It all began with Proposal 626 in the Peoples Congress of C.I. A resolution to begin International Relations. Carnelian Island made up of Carnelians (A native race that was highly resembling The Elven Race) were mixed about this. The debate was now approaching it's final hours. Grand Leader Myaarisa had ordered a vote to be done by this night, rain shine, hurricane, whatever! It had to be done. She too was mixed about it.

"By opening our borders, we invite more prosperity to our people and safety."

"By opening we invite danger, the world is very prejudice against those that are different. You see how they are treating Furry-Kind!"

"But with the right people on our side we can fend off any attack."

"Time!" Myaarisa said. "Let's end the debate and put it to a vote before we have to drudge through heavy rains and floods. All in favor of adopting Resolution 626 please show by the raising of hands."

100 hands shot up and 20 more went up with reluctance.

"All those opposed."

about 50 went up some also with reluctance.

"Then with a vote of 120-55, this Resolution Passes. Implication will be tomorrow at dawn. This session is adjourned. "


Maayarisa went home to her hut to be greeted by her lover Kayiziki.

"How did things go?" Kayiziki asked as she kissed her lovingly.

"We finally voted and it was approved."

"You sure opening to the outside world is a good thing. I mean we did discover to colonize just for us."

"I'm not sure in the slightest. But the People have spoken. Let's sleep now." She turned out the lantern.

As Dawn Arrived all delegates signed the Resolution that had passed. "Okay, let's begin." Discussion went underway, more debates regarding embassies and that matter. It was ultimately decided upon no embassies would be open within the Island it's self but just personal relations would be established.

The Peoples Republic of Carnelian Island have decided to end it's isolation and begin relations with the rest of you. You are welcome to come and discuss with the Leader her self. Please respond if you are interested.

The Ixanian Empire wishes to be the first nation to offer the olive branch to the nation of Carnelian Island and hopes that we can create a strong and fruitful friendship between us. Our Foreign Minister, Ivan Rucinsky, requests a meeting with your nation's leader whenever he or she is able to meet him.

Let me be one of th first to say, congradulations. You have ended your years of relative isolation and come out of your shell. I would personally be delighted to visit your beautiful country and talk of relations. You seem to be a relatively small nation and in need of assistance.

We prefer one at a time so that proper one-on-one's can be composed.

Yes, we agree that it would be best to have the meetings one-on-one. What exactly do you mean by 'steam' to the islands? Also, what are gun laws in your nation?

(Probably would be better that way then)

We say steam we refer to come in by ship. You may be able to enter by Water-type Aircraft but Boat is far easier. As such we don't have any guns on the island other than in the hands of our milita. Though there are no offical outlaws against it.
