Yep, this time the Ryous didn't start this one. It whole thing was started by a City-State known as Valtican City. This was all because of The Ryous growing in Power (and also because they surported Rights for furries.) and also The Pope had wanted the Ryous to bow to his 'Power'. So the Ryous said no and he declared a Crusade against The Ryous.

The Ryous Countered-declared War, not only on The Valtican, but on The Republic of Roma V. In Short, this war was against The Romans. The War against Roma V and The Valtican would be long, but The Ryous will fight to the end.

Emperor Quaeus frowned as the news had reached his desk. He sighed and looked out the window of his office. Ryou was large, but it took more than numbers to win a battle and that was something the Romans knew and did well in their past. Perhaps the spirit of the conquerer Caesar would guide his generals to victory. He began drafting up a letter in his head he would send to his allies..

Call For Aid!
I regret to inform you, the leaders of the nations to which we, Roma V, have allied with that the warmongering nation of The Ryou Black Islands has declared war on us for housing the nation of Valtican City within our borders, their main target in this war. We are unfortunately caught in the middle of this conquest but we will prevail. However the Ryous have on their side a massive army. Ours is old and small. Tactics is the key however we still need the power of our allies to help stand before our foe.

I, Emperor Quaeus, humbly ask for the aid from The Empire of Neo-Ixania, The Democratic Republic of Burridgeia, The Holy Empire of Zaheran, and The Empire of Kose and The Turkomans to aid us in our conflict. If you are a nation who houses embassies within Roma V we welcome you to bring temporary aid to our side for the conflict.

This will not be an easy war. Few are. But through the strength of Roman arms and our allies we can send Ryou back to her islands with her tail between her legs.

The Ryou were Prepareing for The War. First off all, they planned for a naval War in the Mediterranean Sea, to keep the Roman Navy busy. To keep fears that this was a Imperialisic War away, She declared that all Territory taken from The Romans would be given back to them........If They won the war that is.

The First Target was to be the first Campaign of The War. a Invasion of Sardina would be the first step into the Fight agaisnt The Romans and The Valtican. The Ryous were still Moblizeing the Ground forces for the Invasion, but The Navy wwas ready.

An Open Declaration Of Anastasia II, the Empress of Ixania and the Grand Duchess of Hanslow

It has come to my attention that the Ryou Black Islands, a nation often scorned and derided for its activities on the world stage, has begun plans for the invasion of Roma V. While it is not my intention to involve our nation in this scuffle between the two nations through the sending of soldiers, Ixania shall come to the aid of Roma V by means of housing displaced persons and by offering itself as the host of a diplomatic meeting between the two nations in order to find a resolution in the event that the leaders of both nations desire peace. Ixania shall keep its diplomat within the confines of the embassy until further notice; and we have begun preparations to mobilize our Empire's armies. If Ryou attacks our diplomat or the embassy; or begins plans for the mobilization of its Empress' armies for an attack on Ixania or its colonies, then I shall order appropiate action in order to secure the safety and rights of the people I govern. It is my desire that both sides come to a quick end to this un-necessary war.

It would not be a problem for the Ixanian Empire to host diplomatic talks between yourself and the Empress of the Ryou; depending on whether or not she desires peace rather than bloodshed. We will also accommodate Roman refugees until they are able to return to their homes.

Meanwhile, the Shanderan navy was also deploying. It would be days before they arrived, so the Shanderan air force would lead the way. Hundreds of F2M2 Talon fighters and F3M1 Phoenix interceptors made their way south to land at Roman airbases. They were armed with powerful anti-ship or air to air missiles, and would defend the Romans against the furry scum until the navy arrived to take the fight to the yiffing abominations.

Tailing behind the fighters were the transports and bombers, carrying Shanderan ground troops, armor, and artillery. The bombers were also armed with anti-ship missiles, but the larger payloads of the huge planes allowed for far more powerful missiles with longer ranges.

The furries wanted to fight. They would soon be fighting for their lives.

While the government of Imota supports equal rights for furries and other anthromorphs and disagreed with the hard-line stance taken by Valtican City prior to the commencement of hostilities, we cannot stand by idly as the Republic of Roma V (which we see as an innocent third party) is threatened with war. "This meeting is in session. Admiral Daven, what do you have for us?" asked the president to a admiral sitting 3 seats away.

"The Ryou navy is massing around 400 ships at their main naval base, Port Dego la Banzai." said Admiral Daven, looking a little worried.

Suddenly everyone was speaking at once, and President Watson had to calm them down."Quiet please. We can handle the Ryous. Now, whats the nearest naval fleet to Roma V?"

"The 5th Naval Fleet. It can reach Roma V 12 hours before the Ryou fleet, but its smaller then the Ryou fleet this is massing. We were going to suggest the 3rd Naval Fleet, but that won't reach Roma V before the Ryous do." said Rear Admiral Hast.

