Princess Alexandria or Alex as she was called stepped off her small plane which had landed in Tzargrad Airport. It was raining softly but General Dole was by her side who was her bodyguard for the entire trip.

This was the second time she was in Neo-Ixania but the first time was still deep in her mind as she remembered what had happened in the hotel and Cpt.Walker. She closed her eyes and rememebered what she was here for Alex was here to meet a Neo-Ixania Prince; Prince Felix of Schverzinski. She had heard many good things about him through her mother and father, Queen Hannah and Lord Sumguy.

She walked up to him and thanked him for welcoming her to come to his nation. General dole watched carefully as he was told to report everything back to the royal family.

Prince Felix was one of the many cousins of the Empress of Ixania; claiming one of her uncles as his father. He did not expect that he would be meeting a British princess but was told by his parents that they heard good things about her and wanted him to give her a chance. Felix, who was quite fond of women, decided that he would fulfill his parents' wish by meeting with her. He waited calmly at the airport with his security guards while trying to picture how Alex may look in his mind; he had seen plenty of appealing women in his life and wondered how Alex would fare in his mind.

When she arrived, Felix began studying her calmly and thought she was quite attractive for a woman. He gave her a smile, bowed respectfully, and welcomed her to Ixania. "It is a pleasure to meet the beautiful British princess named Alexandria. Yes; I am Prince Felix of Ixania and I am quite good today. I'm hopeful to show you around during your stay and get to know you better."

Felix helped Alex into the limosuine and ordered the chauffer to begin driving. "I must say that you are quite the attractive woman, Alex. Can I assume that the men are quite....amorous around you?"

General Dole quietly watched the two continue to talk as he took down notes for Queen Hannah to read. Alex was just perfect in handling this he thought to himself and closed the note book.

"Although I was not there at the hotel when it all happened...I know that it was nothing more than a horrid sin committed against innocent people. I heard that Captain Walker was killed in the end; blood shall be repayed with blood as they say."

Alex had a flash back bringing her back to the night when Cpt.Walker was in the hotel killing everyone he could get his hands on. Alex brought herself back but knew she would never get over those dreams of Cpt.Walker and the people who where killed under his rage.

Felix smiled. "My parents were quite interested in having me meet you, Alex. I never expected that I'd be meeting you but don't think I'm trying to restrain any dislike of meeting you because...I've actually been curious about you. After all, it's not every day that you meet a British, let alone a foreign, princess."

Felix laughed a little. "We will be going to my home in Tzargrad before we go for a tour of the city so you can see all the sights, culture and so forth. I do not know if you will be able to meet the Empress; she is quite the busy woman."

"It's ok my mother is the same so don't worry.I'll see the empress soon or maybe in the future. I am very tired through so I hope I can get some rest while we are at your home. My flight kept me up all night and I didn't get any sleep".

Felix smiled. "However, I'd like to learn more about you. What does a British princess do for fun? What are your hobbies, etc? Do you desire solace from the paparazzi?"

"I do enjoy skiing, hunting and anything that has to do with the meaning of fun. I hate the paparazzi; they have cuased my family much pain over the years".

Felix did not mind Alex resting her head on his shoulder; having been accustomed to other girls he knew, primarily relatives, doing such an act. As he looked out the window, he could only think about Alex and what could happen between them. She, to him, was a nice girl and hopefully, he thought, he could discover more about her.

Felix helped Alex out of the limosuine and beckoned her to him; asking her to follow him into his family's home. "The guest room is near mine so if you need to ask me something then you know where to find me; although I may be out at some times but I'll try my best to be around alot so you know that I am there to help you."

Alex went back outside to get her suticases and her bags and headed to the guest room. When she opened the door inside was amazing; it looked like it was designed for a King or Queen. She dropped her suitcases and jumped on the bed falling into a deep sleep.

After watching Alex sleep for a brief moment, Felix began to think about her. She did look quite pretty to him and she was quite nice and such things provoked him to want to know more about her. He passed the time by looking for Hannah; so he could introduce himself to her mother.

