OOC: If you have not yet RSVPed, please do so on the invitation thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=553708) or TG me before jumping in.

The sun was shining and skipping across the still blue water below the Zinnia Cove Waterfront Ballroom. The large, pristinely white building sate nobly on top of one of the many lush, rocky cliffs making up the north coast of Zinaire. Below the impeccably clean glass roof of the the ballroom, workers were making the final preparations for the gala that would start in the afternoon. Against the ballroom's outside walls, operatives from three agencies– the Zinairian National Police Department (ZNPD), the Zinairian Army's Diplomatic Defense Division and the Army's Tactical Operations Division (TOD)– rested before a long shift protecting the rulers of half a dozen countries and important diplomats from a handful more. At every one of their waists there was an HK Mark 23 (SOCOM) pistol, the men from ZNPD carried P90s, those from the Diplomatic Defense Division– F2000s and the operatives from TOD had their heavy Barrett M82 sniper rifles resting at their feet.

At the Zinairian International Airport in Zinaire City, around 50 km away, a line of Bell 430 helicopters was waiting to take dignitaries to the gala.

Empress Kaori always had the worst phobia about flying. She practically had to be dragged on. Her daughter however liked flying but hated thunder and lightning. Thus when the plane entered a stormy area of turbulence both of them were peterfied beyond belief. "Eriko, you should sleep."

"Yeah? You should too mother!"

"Who can sleep with this...Turbulence."

Thunder crashed

"Who can sleep with that much thunder."

Bantering between them usually eased whatever fears and anxieties they were having at the moment. The plane landed at last with out incident. Both women proceeded to the Airport bathroom to change into Kimonos. Eriko's was a pink floral Kimono, while Kaori's was a sky blue Kimono. Eriko's hair was lose but Kaori's was neatly tied back with a matching ribbon. "Well let's go meet our hosts honey."

Both walked out now dressed drawing some eyes of curious on-lookers

The first of many airplanes landed onto the Zinairian National Airbase which, right now held 5,000 fireworks. The Airbus ACJ landed onto the roadway, 150 pyrotechnicians ready to plan a fireworks show. The plane stopped and the door opened and a stairway came out of the plane.

IC:

Having gotten clearance from the tower, the slightly noisy C-144 Supersonic Transport carrying President Arnold and General Bernard Hardbeck touch down on the main runway, and taxied to the V.I.P ramp.

When the C-144 (Think Tu-144D Charger) came to a stop, stairs rolled down from the side of the cockpit, and the forward part of the nose remained down. President Arnold stepped out first, in his Air Force dress blues that he had worn as a four-star General, and his right chest had about 10 different medals hanging off of it. He stepped cautiously down the stairs, and then General Hardbeck emerged.

General Bernard Hardbeck resembled Patton somewhat, but was his own toughened look , and he even had an empty holster on his hip for a Colt 1873 pistol. He had just two medals hanging off, not wanting to show off his various medals.

John conferred with him at the bottom of the stairs, "I think we're supposed to go to those Bell 430's over there.." Nodding, General Hardbeck followed President Arnold to the helicopters..

At the airport, the Air Force Pilot Officer who was in charge of the helicopters noticed two oddly dressed women approaching, he called over one of the pilots.

"That's the empress of Nippon Kyokai and her daughter. They're early, so fly over around and show 'em the sights a bit, then land at the ballroom."

Just then the officer's radio buzzed and crackled something about a delegation arriving at the harbor. The Pilot Officer motioned another Airman over.

"Head on down to the harbor and pick up the people from AHSCA."

At the Zinairian National Airbase the plane containing the pyrotechnicians from Avalic landed. A group of Airmen swarmed the plane, ready to unload the fireworks and put them on the waiting Chinook helicopters. A Captain from the compound's army base pushed through the crowd to inspect the fireworks. Once he was done, the Airmen loaded them onto a Chinook with the technicians climbing into the other three. The helicopters took off at full throttle towards the ballroom about 100 km away.

Back at the ZIA, two men in military dress approached the helicopters. The Pilot Officer gave instructions to another Airman before greeting the Calizorinstanian delegation and showing them to their helicopter.

In his comfortable seat onboard one of Zaheran's official airliners, Marius Stee, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Holy Empire of Zaheran, finished his briefing papers about Zinaire and fastened his seatbelt as the airplane made an elegant landing on the airport. He walked out of the plane, followed by two muscular, if not especially bright, men in black suits going by the names of Arnold and Hans. The many medals on his uniform jacket clinked as he walked towards the helicopters.

