~Official Communique~

Greetings. My name is Major General Ingram J Hasley, commander of the 501st Marine division. It has been proven over the years that the Cazelian Marines have fought not up to expectations, although bravery and honor are a common sight. Today however, things are going to change. A ten man squad of Marines from three divisions, the 72nd MEF, the 53rd Armored and the 501st Airborne have been specially selected to travel the world and exchange information, training and advice with the armies of the world, and spread it to their divisions. We eagerly await a reply.

Sincerely,
Ingram J Hasley
~Major General

OOC: It's kind of a spur of the moment thing. I think this could turn in to a decent RP.

Your description of your forces has them seeming similar to our own. I would be honoured to meet with a detachment of Cazelian soldiers. I could arrange for you or your soldiers to attend a training session of soldiers, or discuss tactical matters with one of our officers.

To: Maj. Gen. Ingram J. Hasley, Commander, 501st Cazelian Marine Division

We invite your group of Marines to visit our Army units, as well as our Special Forces units. It is my hope that these visits (and any discussions that you might wish to enter into) will benefit both of our nations. It might even be possible for your forces to visit our six army divisions that are involved in the police action in Manhattan Prime, if you wish it.

From the Throne of the German Empire and Office of the Chancellor (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/04/Wappen_Deutsches_Reich_-_Reichswappen_%28Grosses%29.png)

Germany would be extremely interested in the opportunity to teach your forces as well as to learn, and to exchange our experience on a friendly basis. You are free to send your marines to the Empire at any time of your choosing where they may visit our own units in their bases, visit the Imperial General Staff, and arrange meetings with our special forces, and may also wish to parpicipate in the the army exercises which will be held as part of the commemoration for the 90th year since the battle of Wirten(which you may know as Verdun). Conversely, we would be intrigued by anything we could lean regarding some subjects including the conduct of amphibious operations.

If you wish, similar exchanges can be organised with our allies Poland and Lithuania.

Greetings,

The Rhodesian Military would be more than happy to allow your marines to come to Rhodesia to undergo Royal Commando training. This training, some of the most rigourous in the world, is undergone as the final phase of Royal Marine training. We pride ourselves on its difficulty but no man is allowed to quit. All recruits come together and it finalises the transition from Civillian into Royal Marine Commando. Your men would do well to learn its techniques and utilise it in Cazelia. The Marine Divisions in the former Cazelian Republic of Kaztania also undergo this training.

It is a nine week long program along the Zambesi river. Send your men and we shall begin the process of making your Marines into the greatest soldiers on the planet.

~Chief of Staff Field Marshal van Eyck

New Nicksyllvania
21-04-2008, 16:54
The Greater New Nicksyllvanian Empire shall allow a squad of Cazelian Marines to enroll in training in one of our training camps in Mo Quia, as part of a study investigating whether the superiority of the Nicksyllvanian man is mainly due to our exceptional training, or simply due to our superior genetics. The course will be 9 months long, and those participating will individually recieve 500,000$N ($20,000 USD) as well as have all expenses paid for during training. The training, in proud Nicksyllvanian tradition will be harsh, and we shall bear no responsibility to deaths of injuries sustained during the term, though we will do our upmost to minimize such incidents.

"...Those Londinian bastards couldn't handle another invasion, so stop trying to convince me they're coming back for us" Commented Jack 'Jackal' Henderson, as he paced towards the C-130 "You always seem so certain about stuff like this. I remember when we went into Greal. You said they wouldn't dare attack us, and guess what, Bob got shot in the leg" Replied Samuel Gardener
"Shut up, you pricks are giving me a headache" complained William Elias
"Fine. Your presence is giving me constipation" Replied Samuel
"Burn, Will, Burn" Chuckled Robert 'Bob' Santiago, who was already sitting in the aircraft with his beloved HK-417
"Damn you Bob" laughed Will, taking a seat on one of the more comfortable seats in the aircraft

The last seven men walked up the closing mouth of the aircraft
"I love you Sarah!" Yelled Adam Hinsley, the newest man in the squad, as he waved goodbye to his wife. The some of the squad watched with envy while the rest looked on with horrible memories of their deceased family
"Hey replacement! Get over here! This isn't basic!" Yelled Samuel
"Leave the kid alone, the first week the the 'MC are tough" Said Lt. Allen Vasquez, while lighting them both cigars
"Thanks LT, I owe you one once we get back from K'stan"
"It's what I do for my men. Say, do you think the girls are hot in Kahanistan?"
"I wouldn't know"
Vasquez laughed "I'm sure they are Sam. Anyways, from what I've heard we'll be training with their somewhat lacking armed forces. You boys think we can teach them a few lessons in war fighting?"
"Ooh-rah, LT. I'm sure they'll learn something from us, with our 'Honored Veterans' status at the Vet's bar, I'm sure we'll give them something to remember"

