cell phone back to his bodyguard. "I have some troubling news. The fleet blockading the Strait of Gibraltar has engaged the Ryou fleet."

He looked to Empress Isabella for her reaction.

As the Roman Emperor must have said, the Vatican is an independent state and its leader is entitled to his own views regardless of whether or not they are acceptable. However, I believe that you and the Pope should try to repair relations, Isabella. Reconciliation is something that will benefit both of you in the long-term."
