Television Address of the President


My Fellow Filipiniadans, as you all know, our great King, his Highness, Johnrey Baliwas XVI, has been ill this pass several days, it has been known that he has a strain of poison inside his body, though the culprit behind the poisoning has yet to be known,

Today, at exactly 7:23AM, our King, who is only 21 years old, has passed away, with no known successor, and no sons/daughters nor a wife, we are searching for his extended family, in hopes for a distant cousin that may success his Royalness, for the time being, I, Darren Anselmo, The Elected President of this great Empire, will take the responsibilities left behind by the King, until there is a clear successor to his throne.

As for whomever or whatever did this to our King, we are conducting a full scale investigation and search for the culprit behind this.

We thank the Lynion People for it's regards and concern over this matter, it is very hard indeed, but the Filipiniadan's would rise again just like 30 Years ago when King Baliwas XVI father, King Eduardo Baliwas XV, lead us to this land when our former homeland was full of invaders and chaos,

Any help necessary with the investigation would be gladly appreciated by the Empire, especially when it is coming from our ally.

Given the acceptance of the Empresses offer Dr Alyssa Kitsu of the 'Empress Midori' arrived at the pre-arranged time at the presidential place.

She flew a shuttlepod down and came with a nurse. Given their warrior nature both young asian women were wearing the red wrap over jacket, knee length black skirt and thigh high black boots. They also had holstered Walther PPK's and wicked looking long daggers on their left hips. Their comm badges were in the shape of a snake wrapped round a staff to show their speciality.

Ariko Matsu was the slightly younger of the team at 19 years old with Alyssa being 21. They were also both asian and very human.

Touching down in the grounds where the shuttlepod could be seen the away team had medical tricorders along with a standard medical kit and what looked like a standard laptop computer. However this was way more advanced than a normal pc and was their link to the information banks on the ship as well as being a mine of medical information itself.

Presidential Palace


The President, Darren Anselmo, has been awaiting the arrival of the team, if this was suppose to help the case of the King's Assasination, then he would be gladly meet the team,

He then approach the team, on his back, was 3-5 EIA Agents for security, and also with him was the Physician/Lead Autopsy Officer of the King, Dr. Sheila Anselmo, which also happen to be the wife of the President, she is 22 years old, and is a Asian, which all Filipiniadans are, because of where they came from.

"Greetings!, I am the President of the Philippiniada, Darren Anselmo, You must be the team sent by the Empress of Neo Kirusibo?" He said while extending his hand

Alyssa shook the Presidents hand, bowed formally and then introduced herself and her assistant.

"Our Empress did sent us. I'm Dr Alyssa Kitsu and my assistant is Nurse Ariko Matsu. Once we get out holdalls from our shuttle we can begin the investigation at hand.

You have our sympathy for your loss. I'm sure the King was well loved by his people."

Ariko had taken out both barrel bags which had the clothes and personal effects they'd need while here. They were ready to start work and looking a little loaded down.

Alyssa shook the Presidents hand, bowed formally and then introduced herself and her assistant.

Sheila then smiled and extended his hand "Hi. Nice to meet you two, any questions about the medical history and the autopsy of the King, you should ask me"

"Dr Anselmo, We're looking forward to working with you" Alyssa figuring they were related in some way given they had the same name.

"So Doctor where will the investigation take place?" she initially asked. Minor details like quarters and the like could wait since this case could go cold very quickly.

So they were whisked away to the Kings Palace both women already pondering what they might find. Foul play was heavily suspected since poison isn't generally self administered.

"Doctor, once we're settled in please can we see the autopsy report and the crime scene report?" she asked this being the starting point for them.

Then they'd move onto scanning the King's body to see if that could determine the poison used.

"I have it with me" She then gives it to them


"As you can see, foul play is the strongest possibility, as poison will not get to the King's food or drinks by itself, also, there is a sign of a force entry in the King's Kitchenroom, the King likes to prepare foods by himself, so Chefs are not necessary" the Doctor explained

"I'm figuring somebody poisoned the raw ingredients in that case. We'll have to scan everything in the kitchen as well as the palace rooms in general" Alyssa replied as she read the information at hand.

"A forced entry probally means this was an assassins work. Does the Royal Family have any known enemies either at home or abroad?" she added.

