Large quantities of depleted uranium needed for projects

The ASoGM currently is looking for large quantities of depleted uranium for various projects that it is currently undertaking. One such project is the expansion of the artificial island that the ASoGM is on. We have already purchased ship hulls to sink for an anchor, but need depleted uranium to help add weight and mass to the anchor system. Another project will be an weight anchor system for a space elevator.
If you do not have a means to get the depleted uranium to the ASoGM, we can arrange a delivery method. Please send all offers to the Ministry of Special Projects, care of Minister Steven Hillside.

Why do you specifically need DU for said projects? is there not another way if all you are looking for is to add weight to anchors and for a weight anchor system.
Exetonia only asks since the most common use for DU is on shells to provide greater armour piercing potential.

Because depleted uranium is a very dense metal, is normally considered a byproduct or waste, and is less brittle than the denser osmium.

Dear Sir,
I would like to kindly inform you that United Earthlings Military Systems[UEMS] has access to a large supply of Depleted Uranium[DU] for your needs and would be glad to sell you an undisclosed amount should you be interested. UEMS is also capable of delivering the goods itself within a timely manner pending no delays.
It sells for $90 USD per kilogram, however should you purchase a bulk order from us of significant size, you might qualify for a discount and get a lower price overall.
We look forward from hearing from you and hopefully gaining your business.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely, Nicholas Stevens
OCC: Should you choose to place an order, I kindly ask you to place the order in my storefront. A link to it can be found in my sig.
Alfegos Rare Earth Metals co. are happy to provide you with depleted uranium of different grades at the following prices:
- Grade 1 Depleted Uranium: The product of all impurities removed from uranium during the centrifuging process, after being processed 5 times to remove fissile isotopes. Contains 0.14 percent U-235, and 0.0055 percent U-234. Used for most applications. Cost of $88 000 per tonne.
- Grade 2 Depleted Uranium: Brought onto the market due to studies showing the risks of standard depleted uranium, to try and reduce radioactive damage caused primarily by the most active emitter in uranium, U-235. Contains only 0.03 percent U-235, having a lower radioactivity rate than standard. Cost of $90 500 per tonne.

To the ASoGM,
We do not have any depleted Uranium, but we can offer regular Uranium, U235. We would be willing to sell this to you, in large quantities, for as long as you wish. Shipping is no problem, just give us a place to drop it off.
Signed,
Jimmy James,
Owner, CEO
James Mining Corp., a division of Jimmy James Industries
(OOC: Enriched uranium is VERY expensive. Plus the fact you'll have terrorists nicking it to use in home-made nuclear reactors.)

From: The Greater Avisronian Mineral Consortium
The Avisronian continent has massive mineral wealth, and the nation of Avisron has highly advanced technology by which we can extract said wealth. The government requires a certain (somewhat high) percentage of those processed minerals to go into long-term storage, which has for the last few decades reduced our ability to export for a profit. The quotas have begun to be reached, however, and we can now offer you depleted uranium from our nuclear program for a standard price of 85 Universal Standard Dollars per kilogram.

-Message from The Lone Alliance Department of Energy-
Our nation is mostly run on either Hydroelectic, Geothermal, or Nuclear power, as thus the department of energy has a massive surplus of spent nuclear fuel DU. While much is made into DU projectiles in our nation, we still have many tons remaining. If you will like we would simly request a going price of 50 a kilogram. It's less of a burden to us and it's only a slight profit.

We are currently seeking at least 250 metric tonnes, or 250,000 kg of depleted uranium. Would that qualify as an order of significant size?

Message from the Chief Governor
Considering the fact we naturally thrive on Uranium, because of our love for Nuclear Weapons and their effect on life as we know it, we have a lot of depleted uranium stores in storage for weapons manufacturing and the like. I would be willing to ship you over 500 Metric Tonnes for around $2 Billion Universal Standard Dollars, with the option of opening a free trade route where we would ship more for free.
Your choice,
Chief Governor Johnny Standford

Why would we pay $4,000 per kg of depleted uranium when we have had offers as low as $50 per kg?

Unfortunately, no. However, UEMS is willing to offer a one time deal to your nation. In return for accepting this deal, your nation agrees to use UEMS and the United Earthlings government as your premium supply of uranium within a specified list of conditions that both parties agree to.
In return for this agreement by your government, UEMS is willing to match the price of the lowest bidder and offer it's price of two dollars per kilogram lower then the price of the lowest bidder. OCC-Example, if someone bids $40 dollars per kilogram, UEMS will match that and offer $38 dollars per kilogram.

As we already have ourselves as a source of regular uranium, we really only need depleted uranium.

The ASoGM accepts your offer. The lowest bid we previously received was $50 per kg, so if we understand your bid, your price would be $48 per kg. Figuring in our request of 250 metric tons or 250,000 kg, the total should be $12,000,000 We can wire the money to you as soon as you accept the totals.
