The Beatusian Army will be holding a weapons auction, in the desert west of Móðurborg. We must ask that no weapons be brought to the auction. You will be responsible to transport whatever you buy. We don't care what you do with it, but you got to get it out of our nation. We do request that you RSVP for this event, as we would not want to inadvertently shoot at you, thinking that you are rebels or something. The auction will begin very soon(RL tomorrow), so RSVP soon. Also there is limited room, and it will be first come first serve for a spot, so hurry hurry, while space is still available!

"The Auction is now open," General Westmoreland said from behind the podium that sat on the sand. "The first item up for bid is 10,000 AK-47s. These quality weapons are Soviet made, to original specifications. It is easy to clean and maintain, and is one of the most rugged and reliability weapons ever. We will start the bidding at $10,000 (USD)," General Westmoreland finished, as two women in bikinis walked in front of the podium carrying AK-47s. (Bidding will end in one days time.)

OOC: Could you make a quick checklist of what you will be selling and how much of it so I know what to bid on what not to?

Near the back, Daniel Mittland coughed quietly and looked at his companion. A career executive, he felt out of place amongst the many uniformed military officers in the auction. Thomas Rahner caught his friend's meaningful glance and raised his bidding card for Gen. Westmoreland to notice.

"10,000 dollars."

Whatever, thought Mittland, I go where Venner needs me, and I'm happy with that. He pulled his Blackberry from his pocket and notified both Venner's CEO and Kane's President of the bid.

"We have $10,000. Do I here $20,000?"

Colonel Robert Gat, a veteran of the Greali Coup, the Grestonian Civil War and the Shalrirochia War, walked into the large room. He wore is formal uniform, decorated with badges and metals of sorts that he received from his years of service. He was the highest ranked officer in Greston besides General John Chamberfeild and General Mark Walberg.

To his side was two other military officials. When Robert walked in he heard what was for sale and the starting price.

"Ak-47s? Those are our Official Primary Armamant: $20,000 USDs!"

"We have $20,000 USD, do I hear $30,000?" General Westmoreland asked.

The NCC buyer nodded to the Beatusian dealer indicating he would offer $30,000.

"$30,000 to the man in the back, do I hear 40,000?"

Rahner looked around the room at the various bidders. Makes sense, he thought. After all, the guns are going at just a few dollars each. Time to up the ante.

"80,000 for the guns, General Westmoreland."

Mittland looked up sharply at his friend. "You are aware of our maximum, Tom. Don't push it."

"Wouldn't dream of it. Let me remind you that 80k still places each weapon at only $8USD apiece."

Only half-satisfied, Mittland focused his attention again on his Blackberry.

Even though the auction has started already, the ASoGM would like to send some representatives to the auction. They will have cash to pay for anything they bid on.

Bishop Paul Raventrues was amazed by the display of weapons on the stand mat the front of the crowd. He was accompanied by Colonel Leopold Meyer von Schauensee, a Papal Guardian (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c7/Garde_noble_vatican_1.jpg). Along with him were Colonel Franz Pfyffer von Altishofen, the Cheif Accountant of the Military Treasury, and Jules Repond the Treasurer of the Holy City of Valtican City.

After recent news of a terrorist attack in the great city, safety and protection of it was necesary and they needed a way to get the money. Going to storefronts would be too expensive and they would be looked down upon. But here, theives, morons, and other untouchables were normal.

Bishop Raventrues flashed a look at Colonel Schauensee. He nodded. The Bishop raised his hand and screamed out his bid.

"$85,000 GCPs of the Holy Church!"

Knowing that their city was not well know he spoke up again, "Right, it would be about 85,000 USDs."

The Dominion of Sarrowquand will be sending five Grey's (bureaucrats) along with an armoured transport containing 10,000,000 Iron Nuggets. Will we be permitted to hire some guards?

General Goldberg leaned over to one of the accountants. "What use could we have for AKs?"

"We could arm the militia, or sell them to rebels for a healthy profit" replied the accountant.

"Alright," said the general. "General Westmoreland, 95,000 USD for the AKs!"

"I am outraged." whispered Bishop Raventrues to himself and his possy.

He jumped up and raised his bid.

"A bloody waste of money! 100,000 USDs from the Holy Church and the Holy Eye, Valtican City, for the AK-47s!"

"Go for it, after all according to the budget we spend 500 million dollars on toilet paper anyway." joked the accountant.

"110,000 USD for the rifles, General Westmoreland!" shouted Gen. Goldberg

"God damend blasphemers!"

Bishop Raventrues stomped his foot down on the floor as he screamed that, anger rushing into him.

"115,000 bloody USDs for the God foresaken AK-47s! This is for the Church!"

