Queen Belladonna announced during a press conference this morning addressing the altering of ka-Spel's name to "The Empire of..." that a new territory had been purchased and was officially the first territory in the newly formed "Empire of ka-Spel".

The Dominion of Ugolahn City lies just about 100 miles away from ka-Spel, surrounded entirely by forestation that has yet to be developed. Sources say that there is no habitation there as of yet, and the Royal Department of Immigration has begun taking applications for building permits from corporations, businesses, and private citizens both in and outside of ka-Spel.

The Queen also appointed Damien Riso as Prime Minister of Ugolahn City, citing a "promising future for the city under his rule." Riso had previously been assistant to the Queen's daughter, ka-Spel Secretary of State Princess Coldheart, and had extensive experience in foreign affairs. Rice refused to comment about what his plans for the region were, citing only that the city would be a "major player" in Her Majesty's declared Empire.

THE PLEASURE PALACE, ka-Spel

The elaborate golden doors to The Pleasure Palace opened yesterday afternoon for a ceremony of the utmost celebration.

Damien Riso, Prime Minister of The Dominion of Ugolahn City, was knighted by Her Majesty Queen Belladonna, citing Sir Damien Riso's management of Ugolahn City as a "cornerstone of the Empire of ka-Spel. His diplomatic and military enforcements are a credit to the Empire's International reputation. This marks the first knighting in a decade under the Queen's reign.

The Knighthood comes after Riso opened the gates to Ugolahn City to international businesses, strengthening bonds diplomatically and economically worldwide for the Dominion. He is the first Prime Minister to start international relations in this regard; even before the Queen herself had an opportunity to do so.

Those in attendance included the Royal Family, all Prime Ministers of all territories, and even Isabella DiCavarellini, renowned political figure on the world stage. Actresses, actors, and even pop musicians attended the event, calling it a "national milestone". Secretary of State Princess Coldheart, whom Riso has known since birth, gave the Induction speech.
