Article from a western news paper on Bulgislavia
The small communist state of Bulgislavia didnt really have a large film industry. it didnt even have a good music industry either. As of 1946 every film ever made was either glorifying the leaders or about attrocities committed by enimies during the Great Patriotic Liberation War (WW2) and some movies about inspiring factory workers or farmers. All music was censored and had to reflect the state and party in a good way.
now that The Comrade General Secretary Alia has allowed reforms and has even eliminated some of the most rediculous and repressive laws in the censorship rules new musicians are popping up everywhere. New film directors and people are working together and new film scripts some of which would never have been made under Provoçe rule infact of the most controversial scripts would of seen its writters inprisoned.
One of the latest songs released is by a Solo guitarest who sings about the daily grind in an inefficient communist system. The Party banned the song for a few weeks before Alia allowed it to play saying that
"In the spirit of these reforms we must give everyone a voice now"
The song is currently one of the most played songs on the newly created "Voice of theYouth Radio" Bulgislavia's first free radio station that is not under state control. even the youth of Terevesti sing it as they walk down the street. During Provoçe's rule to sing such a song would of meant immediate interrogation from Cigouriva agents and possible Imprisonment
In this new era of openess people are finding more oppourtunities thanks to the Comrade General Secretary Alia Prekov

Another industry also seemed to pop out of nowhere since the reforms and that is a new fashion and modeling industry. Now that people can express themselves alot more people are opening up new shops and with the flow of foriegners into the country most notably returning refugees a new fashion has emerged. It seemed the only sort of clothes you ever saw in Bulgislavia made you think of the 1950's with uninspiring skirts, dresses and men in white long sleve tops and black pants but now western and foriegn clothes are seeping into Bulgislavia
There are even reports of Bulgislavian's offering a whole months wage to buy some clothes of some of the foriegn tourists.
Out of all these new industries brought in with the reforms a new face has come to represent them and that is 17 yearold Nadia Silivus.
She has become an icon and symbol of the new free culture flooding into Bulgislavia.
Picked up last month to model new western fashions in Bulgislavia her face has appeared on the cover of 3 Bulgislavian magazines and just recently the state news paper the Voice of the People mentioned her as "Bulgislavia's most unforgattable female of the year"
She has also been picked up to star in a new film called "Lena" which is a film based on Bulgislavia's most famous female gymnast in the 1956 olympics in Melbourne. Nadia is set to Play Lena at 16 years old, Bulgislavia's youngest olympic athlete. The film focuses on Lena's horrid experience training for the olympics.
Just yesterday Nadia met the real Lena who is now a 68 yearold. Surrounded by an eutourage Nadia said of Lena
"An inspiring woman and a credit to Bulgislavia"
Lena also shared what she thought of the young up and coming star
"Nadia is a beautiful young woman who will do great things and I'm sure her portrayal of me in this film will be accurate and good.
Nadia spent today out in the street of Terevesti where Bulgislavian's got a view of the up and coming talent
She has long curly and flowing dark brown hair, an Olive, tanned complection with dark brown eyes and an hourglass figure, quite thin.
Nadia's agent spoke to a reporter for some new Bulgislavian magazines saying
"Nadia will be very busy over the coming year with one major film project as well as her modelling on the side. Nadia also has an extremely beautiful voice and hopefully you will also hear more of here incredable voice on the radio too"