"Mother is afraid of flying."

"She speaks the truth. "

"We do appreciate the offer though."

"Could you maybe give us a ground tour?"

Back at the ZIA, two men in military dress approached the helicopters. The Pilot Officer gave instructions to another Airman before greeting the Calizorinstanian delegation and showing them to their helicopter.

John and General Hardbeck got into their assigned Bell 430, and as they strapped themselves in John said "I'd bet you've flown on a 430 before Bernard. Didn't you do a recon mission in a civilian 430 over Alpine once?" Bernard chuckled and he said "That I did, though pot shots were taken at me, so I had to get out of there quick. Well, this time, it should go good." John looked outside and he said to the Pilot Officer "The Hawker Cossacks should arrive here shortly. I guess we're a bit early for the Gala."

The Pilot Officer spotted Marius Stee and his two bodyguards approaching. He went to greet them while motioning for an Airman to start his helicopter.

Just before the officer could shake Mr. Stee's hand, the pilot who was supposed to fly the empress tapped his shoulder.

"The empress is afraid of flying, they want a ground tour."

"Go put them in that Royale over there and tell the driver to make it a short tour, we don't want them to be late."

The Airman nodded and ran back to the women from Nippon Kyokai.

After finally greeting Mr. Stee, the Pilot Officer headed back to the helicopter containing the Calizorinstanians to give final instructions to the pilot. As he was leaving, the president told him the Cossacks were on the way.

"Just make sure they land at the airbase. Good seeing you Mr. President, General."

Marrion Averly, head of the pyrotechnicians was speaking with the other pyrotechnicians. "Okay, we put these fireworks here, here, and here. Than we start setting down these fireworks in this group, this is the most important group though as this will be the finale. When I say the codeword "Peace" set all these fireworks but wait till the other one finishes it's spectacle and then in the group over here, it's important to set them exactly on the same time. Luckily I took these laptops with us so setting all these fireworks will be easier for us to manage. Though I only brought 20 of them so we must organize into groups..." and the planning kept going on.

At the ballroom, Lieutenant Harrelson (OOC: S.W.A.T. reference for the win!) of the ZNPD watched the pyrotechnicians closely. He knew they were legit, but he had always been trained not to trust people you didn't know with two and a half tons of explosives.

The Airman seeing to the empress shook his head, "No, it's no problem at all. Have a good drive." He got up on his tiptoes and tapped the top of the SUV and the driver took off.

On National Plaza, the prime minister, Gregory Bishop, was preparing to go to the ball himself. His wife, Kristen, got into the helicopter with him and two bodyguards climbed in afterwords. Other helicopters containing people such as Sir Anthony Marcus (Minister of Foreign Affairs) and Sir Jackson Miller (Chancellor of Diplomatic Affairs), Lady Dorothy Brown (Chancellor of International Trade) and Lady Grace Underwood (Minister of Transportation) took off from rooftops all along National Plaza.

Brendan Lakehart, the CEO of Zinairian Motor Works was also en route to the ballroom. He was riding in one of his Royale Class SUVs along with his wife Victoria and a body guard.

At the airbase, two Cossack jets landed and taxied into a waiting hangar. More Airmen swarmed them and a Squadron Leader headed over to inspect them and insure that they disarmed.

Meanwhile, the helicopter containing Aya and Marco flew along the colorful, rocky coast of northern Zinaire.

The Zaheranians climbed into the helicopter. Marius strapped in, slightly nervous. It was a long time ago he had last travelled by helicopter. His bodyguards were not especially stimulating to talk with, so he leaned back and thought about the gala he would attend. There would be some spectacular displays from a number of air forces, he had heard, and hopefully he could get some work done too, maybe work out a few trade agreements. He smiled. He could serve his country and have fun while doing it. This truly was the perfect job.

Several hundred miles off the Zinairian coast 2 Hawker 800s were being launched at different locations. One was near the capitol building, and another was near the president's home.

