First off, you mispelled including. Get firefox already and use the built in spellchecker. It would reduce a lot of people's complaints about you. Second off, its "logistical", not "logical". Your army can have logistics without being logical, but it can't function without the logistics. I cba to read any more.

If he wants 800 battleships, let him. It only takes one $50,000 missile to get through to sink each one of those multi-billion-dollar investments.

Your army is massive. 22 million troops not counting the MASSIVE amounts of men needed to crew your navy and air force. 800 Missouri class BB's would require 1.48 million men to crew. The costs of training alone would bankrupt you.

Don't bother trying to reason with him. People have tried since 2004 with his past accounts and yet, here he is.

If anything, we should convince him to build 800 superdreadnaughts.

1. considering the anti-missile defences ships have... I doubt one missile would take out a battleship unless somehow the defenses were off... also in general increased technology = reduced crew, to compare a modern battleship to a ww2 one is improper. (consider these new zumwalt class destroyers in comparison to a fletcher)

2. differentiate between active and reserve, to have 11% of your pop active is ludicrous

3. your airfoce is massively out of proportion, compared with the size of your army and the US, to raise the numbers to an equal amount the number of large ships and aircraft the US would have is nowhere near what you have at the current time. (just do a little dividing and multiplying to get better numbers)

4. katana and cutlass... one or the other... you dont need both, in general you have varients on one type of ceremonial sword.... also technically the M-14 is a d[es]m[ark] rifle

why the hell are you still using swords

there is a reason people have pistols and submachineguns now.... if you want your sailors to come charging at my submachinegun with a cutlass then fine let them die.... no wait ill just throw a flashbang and/ or a grenade down the corridor as they come running at me then go at them with a pistol....

swords vs gun= lose (unless you somehow manage to get close with the guy missing the entirety of the 30-100 rounds he has in his clip... with the close ranges that is highly improbable.... you would need a massive amount of sailors to even get close (or you could always have human shields.... but that's why we have grenades)

Out of curiosity, is there a real cultural reason for the swords? I mean, I know you could say "yes, we're Japanese-based, so we have katana" but that's not what I mean, and that wouldn't cover the cutlasses either. I mean, explain why soldiers would bother with them? Boarding actions are all well and good, but swords don't work in modern warfare for that, as mentioned above.

If they have swords, it would be a symbol. Take my Gendarme, for example. They're a gendarmerie, military-trained policing force (not to be confused with military police), and my nation has a long, strong tradition of fencing and their history has been full of duels for justice to avoid the courts. Noble children learn to fence in school as a matter of course, and many commoners take lessons as well, and fencing is one of the biggest sports in the country. The Gendarme carry rapiers for style. They know how to use them, but they wouldn't use them for military actions. It's there for appearance. Being a good fencer is improves your reputation amongst the upper class and even amongst many in the lower class, though less so with non-native citizens or residents. They're simply a status symbol and aren't worn when in combat (unless they're ambushed during an occasion, I suppose) as they just get in the way and are extra weight.

I shit you not. You want a big military and your economy not to suck and you'll have a giant ragtag peasant army like the North Koreans do.

It would take a alot of money to train 1.5 million crew for 800 battleships. Anyway, if you get invaded, probably half of your battleships wouldn't be able to run. :rolleyes:

For the record, i never said that one missile fired would make it through the defenses of a battleship. I said IF ONE got through, say, out of a whole barrage, then yeah, that sucker is sunk, or useless to the point where it might as well be.