"Send the fleet now. Admiral Sharpe's 5th Naval Fleet must get to Roma V as soon as possible. As for ground forces, I am aware that we have already sent four Infantry divisions to Roma V, one of those divisions will be placed on Sardinia, and another on Sicily. The remaining two divisions will be placed on the mainland itself. The 5th Naval Fleet carries a couple of marine divisions, so the marines will have to be placed on the mainland as soon as they reach Roma V. The 3rd Fleet must also be sent as quickly as possible."

"Yes sir. We can send another armor division to the mainland by plane." said one of the generals.

"Send the armor division. We need a lot of armor in Roma V." said the President

An aide came in. "Mr. President? A message came from the 5th Naval Fleet, it says that they are on their way, and the media is outside." said the aide.

Several senior senators of Parliament have given the State Department authorization to contact The Ryou Black Islands under secret conditions.

The Colonial Empire of The Royal Code is willing to assist the Black Island nation with military action. However, the royal subjects of the CERC are concerned about Greal's entry into the war. Having fought on the same side as Greal in a war long ago, the royal subjects are hesitant to cut into this conflict so aggressively with an old ally on the field.

In spite of this, upon the authorization of the Black Island government, as Royal Troops deploy, the Parliament and State Department have made it very clear that Royal Forces are not to be sent to areas to do battle with the forces of Greal (except in defensive situations only). The CERC can support the Black Island govt. with money and weapons to fight Greal, but cannot openly declare war on said nation.

Upon your return telegram, the Parliament will vote on war declarations.

Though we do not recognize the Pope of Valtican City, we urge you as an ally to back down and seek diplomatic relations. If you do not do so, the Indonesian States will withdraw from the Confederacy of Island Nations. We wish to not go to war at the moment, as the Valtican City has done nothing wrong to us. Unless this small city-state somehow attacks my nation, my soldiers will merely be on stand-by. Again, we wish to seek a peaceful resolution first. I side with Neo-Ixania.

Allies were coming from every corner of the globe to aid them. Surely Ryou wouldn't pursue this war any further. But until that realization came to them, preparations were to be made. Roman waters were constantly being patrolled by submarines, and patrol ships were dotting the water with mines. Back on the beaches of their islands, the beautiful beaches looked like they had reverted to their appearence during World War II. With hedgehogs filling the beach's shallow waters and some of its shore. Anti-tank mines were dug into the sand and lightly dusted to hide them. M109 howitzers were strategically placed for bombarding the shore should the Ryous make it that far. Mortars were hidden in the brush atop cliffs. M2 Brownings sat in the windows of evacuated homes that sat near the beach. Most civilians had been ferried off the islands to the mainlands to avoid casualties however some could not be convinced and instead took up arms on their own property.

War was upon them, but the Legion had slept long enough. Finally awakened after thousands of years of rest, the all mighty and conquering Roman Legion smelt war on horizon and was ready to face it.

The Homefront was an area that no one would want to invade.

Fearing Invasion by The enemy, The Ryous had turned their nation into a Fortress. everything was EMP shielded, Patrols were all over Ryou Territorial waters to make sure no enemy subs, nor enemy fleets would go undetected, Any out of place bouy would be destroyed, in case thet were Jammer Bouys.

The Islands had AA Defenses going up all over the place, along with Anti-Missile Defenses. Shore Batteries and Missile Launchers were ready for any fight.

In The Empire, a Draft was started to bost the Army and marines up. The Empire was to grow The Army to a Large Number; 20 Million Troops. Factories and Shipyards were working 24 hours a day, No Breaks but lunch breaks, day and Night Shifts, no Holidays, and Much Higher Pay then in peacetime.

even Politicans were getting into The war. One Senator, a Neko female, gave her Human husband a Dress saying "Join The Army or wear this Dress!" He joined The Army.

Gun Sales were going up as people were being ready to fight a House to House fight if the Islands were Invaded.

(OOC: Uh, what? There's no plan to invade you even drafted yet. You've already acquired defenses from a larger nation than yourself. There's no credible threat to your home front. In fact, the only place any invasion plans exist are in my leader's inebriated brain.

More to the point, the entire U.S. military is 1.5 million, and you're only four times as large as the US - meaning an appropriate military size for your country assuming you have similar values is something like 6 million. And you're expecting me to believe you drafted up 20 million people from nothing?

Also, everything is EMP-shielded? Seriously? Do you even know how EMP-shielding works?

The cold had set in hard this winter. Beth harbor had to be cut twice a week to prevent it from freezing over completely. Coast Guard Cutter crews worked day and night to maintain the docks for merchant and military shipping.

Such hardships did not slow the advance of The Royal war machine.

Far out to sea, diverted from other hotspots, Battle Cluster Sierra-Tango turned about 270 degrees to head for the Ryou Black Islands. A week's worth of solid sailing lay ahead to reach the islands.

Already gathered from a previous deployment, the leaders of the royal military saw their opportunity for fame and fortune. Behind the lead battle groups, more Grand Fleet and High Seas Fleet ships would surely follow.

The CERC had played it's first piece in this global chess game. Her fleet sailed to protect her ally. Her army was on-call for deployment. Her air force only a few hour's away from offensive strikes against her enemies.

