Small terrorist group takes hostages! Moralite army inadquete for situation!

Just recently a radical anarchist group known only as "The Chefs" A probably reference to the anarchists cookbook, has taken a number of hostages, some say as many as 100, into an old bomb shelter. The moralite army, devastated by recent disasters such as the infected crisis and the civil war, can do little other then contain the problem, espicially with the lack of public support. "I hate to say this" Comments Moralite times reader "I truly do, but I think we need help from a foriegn power." The Moralite government has expressed it's need for help to other countrys.

COMMUNIQUE FROM THE CHEFS

Far too long have we been told by those in authority that we need to conform. Cut your hair, listen to soothing music, go to church, no Skittles before breakfast. We aim to destroy this oppressive government and give it back to the people. The covernment of Conservative Morality can't stop us, so they are going to invite other nations to occupy our country.

So, those citizens that are so sick of doing what's "right", you need to do what is right, and fight the invading armies that the government is going to allow to take over this country.

If you don't, than the 100 "guests" we have here in our Palace, well, they will meet an unfortunate end.

Dear Whatever's Left of the Government of Conservative Morality,

As always the Republic of Avalic is here to help you in a time of need, again. We will send, actually I think there are 20 air planes left from the bombing. I'll tell them to turn back and start searching around your entire nation and the AIA will turn on the tapping devices we put over your entire nation to see if we can hear any conversations from the terrorists.

Oh don't make me laugh. If the government dissolves the Communists or the Senate will be taking over and they don't care about your hostages, especially if they're capitalists. Either way your goals will never be complete so just hand over the hostages and fight off the Senate and Communists if you really want anarchy.

As you have yet to take us seriously, we are forced to go to drastic measures. As we speak, giant 13 inch TVs are being taken into the holding pens and we are going to play BetaMax episodes of the "Super Happy Fun Hour with Whip Whipperton". We have the entire series on BetaMax, and we are not afraid to use them.

Also, we have also gained possession a strain of the deadly virus called the Gray Death, and if supplies are not brought to us within an hour, we will release the virus into the Capital.

Looks like I finally am calling you anarchists. But we will not accept such terms as it does not say anything about the hostages. We will simply close down all civilian and military traffic to our country and have any vehicles taken down if they enter the territory of Avalic. We will issue a warning to all countries and the only thing you'll create is more oppressive government, which is obviously not what you want.

Chefs, that is totally impossible. How can however many of you there are release a virus into millions of cities from a bunker?

OOC: And honestly, I wish you'd be a little more serious.

OOC: Actually they would just need 1 infected citizen for each capital. And they would need 74,223 infected people, which would be impossible for a terrorist organization itself.

As the moralite police force surronded the bunker, they set up many barricades to prevent the anarchists from escaping. The police were armed with GUR-V4 (General Use Rifle) with laser sights and smoke grenade launchers. They sent a single man in to negotiate the peaceful release of the hostages without the dissoloution of the government...

OOC: No it's not a lie. The other amounts are deleted nations because of inactivity. Such a waste. They still keep them in their server space in case if anyone comes back.

Since you find that we are not a serious threat, I have enclosed pictures of one of the hostages, as the state controlled press like to call it. As you can see, this hostage is hanging onto life by a thread. This hostage is no longer a hostage, but a prisoner of the war against those that choose not to conform. If we do not get basic necessities like food and medical supplies, we will be forced to keep this prisoner here to die. If we get these supplies, we will release this prison, AND ONLY THIS PRISONER for medical treatment.

We tried to be nice to the conformists.

The Chinook touched down half a kilometer from the bunker. The troops unloaded and they went on foot to the barricades. They were carrying their HK Mark 23 sidearms, FN F2000 assault rifles and, in some cases, Barrett M82 sniper rifles.

Capt. Ericson, their leader, approached the policeman in charge and asked him what they could do.

The prisoner has been released to your custody. We demand our supplies. As far as those that are worried why the virus hasn't been unleashed, we have sent a communique to our men in Avalic's capital to release the virus. You can't stop the spread. Blocking off traffic will do no good, as we already have the virus there.

About 10 AIA agents than showed up in cars that had severaql concealed weapons within them, nothing too damaging though. One of them spoke and said, "Are there any openings at all? We can send a small robotic spy camera in there to view the situation."

OOC: How did the people get there anyway? We tapped all messages (as said on page 1) coming from Conservative Morality so we can block it in an instant. But anyways, if there is a loophole, there will be hell to pay, too bad we do not know the associates, but we will be using drastic measures. I think CM knows what drastic measures I might take. *wink*

The police Cheif sighed. "We can't risk anything yet, our negotiator is still in there, and if any rescue attempts are made they've threatned to kill the hostages. We're waiting for the right time, preferably when they've let their guard down."

