(OOC:finaly i got a good idea. Oh it might take a while for me to repoast i have terible spelling and i have to get someone to proof read most of what i post)

It was dark.

But not totally dark.

Only dark enough so you couldn’t see properly, what was going on. In the distance there was a square within said square there was densely spaced number of stars. The square was only small, and supplied very little light, probably the reason why it was not totally dark.

Something moved. A scratching noise over in the corner. It stopped. Nothing moved, total silence, it was so quiet you could just maybe here faint humming of energy barrier of the window keeping the air in and the eye popping, gut exploding ,vacuum out. So quiet.

Suddenly in a quick “Shup” type noise the door slid open streaming light across what now looked like some kind of cargo bay. The shadow of a well built man was in the column of light that had just shattered the darkness. He began to move into the bay. Quietness began to creep back. But it as scared away a sharply as it had before buy the “Shup” sound of the door sliding back and the return of darkness.

Click. Light filled every place in the bay. As if as in one clean sweep darkness had been completely wiped out, whatever remained of it retreated into the dark corners or behind storage cubes.

The man, dressed in a skin-tight body suit which stopped about halfway up the neck and with a grass green top with buttons all the way down the middle, there was a colour to tie a tie around but there seemed to be no tie. The tag just above the pocket on the left side of the shirt stated “Ensign Morbone”. He wore long pants, of the same colour with a fine crease down each leg. There was no need for boots as there were apart of the body suit.

The Man stood with his finger still on the wall next to a switch written above “Light”. He looked around once, sighed, and then walked over to one of the storage cubes about a meter and a half tall. He lifted up the top. He took the item, which was wrapped in brown paper, but it was in a slightly stretched out sphere shape about 30cm long. He took the item, closed the box and left the room, shutting of the light as he left leaving darkness and silence to once again to reclaim its rightful domain.

The corridors the Ensign walked down were only at half light. It was night shift. Very few people walked the square corridors; Ensign Morbone quickly made his way to the Captain’s quarters. He wanted to finish his shift so he could get some sleep before his next one started

He took two steps around the corner. First officer Nearson stood there. Morbone hid the item behind his back

“Aren’t you supposed to be sleeping?” blurted out Nearson

“Yes, but I just wanted to get some extra work done during the night”

“Well you know the rules; every crew member must get at leats 10 hours sleep every 28 hours” quoted Nearson.

“Yessir. I’m not tired, sir.”

“Hmm. Well, that might be the case. But a tired crew is an angry crew. And an angry crew is what, ensign?”

“An unordered crew.” responded Morbone

“Right you are. Now go get some sleep. You’ll need it for tomorrow.”

The ship there were on, “SS Cumber” was on routine scout through one of the border regions of Order Maker space, and tomorrow they reached border.

Nearson walked away down the corridor towards the bridge. Morbone sighed and made his way towards the Captain’s quarters, quickly

About 2 minutes later he reached the door to the Captain’s quarters, on the door read “Do not disturb” but Morbone had been given orders from the captain himself to retrieve the device and ignore what was written on his door. Morbone entered.

“Sir.” Morbone handed the captain the item

The Captain was a small man, shorter then Morbone, but he was wide and stocky, he wore the same body suite and uniform as Morbone the difference being the captain had a line of medals on the right side of his top

“Ah. Good work, Ensign.” The Captain took the item and placed it on the round glass table in the middle of his quarters, sat back down on his chair and picked up his book again.

“Sir, if I may, why didn’t you just go get this item yourself?”

The Captain looked angry and stood back up again

“No, you may not ask! You will do as you are told! No questions! You are dismissed!”

Morbone had a shocked face. The Captain was never that angry.

“Sir, yes sir!”

Morbone left the quarters.

As soon as Morbone left the captain ripped the paper off revealing a metallic stretched out orb like device, he pressed the big green button in the centre a low hum came out. He let go of the devise, it dropped slightly before recovering and hovering, he then proceeded to press the big red button on the top of device.

The captain stood anxiously. This would be his first mission as a part of The Order Makers Silent Brigade. A few seconds elapsed.

“Please press your hand underneath the orb” said an artificial voice emitting from the orb

The Captain felt an excruciatingly sharp pain head up towards his head via his arm. He fell to his knees, pulling the orb down which had somehow grafted it’s self to his hand

“Sorry about that, Captain. This was the only way we could get a message to you that could not be traced. Of course, as you know, only a select number of people within the military, and of course the Chairman and the top people in government know of out existence. Again, we are sorry for the pain.” said a masculine voice in the Captain’s mind.

“Just say what you need to quickly.” The Captain mumbled as he ground his teeth against the pain.

