Despite the differences and times, democracy always follows its course. With that consideration, even in war, Chief Governors must be allowed to be elected back in. There are no limit to terms, only a limit to the Peoples will to be lead by them. Every nation has its choices, and every nation is led by a man or woman who makes those choices.
So now, for the future course of Anagonia in debate, I give you the elections for a new Chief Governor. Choose the right one, and any declarations previous shall be made null and void. Choose the wrong one, and the enemy shall remain strong. But this is democracy of course, and as such, the People must choose.

Dunan Ruu
Age: 64
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 210 lbs

History
Chief Governor for over three decades, Dunan Ruu has served the interest of the People with amazing quality. Never the one to leave out, he has built up government programs to keep his People off the streets, and enacted environmental protocols to keep Anagonia's environment clean. His taxation laws enable every Anagonian to recieve back each tax year that which they have worked for, and allowed the pressure from high taxes to seem less of a burdon for those few million that are in the poorest regions.
Often called the Uniter, Dunan Ruu firmly retained the Sovereignty of each Member-Province. He has established protocols in the Grand Congress to defer to each Member-Province's governing body. The Constitution was amended several times to ease regional pressure, and allowed a universal governing system possible.
Foreign Policy
Dunan Ruu has an aggressive stance on foreign policy. Anyone against Nova Pictavia, or the Imperium, in his eyes should be oblierated. Anyone who threatens Anagonia, destroyed. Anyone who stands in the way of the United Republic, taken care of.
But his diplomatic stance is one of peace. Whenever a nation comes in friendship, that pact is honored forever, whether the nation in question remembers or not. Should a warring party ask for peace, Dunan has been known to give it.
In war however, Dunan Ruu has been known to order the execution of thousands of enemy soldiers just for opposing the might of the Republic.

History
Nothing to note expect that Johnny has a long history of abiding by the Peoples will while in power. However, later it is followed by defiance to the Imperial Senate, and even later followed by defiance to the Lord Emperor. His streak of youthful ignorance led to the Internal Strife between Drekamythia and Nodea Rudav, and almost cost the United Republic its existance.
Foreign Policy
Hater of Communists, and lover of Imperialists, Johnny Standford sees the Republic as weak. He also sees the Pictish/Anagonia Alliance as foolish, and desires to break Anagonia away from the Silver and Pictish Imperium. He would soon rather engage in wars against lesser nations to expand the land of Anagonia, and sees war as the only possible outcome to the future of Anagonia. This stance has made his opinion of other Member-Provinces ignorant, and those provinces see him as a threat to the stability of the United Republic.

Break-away from the Pictish Imperium, declaration of war against various nations, the start of the second Imperial Empire under Drekamythian rule.

History
Very new to politics, Dimitri desires nothing more than to retain the Republic and strengthen the bonds therein. His continued resolutions to the Grand Soviet Congress has proved intelligence and will to serve not only the People, but the interests of Government and a United Anagonia. Other than a short military history, Dimitri serves mainly as the representitive to the United Republic from Anagonia, and has constantly supported Dunan Ruu in his endeavors to soldify the Pictish/Anagonia Alliance and retain the ties to a continued Unified Republic of Anagonia.

Open to diplomacy, and a think-first-act-later type of individual, Dimitri presents his Foreign Agenda in a more cooperative light. War is third nature to Dimitri, a last resort. Diplomacy first, politics second. He favors anything supporting the People, and supports the Military in its foreign decisions and analysis of International Nations.

Strengthen the ties between Nova Pictavia and Anagonia, support all Foreign Decisions made by Dunan Ruu previously, and engage in a less aggressive foreign policy for a better outcome.