He sat back down and nudged Colonel Leopold Meyer von Schauensee. They both bent low so that no one else could hear them and in whispers the Bishop snapped out, "Give those blasphemers an offer they cannot refuse. They are getting away with ruining the welfare of the Church and something must be done. Takes these GCPs, bribe them, do what you must."

He snickered, they both knew what that meant.

In the invintation it did say not to bring any weapons but no one checked them and being that they were people of the Church nothing was expected. Colonel Leopold Meyer von Schauensee walked up to the group of accountants and people who were bidding against them. Behind him were three Zoustve Militia Men.

"I would like to talk to you for a moment thank you."

"I'm sorry sir, this area is in use by Atreidondian delegation. Please leave, or we will alert auction security" said one of the 10 Atreidondian marines guarding the general and accountants.

Seemingly unaware of the events taking place a mere 6 feet behind him, General Goldberg bid again, "118,000 USD for the guns, General Westmoreland."

"119,000 USDs for the said AK-47s."

He was a lot less angered knowing what was soon to come.

Colonel Leopold Meyer von Schauensee stood still, staring down the nearest marine. He was a very grand man, very tall and very smart, he was one of the best Papal Guardian in all of the Valtican. He easily had control over stupid people.

"Dear sir do you know who I am. I am Colonel Leopold Meyer von Schauensee of the Knights of the Modern Day Church, which has pledged alliegence to the united Holy Eye of the Holy Order of Valtican in the Most Holy and Serene City of Valtican City, home of the Most Holy and Seren Pope Peter-Thomas Aquantais."

He snapped and the three Zoustve Militia men left. They ran off but only two went back to their seats.

Alois Valderhan. He was the third Zoustve Militia Man. He had run to the little convoy of vehichles brought along with the Valtican Delegation. He had run to the back of the APC and lifted up the trunk. He extracted a long, old but working Yugoslavian Zastava M76 Sniper Rifle. He found four rounds laying on the floor of the APC. He picked them up and loaded them into the gun. All he had to do was find a good spot. He was pretty far off from the crowd and chaos and no one cared to turn around to spot him running around with a gun.

A few minutes later he found a good place. It was ontop of a parked APC of another delegation's. He said a quick prayer then he took aim. He quickly found his target, the head of General Goldberg. He looked like he was about to bid again.

Then it was his chance. He took a deep breath then slowly let it out. At the in between moment when he wasn't breathing in and was done breathing out he fired. It was a steady shot and prayed it would hit. The only bad part was he just forgot that he didn't put on a silencer.

"Yes Colonel, I know who you are." said the marine. He and the others were starting to get annoyed. "However, I cannot allow into the space currently being occupied by the Atreidondian delegation. We now have $120,000 USD from the Atreidondian delegation, going once, going twice, sold!" He slammed his hammer, and the AK-47s were moved off. "Our next item up for auction are 200 M151 MUTT." Another girl in a bikini drove the vehicle in front of the General. "We will start the bidding at $200,000 USD."

Rahner, dumbfounded by the complete lack of regard for firearm safety demonstrated by General Westmoreland, and still attempting to digest what had almost just occurred, quickly pulled out his cellphone and dialed the President of The Kane Corporation, Warren Murdoch.

"Murdoch here."

"Warren, these people are insane! You said this would be a civilized affair, and I've almost watched a delegate get assassinated! This is an ARMS SALE for god's sake, the LAST place you want violence to erupt!"

"Calm down, Tom. These people may not fully respect the sanctity of rational interactions, but they do have guns. Guns that we need. Neither Venner Inc nor Kane Corp manufacture arms, so we would do well to capitalize on whatever opportunities we can get. Keep your eyes open." And he hung up.

Mittland leaned in close. "What did he say?"

"That we can shove it. What's up for bidding?"

"Some ancient jeeps. Not worth it if we can find some Strikers or Humvees."

"Okay. Let's watch for now. "

Warily eyeing the Valtican delegation, they brought their attention back to the auciton. Bloody mystics, thought Rahner.

Gen. Chipres turned to his assistant " Well Crawford? Do you think we can buy these old rust buckets and turn a profit selling them to rebels?" Crawford replied "Yes Sir" Chipres stood "Good" "400,000 USD."

The ASoGM delegation, arriving late and in the middle of bidding, sat down. Looking at what was for auction, one of the GMians bid $201,000.

Gen. Chipres looked at his assistant. " Do you think we can make a profit selling these old rust buckets to rebels?" Crawford replied "Yes Sir, we can try we basically have unlimited funds" "Good" He stood 250,000 Amero (1Amero=1USD)

Gen. Chipres turned to his assistant " Well Crawford? Do you think we can buy these old rust buckets and turn a profit selling them to rebels?" Crawford replied "Yes Sir" Chipres stood "Good" "400,000 USD."

"Sold," General Westmoreland said, "To the man in the back, for $400,000 USD." The Jeep was driven off to the side, and another vehicle towed the next item up for auction in front of the podium. "Now up, we have 200 F-16 Fighter Aircraft. These are fully equipped, with drop tanks for extended endurance, and mid-air refueling capabilities."