She trusted the police methods in place already but they could find out things 21st century science couldn't.

"You can scan all you want here, anything to solve this mystery" the Doctor said

Alyssa nodded and replied "hopefully by the time we're finished your police will have more clues to work with.

I'm not a criminologist but science is as much a law enforcement weapon as a gun is.

Rebels do sound like the most likely suspects. We've had to deal with them before but their actions caused the worst disaster in my nations history."

She left the rest unsaid knowing she'd be getting to work soon enough.

"This is it, The King's personal place, we did'nt moved anything and this is exactly what we saw when the King was found crying for help" the Doctor said

The room was not that of a mess, though dust is starting to build up, on the Kitchen, there is a door that has its doorknob removed, and the King's food still intact on the Refrigerator,

"Do your magic, Doctor" Sheila smiled to them

The doctor and nurse took out their hand scanners and ran them over everything in the kitchen. They were certainly picking up traces of a poison in the food and even on some knives the late King would have used.

Showing Sheila her results on the little screen the cell diagram and makeup of the poison was clearly seen after Alyssa touched a few buttons and found the Ariko's scans were getting the same results.

"Thats what killed the King. We don't recognise it but your scientists might" she said.

"Hmm, i think i saw that before" the Doctor reminisinced, she then took a file from what she is carrying for sometime now, she then readed and then saw a exact same cell diagram

"Bingo. It is Mepthapamithinine, it was created by the Imperial Bureau of Agriculture, it was intended to be a pesticide, though failed to achieve it's full potential and retired quickly, it wasn't mass produce though" the Doctor is puzzled

"Doctor Alyssa, could you scan the body of our King so we can confirm it?"


Meanwhile...
At the Presidential Office


"Sir, Director Yulas would like to see you?" the Presidential Secretary of State told the President

"What for?" he replied

"Urgent, Sir" she replied to the President

The President was surprised, it must be concerning the Nation's Security, the President just nodded to the Secretary of State

Director Yulas then saluted then sitted nearby the President

"What is it, Anna?" the President said

"Well, Sir, There is a... situation on Quezon City" The Director said obviously shaking

"What is it? Cut to the chase!" the President said frustratingly

"The Fist of Rizal, they had striked Quezon City, tooked control of it and spreading fast to the cities of Nicolyn and Angel City" the Director replied

"What?!, Don't we have a Military base in Quezon City?"

"Turns out to be a Coup too, at least, for that Military Base"

"Contain the situation! utilize your BEST agents for the quick destruction of this Fist of Rizal!"

"Uh--- Yes Sir!"

The President then immediately reached for the phone

"Declare a State of Rebellion and a Defcon 1, block all roads going in and out of Angel City, Nicolyn, and Quezon City!, also going in and out of the Capital! mobilize the whole army!" the President shouted

At that very moment, TV stations in Philippiniada began broadcasting the current situation, and asked not to panic, as tanks paraded the streets, so as Helicopters and F-16 and Raptors roaring through the air

"we can do that" Alyssa replied feeling fine with being called by her first name. They used the western principles of the family name last to make things easier for others.

So when they reached the Kings body Ariko also set up the 'laptop' on a nearby table and plugged a cable into her own scanner and the other end into the computer.

Scanning the late monarchs body revealed the damage that had been done to his body before he died as well as the prescence of Mepthapamithinine.

The laptop screen had a display of the body which was even more detailed than an x-ray would be.

Touching the screen Alyssa showed where the poison had concentrated and this information might well be important.

Both Neo Kirisubans were oblivious to the state of emergency that had just been declared since none of them had heard the news.

"Well, it's clear, Mepthapamithinine killed him, someone who has connections with the IBA done this..." the Doctor said

"Thank you, Doctor Alyssa, we couldn't have done it without you" She smiled to both of them

The Fist of Rizal has been spreading in the nearby cities, they have a strength of a nation's army, though it is unclear where they have gotten it, probably in the black market, but still, the funds is a mystery, they have attacked the city of Mitchell, and the cities garrison is losing fast, Mitchell is the Empire's biggest city,

"We were very glad to help you out. My Empresses orders were clear and we only did our duty" Alyssa replied as she disconnected the cable and sent this information back to her ship.

It would end up as a data packet in her sickbay in case she needed to work on it up there.

