Official Communique to The Leaders of The World
Greetings fellow rulers, today Volzgrad celebrates as it begins its first ever election. Before, Volzgrad was run by monarchs and Soviet Premiers, now we may finally choose who rules our glorious nation. I; President Gregor Venkov, would like to resign my station and hand over the reins to the new generation. Any nation leader interested may choose to support a Volzgradien political party by either sending a cash (USD) or by simply voting in the polls. Thank you, and good luck to all parties involved!

The Black Iron Party:
Leader: Alexei Kurokov
Main Power Base: North Volzgrad, Korvograd Province
Political Type: Ultra-Nationalist
Stand on Military: Greatly support increased military spending, they are responsible for Volzgrad's military's recent and massive power increase.
Social Welfare: Do not support
Economy: Anti laisssez-faire, support land owners who work for the state.

Description: The Black Iron Party (AKA BIP) is probably the oldest and most powerful of the parties in the election. They are named after the obsidian like iron that is mined in Volzgrad's northern mountains. They are an offshoot of the Korvograd Revolutionary Front, which overthrew the Communist Regime. The recently resigned President Gregor Venkov was the head of the party until now; he was replaced by an upcoming factory owner named Alexei Kurokov. The BIP believes that Volzgrad needs to take care of its own needs first and that other nations should either be ignored, allied, or invaded.
The Volzgradien Workers Front:
Leader: Admiral Heinrich Fulier
Main Power Base: West Volzgrad, a small section of the south is also under their influence.
Political Type: Democratic Socialism
Stand on Military: It should remain the same, but with less funds going to the airforce (Fulier has a grudge against planes).
Social Welfare: All citizens would receive weekly donations of money from the government.
Economy: Land owners would be sacked of their positions and their land given to the citizens. State owned economy.

Description: A fairly large and powerful party. The VWF has a large power bas e in the South and the Eastern parts of Volzgrad. They are heavily backed by the Navy since their leader is High Admiral Heinrich Fulier. Most people in Volzgrad seem to believe that they will win.
The Green Party
Leader: Yulja Suskov
Main Power Base: Very small sections of the West
Political Type: Left wing Democrats
Stand on Military: Complete disarmament except for the police.
Social Welfare: Massive funds given to the Social Welfare Committee

Description: A very small party in the Far Western parts of Volzgrad. They have an almost non-existant chance of victory (even if they win, I'll find a way to kick them out of office.)
The United Imperial Czarist Party
Leader: "King" Nickolas III
Main Power Base: Scattered, centered around the capitol of St.Adriansburg.
Political Type: Oligarchy
Stand on Military: Increased spending on all branches, especially the Gvardia.
Social Welfare: Back Peasants!!

Description: A fairly new party to emerge on the National scene. It is headed by the confirmed descendant of King Nickolas II, who ruled until the Communist Revolution. Surprisingly, the UICP has gained a fair bit of political power in the center regions of Volzgrad; specifically around St.Adriansburg.