“Oh yes, sorry.” Every word pounded the captains head, his mind was clearly one of the more closed types. “We need your ship to observe an asteroid field colony close to the border. Said colony recently rebelled against us by declaring their independence.” The man spat at the last word. “We want you to gather as much info as you can. Without alerting any suspicion within the members of your crew. Understood?”

“YES!” screamed the Captain who clearly couldn’t take much more.

“No need to get so harsh. Oh yeah, mind tap, sorry. Keep the orb with you. We may need to keep in touch. We hope to see you later, Captain Jonas.”

The orb dropped off his hand. The Captain fell back onto the ground and blacked out.

The Captain awoke to a message from Nearson.

“Sir, we have reached the border and the edge of the asteroid field.”

Jonas looked out of the window. As far as he could see was just rocks and ice. His window was on the left side of the ship the right faced the border.

Ulkesh watched the Order Makers’ ship with a remote kind of detached calm. This calm came from the confidence that his own, possibly smaller but almost certainly more advanced, vessel, was unlikely to be detected, many light minutes from the asteroid colonies it was observing, in the corona of the system’s star, its sensor ‘petals’ spread widely, giving the Vorlon an, admittedly time delayed, means of observing exactly what happened on the distant colony.

He had come just at the mention of this people, their name itself held great interest for his race. And the news, albeit third hand, of a breakaway interested him greatly; he would do nothing, but observe, and see how they dealt with rebellion. To his mind, this would reveal a great deal about this race, and inform future policy.

No matter what happened, it would be of great interest.

(OOC: This post is actually more than just a glorified tag. They’re watching for a reason, here…)

Jonas left his quarters with his long grass green coat worn by captains when on duty, on the way towards the bridge, with the orb in his coat pocket. He didn’t notice or didn’t care that the lights in the hallways were at full light now indicating the “day” shift.

The bridge was small. In the centre facing the window sat 3 chairs one in the middle was for The Captain the one to the right was for the Commander and the left was for the councillor who was not present at the time. Behind the chairs 3 people stood working on the computers, they were the chief navigators and pilots.

Jonas yawned before making his way towards his seat

“good morning captain” said Nearson enthusiastically

“nuhhh” mumbled Jonas as he dropped into his chair slouching uncomfortably

“we have just scanned the region and we are about to move one”

The Captain grabbed the orb in his pocket firmly and sat upright suddenly looking more alive

“did you scan the asteroid field” questioned Jonas

“yes sir”

“Do a deep analysis of …” the Captain thought for a bit he studied this colony before he was thinking of a place right next to the colony he could scan “… the Long Fires sub section, next to the colony , but don’t change out location

“okay sir, but my I ask why”

Before the captain could respond a sudden wave of nausea suddenly came over Jonas as he ran out of the room into the hallway he felt a voice in his head Incoming Message over and over again, after he vomited over the floor he took out the orb and uncertainly placed his hand underneath it.

It sill hurt but the pain was only half as bad as before

“good morning, Jonas, feeling well, don’t answer I felt the same when I fist started using the orb but any way we need to get the info quick smart because the opening when we have the available ships is small as we need to keep this all “hush hush” for the general public, okay good, I wont keep you, I know you a busy man”

The orb dropped to the ground with a dull thump. Jonas on his hands and knees picked up the orb and thrust it back into his pocket as he stood back up and entered back into the bridge.

“Ahh, good your back it’s been 30 minutes where were you” said Nearman

“30 minutes…” Mumbled the captain
“we have completed the scans, sir”

“good , good, send the visuals to my office, were going to our next region set a course,” Jonas stumbled a bit “ill be in my office”

Jonas moved to a down the bridge to a door next to the large window.

“lights 20 %” commanded the captain.

The lights obeyed. On the screen at his desk showed the asteroids in main focus and to the right a lage colony embedded into a huge asteroid with connecting tubes, towards other asteroids. Jonas pulled as much info as he could about the colony as he watched and the info he pulled out the orb and pressed began to call out.

It only tingled this time.

“oh, that was unexpected I thought the colony would have had more ships” obviously the orb could use the captains own eyes better then he could “hmm I see, well Captain I will be putting in a good word with Kupagi looks like you may be in for a promotion”

A bright brilliant flash of light hit that captain, intelligently selecting various memories to replace that would not alert the crew.

Jonas fell the the ground unconscious, when he awakes he will believe for the past 5 days he has been sick with the flu, and the orb was just a personal ornemant. He fell inconcious on the floor

The ship looked like it was stretching out, before it’s disappearance leaving a faint misty train behind which quickly vanished
* * *
Some 7 hours latter a much lager ship entered the vasinity, the same way the scout left, at least twice the size of the smaller scout.