Then she checked in using her comm badge speaking her own language.

"Nan-ja?" she half asked in surprise to the comms operator on the 'Empress Midori'.

Switching to english she said "can you send that report to my computer down here? I'd like to see it."

Then a few seconds later the intercepted news reports were playing back. Violent attacks were starting and the army was already fighting in the streets.

Mitchell City


"Fire at that Building!" A Private said to the Howitzer Cannon Operator, he then positioned it to the said building, then firing it destroying a large portion of the building,

"That will teach you, you Bastards!"

Then a Lyran Tank positioned near the Privates, firing at Rebels on the other side of the street, but then, a Rebel fired a RPG to the tank, it withstand it, but the Private's near it didn't, the Lyran Tank then fired another shot, destroying a building behind the rebels, though another RPG destroyed the Lyran.

The city was a hellscape, it is ruined, and it became a warzone, everywhere in the city, there was death and fire, and the Imperial Guards are losing...

Alyssa assumed she'd be safe in the Kings palace for as long as she'd need to be here. Even with her shuttlepod in the grounds of the presidential palace they could always beam away if they needed to.

Her young nurse looked worried and now the doctor had to calm her colleague down.

They also knew they couldn't leave any of their technology behind or contaminate a culture too badly which was why they hadn't taken hand phasers.

They also couldn't get involved in what as brewing up to be a civil war that was unfolding around them except by being a mediator.

Lynion Frigate Lyscet.

"Alright, we have orders to help out with the people Philippiniada to help them with their loss of King Jonrey Baliwas 16th," started the captain as the coast line was sighted. "We have two other destroyers and another frigate as well as a troop transport ship. We have around 1,000 Elitle Lynion Hunters and 100 Lynion Assassian's that will help out investigating the assassination,"


"Captain look,"

The captain and his two lieutenant's looked at a ruined city and gasped. The captain swore for a moment as they contiune on their path before stopping.

"This is Captain Michell of the Lysect. We are friendly Lynion's and we're are here to help you. Can you inform us of your current situation? We have a force if we require backup," the captain said into the radio.

Mitchell City


The fighting has been intense, with the rebels gaining ground every minute, half of the city is rendenred in rebel control, but the shore is still on Loyalists Hand,

But it is currently assaulted, a Senor Tenyente (Senior Lieutenant) picked up a garbled message on the ports radio, something that may help them

"This is Lt. Limuel of the Imperial Guard based here in Mitchell, may i confirm you are here to help us?" the Lieutenant said in the radio echoed by the fighting outside


Meanwhile...


"Are you two OK? You looked woried... Is there something wrong?" Sheila said in a puzzled voice not knowing of the civil war has been taking place,

Suddenly, two Imperial Guards entered the room "Maam!, We are evacuating this place immediately!" they said in a rushing voice

"What?!, Why?" Sheila demanded a reply,

"They'd strike!, The Fist of Rizal, they had taken over the Angel City, Nicolyn, and Quezon City, and currently they are assaulting Mitchell City"

Without sauing a word but obviously shaken, she calmly dragged the two companions to the outside.

"Lieutenant, this is Captain Mitchell," started the captain. "We are here to help you. If you do not control the beachhead, my men can make a force landing. I presume you're under attack by rebels?"

The lieutenant looked around as the captain wondered if they were too late.

"Oh thank god." the Lieutenant said, "Yes, we are being attacked by rebels, rebels that want to reinstate a now-defunct Republic, we are gonna try our best to hold the beach, we have currently 20 Lyran and 14 Nakil Tanks trying to hold the onslaught of 100 M-Patton 60 and 100 M1 Abrahms Tanks from the rebels, so, your help would be great" the Lieutenant said

On the outside, the Imperial Guards are trying their best to hold it off, as news of the contingent to help them spread like fire, it was a free morale boost for them, but the Lieutenant doubt that morale will be the obly thing they need.

On the bridge of the Lyscet.

"Standby and find cover," replied the captain as he turned to the operators. "Rebel's are nothing but men with no purpose and weapons. We are Lynion's with a role. By orders of King Marcus, we are to secure the nation and the city. God save those poor souls. Have the frigates and destoryers open fire on the Rebel position. Take care, our allies are on the ground,"


On board a landing craft.