Dictatator Durant was about ready to have a heart attack. The third war in which Miroxia would be fighting in this present age. First the Hurfdurfistani Civil War, soon following, the war: Operation: Miroxian Defence. Now Greston is allowing Miroxia to join the Ryou-Roman War. Durant was helping a friend and offered to help, but let's face it, he was about to die! He picked up the phone and dialed Captain James Deroid of the 3rd Regiment (the 1st and Second fighting in the other 2 wars). "James," he said. "This is Durant Adams. We are to stop at the Grestonian Colony of Taeshaet to get supplies and join the Ryou-Roman War. Are you up for it?" James was more than ready. "Yeah, we're ready!" With that, they huing up. James had been waiting forever to go to war, and just recently promoted at age 22, he was ready to shoot.

OOC: First off, don't get all huffy and say this is a god mode, when Roma first popped up we signed a pact where he became a vassal of mine. The pact was broken but troops still stayed in the area so I have a small military prescence there. Also Miroxia remember during the brunch thing we had it was a half an hour trip, it isn't much longer then an hour trip.

The defences were lowered and the Miroxian fleet was allowed clearence for landing and refueling. It was prethought out before hand about having the Miroxians help with the Grestonians supplying them some what.

Rellington Port had become filled with military ships coming and going, being shipped off to go to the aid of Roma. It wasn't a steady fleet but it would turn into one for all of the ships stopping at Rellington were leaving to go to Port Sarim where they would take off to Rome.

The gathering fleet consisted of 250 Seastabber battleships, 150 Hermin cruisers, 100 oscars, 40 Zumwalts, and 50 Los Angelas subs.

Holy Eye, Rome, Roma V

It was a small gathering of forces, only about 35,000 infantry men that had dispersed around the Valtican. It became almost like a military camp, willing Valticans allowed the Grestonians to live in their homes. After the word of war they had stopped relaxing in their "foster" homes and started guarding various areas of the city.

The men had Colonel Roger Thachet as their commander and three Colonels, not aligned with the group of soldiers, residing into their ranks. Colonel Richard Fisher, Colonel Adam Ricard, and Colonel Michael Smokes.

They were really authorized to set up anything grand due to security reasons for the war hadn't begun yet but having 35,000 Grestonian Infantry men dispersed thorought the city was good with winning over the locals.

Rellington Port, Taeshaet Territory, Greston

James stepped off the ship at the refueling point. He met with a customs guard and said, "Before we leave, I have orders to meet with Mr. John Batther or the current ruler of Taeshaet. They are from Dictator Durant himself." He then pulled out the official paper Durant had given to him.

Iliek Bishlekov was ready for something like that. He had been staying a port inn farther into the port waiting for the Miroxians. He recieved word about landing so he was driven over there, before the Miroxians requested him.

The custom guard was talking to the Miroxian while an envoy of diplomats, aids, soldiers, intelligence agents, and Secret Service agents walked up from behind. They flashed their badges at the Miroxians and custom guards while Iliek walked foward.

He extended his hand to shake the Miroxian's as he started to speak.

"Mister John Batther is not avialable, but I am the President Governor of this Province and would be glad to speak with you."

James smiled as he said, "We need a brief update on the war, ya know, battles, positions, and what not."

The Imperial Ezaltian Marine Corps was unusual in that, being officially under the Navy's jurisdiction, used naval ranks. By all rights, Humphrey MacTavish should have been a general dressed in red, but tradition dictated that he wear the the dark grey uniform of the Imperial Ezaltian Navy, complete with three thin and one thick gold stripe that made him an admiral. At least he didn't have to wear that ridiculous sword, he thought, taking the offered tea a sergeant-no, petty officer- offered him. He leaned back in his seat as the C-17 began to approach Roma V, or more specifically, the island of Sardinia. The IEMC would be the first, and hopefully last line of defense against the howling Ryou horde.

"Nothing as of yet, mainly just deployments and president bitching and bickering. Greston has some guys in the Valtican but other than that it is it."

"You should meet up with the remaining portion of the fleet at Port Sarim. We already have some going over to Roma, they will be there tomorrow (9:00 PM) or so. My plan is to have them guard the Mediterranean and Sardinia from Ryou tresspassing."

The Imperial Ryou Fleet was in International waters near Africa, near Rhodesian waters, but not entering them. General Naya looked over a Map of Roma V, the enemy Homeland. Since departing, the fleet was just waiting. Naya hated waiting.

The problem was not the fight, The Impeiral Forces would fight to the end. But Where to land in on Sardinia. This was Fusstraiting.

She hoped the problem wouldbe soved soon, even a Neko couldn't stand it.

"Right," he said. "Well, we best get going. Good talking with you." They both shook hands as he boarder the ship. Miroxian forces would have a relaxing trip to Port Sarim.

Then they entered the Strait of Gilbraltar. It was a large fleet, not close to numbering to the one that aided Greal, but big enough. 50 Seastabbers and the Zumwalts detached from the rest of the fleet to hold the Strait, stopping anyone unauthorized from entering.