Alex woke up and headed straight to the shower to wash herself off after the long trip. After her thirty minute shower Alex sliped into an evening dress and got out of the guest room. She went downstairs and into the drawing room where she smelled fresh biscuits and tea waiting for her. She quietly got herself a tea cup and poured herself some tea. It reminded her of home and her family. she put it down and saw a picture of Felix who looked about the age of six or eight she smiled and put it down.

I always loved seeing the tadpoles and the like and thus I still hold a deep respect for nature. After all, shouldn't we appreciate God's creation?"

Felix beckoned Alex to the tea table and smiled. "You look beautiful, Alex and I would not be surprised if people admired you for it. As we enjoy tea and biscuits, I must ask you to tell me more about yourself. What is it like to be the daughter of the reigning monarch of the British nation?"

When they got into the limosuine, Felix looked quite emotionless and sighed as he replayed the mass funeral in his mind. Alex, if she looked, could sense this. "I am not uncomfortable with visiting the hotel, Alex. I believe it is a proper thing to do: honoring and respecting the dead."

The ruins of the hotel were adorned with pictures of victims, wreaths of flowers and banners of remembrance. Felix beckoned Alex to him as they explored the ruins together; he emotionlessly looked at the portrait of a young woman who had been killed. "This girl died protecting her little sister....." Felix said calmly before he looked at Alex. "Many people come here to pay their respects. One time, when I came here before, a young man was weeping over a woman while a mother lamented violently over the corpses of her family. You know, I was practicing skeet shooting with Prince Alexander when this all happened. Every member of the House of Schverzinski sent their condolences."

Alex looked at the pictures and continued to walk and look at the flowers and the pictures. Alex had gotten some flowers from a store and put them near a picture a woman.

Felix walked up to Alex and began trying to comfort her as best as he could; wiping her tears with a spare handkerchief that he had. "I understand the pain that you must be suffering, Alex, but you must not allow it to torment you. The victims of this massacre are all in a better realm now; secure from the harsh reality that is life."

"Felix do you have the dreams that I have? Do you see Walker coming out of nowhere and shooting children down and then coming after you? No I don't think so. If my family hadn't stayed at this hotel Walker wouldn't have killed so much people who won't even armed to defend themselves!"

Felix sighed in the knowledge that he had made Alex upset but he did not feel upset himself although he was a bit saddened. He ordered the chauffer to prepare to leave the hotel before he took his seat next to Alex; having the doll left at the memorial. As the limosuine drove back to the palace, Felix looked at Alex.

"Alex.....I'm sorry if I made you upset. I understand how you must feel about the whole massacre and I know how it must have felt to see people killed without any mercy given to them at all....as if they were nothing more than pawns in a game of chess. Although I was not there at the hotel when the blood was spilt, I did talk to people who were...people who are tormented by the same nightmares that you have. There was one man who led a group of people armed with whatever they could find....and he lost his wife....his children hid behind the lifeless corpse."

Felix sighed. "Alex, you must not let it all get to you. Do you want to carry this guilt forever? I am sure that deep down inside you seek solace from it all and I know that those victims would forgive your family for, as you claim, attracting Walker to killing them. They would know that you did not mean for it all to happen."

Alex opened her window and smelt the fresh smell of cut grass. She had remembered the smell from Buckingham Palace when she was a young girl playing with her baby brother on the Palace grounds. She laso remembered a troubled past with her mother and father not being there when she needed them and she quickly closed the window.

The limo stopped in front of the house and Alex opened the door quickly got out. She held the door for Felix as he got out of the car and thanked her. They both walked to the door of the house when Alex kissed him on his check and whispered thank you in his ear.

She walked upt to the steps of the house and went inside and upstairs to the guestroom.

Felix was surprised to have been kissed on the cheek by Alex but he simply smiled at her before watching her run away to the guestroom that was given to her. Whenever he was with her, Felix felt happy because he could just look at Alex and see her excited about being in Ixania. To him, her happiness was quite important. After all, doesn't everyone want to be happy? To pass the time, he decided to go for a walk in the palace garden but he could only think about Alex; she was the only person, let alone thing, that was on his mind.

After a while, Felix walked to Alex's guestroom and knocked on the door. "Alex? It's me, Felix. Can I come in? I want to talk to you about some things."