At the capitol building President David Avalice and Avalic Automobile Industry President, Alan Rendo greeted each other at the President's Office in the capitol building. "Hello Alan, right on time, like always," said the president. "Well I can't just say know to my favorite benefactor, your the reason why my company is booming in business, I wonder what foreign cars I can import from the Zinaire, but more importantly what cars can I export," said Alan. "Always about buisness aren't you? Well, it's time to go, the AIA agents are waiting for us." They exited the capitol building and entered the business jet with the 2 AIA agents.

At the president's home, Emily Avalice was saying goodbye to her kids for the night. "All right you two, mommies going to a giant political gathering. You two be nice to your nanny okay?" "Okay mommy." said the two children in unison. Then she entered the plan with 2 Avalic Peace Corps soldiers and the plane flew into the air.

The pilots raised the canopies, and as they came to a stop, the leader, Colonel Breckenhaur said "It's alright chaps, we didn't carry any missiles, and our cannons as far as we know are completely empty. We were ordered to disarm before we left."

Meanwhile, President Arnold looked at the sights below him, as they flew along in the Bell 430 and he said "I've always have loved to fly, and this is why, to see the pretty countryside." General Hardbeck was reading a newspaper, too absorbed to look outside.

At the Zinairian National Airbase, one of the two Supermarine Storke's that were tested over the skies was being prepared to launch with two F-14 Tomcats that were also being stationed there.

"Captain."

The pilot of the Storke turned around and saw President Montague standing there.

"I hope that tonight's test runs smoothly. We just put in a rather large order for more of these jets, and this is the first time we've flown at night. Remember, only engage the guns if enemy aircraft engage you first."

"Hey! Hey! Where are you going? The air show isn't for a couple hours! We haven't even done our final inspection!"

The Squadron Leader began checking the weapons systems. He came across the fake missiles.

"Hey, what are these? We said no missiles."

"They're simulated, for the show."

"No one said anything about missiles. It's just a fly-by." He called one of the waiting Airmen over. "Help me get these out of here."

"Good afternoon, Mr. President! This must be your lovely wife, and this the successful automotive man we've heard so much about. Mr. Lakehart should arrive very shortly and then you fellows can talk business."

At the airbase, the Squadron Leader realized he'd made a mistake– either that or something weird was going on.

"Look, I'll call the Vice-Marshall and he'll come down and sort everything out."

The Squadron Leader hurried across the hangar to a telephone and called the VM.

A couple minutes later, the Vice-Marshall appeared at the hangar door. "Okay, what's going on here?"

The Squadron Leader and CO told the story while the VM listened intently. "Okay, I'll tell you what. We can't let you use those missiles for the fly-by, but afterwords, how about you come back here and we'll load you up and then you can do whatever tests you want over the jungle south of the Mountains. This is the last opportunity that we've got to run this test due to a problem getting the inspection done when the jets got here. Your inspectors weren't adequately informed of the systems that these jets, even though we provided copies of all materials concerning this new flight system that we purchased.

"Furthermore, last nights test was cancelled due to the airspace being needed for the arrivals of the other VIPs for tonight's gala. This caused us to lose the use of one of our test jets due to the need to transport a VIP from Bourgenstein to Razorl.

The commanding officer and the Zinairian Airmen all pull their sidearms and discharge them in the hangar, killing the man.

The aircraft in question that we will be using are two Supermarine Storke FGR.1 Light Fighters that will only have the cannons operable during the test. All other weaponry will be disabled.

Once confirmation came from the tower, the jet slowly descended onto the runway and skidded across it, slowly coming to a halt. The portable staircase was positioned at the door and Emperor Quaeus and Senator Marcus Atraius descended down the staircase. The Emperor wore traditional roman sandals, a bleach white toga, and a crimson red sash with gold-flecked lining. The Senator wore similar attire, his sash however was purple.

The Vice-Marshall looked at the Squadron Leader with venom in his eyes.

"You idiot."

He turned back to the CO. "I'm horribly sorry, this has been a massive misunderstanding. I'll help you load those back up. I'm very sorry. Squadron Leader Jameson here thought your intent was to fire the missiles into the empty air. We weren't aware they're simply weight simulations. Now, is there anything else we can do?"

OOC: Also, I forgot, what was that whole taxi thing?

Mr. Lakehart looked over the fact sheets quickly. "These are interesting. I'll look at them further in the morning."

OOC: Do you have any actual fact sheets for the vehicles?

The Pilot Officer watched as the High Ambassador disembarked.