“The SS Era Vulgaris: Cruiser Class” was bossed down the starboard side of the ship

“sir, yes sir, okay sir, I understand” was all the commander could hear as his captain talked into the computer module.

“what’s our mission, sir” The Captain and the commander moved back to there seats on the bridge “we need to know, sir we can’t fight something we know nothing about”

The captain looks at his commander with a slightly amused look

“Heira, sorry to say this but I can’t tell you I’ve been given orders not to tell you who we are engaging in combat with, you’re targets will be marked in red on the computer targeting system”

Heira nodded in not so much as a agreement but more acceptance, he knew full well the most important rule of service is to maintain order and obeying the captain was the best way to maintain order.

Sirens blazed on all decks

“WARNING, WARNING BATTLE STATIONS, BATTLE STATIONS, COMBAT WILL BEGIN ON 5 MINUTES”

The ship gradually began to move, but picked up speed quickly moving towards the asteroid field.

Thin white beams shot out of the ship in forward direction taking out the biggest rocks,(The captain could of just let them go but he wanted to show off the ships fire power to the colony to instil fear) the smaller one’s were just left for the shild to deal with. witch pulsed green every time a asteroid hit it.

The Era Vulgaris entered asteroid clearing with the colony clearly visible underneath them both, were a slightly smaller ship was waiting. The ship was of the same design of the Era Vulgaris but had the words “ SS Confederate: Escort Class” written on the same side and the Era vulgarises name was written.

A number smaller craft, capable of holding about 5 people came out of the back of both ships heading for the other ship, S2LBVs or Space to land boarding vehicles. While the S2LBVs fought both of the lager ships began exchanging energy weapons exchange. Making both of there shields glow a brilliant green.

Energy weapons were only designed to bring down the shielding as material weapons had little to no affect on shielding and energy weapons had no affect on most ship armour so all ships in the Order Makers fleet applied a strategy of using both forms of weapons to full affect

Battle ensued.
The Order Makers

The battle was won. With little casualties on the part of the Vulgaris. Separatists were more often then not, not that very organised.

The Confederate was captures heavily damaged, but the commander and the captain “lucky” enough (I use the term loosely) to survive there ships destruction. The Captain of the Vulgaris himself arrested them for disturbing the peace, in sighting rebellion and engaging in combat with a Order Maker ship, all together the punishment would be 700 years in high security military prison, Compleat isolation and no natural light. The Captain sent them yesterday morning in a small drone ship with 3 security guards.

The Captain of the Vulgaris watched on his monitor as the small ship went out of long range sensors

“Captain, I’ve gone over and proofed your speech for the colonists tomorrow” said a tall woman with long blond hair, looking very much like the stereotypical 50’s secutary

“Ahh, thank you very much, Jan” Jan was a military sectary; secutaries were only posted on lager ships because of the demand on captains to run them.

Jan wore a strong perfume fragrance that she did usually were, the Caption just smiled as she moved over, uncertainly. As she place the paper on the desk she slid her hand across the desk towards the captain nocking a pen on the ground

“Oh I’m sorry”

“It’s all right ill get it”

The Captain ducked under the desk to look for the pen, as he did Jan leaned over the desk to look down the over side, she could of easily moved around the desk to help, but helping was not her intention.

As the captains head popped up, Jams cleavage was there staring the captain in the face.

“Ahhh!” the Captain pushed back on the desk sending his chair and himself flying back into the book shelf behind him. Several books detailing, captain crew relations fell onto his head

“Ha-ha, oh Deividdo you’re so silly”

Deividdo stood up suddenly starigting his top

“you should refer to me Captain, Secutary”

“what ever you say captain,”

Deividdo watched as Jan purposly shook he hips as she left

“why can’t they just accept that I’m married” mumble the captain

a transmition came in on the moneter, it was coming form the small ship he sent out earlyer

“we have a sistuation here, the captain and his commander over powered the gaurds!, I maneged to lock myslef in the cockpit but there overwiting the systems from the over side”

On the moneter the door behind the man opened half way and a arm came through fumbeling for the door pannel

“Help quick”

The two men came in with there stolen side arms

“BANG” the captain shudered as he saw half the mans head get blown away and the transmition end

Deividdo swiched to view the long range scan view, he saw the ship move just slighty in the Vulgarises view,

The captain knew they were heading towards the border, but they were outside sensor range

“Commander” the captain spoke into a drak patch of the desk while holding down a button “who owns the region of space byond the border”

“we don’t know sir, that was what the scout wich came earlyer was sent to do, but we haven’t been able to get in touch with the captain, they keep saying he is sick”

“okay, send this a message into the area, “the ship entering your space is not opperating under the orders from us, it conatians crimminals wanted for various crimes, punish them as you will or send them back to us.” Okay no we wait”

The captain moved towards his window an stood intently looking out over the colony with a deep sence of didsatisfaction and regert as he looked out over the colony.