Alex was in her night gown ready for bed while reading her book when she heard a knock on the door and Felix asking to come in. She put down her book and took off her glasses.

"Yes you can Felix. I was just doing a bit of reading before heading off to bed".

We will be visiting an aquatic center so you can get some swimming or soaking in a hot tub done. There is a surprise or two for you as well."

Felix smiled. "We will see as much as we can tomorrow; depending on time, weather and availability."

She knew her mother would be happy about the marraige but her father was not the same and she hoped he would be proud of her. She picked up the phone and dialed the number to her father's office in Buckingham Palace,

"Hello daddy. I have important news for you and mummy; do you remember Prince Felix well we have gotten engageed to one another and i do hope you can come to bless the wedding."

"Oh, is that true?" He asked, taken aback by his daughter's claim. "Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to burst your bubble, for as a Sumguaian citizen it is illegal for you to marry without my consent until you are an adult, and I am not about to let you marry someone you've known less than a year at the age of sixteen, prince or not."

Lord Sumguy had been looking over reports regarding the situation in Greal when he received the call from his daughter. When he heard the term "engaged" he nearly fell out of his chair.

"Oh, is that true?" He asked, taken aback by his daughter's claim. "Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to burst your bubble, for as a Sumguaian citizen it is illegal for you to marry without my consent until you are an adult, and I am not about to let you marry someone you've known less than a year at the age of sixteen, prince or not."

"That's not fair. If mummy agrees to this marraige how come you can't? I'm not alittle girl anymore and you need to know that. If you won't give consent I'll get married anyway".

"Without my consent it would not be legally binding." Lord Sumguy said, rubbing his forehead. "And according to the law you are still a child. What on earth made you think that I would ever agree to this? Wether or not your mother sees nothing wrong with letting her eldest daughter marry some some random noble boy who she has known for only a few weeks when she is not yet an adult is not of my concern. This is not a negotiable issue, you will not marry while I remain your legal guardian."

Felix called out to the British princess as he followed her. When he found her, he smiled at her and tried his best to comfort her. "What is wrong, Alex? What happened?"

"Oh it's nothing it's just my father who can't stand to see his daughter grow up and mature. I'm sorry but I just can't accept on what he has to say..."

Lord Sumguy sighed, leaning back in his chair and rubbing his eyes. After a moment he picked up the phone and began dialing a number. "Get ready to leave for Neo-Ixania," He said, as Wall answered on the other end. "Alex seems to think that she can marry the first Ixanian noble she sets her eyes on, and is attempting to do just that."

Less than an hour later, the two men were aboard a private jet heading for Neo-Ixania. At this point, neither was able to contain himself anymore, and they burst into laughter at the ridiculousness of the situation.

Felix contemplated the words of Alex for a while; feeling both amazed and concerned for her. After some thinking, he knocked on her bedroom door. "Alex....it's me, Felix. Can I come in?"

Felix smiled and looked into Alex's eyes as if they were going to kiss. "I never imagined having a girl who was so ardent in marrying me."

Sgt. John Anthony yawned as he sat in a parked car a block away from the apartment in which the two were staying. He had been instructed to tail the Hegemon's daughter, but not to make his presence known unless she was in danger. He was startled as his cellphone rang, the Hegemon on the other line.

Lord Sumguy looked slightly grim as the plane he was in taxied into an airport gate. "Are you near to where she is still?" He asked. "Good. What is the address? Ah, thank you. Do not let her out of your site, and inform me if the leave. I am coming to get her myself. If she and the boy should go into a church before I arrive, they may be attempting to marry illegaly. In such a case, you must stop them. That is all."

He hung up the phone, and stood up to leave the plane.

The chapel was relatively simple with some icons scattered about and with an elderly priest reading what looked like a medieval style book before he noticed the visitors. He smiled and welcomed them before Felix quickly explained why he was at the chapel with Alex. The priest nodded his head before saying he would reluctantly marry them together. Felix looked at Alex while the priest prepared himself for the ceremony.

