OOC: Alright The Factbook and the other Intro Thread kinda give a little backstory to this. For those of you who haven't seen either one here we go.
United Nations have been disbanded, "Super States" have been formed. Capitalism, Fascism, Communism, and Fundementalist Islam are competing to control the world. Kinda like a four way Cold War. The Communists have Walled themselves off in Asia and Europe and Africa, total isolation, only the Communist Nations in South America weren't walled off.
Global War is getting closer every day....but
Something is fast appoaching the Earth. Something that was fought off long ago....

…..Food…..it could sense food. For a Millennia or more it has been floating through space…disturbed, angry, HUNGRY. It has lost before….lost a great deal. But now it could rise again, do what it couldn’t finish. EAT until it was full! Excitement….longing….and hunger…..it couldn’t stay on this rock any longer…but it had to….until food was close enough.

“But what about our territories in the West? The Bahamian Coalition and the Coalition of Southern Governments are still open to the West.”
“I wouldn’t worry about us. The people are too disillusioned by the previous try with a Capitalist Government, they are too far into our ideologies to be swung now. But if needed we could start building a Wall in South America.”
“No, that will not be. That will raise too much of an alarm to the FFS and the IFU. We cannot tip our hand that we have done the first stage for total control over our population. The only way we can end this stalemate is to have total control so we can wage total war.”
Murmurs of Agreement were heard all along the table. As the meeting went on, more policies were introduced, and were either shot down, or agreed upon.

A new Company of EAP Infantry arrived for Training….and Col. Sergio Golaknchev was there to greet them. While he hated this, it was his duty as a Soldier of the CIS to make sure all friendly Troops were highly trained and ready. With all four major powers represented in Africa, it was his job to make sure the Confederacy was on top.

The Camera Lens focused on what seemed like nothing, but after Intelligence received information that the Confederacy of Independent States was sending more troops to the EAP, UNAF took an interest. This was the earliest move to see if UNAF Troops needed to be moved for a counter in Africa. But before the UNAF Government contacted the West African Federation for approval, they had to make sure it was a real threat.
The Satellite switched through its multiple viewing lenses, for pictures in every format. But something was different….since no other time this particular patch of desert was ever photographed…something was seen for the first time. Just south of Mt. Kilimanjaro…something was UNDER the surface. The computer in the satellite immediately tagged this as CLASSIFIED and EYES ONLY. And it was forwarded ahead of schedule to the Commissioner of Intelligence.

That was all he said when he looked at the digital picture, but his mind was racing. What was the Confederacy up to? And why have we just found out about it?