If you had been a fly on the wall of the NKS 'Nimazu' you'd have been a pretty lucky fly if you were male.

The Neo-Kirisuban Federation sent out fast agile Pioneer class cruisers as part of their exploration fleet. The 'Nimazu' had an all female crew of 60 souls and was well armed for its size also having a cloaking device.

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a354/nihongaz/pioneerclass2.jpg

Captain Miki Suzuki was sitting in her ready room reading over the reports from the various departments. They were three months into a year long cruise and getting further away from home as they explored.

At present the cloak wasn't activated and they dropped to impulse as they entered this star system less than two light years away from the source of the distress call.

When the Captain was told she ordered them to set a course towards it. This was new space for them and she wasn't taking any chances.

However the secondary message did clear things up a bit and the original distress call when viewed again showed Miki of the need to be careful.

There was always two sides to every story and if Captain Suzuki's crew had to fight they would and make the aggressors regret the day the cross the Neo Kirisuban Federation.

Then the drone ship came into sight..

The prisoners would have been incredibly lucky had they managed to make it across the boarder without bloodshed. Their story would have held up well and they would have been relocated to one of the states that looked to Cypria for protection. However to anyone who entered the ship, three men where dead, with their pieces scattered throughout it. Had they time to clean the mess up, it might not have been a problem, but the moment the message had been sent the Police Cruiser APF Illogical Reasoning had been ready to pick them up, and the very moment they had crossed the boarder they had been tagged by Listening Post #2183. The intercept had been quick.

SU: LP#2183
RU: APFIR*ID-1321
TM: Targeted Unit just crossed the border. (data-file)

SU: APFIR*ID-1321

TM: Copy, intercept Jump acquired.

The Police cruiser had jumped out only a few kilometres from the small transport, and a single Nuclear Warhead was primed to use on the chance the ship became hostile. The two crew seemed however to call for help and some sort of refuge, they told of an oppressive regime, they told of how they where trying to escape political oppression, it was all very eloquently put.

Trouble was when that when units where on the ship, there was still blood across several walls, and only a small sensor scan was required to tell the bodies where still in the ship.

“Good Captain.” The Drone said, turning itself towards the man standing before him. “I count several litres of blood spilt across the floor in this hallway, and blood splatter is consistent with dragging a corpse, then there it is evident you have killed at least one other person, which is double homicide, including mindstate death.”

From its casing four metal wristbands extended downwards, ready to handcuff the two soldiers. The Commander however had different plants, as he pulled the pistol up and fired to shots. The Drones shield flared, and the bullets hovered in mid air flattened so they looked like coins.

Suddenly the Drone’s casing flicked open and a single Micro-Missile launched out, punching into the head of the man attempting to shoot him, on its return trip, the missile pushed itself up against the back of the Captain as his comrades body was still falling to the floor.

“Oh just try it.” He said, as the missile pressed a little harder to make a point. “We won’t send you back, we will put you through the judicial system here, and we won’t send you to some horrible torture for the rest of your life. But you murdered three people, and you can’t go unpunished.”

The man sort of nodded as the cuffs where put on him. The Police Cruiser took him aboard, taking the transport with them as evidence.

And inside the system, a single Cyclone class Diplomatic Frigate Not That Lost appeared in the same system as the Vulgaris.

Certainly, were would you like to talk, how about on the colony i have recently given a speach there, you may take as much security as you will, i'm just sending through plans on the colony

The captain was relived by the capture of the criminals.

He knew the punishment would have been harsh, he is one of the campaigners against compleat isolation as a punishment.

The resion punishments were so harsh for in sighting rebelion was because of the litterely limmetles amount of threats that exsist in space, and that a unifyed nation is alot stronger then squabeling states, all the people on the centeral worlds agreed with this phylosophy however the outer systems and colonys were less ... agreeable. However many people were lobbying against such harsh punishments.

That was the mail resion for having whoever found them sould deel with them, in the hope of a better punishment.

But the capatin was not about to start a war about it, he still agreed along with most lobbyists that a unifyed nation is safer, and rebeling colonys not only endagered them selfs but every one else as well.