The priest began the ceremony after a few minutes passed. He handed some rings to Felix and Alex before making the sign of the cross over them. He then made a prayer over them and continued. The doors to the church opened, Sgt. Anthony appearing in the opening. "Please stop the ceremony, reverend." A voice said from outside, and the Hegemon stepped into the doorway, and began walking toward the pair, Wall just behind him. "I am afraid this marriage is illegal," He continued. "as my daughter is a minor and does not have my consent." He looked calm, but anger and outrage seemed to eminate from him. "What on earth do you think you are doing Alex?"

The chapel's priest marveled at the words of the Hegemon and stopped the ceremony while Felix, ever so reluctant, just kept an eye on his eager bride's father and listened to what he was saying. Felix did not want to be on Lord Sumguy's bad side because he simply reluctantly went along with a plan to marry Alex without his consent. He could only have hoped, then, for a good resolution.

The priest, meanwhile, spent his time inspecting the icons at the altar to make sure they were clean. As a man of the cloth, it was only natural to keep pictures of God's saints clean so that parishoners may gaze upon them in ardent reverence without worrying about smudges and the like. He did, however, keep his ears open to the conversation unfolding before him.

The priest was hesistant but then looked at Lord Sumguy; indeed he was stuck at whether he should administer the sacrament or not....but wouldn't administering the sacrament and supporting a marriage which was not legal actually shame God? "Enough. I am afraid, father, that if you continue this service I will be forced to have you arrested for performing an illegal marraige." Lord Sumguy said, walking forward. "And frankly, I am rather siaapointed that you would even consider marrying a sixteen-year-old girl without first ensuring that she had her parent's consent. Alex, you will come with us. Now." He said.

"You have two choices, Alex." Wall said, leaning agaisnt a pew. "You can walk to the car, or I can carry you." Sgt. Anthony still stood in the doorway, blocking the exit.

Lord Sumguy sighed, looking at Alex. "I don't suppose you would be able to help with that?" He asked Felix.

Alex started to scream for help and started to throw Wall a couple of punches into his head and the jaw.

"You arent helping yourself, missie." Wall said. Switching to Sumguaian, he hissed angrily. "I havent allowed myself to be blackmailed into killing in order to protect you and your father just so that you can throw a tantrum when we wont let you marry yourself off to the first noble boy that bats his eyes at you." He stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening as he realized what he had just said.

"Felix, Is there any way you could help to calm her down, perhaps?" Lord Sumguy said, gesturing towards Alex.

Alex was shocked but quickly talked back in her native tongue but she dare not curse but she hushed her words quietly,

"How dare you say that you disgusting fool. You have no right to say suchs to me or about my father you pig! Get your dirty hands off me before I continue and the nest time it won't be pretty".

General Dole was watching the news when he fell down and started crying. Alex looked around and heard the tragic news that made her fall off Wall's shoulders and started crying.

"The BBC has some sad news to bring as Her Majesty Queen Hannah VI has died in a car crash in Balmoral Castle while hunting. Her Majesty was found dead with her car but her baby daughter Princess Louise and Prince Nathan where found alive with a few cuts. The Royal Family has stated that it shall be a private funeral while Princess Alex has been asked to return right away."

General Dole continued sobbing and rolling on the floor. If only he was their he could have saved his Queen but he wasn't. He pulled out his gun and walked to outside. A bullet was heard outside the church and then screams of people. General Dole was no longer a member of the Royal bodyguard.

"I give you my sincerest condolences, Lord Sumguy, for the loss of your bodyguard and friend. I am sure that he was a faithful servant who spent his life serving you and the Holy Empire and thus I offer you my sincerest condolences for the loss of such a man."

Alex didn't even look in his eyes. She stumbled in her speech but all she said was in Sumguaian saying she's dead over and over again. She knew Felix couldn't understand her but she continued to say it over again. Feeling that he knew or understood her.

Wall stood, his face whitening as he saw the news. "No, it can't be, she cant have..." He looked at Lord Sumguy emerging from the church. "Oh God, this will destroy him."

Lord Sumguy, having not heard the news, nonetheless noticed the gunshot and rushed outside. He ran over to Dole's body, a look of shock on his face. This turned to horror as he heard what was being said on the news, and he stumbled backward, staring blankly in front of him. He tried to say a prayer, but was unable to speak. For a moment he sat motionless on the concrete, before leaning forward and beggining to shake as he sobbed. Wall picked up Alex and walked over to the Hegemon, putting her down and wrapping his arms around both of them.