The rest of the fleet, 200 Seastabbers, 150 Hermin cruisers, 100 Oscars and 50 Los Angelas subs, went towards the rest of Roma V. They started dispersing and landing at various different Sardinian, Sicilian, and Corsican docks and harbors, refueling and then taking off again to patrol the area. With patrol routes they connected Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily with Sardinia having the most protection.

Port Sarim, Taeshaet Territory, Greston

The rest of the fleet, another 100 Seastabbers, 50 Hermins, and 40 Oscars, was waiting to be deployed. They carried the rest of the troops which number up to around 700,000 Grestonian soldiers. Along with those they had tanks of sorts, mainly Jaguars and TM-3s, that were ready to be deployed.

Ryou always bragged off expanding their empire and how great it was but the Grestonian Empire used the Ryou Empire as a shitter.

"Right," he said. "Well, we best get going. Good talking with you." They both shook hands as he boarder the ship. Miroxian forces would have a relaxing trip to Port Sarim.

They were pretending to be a legion, they were on the ship of a legion, they were dressed as a legion, but the thing was they were not. They were the men of the newly established Corsican Guard. It was of numbers of over 50,000 soldiers, all ready to fight to the death against the evil, nazi, hypocritical, facist, communist Ryous. Even better was that there was furries among the ranks of the fighting ones, perfect to get the troops to fight.

That was a stupid move. They immediately went into action. Weapon systems were up in seconds and within minutes they were ready. They needed to outright kill the enemies and fast. What better way than Moskit Missiles?

So they prepared, they aimed, they got read, and they fired, over 10,000 Moskits flew from their fleet aimed at the Ryous. Moskits were amazing weapons. They were the fastest of their type, the only real time to stop them was when they were fired. They went from the ships, traveled their distance, and landed in less than a 19 second time period, it was how they were designed.

It would be extremely hard for the Ryous to block it easily without dieing themselves so they decided another volley would be best. They wanted blood and nothing short of all out death of the Ryous would be acceptable. They started firing Mark 50 Deck Torpedoes into the water where they took off and tried to find their place in the enemy ships. They thought the Moskits were over kill, but overkill was good kill so just for good measures they fired another volley. It would be enjoyable to watch.

The Greal fleet was surprised by the volley of the missiles, but they waited, because the Ryous would probably suffer from the massive bombardment of the Moskits. The Greal fleet waited for the wounded Ryous to strike back. The battleships of the Greal fleet waited to pounce on the enemy.

Greal troops on Sardinia now were excited, the shooting had begun.

That was a stupid move. They immediately went into action. Weapon systems were up in seconds and within minutes they were ready. They needed to outright kill the enemies and fast. What better way than Moskit Missiles?

So they prepared, they aimed, they got read, and they fired, over 10,000 Moskits flew from their fleet aimed at the Ryous. Moskits were amazing weapons. They were the fastest of their type, the only real time to stop them was when they were fired. They went from the ships, traveled their distance, and landed in less than a 19 second time period, it was how they were designed.

It would be extremely hard for the Ryous to block it easily without dieing themselves so they decided another volley would be best. They wanted blood and nothing short of all out death of the Ryous would be acceptable. They started firing Mark 50 Deck Torpedoes into the water where they took off and tried to find their place in the enemy ships. They thought the Moskits were over kill, but overkill was good kill so just for good measures they fired another volley. It would be enjoyable to watch.

The Fleet was half Destroyed, The Superdreadnought that was The Flagship was Burning as the attack came.

Those that stay behind, the Destroyers soon decided to kind of launch their own Missiles, 560 Gothic Missiles, same as the ones used by Stevid. These weer not like other Gothics...These were riged and had a surprise in them. If Flak fire hit them they would go off and relesse The Surpirse.

"Oh my god!" shouted Colonel Brandon Kahan. He was commanding the Atreidondian marines on Sardinia. Stationed on a mountiain on the west coast, he had a clear view of the battle through his electro telescope. "They must've hit a Super Dreadnaught powder keg!" He exclaimed as the flames and smoke rose in the distance. "Keep those guns ready men, we may get to use them yet." he said to the artilliary gunners. The marines were getting anxious.

In times past, we met representatives of your god, and knew that he was strong, perhaps even possessing strength to challenge the greatest of our gods, Ormarl.

It is also known, that in the time of the Godswar, many of the animal gods rose up against Ormarl and his kin, choosing to try and dislodge man from his rulership of the world. Ormarl slew some of them, such as Vaddag, the Dragon God, and forced others to bend to his will, like Armeia, the Cow Goddess. Many of the animal gods fled into the wilderness, and Ormarl declared a peace, so long as they did not enter the lands of man.

It is seen here, though, that animals seek once more to reign over men. This may not be so, for, even though you worship a strange god, he is a god of man, and not of animal birth.

Cease-Fire, Head for The Comoros at Once.