"Prepare for take-off boys, we're expecting some rough weather on the ways, but a clear landing when we reach Kahanistan"
"Sweet. Hey Vasquez, you got any booze?" Asked Jackal
Vasquez reached into his backpack and pulled out a bottle of Anagonian Vodka
"Holy shit, LT, that stuff must be expensive! How did you get that!" Screamed Santiago
"Last week I met this smokin' chick. She gave me this as our parting gift just before I left." He pulled out a few shot glasses and passed them around the plane
"Anything passes the time on a plane like this"
"Amen, brother"

A flight of Su-30 MKI air superiority fighters approached the Cazelian aircraft. "Cazelian aircraft... welcome to Kahanistan. You are cleared to land at Airstrip Five."

The President, several generals, and a dozen or so NCO's and junior officers waited near the airstrip.

From:
Commandant-General Douglas Helveston,
Royal Corps of Marines

Dear General Hasley,
Atruria's Royal Marines would be most eager to participate in such an exchange program with Cazelian Marines. We would like to invite your touring marines to join us in Atruria to attend Royal Marine training courses and exercises, particularly on Amphibious, Mountain, and Arctic warfare, in which we consider ourselves specialists, and possibly to test their hand in the Royal Marines' Commando Course. We would be interested in otherwise exchanging thoughts on amphibious warfare and doctrine, tactics, equipment, and advice with your own Marines. We look forward to this exchange, in the hopes that we can mutually improve the security of both our nations and our relations with one another.

Official Leocardian Response
The many years of Leocardian and Cazelian battles and tough consequences for both sides has created an era of indecisive wars. Based on the Greali invasion, we have still yet to apologize, though the memorial stadium is being built. Leocardia invites the Cazelian marines in hopes that we can start afresh in our relations just after the nuclear war. The marines are invited to march through KiK City, capital of Leocardia, and be allowed to stay for weeks and the allowance to mingle with Leocardian military personnels.

Your decision is at your choice.

The C-130 touched down on the Kahanistani tarmac and halted itself at the end of the runway.

The Kahanistanis were most likely expecting a well equipped, well organized force of elite soldiers that were the bane of the Londinians.
What they got was a ten man squad of soldiers that looked like US soldiers in Vietnam. The men wore a flat Grey BDU, only two of them wearing Kevlar vests, and only three of them wearing helmets. the most common was just a BDU with a jungle hat and black boots. The men carried HK-417 rifles.

Jackal stopped in his tracks and looked at the entourage of officials staring at him. The rest of the squad had the same thoughts and emotions; namely embarrassment, surprise and fear of looking bad in front of another nation's leader. Vasquez however remained cool and kept calm. He was first to say anything after the awkward silence
"I'm Lt. Allen Vasquez, from the 53rd Armored. These are my men." He elbowed Jackal in the side so that he would speak
"Sgt. Jack Henderson, 53rd Armored, at your service" Said Jackal Firmly
"Lance Sgt. Gold Samuel Gardener, 72nd MEF, at your service"
"Sgt. Major William Elias, 501st Airborne, at your service"
The remaining men states their names and ranks. Yet again Vasquez continued the conversation, looking at the Kahanistani President
"I assume you're President Sklenova, It's an honor to meet you ma'am"

A slender, pretty blonde woman in her early 30's dressed in a business suit nodded her head and smiled. She extended her hand to the Cazelian. "I am," she said. She proceeded to introduce the three generals with her.

"This is General Igor Kaselev, Director of Military Intelligence," she said, nodding to a tall Semitic man in his late 30's, about 6'3" and 200 pounds. This man didn't look like he would be doing a lot of talking. He wore a black uniform with several medals and rank insignia on his shoulders. "This is General Aaron Granson, who is in charge of formulating a new training regimen for the troops." She nodded to a shorter black man in his 50's. "And this is Lieutenant General Cynthia Kane." The President indicated a tall woman with greying hair, about 60. "She will be devising new doctrine at the higher levels of our forces.

"These NCO's will train alongside you," said Granson. He gestured to six noncoms, four men and two women, ranging in age from around 25 to around 45. "They will observe your soldiers, and you can attend one of the training sessions, too."

Vasquez shook her hand "I thank your for hosting us. If you need anything military related, our Government will happily help."
He turned towards the noncoms, inspecting each one thoroughly
"Excellent shape" He was determined to test these soldiers as if he was at basic back in the IDC
"Soldier! What branch are you with!"