Alex had stopped crying but was staying random words in Sumguaian until after minutes she snapped out of it and started talking to her father.

"We should go back and check on Louise and Nathan just to make sure they are alright. I am Alexandria III now but we can easily get into the country without the press knowing".

And if that her royal blood stepped in as Alex took command of the whole thing. General Dole was sent on a plane back home to be buried with full military honors and Alex made sure it would happen. She had called her Prime Minister and made it clear that she was now the new Queen of the Second United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and was now Empress of India. She now gone from a teenage girl to a Monarch in only a few minutes times.

Hearing about the loss of the Queen of the Second United Kingdom did nothing more than make Felix remember the Empress of Ixania's loss of her father years ago. He had remembered the funeral well; he remembered seeing his cousin in black mourning robes and with a veil over her face, the guns of the Imperial Guard firing a salute to their fallen liege, the Empress Consort unable to restrain herself from crying and lastly the people of Ixania in complete mourning for the man who brought them to prosperity; the man who led them for many years. Felix replayed the funeral in his mind and could see himself in mourning attire; looking down upon the open coffin of the deceased Emperor of Ixania. He could see the pale skinned man with his eyes shut amidst the crying of the crowd. He remembered putting his hand on the shoulder of the Empress and how he comforted her as best as he could. The Imperial Guard carried the coffin to an Orthodox cathedral in which was a funeral liturgy for the Emperor; Lutherans around the Ixanian Empire prayed for their liege's soul at the same time. To lose Hannah was like losing Alexander, Emperor of Ixania. Both monarchs left behind heartbroken loved ones and he knew that he would see Lord Sumguy heartbroken as well as Alex. "Felix...." He heard the Empress' voice in his head. "Felix....thank you. Thank you...."

He saw himself in an alternate reality; looking at the Empress in her funeral attire for a brief moment before, when she smiled, he snapped back into reality. Bowing to Lord Sumguy and Alex, he spoke in a solemn and serious tone that he usually saved only for certain circumstances. "On behalf of the House of Schverzinski and the people of the Ixanian Empire, I give you, Lord Sumguy and Queen Alexandria III of the Second United Kingdom, my sincerest condolences for the loss of the deceased Hannah, God rest her soul. I pray that she may find peace and that you may find the courage to endure whatever lies ahead."

Wall helped Lord Sumguy to his feet. The Hegemon was still shaking as Wall supported him. He didnt seem to hear Alex speaking to him as he stared blankly ahead, unresponsive, tears still streaming down his face.

"I'll get us a private jet." Wall said, answering for his employer, rubbing his eyes to clear his vision as they were clouded by tears. "You there," He said in a gruff voice, pointing to Felix. "Come and help me get him into the car. Can you drive well?"

"Get us to the airport." Wall said, tossing Felix the keys. He opened his celphone and huuredly dialed a number. "Hello? Get us a private jet to the Second United Kingdom immediately. Yes it's a goddamned emergency, the Hegemon's wife is dead! It had better be there when we arrive." He hung up, and entered the car.

Felix kept uttering those words as he began driving swiftly towards the airport with the seriousness in his voice firmly planted within him; as if the Queen's death personally affected him in a way more so than just invoking memories of the death of a relative who once reigned as the Emperor of Ixania. When they reached the airport, Felix helped the others out and then looked at Lord Sumguy and Alex with a small smile; as if he was trying to reassure them that Hannah was in a better place. "Be strong, you two, be strong."

Felix noticed the private jet and spoke to Alex softly. "Do you want me to come with you, Alex?"

"Felix please come with me. I don't have the heart to do this".

Felix leaned into Alex and gave her a small and brief but still tender kiss. "You have the heart but I will come with you. You will always have me as a pillar of support."

Felix looked into Alex's eyes and smiled. "I would have enjoyed our first meeting more had none of this happened but it is a pleasure to be spending this time with you. Alex Hanover, I am in love with you." Felix felt the warmth of Alex's hand briefly before he proceeded to help Lord Sumguy into the plane. He looked at Alex and smiled.