"RETREAT!" She told the acting Admiral, as they watched The Superdreadnought sink into the sea.

The Greal fleet now moved toward the retreating Ryou fleet, but they were halted by orders not to leave the strait. Crewmen were cheering that they had lost the short fight between Greston and Ryou.

Council was convened. Each of the Kings, sitting in a semicircle on the floor, around Storm Emperor Vargast. He sat on a simple wooden chair, fashioned by his own hand. When men met for purposes of war, if one was greater than all the others, he alone would be entitled to a seat.

Vargast spoke. "Many years ago, Ormarl took up his bright blade, and drove the animals that would not serve him from his lands. It seems, in these days, the animals of the woods have, it seems, mated with humans, and these offspring seek to rule true men and women. It is an ill thing, and it can only have come of Chaos."

One of the seven spoke, her voice high and lilting. "Yet, Storm Emperor, is it not true that many men have decried these offspring, and named them abomination? Have they not slain them, and driven them from their lands?"

"It is true. Yet the ancient laws say that there may be no breeding between animal and man. The animal-gods do not wish it, and neither do our gods. Thus, only fell Chaos could have engineered such an act. To destroy them may be cruel, yet it is the only way to keep the ancient pacts."

The speaker was Lishna, King of the Ekhar tribe.

She nodded. "It is true, Storm Emperor."

"Then are there any disagreements as to the nature of these creatures, and their ill intent?"

No word came from the circle.

He smiled. "It is well. Therefore, we must send men and ships to aid these people."

Lishna spoke again. Generally, if the Kings were in agreement, a single one of them would speak for all. It seemed they had agreed before coming to see him.

"It is the time of raids and war, my Emperor. We of the Ekhar can pledge half a million in muster, and perhaps five hundred ships, among them five carriers, and ten battleships."

Vargast smiled. "Have you contacted your priests of Rangdoon? What of the artillery, the jet fighters?"

"Much artillery, and five hundred fighter-planes. Perhaps a thousand, if we are given time."

He looked around the circle. "The Ketlavase will pledge two hundred thousand good weaponthanes, a thousand ships, although among them only five carriers, and five battleships. Many of our ships are in port yet. Four hundred planes."

"The Vermurdun shall honour you, Storm Emperor! Six hundred thousand men, a hundred ships, among them five carriers. We shall also bring six hundred planes, and further pledge to outdo the Ekhar in any endeavour they should bring!"

The Uinatar and Rangi spoke as one, and they were the greatest tribes. "Together, my Emperor, we have brought a million men, and a thousand ships, and five thousand fighters. Our alliance has led us to believe we must fight as one."

Lastly, the Zevurr, least liked among clans. "My Emperor, we can bring but a hundred thousand men, and a hundred ships. However, we have stolen many planes in thieving raids on the Rangi and Uinatar. We may send a thousand."

Therefore, Storm Emperor Vargast was pleased. He spoke. "None among you are Battle-Kings, thus, I give you leave to tend to my people as I take my leave. King Lishna, as you were the first to speak, and the most eager, you shall be my loyal thane to defend my lands when I am gone. I grant the power of Ormarl's authority to her, and, should we come under attack by the animal-men, or their allies, you may use all you have to drive them from our steads. I shall lead this fleet to the lands of men, and there we shall destroy those who threaten Ormarl's will."

So it was that they set off. They would come in through the sea-passage known as the Gibraltar Strait.

A single message was sent to the Romans.


In the name of the Gods, I greet you.

I have spoken to you before, Emperor of the Romans, and so I must tell you of our muster. We are bringing two million, four hundred thousand men, from all the clans. They are warriors without peer, born for battle, seeking only an honourable death in the name of their god.

We bring ships enough to carry them on, as well as nearly three thousand ships of war, though most are not the grand carriers and battleships your people will know so well. Many missiles are carried, blessed by the Forge-God Rangdoon himself, though we bring none of the death-fire in missiles that would lay waste to your lands for eternity.

We bring perhaps seven thousand planes of war, equipped only to seek other planes and bring them low. They are not for the destroying of ships on the water, for we feel that the air shall bring more horrors than the sky, and many bombers are contained on the carriers we shall bring.

It would take some days to arrive, but the buzzing cloud of fighters would arrive within hours, unlike the fleet. They would land in Roma, and serve to defend the lands against any raids that it might face. The jet-thanes of the sky were the proudest of the Ormarli warriors, for they alone could keep the fires of other planes falling from the sky and destroying the brave warriors of the ground.

The cease fire between Roma and the furries had been a surprise, but it was a moot point.

Bryn Shander and the AFA had not agreed to any cease fire, and their business with The Ryou Black Islands was far from finished.

One by one, the Shanderan aircraft descended to just above the water in preparation for the attack. Several hundred strong, the jets and their payloads skimmed the waves as they closed in. The horizon would mask their arrival until well beyond the point at which the missiles would be launched, and at that point the aircraft could turn around and RTB.

"Dionysus Four, winchester! Bugging out!" came the radio message from one of the pilots of Dionysus Team, one of Bryn Shander's elite fighter units.