22-04-2008, 06:21
The soldiers, ranging in rank from Corporal to Sergeant Major, sounded off with their branch as addressed.

"Army, Sir!"

After the brief inspection, they introduced themselves. The most senior of the NCO's, a robust North African man in his 40's, handled the introductions.

"Sergeant Major Tom Slade," he said to the Cazelian officer. "These are Master Sergeant Justine Lang, Sergeant First Class Max Woods, Sergeant Jack Clark, Corporal Eleanor Wade, and Corporal Brian Jones."

OOC: I think it'd be an idea for you to do seperate threads for each nation you're visiting, and do the RPs in there, using this as a sign-up thread of sorts. Think how Neo-Ixania did his threads.

IC: Alfegos High Command welcomes any visit made by the Caezilian marines, and as such are proposing a 1-week visit to Station Luna II in the Moon Mountains of Alfegos. Here you will stay with Alfegan counter-parts, the aero-marines, and undergo a crash-course in airship-based warfare, ending with a combat display showcasing the talents these marines will have learnt.
Flights will be taken direct into the airbase at the station.

But then, what could be better than hands-on training?

Animarnia would like to formally invite Cazelian Marines to take part in our Elite-training program for Special Air Service personnel, which is said by many to be the most brutal and difficult training in the Nova region. The SAS Training will include Six months of ‘Basic’ and Six months of ‘Advanced’ Training. Equipment will be provided for all participants though they will have to first complete an eight week Royal Marine Training Program; we suggest a twelve-man squad maximum though we should tell you that training has a 98% Failure rate.

"Have you ever killed a man before?" He queried, moving himself quite close to the Kahanistani man

Woods nodded. He was a rough-looking Arabian man of about 35, with many lethal-looking combat wounds, including a jagged-looking scar at his neck. "Yes, Sir. Six confirmed Doomani kills, one Whyatican, one Freekish, Sir."
Cazelia

"You've killed a Freek? That's one nice acheivment you've got there soldier. How'd you score one like that?"
Jackal looked at the man in awe after hearing that he had killed a Freekish soldier
"Sam, you hear this guy? He said he's killed a Freek!" He whispered

"Only one, Sir," Max said modestly. "Three hundred metres with an M-16 assault rifle. I was a Sergeant at the time. My squad had been killed by mortar fire. It was do or die. I sighted the Sentinel company commander and shot him. Three rounds in the head and he went down. While their second in command was being informed, I fled with the twenty civilians who survived the raid. Sir."

OOC: I'm going to start another thread and continue the RP from there

[OOC: Sure. Start the thread with the reply to this.]

The cargo lifter glided down into a large military base surrounded by a booming city, the largest in Kahanistan, even larger than the capital of New Masada with its population of 40 million.

Camp Beta was a huge army encampment. Unlike the surrounding city, the base looked like it was on a constant war footing, surrounded by trenches, machine gun nests, sniper holes, and concertina wire, some with signs reading "DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!" in large red letters, with similar warnings in Arabic, Hebrew, and Latin, the other official languages of Kahanistan. Anti-aircraft guns were also mounted at strategic locations. There was even air cover from a nearby Air Force base.

As the supplies were carted off the plane, Sergeant Major Slade gestured to a battalion of soldiers carrying Aequatian-designed G101 carbines, G100 full-length assault rifles, and G106 sniper rifles.

"That's the battalion we'll be training. We've got a lot of domestic production licences for this gear, mainly Aequatian, some Sumerian, a few Lyran," said Slade. "We'll be on an infantry unit, and we're just training grunts, but we're trying to give the lower-ranking officers an idea of how infantry and armour and artillery and choppers fit together into an army."

Sumerian-designed Ubara Tirak ("Timber Wolf") tanks, designated as the "זאב מצוי" ("Ze'ev Metzvi," Hebrew for timber wolf) in Kahanistanian service, patrolled the perimeter and the areas behind the fortifications, their 86-ton masses generating a frightful roar as they scooted by at cruising speed. Artillery sat at the rear lines, as if expecting an attack at any moment.

The Kahanistanians introduced the Cazelians to two men. "Major Francis Denton," said Granson, nodding to a tall, burly man with a thick beard about 35 years old. "And this is Major Dean Nelson." Nelson was badly disfigured, with much of his hair missing and what looked like several plates in his head and back, and he looked like he had some kind of machinery wired up to his body. He probably wasn't any older than 35, but looked to be around 80 years old and seemed like he was going to shut down any minute.
