who are the Naneson and the folores?

the 1st one is the gangs and the 2nd is the cops

Stevenvill, so far this is not roleplay, and if it continues at this level your thread will be closed. There are lots of stickies at the top of the forum about how to write. Please read some of them.

One thing that helps is to think of the thread as a TV show. A show wouldn't start with a guy coming on and saying, "Naneson and the Folores are having a gang war." You might see a shot of what started it off. You'd see a shot of what's happening -- maybe someone being killed; you'd see a bit about police reaction -- maybe the Commissioner going off his head about it, or a cop being injured; and you'd get to know some of the main characters, all before the first commercial.

So try putting some of these in your next few posts: who's involved (a gang boss, a detective, a reporter, a waitress, a movie star, a priest?), where are they (capital city? taking over a small town? skyscraper? street?) when is it (night? day? past, present, future?), what's happening (shoot-outs, individual assassinations?), why did it break out just now, and how's it being treated (public fearful or furious, media crusading, churches calling for peace?).

Give your people names and descriptions so other posters will know who their character's dealing with.

A few players have volunteered to help newcomers. If you see someone with "NSTer" or "NS Trainer" in their signature, they're someone you can ask for help.

EDIT: By the way, using "aaaaaaaaa" as your thread title won't help. The forums aren't arranged alphabetically. I've retitled your thread to let other posters know what it's about. If you want a different title, post in Moderation.

OOC: I Agree with our Great mod, Ardchoille-sama, even I don't start off with a One liner Post..........unless it was a question on General (which I don't go on to usualy.)

Guys, leave further commentary until Stevenvill posts his scene-setter, please. Then those of you who want to help can take it from there, and those who don't can leave the thread (before I help them leave it).

Stevenvill, when they write OOC it means Out Of Character and it's not part of the story. They'll probably use it when they're giving advice. IC means In Character, and this means that they've gone back to playing a part in the story.

Come on man get some of those creative juices flowing.I'm a noob too I've only been here since December I know how it feels.Just find some other RPers you get along with and have at it,trust me it's good practice and fun too!Read the stickies also they help alot.
