It wasn't too long, just a matter of days after the Hurricane had hit the islands. It was a pretty hard hit but Mokostana had been helping them get it all back together. Shino felt it would be prudent to resume diplomatic business.

"By my decree I have summoned a meeting with Diplomats of Neo-Ixania."

"Will this be with just you Shino?" Aya asked.

"For now. I encourage you all to remain on your respected islands to continue overseeing cleanup. I shall also encourage the Ixanian Diplomats, and eventually the Leader to meet with all State Leaders. Thank, this meeting is adjourned."

Neo-Ixania was frequently seen on the International Stage. It was gaining a reputation as a friendly state and very active.

Commander Rosette of the Milita was keeping peace as well as acting as escort for Neo-Ixania. As the NI ship arrived Rosette helped them. "I must ask you to surrender any weapons right away."

Enjoying a view of the shoreline was the novice diplomat Gertrude Baumgarten; the wife of the ambassador to Nosorepazzau who had decided to retire as her husband's secretary (being replaced by a close friend) in order to fulfill her newlyfound desire of being a diplomat in the service of her nation. A beautiful young woman of German ancestry who decided to wear one of her suits (http://www.baronboutique.com/womens_suit/cool_wool/womens_cool_wool_2but_suit.jpg) to her first ever diplomatic meeting, she was more calm than nervous as she learned from her husband how the diplomats work. In one hand she held her briefcase while the other was brushing back her hair; which donned the head of the woman who could serve as a...beautiful distraction. Despite that, Gertrude did not want to get herself entangled into anything like that. Seeing a woman helping her off the boat, Gertrude confessed that she carried no weapons with her but that the guards did. The guards abided by Rosette's demand and surrendered their weapons before Gertrude began to speak.

"I am Gertrude Baumgarten; a diplomat of the Ixanian Empire. I am here for the diplomatic meeting."

"Milady is expecting you. We'll shore up shortly." The boat reached shore Rosette lead them through the crowds of people rebuilding and replenishing themselves. "Watch your step, there is still quite a bit of debris around."

She led them into the Congressional Chambers. "Right this way, she'll be with you shortly, I'll go retrieve her. Your weapons are being kept on our boat by the local militia, you will get them back when you depart. Have a seat."

The chambers were of course empty as the senators had returned to their homes. Shino entered with her Marcella at her side.

"I'm Duchess Shino Villa, I'm the leader of the AHSCA chain as well as Aurora Island."

Gertrude nodded her head as she followed Rosette while looking at the debris that was around her. She assumed that it must have been a storm of some sort that caused such damage.