The police cheif looked over at the agents, blinked, and then proceeded to tell them what they needed to know "There are only 4 air vents. Three are on the south side of the building, and one is on the top. There are fans and filters, so we haven't tried anything of the sort yet. However, we're not up with the latest in robotics technology, so maybe you can try something. The vents are 13 inches high by 7 inches wide."
That and we tapped all messages coming from Conservative Morality so we can block it in an instant.

OOC: Good thing we're allowed to do that here in CM :p

OOC: Yes, otherwise my government would be in big trouble with yours. Anyways, I reread the post and made a edit to that post.

OOC: No one ever placed the restriction that the Chefs were only made up of CM Nationals. Even with heightened immigration protection and a pervasive police force, that doesn't mean that there are people within your own borders that feel the same way as those that are in Conservative Morality. Furthermore, any good organization that plans worldwide revolution (which would pretty much be an anarchist organization that is able to infiltrate a bomb shelter with 100 or so hostages) would have ways to communicate instructions to other areas, even if communications from Conservative Morality to your country is tapped. They can communicate through intermediaries or communicate through code that would have to be found and then deciphered.

Even in the strongest grasp that a government has, things will slip through.

OOC: How would they ever know the Chefs anyways? It says your a small terrorist force so you can't have that many contacts. It seems too efficient for a small terrorist force. Worldwide revolution? I thought the revolution was only for CM. And a polite populace due to commercialization of deadly weapons such as the organ splitter. I do not know where they get these ideas. But we will see how this pans out. But the big question is how they ever got ahold of this virus.

We now have your hostage negotiator. If you wish to see him alive again, you will send in a camera and give us a live feed throughout the country.

OOC: Until then, the virus has not been released or at least only with very little reaction, but I think it would be easier if you just release it on a place other than the capital since there's less pervasive security since, it's not as important so there will probably be more shady individuals but it's still kind of stretching it out.

"The sheer irony of the situation. Okay give them your spy cameras men, we didn't even have to try, just broadcast it to an Avalican news center who will be sending a signal worldwide if any station is interested," said the spy who was forcing back a chuckle.

The police cheif reads the note. His face contorts, then he crumples it up. "We'll give them a live feed alright. Send them Camara-HSR. It's time for it's test run."

Official message from CM:
We have left the camara outside the door of the bunker. Retrieve it, and do not sever the chord. If you do, then you will no longer be broadcasting any signal.

Camera Feed Begins

"My name, it is unimportant. It is the message that counts.

"For too long, the governments of Conservative Morality has lied to us, and in turn compromised our freedoms. They have made originality and free thinking illegal.

"Conformity isn't a way of life, it is law here in Conservative Morality. I have far too long lived under this veil, and now, it's time for change.

"Here with me, I have your hostage negotiator, and with him, one of our prisoners. Her name is Sandra Gant. She has two children, and is pregnant with her third. Her husband was a soldier that lost his life in the Civil War. Isn't that correct?"

The anarchist steps aside and shows Sandra on the camera sitting next to the hostage negotiator. The anarchist then walks behind the negotiator, draws a firearm from its holster and holds it up to the back of his skull.

"Now, what is your name sir?"

"Mike Grenle."

"Well, Mike, I'm going to tell you how this works. I'm going to ask you questions. If you answer what I ask correctly, you will live, and I will let you and Mrs. Gant go. If you answer incorrectly, I will pull this trigger and end your life on live television."

Mike Grenle's eyes grow wide.

"What about her?"

"She goes back with the other prisoners. Do you have a wife and children?"

"Yes."

"A family man. Now, Mike, do you love your wife?"

"Yes."

"Good. Have you always loved your wife completely, forsaking all others? Now remember, if I think you're lying, you will not get another question."

"No," tears start to fall from Mike's eyes, "I had an affair before she got pregnant with our first child."

"You are a flawed and broken man. I will not kill you for that. Do you like music?"

"Yes." The stress was really starting to show on Mike's face, he was starting to sob.

"What did your father want you to be when you grow up?"

"A......a doctor."

Sandra,and the rest of the world watching this all closed their eyes. They didn't want to see what was about to happen to Mike. Another tear fell down Mike's cheek. The next sound surprised everyone.

"You two are free to go. You did not conform to your father's wishes, so there is a chance that you too will one day be free."

The anarchist walks up to the camera.

"We are not monsters. We just want freedom."

And with that, the anarchist shoots the camera, killing the feed.