"Sold," General Westmoreland said, "To the man in the back, for $400,000 USD." The Jeep was driven off to the side, and another vehicle towed the next item up for auction in front of the podium. "Now up, we have 200 F-16 Fighter Aircraft. These are fully equipped, with drop tanks for extended endurance, and mid-air refueling capabilities."

"We bid $2 Billion for these aircraft", one of the ASoGM delegation said.

"2.5 Billion USDs for the fighters!" shouted Goldberg

The same person from the ASoGM delegation raised his hand and said, "$3 billion".

"Its getting steep general," whispered one of the accountants.

"I know," he whispered back. "3.5 billion USD!" he shouted.

"And of what variant are said fighters?" Asked Mike.

"Four billion."

"5 billion for the fighters!"

A group of average-looking men clad in suits claiming to represent a multinational corporation watched the auction with great interest. One chattered animatedly on a Blackberry, while two others closely inspected the merchandise. Another was typing on a laptop, and a fifth and sixth man discreetly paid careful attention to those present at the auction, especially to those who were bidding and purchasing.

$5.1 billion!

Gen. Chipres looked at Crawford and Johnson and said "Lets piss some people off." He stood "On behalf of The Empire I bid 10 Billion Amero." He sat back down " I really hope those church reps. get angry again, that was entertaining." he told his assistants.

Mittland noticed the six men who stood out against the sea of uniforms. He tapped Rahner on the shoulder.

"Who are they?"

"Dunno, look like multicorp types."

"They certainly don't fit the average for this party."

"Neither do we."

"All the same, I'm keeping an eye on them."

"Suit yourself. I was thinking about bidding on the jets, but there are better ones out there. Maybe if we see some F-22s or F-35s. Or, so help us, some B-2 Spirits."

"Fat chance. Keep an eye out for some of the more modern weapons as well."

"Too steep for us General. Its not worth spending that kind of money on F-16s." said the Treasury Department Representative.

An accountant quickly added, "If it gets more advanced we can go higher. We should keep an eye on the NAA people; lets see how long it takes for their budget to run dry."

"$50,000,000 per F-16 is way beyond what they're worth. Maybe we can find something a little more up to date that we'll be able to bid on", one of the delegation whispered to the rest of his ASoGM peers.

They didn't want the aircrafts but they were still scared because of what happened to the Zoustve Militia Member. He body was probably still on that APC rotting away from being shot. If the delegation that bought the AKs got away they would tell about what happened at the auction and it would mean that the Church would be labelled evil. They couldn't work that way.

"What should we do?" said the Colonel to Bishop Paul Raventrues.

"All we have to do is wait. Wait and see if they sell sniper rifles. If they do we buy them and then use them on that delegation."

"Good idea."

They both sat back up and watched the bidding.

Gen. Chipres looked at Crawford and Johnson and said "Lets piss some people off." He stood "On behalf of The Empire I bid 10 Billion Amero." He sat back down " I really hope those church reps. get angry again, that was entertaining." he told his assistants.

"Sold, to the well dressed General," General Westmoreland said. "Next up for bidding, are these beautiful bullet proof vests, made from Kevlar. We have 100,000 for sale. We will start the bidding at $50,000 USD."

Rahner stood up.

The ASoGM's lead said, "$550,000 for the bulletproof vests".

"Higher?" Asked Rahner.

"Definitely." Mittland wrote down the maximum bid on a piece of paper and handed it to Rahner.

"It'll never come to that."

Rahner stood up again.

"1 million, General!"

Colonel Gat looked over to the other bidding delegations.

They got their planes and guns now we get the vests.

Their budget had to strain soon, they didn't have that much money to be able to bu everything for sale.

"I bid 1,000,001 USDs for the kevlars!"

We will be sending three men: Igor Isokof, Gregori Nemensky, and Asa Neormar

The three men arrived in a private jet. They were dressed very well in expensive suits. Little did the rest of the crowd know that despite their official message and their expensive lifestyle, these were not representatives from The Northern Baltic government, but rather from The Northern Baltic Mafia.

The ASoGM bids $50,000 for the bulletproof vests

"$3,000,000!" ,shouted Gregori. The other two nodded in approval.

"Higher?" Asked Rahner.

"Definitely." Mittland wrote down the maximum bid on a piece of paper and handed it to Rahner.

"It'll never come to that."

Rahner stood up again.

"1 million, General!"

One of the ASoGM group turned to his compatriots and whispered, "Seems like a hot item". The ASoGM lead then said, "$3.1 million for the vests".

"5 million, General!"

"7,500,000 USDs for the vets!" shouted Goldberg. That out to deter any more bids he though to himself.

"$8 million from the ASoGM".
