The Charter of the Confederation of Island Nations

We The Peoples of These Islands Nations in order to Help Trade and Defense between Each other hear by Form this Great Alliance, known as The Confederation of Island Nations.

Article I: All Members are recognized as Free and independent nations and are free of control and enslavement by other Nations

Article II: All Members are entitled to join in free trade, if they want to not have free trade, it is allowed.

Article II: All Members can be of another Alliance, This Alliance is for all Island Nations, no matter if They are Communist or Capitalist.

Article III: If War should started between a Non-Alliance nation and a Confederacy Nation, the all members should go to the member’s Defense if it was attacked.

Article IV: Should a Member nation start an Offensive War against a non-Member then all members are free to join in the war or stay Neutral. If a Nation becomes Neutral, they must give a reason why.

Article V: If two Members start a war against Each other, then The two are to be brought to the Confederacy Court to see The reason for the war and to use Diplomacy to end the war, or a trial by Combat between the two warring nation’s top Hand to Hand fighters.

Article VI: Should any Member Nation be attacked by a Non-Member Nation or another alliance, the ALL MEMBERS are to help fight the attacker off, even if going on the Offensive against the attacker or attackers.

Article VII: if a member is hit with a Natural Disaster, or plague, the all member nations must help that nation out in humanitarian aid of any kind.

Article VIII: Genocide is Illegal in all Member Nations. All type of Non-Animal Races (Human, Nekos, Other furries.) are Recognized as sapient. Any Genocide will have the one doing it kicked out.

Article IX: Slavery is Banned from all member Nations, if any nation tried slave labor, then they are kicked out of The Confederacy.

Article X: All or Free to join or Leave this Alliance.

Article XI: even if a Nation is not a Island Nation, they can still join The Confedracy.

The hand to hand fighters are to be for any Trial by Combat needed ti end a war between to member nations. a Fight till one gives in.

and Force Work from Prisoners is allowed, but they are to be treated fairly and also, Child Labor is also Illegal.

Although we still do not agree with part of article V, we are willing to accept these terms. Our prisoners are treated fairly, and there is no child labor.

Let's analyze this piece by piece shall we?

Firstly, your set up is strange. Makes it look like the 10 commandments.

Article I: seems ok
Article II: wtf this does nothing.
Article II: it is assumed, unless stated that all members of alliances are free to join other alliances
Article III: seems logical only...this means we will have to cross sometimes multiple oceans in order to reach our ally. Island nations.
Article IV: err... a reason why? we are sovereign nations ands don't have to justify our actions to anyone. What if an ally from another alliance is attacking?
Article V: wtf, try due procedure or a proper war game.
Article VI: redundant, look at Article III
Article VII: seems fine
Article VIII: define race
Article IX: fine, Uiri never practised slavery. Although child labour is common in order to keep the family from falling hopelessly into debt.
Article X: All OR Free? wtf or do you mean all ARE free?

All in all, OSAFU provides the same things only it is bilateral between each other member and myself.

We think you have it all wrong. The Confederacy isn't for all nations nor is it for all Islands. some don't want in the Confederacy many reason.

the Rules are no isuse, They do not weaken a nations Sovereignty, but protect it. If you are afraid that the Confederacy is a Evil Empire, don't worry. New Articles can be added if members want them added Vote.