Captain Johnson checked his L-34 Assault rifle as the ships cannons open fire.

"There isn't going to be anyone left to fight," complained a corporal.

"Arrrghhh! To hell with everything," shouted the captain as they came closer to the beachhead. "We're Lynion's and we haven't had a fight since the Fungi Wars,"

"Hooray!" replied the Hunter's.

"We will fight these so called Rebels. Do not underestimate them. They have Abram's in the city. We have the new Tiger Tanks," shouted the captain as a Tiger went pass them on a carrier. "Fight for Lynion and die for her causes,"

The landing craft ramp lowered and the Lynion Hunter's poured out the landing crafts. Johnson watched a Rebel lay down some fire before being turned into by a Tiger shell. He lead the men to the Imperial Guards and setup a defensive barrier.

"We're Lynion Hunter's and we're here to help you," Johnson said to a Guard watching them.

The cannons stopped firing as the dust rose from the ruined city. The Lynion's took up position as a Rebel Tank came around the corner. The captain watched an anti-crew take up position before firing a missile. It brok the tank in two as the Tiger Tanks secured the beachhead.

"Ahhhh...." shouted someone from behind.

The captain turned around and watched a charging Rebel coming towards him. He waited and then he bashed him in the stomach with the butt of his rifle. He took the neck of the Rebel and sank his fangs into the blood veins.

'A positive,' he thought to himself as he turned back to the Imperial Guard. "Don't worry, we don't require blood to live." he said to the Imperial Guards.

He turned to his men as the frigates destoryed a building with Rebel's hiding inside. He turned to his lieutenant and ordered the Lynion Assassin's to link up with the Palace and secure the position. He also asked wheather the Dingo's from a nearby island were able to help them. The lieutenant jumped to his radio and quickly sent a message to the island base.

"We are here to help you," he said to the Imperial Lieutenant.

He looked to his side as the assassin's rushed through towards the palace.

"Get word to the Palace some of our elite Hunter's are coming to them," ordered the captain to the lieutenant. "They are there to protect the palace from an attack,"

The captain looked up as it was clearly seen, they were going have to fight their way to the palace before they could secure the city itself.


At the nearby Island Airfield, Leadmax.

The air raid seirn roared into life as the pilots ran to their Dingo Fighters and the new Hunter Class Fighter Jet MK2 were starting to scramble. Jian looked around realising something was going wrong and somewhere, their forces were out gunned, out numbered and maybe out powered. This was the time for them to make their mark in history.

Sheila did drag Alyssa and her nurse but they had time to retrieve their equipment.

With the cause of death and the poison used known their job was mostly done. Now they had to identify the killer, a hard task unless they'd left some DNA round the kitchen to find.

Trusting the doctor to keep them right they were glad they'd had practice with the automatic pistols on board ship. They might need to fight if their lives depended on it.

Arriving at the Palace.

The Lynion Assassian's passed by the friendly Imperial Guards as the fighting was beginning to become more and more dense. Captain Huch of the 4th Assassian Company, ordered 25 of his best men to help the Imperial Guard to fend off the Rebels. Another 50 around the palace and help out where the Imperial Guards require it. The last of the 25 entered the Palace with orders to secure the people inside.

The captain ran into a group of four with some of them armed with automatic pistol's.

"Hello," he said as they aimed their pistol's at him. "We've being sent to secure the Palace but original we were sent to find the assassian. We're friendly Lynion Assassin's or just Elite Special Forces,"

He hoped this wouldn't end with bloodshed as the battle outside was becoming more and more dense.


At the airfield.


"This is Sky Commander (similiar to Wing Commander) Jian to all Lynion Forces and allied forces in the area, we're about an hour's flight from your position," briefed Jian to the Lynion's and the friendly forces.

News had reached us that His Highness Johnrey Baliwas XVI of the Philippiniada had passed away. The United Kingdom of Brutland and Norden offers its condolences to the royal family and to the Filipiniadans, and hopes that the culprit be brought to justice for this abominable crime.

Leaving the airfield

Jian started to pick up the signals of Lynion Naval warships and Lynion Forces on the ground as the radar range started to cover what seemed to be a beachhead.

"Alpha Squadron, prepare to engage enemy targets," ordered Jian.