All across the formation the ASMs were being launched towards the enemy fleet, their parent aircraft turning and burning towards their airfield immediately after.

The enemy had forgot That the Ryou Imperial navy had made for more Advance Radar befor the war started.

Once The Missiles were Detected, Anti-Missile Defenses started but fireing against the enemy Missiles. but a few got though and 7 Destroyers and 8 Frigates were hit, along with 20 Transports.

Ryou Satellites showed who the Attackers were. They had tried to force The Cease-Fire to end. well......They were not wanted.

The Anti-Furry Alliance is a coalition of a number of nations. In order to properly place said accusations on them we need to know which one has broken the cease-fire and attacked you. Once you identified the nation, we will bring them before the International Criminal Court for "Killing a surrendered combatant".

Hearing of this, the fleet did not stop. Rather, it sent a message to the Shanderans.


Men of Bryn Shander, their Kings, their lords.

In the name of the Seven Great Gods, I greet you. It is with a weary heart that I have heard of this "cease-fire". Are the Romans your lords, and may so command you to do as they will? No, they are but men, and it was dishonourable of them to try. You are men who fight according to your own honour. The great insult given to mankind has not been answered by the Romans, and we have cause to believe them lacking in courage.

The animal-creatures should be answered with blades, until they acknowledge the rightful place of Ormarl's creatures, men, as first among all. It is with shame we admit we have set out to defend the steads of the Romans, and we had not the judgment to understand their cowardice. They shall see no aid from our thanes. It is so that we offer our blades to you, for we have seen little of you, but you have risked your lives for your honour even when your allies abandon you. This gives you great worthiness, as Ormarl has decreed.

Should it be required to burn the steads of the servants of the animal-gods, so that they will no more bother the realms of men, we shall aid you.

-Nearing the Strait-
The TLA fleet had come to a halt outside the sea. As stated in the original message. It is from there they gave a sigh of relief of the Ceasefire. Relief that was short lived when an officer ran up from the Intel room.

"Sir the retreating Ryou fleet has been engaged by one of the defenders despite the ceasefire!!"
"WHAT?" Serov shouted, "This is an outrage, violating all articles of war... I bet they had no intention of defending Roma, they were just going to let it be bombed to hell while they attacked the Ryous."
"That may be but we have no proof, for all we know this is an action of Rogue Aircraft." Said the secondary commander, Robyn Beowulf.
"I know and all we got is a handful of VTOLs to engage them." Serov said angerly. "Sir the council would never allow..." Beowulf began, "Yes they would, this is a class 2 war and Commanders have the right to act in response to such actions." Serov stopped and turned to look out the front of the ship. "Tell HQ of the situation, tell them I'm enacting Protocal 33#."

"Yes Sir."
"Robyn, contact the Kirovs, I want them to analyze the satellite images and get a lock on wherever those craft land, I want them to get a missile lock on those ships and only those ships."

That done he picked up a phone and entered a quick code. "Defense control, I need the 42s to move up into the standard sky guard formation to protect the Ryou's at the strait, and get those planes ready while you're at it."

That done, he went to write out a message to announce to the other combatants.

~Message from The Lone Alliance Fleet Command~
The planes that recently broke the ceasefire are as of now wanted for war crimes, as such, we demand that they surrender to third parties, or cease attacks at once. We further warn them that we came here to guard non-combatants against unwarrented attacks. Attacks on a ceasefired enemy are within that ruling. STAND DOWN!

OOC: Please. Don't assume I lack knowledge because the people I play are rather rudimentary in their view of the world. Rather, the idea here is not that my people are fighting furries, but rather advocates of the animal-gods and their followers - anyone who supports them. Although my people are not of yet reconciled with the idea that humans would voluntarily support furries doesn't mean I'm personally unaware of the situation.

A nearby Dingo Squadron was late on arriving at the engagement. They soared across the warships as the ceasefire echoed into their radio's.

"Bit late, Sky Commander Lee," said the co-pilot.

"Doesn't matter James. Have the squadron fan out and find out why some of those warships still in battle station's," ordered Lee as he soared across an aircraft carrier.

"This is Sky Commander Lee to Roma V Forces in the area. Sorry for being late but the fuelines were down over Israel. Can you brief us of the current situation?" asked Lee.

The Dingo Squadron of fifty fighters watched unidentify fighter planes land on their carrier's. The squadron formed in battle formation and circled around a deserted airfield which they could use for the time being. They landed their Dingo's on the ground and waited for the radio to come alive.

Unfortunately for The Lone Alliance and The Ryou Black Islands, international law did not work that way. A cease fire is an agreement between two parties, and the AFA was not represented at the peace conference where the cease fire between Roma and Ryou was drafted. More importantly, retreating had never in the history of warfare counted as surrendering. In fact, in almost all cases a retreating force was persued by their opponents and attacked without hesitation. No, there was no crime, and there would be no arrests or trials.

