Too long have Griffincrest tried to pretend as if they have some fragment of "reputation" or "strength" in the international arena. Too long have they pretended as if all areas that contain those materials known as "black gold", those materials that they somehow feel is their birthright, and they use their weak force to overwhelm nations who cannot muster what they can. Too long have they somehow held sway over those who are weaker. It is time for those who are weaker to fight back.

It is to this end that the God-Emperor decrees that this alliance is well within His aims. While He does not feel that he quite has the time to get His country involved in the inner workings of this alliance, He has decreed that this alliance is in His interests to protect. To this aim, He has released the following statement: any nation who dares attack Belschaft or any other member of this alliance will face the wrath of the God-Emperor and his massive, powerful, unstoppable, invincible, infallible, impossible-to-describe-because-it-is-that-good, army. Correct. The God-Emperor is tired of the nonsense emanating from that pile of disgusting materials known as "Griffincrest Corporation".

To those fools who dare call themselves the "Corporate Alliance", the God-Emperor has a message: do not even dare to mess with Belschaft, this alliance, or even the dominion of the God-Emperor. And now Gentlemen, we have before us the reason I have decided to opt Karshkovia out of all alliances hence forth. For one, I do not wish to have my people dragged into a war because an alliance partner can not keep their diplomats from saying thing that will spiral out of control. For a second, I believe most of these misunderstandings can be resolved without using your troops...your young men and women...to kill each other on a battlefield to prove which of the leaders is 'right'. There have been times I had a deep urge to wipe out a nation such as Belschaft, but then I realize...what is the point? Nations like this will just slit their own throats anyway. They are not worth the wasted time, or more importantly, the lives of your people. If I don't see that, my people would and inform me that it is not their wish to fight an unimportant nation such as Belschaft....or Greston.

And I must say, with all the drama unfolding over this minor incident between Greston and the 'nation' of Belschaft (with a population of ten people, two goats, and a pig) which started all this fuss, it truely is akin to watching a bunch of children in a school yard hissing at each other over a he-said she-said rumor....and about as mature if not as pointless.

My suggestion would be to enjoy some fine Big Bud or Ice (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=548348) take a few breaths, listen to some soothing music and then think if a war over mere words is worth it. Is it worth the loss of life, the loss of equipment, and the loss of respect? My thoughts would be you would be, at that point, more interested in food than fighting...and isn't that the way it should be?

To facilitate peace, I have sent 500 kilos of our finest cured plants to each nation's leader in hopes that they will, in the words of Rodney King "All just get a bong".

I am using this account because the exetonia account was hit and affected by the great jolt crash meaning I could not edit/delete posts had a post count of n/a, no viewable signature etc

Now, yes DnD was on its second edition however, i have played 1st edition with a friend who had the original setup (or at least i think it was 1.0, with the map, the card board cutouts and the plastic figures iirc)Also grew up on Warhammer rpg (thanks to a local games club), Talsiman, Warhammer Quest and the old (i think it was)FASA Starfleet battles (now owned by ADB) which we used to rp the role of the ships captain.. that was fun..

You see, for decades the Griffencrest Corporation has provided to the Vanteland, and before that Vantanas herself, with the one thing she did not have: Oil. Now, years after the devastating end of the Vante-Gholgothic War, we depend on the oil from Griffincrest more than ever, as our oil-bearing colonies were stripped from us. Now, oil is the lifeblood of our nation, powering our small, but elite military, feeding our massive economic beast, and spiriting our citizens where they need be. As such, the Democratic Republic spurns any attempt to dislodge the Griffincrest Corporation in any way.
