After a failed capitalist uprising by the exiled United Federal Republic of Zanski (UFRZ), the Socialist peoples union of Zanski has called for an election.
There is a curfew in place, and the military is ordered to ban anyone who steps outside. Here are the Choices:

* The Peoples Socialist Union(current, Azanist Socialist)

* United Front for Democracy and Unity (Party of the UFRZ, capitalist)

* Coalition of Workers and Peasants (Stalinist)

* Council for Stability and Freedom (Cenrtist Liberal)

* Restoration, Fraternity, Freedom-Union of Patriots(RFF-UP) (Extreme Right Wing, Fascist)

* Union of Workers and Democrats (Left-wing Capitalist)

While I am not enamored with any of your parties, feeling that Captialist is not a political party but an economic/ societal theory. And you didn't even include anything resembling Libertarianism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarianism)

"The Libertarians are neither left nor right: they believe in total individual liberty (pro-drug legalization, pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-home schooling, anti-gun control, etc.) and total economic freedom (anti-welfare, anti-government regulation of business, anti-income tax, pro-free trade, etc.). The LP espouses a classical laissez faire ideology which, they argue, means "more freedom, less government and lower taxes." *

* per the DIRECTORY OF U.S. POLITICAL PARTIES

ooc: I guess?

I thought I was voting moderate conservative? though the lack of a Green party is to be noted as I was hoping to bring up some kind of movement on II to see what takes off

green parties would have no role in zansk politics as what would they do when the terrorists in neighbouring Mhoudia launch rocket attacks or the socialists or fascists start a rebellion?these occurences are frequent in Zanski and thus people are pushed to find a party that actually has an answer to these problems. What would the greens do? plant trees round the rebels? give them flowers and say "lets just be cool, yeh?"?

OOC: Card carrying green here, in such a situation we'd encourage open negotiation and diplomacy. Also, much rebellion could be quelled by decentralizing power and focusing on a degree of economic self-sufficiency for these newly decentralized areas.

For reference of what I'm saying, please see Green values of: social justice, non-violence, decentralization, community-based economics, diversity, and responsibility.

The elections are going smoothly so far, the curfew is in place and as yet only 11 people have been jailed for abusing the curfew conditions.