For the pilots of the Shanderan attack force, the flight back to their airfields was a short one. Upon landing, they were quickly rearmed and refueled for another sortie. This time, they were armed with air to air missiles as well as larger, faster anti-ship missiles that would skim the sea and only appear on radar once they crested the horizon ten seconds from impact.

We repeat STAND DOWN, you are putting Roma at risk by attempting to restart the war. Will someone rein in one of your allies before they do something stupid!!!

"Satellite photos have tracked the planes to here," The intel officer said showing up the image on screen.
"Good continuing tracking them." Serov said, "and ready a wall, I can think of only one response that those maniacs would give us."
"Yes Sir."

OOC: You see a funny thing about those almost touching sea missiles... You put something between them and the ships targeted... They tend to hit that instead . And I happen to have a bunch of landing craft on that Transport Dock. I might also put a hospital ship in the way...

A picture of a burning sinking unarmed Hospital ship with only HUMANS on board would make a wonderful image to show about the AFA when it's spread all over International Incidents.

Miroxian troops landed in Port Sardin later than usual. They were soon off to Valtican City.

"Cast the bones."

Carved pieces of animal bone, each torn from the body of a great beast by the bravest of men, clattered on the table of the carrier's small captain's room, thousands of runes carved into the sides, each one coloured with a different kind of blood.

"They spell dishonour and death."

"For us?"

"No. The dishonour comes from the others."

"The so-called cease-fire?"

"No, Storm Emperor. Someone in the battle is planning to dishonour their very name, so that they may dirty the name of their enemies."

Vargast spat. "Filth. Does it implicate true warriors, or are the enemies you speak of being justly punished?"

The god-speaker peered down at the bone. "True warriors, Vargast."

The Storm Emperor brooded over the bones, wishing that he had been blessed with the ability to read them. "What is the nature of their plot?"

"I do not know. The bones merely say that there is dishonour here, and it shall be conducted as so to besmirch the good name of the brave."

Vargast shook his head. "We shall be wary of all we hear, then. I thank you, god-speaker. For your service-"

Vargast tossed an iron ring to the god-speaker, roughly slipped from one of his fingers. "It was slicked in the blood of the rebel who Ormarl himself slew. It has great potency with the gods. I have no need to speak to them, and so I have chosen to give it to one who did me a service. Mind well your duties to the Ormarli, and it shall serve you well."

The god-speaker bowed his head and departed. "If you should call upon me again, Vargast, my name is Akathar."

Vargast laughed. "It is well, Akathar. Brave men speak my name without fear, for they know I hold no anger in being named. I tire of the currying of favor, from time to time - I have been too long from warriors."

Still, he puzzled. Who would have the depravity to change an honorable attack into something differently, merely so that they could foul the name of their foes?

Lee looked around as the warships weren't firing at each other but there was a strong message playing on all frequencies.

"Setup communication with the warships and increase the radar range so we watch for any aircraft passing over us," ordered Lee.

The last of the sixty Dingo Fighter's landed at the airfield as they watched the warships, hospital ships and transport ships moving around not firing a single round.

'Cease-fire, but someone has broken the cease fire,' thought Lee to himself.

What was left of The Invasion force came to The Comoros, a Rypu Colony. Safe from any attack since like The Home Islands, they had Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Missile Defenses, early Warning Radar and over 500,000 Imperial Troops.

Isabella decided that a peace treaty with Roma V and it;s Non-AFA allies would be best, But she would never have any peace with The AFA, they had dishonored The Cease-Fire and had no Honor.

Isabella hope not to have another Fordock, so She was to ask Stevid to Host Treaty Talks to end The War once and for all.

Before the Ryou force could come to The Comoros, however, they would have faced one more attack from the Shanderan aircraft before leaving the effective combat range of the jets operating from Roma. The Ships were Damaged, 20 destroyers Destroyed and One Carrier sunk. But the attckes had been shown to be Shanderan Fighters...........This was all the Ryous needed to show Roma V.

The Ryous wanted a Trial, not only of The Attackers, but their Commanders and The Leader of Bryn Shander. They wanted their heads on a silver plate.


Or they would make sure that The AFA would be Disbanded, one way or another.

"Sky Commander Lee, you and your squadron are free to land at the nearest airbase to refuel. Colonnello Claudius Tenteranus is the current commanding officer of the Sardinian forces and wishes to speak with you upon landing, over."

Meanwhile on the ground...
Colonnello Claudius Tenteranus sat in the meeting room at the end of the large, gray table by himself. The only other people in the room were the two guards at the door. He sighed and looked up at one. "I want all the commanding officers of every nation that come to our aid to report to this room immediately. That's an order." The soldier snapped to attention and replied, "Sir yes sir!" before quickly leaving.

Lee watched the fighters engage the warships from the radar. Shanderan aircraft had attacked a fleet of warships retreating and ordered a cease-fire line.

"That is people without honour," said Lee to his pilots.

The airfield was quiet as Lee watched the aircraft landing and fueling trucks coming towards the fighter jets. The jump jets sat quietly down as a jeep pass to them.

