Background: Theoroshia's background started only twenty seven years ago, as it was originally an over seas colony of Calgaria. However, with the demise of Calgaria came independence for the colony; it established a republic in 1983 and begin to participate with international affairs. Threats were abound, though, as the Republican Party of Theoroshia soon begin to establish a stranglehold over all other political parties. Soon Theoroshia was under the command of self appointed Emperor Arkady Renkovich, who's tyrannical reign started in 1989. For six years he would instill fear into the populace until Kevin Deskavadi, an exiled Theoroshian of the former Democratic Socialist Party, returned and with popular support of the people and the army arrested and sentenced to death Renkovich. With the Republican Party destroyed, and all other political parties disbanded, the people rallied behind Kevin Deskavadi and the Democratic Socialist Party, who immediately changed Theoroshia from a dictatorship into a Socialist Republic in 1995. He was elected premier of Theoroshia and shared power with the Trudina, Theoroshia's governing body of six elected Directors. He died in 2001 of a heart attack, and Eric Brant took over as premier of Theoroshia. Under Premier Brant's rule, Theoroshia experienced an economic boom, as the government employed millions to create parks, build bridges, lay rail and add more roads to urban areas in Theoroshia. Additionally, the military was given a revamping of men and materials, and as a result is a stronger force than ever. He was elected for a second term in 2006, and will seek re-election in 2012.

Infrastructure: Theoroshia is extremely modernized, and has access to some of the most cutting edge technologies out there. Due to Calgaria's obsession with ecological preservation, most of the highways in Theoroshia are 'green' and most traffic lights and other necessary public safety devices run on solar power. Most homes, located in separate communes, or communities, located in separate districts, are powered by either wind or solar power. Government installations run on more reliable sources of energy, most of the time being nuclear with coal plants acting as back up power sources. All citizens live comfortably due to Theoroshia's massive social welfare program, and crime is low due to conscription and the death penalty being used on the worse offenders. Cars are rarely, if ever, used, as the extensive high speed rail service and large bus service allows citizens to move freely around cities and towns. Air travel isn't needed, but offered if going to another country.