"Jan" shouted the captain "Get my formal dress please"

Seeing the drone ship deal with Captain Suzuki got on with doing what she did best. Exploring round the space round the border but not crossing it yet.

The asteroids themselves held interest for these warrior-explorers and there were enough of them on the other side of the border to justify a survey.

So a pair of engineers once suited up took a shuttlepod out and did a more complete survey. Most asteroids were just rocks in space but occasionally they contained minerals and valuable ores. Not just latinum which formed the basis of coins back home but titanium and other things this ship could use.

Attention foren shuttle, you are in Order Maker space. state your intentions, and identity.

Most of the time it was just stray, personal ships that came accros the border, most of the time the local police deel with them swiftly. More often then not they are just explorers or someone who's navigation is broken, the local police just point them in the right direction. Usualy the use of force is a very rare occorence, unless they are known criminals...

Hearing the hail the mother ship answered instead of the shuttlepod.

"I am Captain Suzuki from the Neo Kirisuban starship 'Nimazu'. We are explorers and were just checking out the asteroids. We purposely didn't cross the border even during the shuttle mission" she replied.

With visual communications activated a stunning asian woman could be seen. She had olive skin, dark eyes and had her long black hair in a long pony tail.

Her uniform was a red wrap over jacket with black trousers and a sheathed dagger could be seen on her left hip as she sat in the command chair.

The shuttle was recalled for now and it flew back to its mothership until the problems got smoothed out.

“Hello, my name is Dukeko Enma I am the tempory governor if this colony”

Enma was about 40 or 50 she had brown hair tied into a bun and, she wore a feminine business suit with a long skirt and black stockings, she had a pail completion, and broad features. She was more hansom then pretty, but she obviously took grate care in how she looks when on duty.

“It has come to my attention that one of your ships has crossed the border into the asteroid field , I have talked to my superiors and they except that this all may have been a honest mistake, they have asked me to tell you that all of the asteroid field is past the border” Her expression remained blank “This area of out space is currently still unstable, and subsequently no one is allowed in or out until the whole situation is resolved”

18-04-2008, 13:32
The Neo Kirisuban Captain was in her late 20's but certainly didn't lack command experience.

"Thank you for clarifying the situation Governor Enma. I also understand why you won't let any other shipping cross the border in the meantime. Stabilty and order are very important in a star system" she replied to the female governor.

"If we can't come to you may we invite you aboard our ship? We journey to meet other cultures and to establish friendly relations along the way."

"I accept you invitation, i hope you don't mind me takeing a few gaurds it's standerd proceadure too take at least two, but given out current situatation i have decided to take a senatorial gaurd major, they are out best" Enma's face was still black be it a little less cold if thats possible "i will be there within the hour"

Enma cut of the tranmition and informed the capatain of the vulgaris to watch out for anything suspicious

"are you insane!" Captain Deividdo spat over the comms "After what happpend you intend to go off introducing our slefs to stangers, and across the border i might add, you can't be possibly considering this"

"Captain you have been given orders to protect me by the Chairman, and as you know i don't take orders from the chairman, so whatever i do you have to protect me" Her voice remained calm "you have no say in the matter"

The captain sighed over the com' as Enma steped into the armered transpot "very well, mrs' we will be watching, can i at least ask you to take a transpoter entry none in case there is a emergency"

"I allready have one" Enma looked down at her bag she was carrying and then sat down in the back as the door closed with a fast "shup" behind her

The transpot left the departure bay and headed towards the ship across the border

The senatorial gaurd didn't move at all untill they reaced there destination, he just sat there. You couldn't see his face, his entire boddy was coverd in a skin-tight suit, and he had a the head peice on as well, the only weapon he carried was a knife and a small hand gun, when asked why he just responded with "this is all i need, well it all deppends on the enviroment i guess"

The ship reached it's destination

The transport was allowed to dock and the Lady Governor was greeted by Captain Suzuki and two female samurai wearing the same uniform as their captain.

Both samurai were young and wore both swords and had a hand phaser in a holster.

"Governor Enma welcome to the 'Nimazu'" Captain Suzuki replied once the airlock door was opened up.

"you saied you wished to know more about us, it is our wish to know more about other nations and races as well, "the more you know, the safer you are" thats what my father allways saied to me" Enma's face was a little lighter, but she still didn't smile

"My ready room just of the bridge should suffice" Miki Suzuki replied leading the way to a turbolift.

The journey was quick and led to the all female crewed bridge, the small party of five entering the ready room.

You normally didn't need guards for a diplomatic meeting but given they didn't know each other yet it was necessary.

"May I offer you some tea?" Miki asked heading over to her personal food replicator having offered the governor a chair.