A young private approached Sky Marshall Lee and came to attention, saluting him. "Sir, Colonnello Tenteranus wants to see you sir. In that building.", he said as pointed behind him at the command center.

-Alantic Side of the Stait-
Since the Sea skimming missiles were mostly outside of any Intercept range, the Missile defenses were never able to activate. But through it all, Spy Satellites showed every play by play. Someone is going to regret their actions, and it won't be TLA.

Meanwhile on the ground...
Colonnello Claudius Tenteranus sat in the meeting room at the end of the large, gray table by himself. The only other people in the room were the two guards at the door. He sighed and looked up at one. "I want all the commanding officers of every nation that come to our aid to report to this room immediately. That's an order." The soldier snapped to attention and replied, "Sir yes sir!" before quickly leaving.

A Legionnaire Armored Transport pulled up before the Roman command center. Weary from the bumpy roads, Colonel Brandon Kahan stepped out of the humvee like vehicle. We was accompanied by two Atreidondian marines, and was holding a locked and steel armored breifcase. He stepped inside an said to Colonnello Claudius Tenteranus, "I am Colonel Brandon Kahan, commanding officer of Atreidondian ground forces here on Sardinia. I regret that Vice Admiral Vincient Giovanni cannot be here in person, but-" he pointed to his briefcase, "- we can set up a satellite link to the Atreidondian flagship's communication center. I would like permission to set that up, and for my marines to stay throughout the meeting"

"Permission granted", said the Colonnello with a dismissive wave of his hand.

Despite numerous snags, delays, and parliamentary bickering, the Third Combined Arms Force departed Imotan waters and began their week long journey towards Roma V. The admiral who had been called out of retirement to lead the force stood on the bridge of his flagship, the battleship Amagasaki, and watched as the fleet got under way.

Various combat support, fueling, and early warning aircraft

One by one, the Greal divisions left Roma V, and the islands of Sicily and Sardinia. The Greal naval fleet, however, stayed.

OOC: Ouch.....that was embarassing. Here's to peace, eh?

IC: The admiral sighed, half disappointed at not being to participate in the campaign, half relieved that the situation had ended without bloodshed for his side.

"All units, we're going home. Make your marks for Shin-Kyouto."

The fleet turned around and began the short trek back to Imota.

As with the forces from Greal, the Shanderan forces also packed up and left. Flying north over Europe towards the Arctic circle, they left Roma behind. The furries had been dealt a major blow, and would likely not be able to throw any godless weight around for quite some time.

"Interesting way of saying hello," said Lee as James came beside him.

The two pilots wondered over to the command centre as they watched more aircraft landing. The control tower looked busy as the guards saluted them as they entered the office of the commanding officer.

"I'm Sky Commander Lee and this is Squad Captain James of the 5th Dingo Squadron,"

James saluted the commanding officer while wondering they were required to come.

Colonnello Claudius Tenteranus nodded his greeting to Sky Commander Lee. Also with them in the room was Colonel Brandon Kahan of the Atreidond Islands. He looked at the two. "Seeing as you're likely to be the only two to show up I have one question to ask you before you leave Roma V to head home. Do you have any clues, any hints, that can help me to track down whoever broke the ceasefire?"

"We don't know now, but if you could analyze the wreckage of the Ryou ships, you could possibly get an ID on the attackers," suggested the colonel. "However, that might break the cease-fire"

"Hmmm...," Lee started.

"Sky Marshall, wouldn't the assassin's be able to do something about this?" asked James.

"Why ask them to come?" asked Lee to James. "The radar showed an attack made on warships by aircraft with an unknown ensigma or flag. We have a picture here,"

James was a bit shy showing the next bit of equipment. He wasn't sure how they would react since Lynion's were aliens from a far distant home world. He pulled out a circular object and both officers took interest. He set it up to show the entire attack on the retreating warships. It will reply the attack until someone pauses it or stops it.

"There's one of these device's per squadron. It really is helpful as it has longer radar range than the one we found here," briefed James.

Lee move the circular a little to the left so they would see a side view of the aircraft's.

"There's the ensigma or flag," spotted Lee at one of the aircrafts.

Claudius stroked his chin in thought as he viewed the picture provided by the highly advanced device. It didn't bother him too much that there was a nation so far ahead that they had technology of this kind. They'd catch up eventually anyway.

"I'll have one of the computer nerds (his own little nickname for his technicians) check our databses for the nation to whom this flag belongs to. In the mean time, you two are allowed to depart. Your transports have been refueled and my men will stock you with whatever supplies you need for the journey. Have a safe trip home gentlemen."

He stood up from the table and saluted the two before exiting the room, leaving the two commanding officers behind and the door ajar for them.

Lee halted James for a moment before they left the room.

"Thank you for allowing us to aid you in the investigation. Before we leave, are you sure there isn't much more we can't do for you?" asked Lee.

James watched Lee and the two other officers as he gave a copy of the aircraft with the flag to one of the officers. He took the device and watched the officers wondering what Lee was up to.