"Sir Ruk-Noi, welcome! You best hurry or you'll miss the festivities!" One of the Bell 430s was already started and the Pilot Officer quickly helped the Ambassador in.

(OOC: Just to clear it up… Ruk-Noi and the High Ambassador are two separate people. The Yakana Accords (Laws for Governing) create a High Ambassador position who watches over all the Ambassadorial affairs. Two… I guess a total of five people form Yakana are attending three of which are security. )

“Indeed… Officer…? The High Ambassador spoke questionably of the man as Ruk-Noi lightly bowed his head.

“Thank you. High Ambassador this way.” Ruk-Noi said pointing to the helicopter assigned to them.

“Not nearly as comfortable as the one’s made in the Holy Republic, but I guess it does its function.” The High Ambassador said pressing on the seat lightly. “Sir Ruk-Noi, while down here I expect you to get some form of aviation trade going. The Holy Republic’s pride depends on such.”

“Yes, sir, we hope to accomplish wonderful business relationship with the Zinarian government. The Holy Republic stands to benefit for their industry.”

“Indeed. I’m only here because I’m required to appear by order of His Holiness. He personally assigned this position to you, so feel honored about being here.” The High Ambassador said yawning lightly. He was not much into traveling, an oddly enough his public relation skills were not very polished. The position of High Ambassador was given to him due to qualifications and not so much based on personality.

The High Ambassador was indeed an arrogant man, unlike Ruk-Noi. Leaning over to one of his security guards he whispered lightly. “He’s lucky he’s not in the Holy Republic other wise he’d be shot for this. Ruk-Noi, I thought you were getting your own helicopter here, it seems that Zinaire hires anyone to fly.”

Ruk-Noi shook his head lightly. “Do remember sir, you may only be here for one night, I’m here for years.”

“Indeed. I’ll be sure to send you a bouquet of flowers from the Holy Republic frequently.” After a few moments and before they landed a phone ran and Ruk-Noi picked up an earpiece and placed it in his hear.

“Nanmosh? Alright, I’ll let him know. – Sir, your plane arrived at the airport they said to call if there is anything they need to get you before you depart back to the Holy Republic after the Gala.” Ruk-Noi then leaned over to the pilot of the aircraft. “How much longer? We’ve been on the plane for over 13 hour’s enroute from The Holy Republic, I’m tired of flying.”

TRAGEDY AT AIR SHOW

Earlier this evening, one of three jets brought in by Bourgenstein crashed during an air show that was a part of the Celebration Gala. Video Tape caught the crash, as one of the two F-14s that was doing a rather complex maneuver and lost all engine power. As the jet was inverted, it did not allow the pilot to eject. No one on the ground was injured.

President Jim Montague, who was at the Celebration Gala had this to say, "This is a dark day for the Bourgenstein Air Service. Any time that a pilot loses his life it hurts. We have been told that an investigation from the Bourgenstein Air Service will begin within the week to find out what went wrong."

Everyone on the ground was shocked. Police swarmed to crash site while one of the servers called an ambulance. Even before the police got the 300 meters to the plane, the pilot was dead.

Rumor was, when the air base found out about the crash, the Squadron Leader had muttered, "Told them to let us do a final inspection."

Ultimately, the gala was cut short by the crash. Gregory Bishop announced that any further negotiations that would have taken place at the ball would now we held, by appointment, in the appropriate government or corporate office.

(OOC: I see I'm a bit late, damn different timezones. I'll be speeding up a bit here, so I'll end up at the gala. I'm taking some creative liberties here, so I hope you don't mind.)

Gracefully touching down on the asphalt, a large white aircraft was grinding to a halt, preparing to taxi. It was an Airbus A340, one that bore the markings of the GFG or Groussherzogliche Fliger Gesellschaft, the national Van Luxemburger airline. There was however one thing different about it, and that was the word 'Cargo'. As the A340 taxiied to it's designated position, it was quickly followed by a second aeroplane coming in to land. A Boeing 787, coloured in a grey-blue livery, a large, red lion on it's tail. As the plane came closer, one was able to see that the name 'AUSLÄNNERMINISTÈRE/MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS' was stickered just behind the cockpit, above the many windows of the aircraft. Above it, a small national flag and the words 'THE GRAND DUCHY OF VAN LUXEMBURG' showed the aircrafts' origin.

As it had landed, it taxiied in the same direction as the A340 - cleared by the ZIA tower ofcourse - and the personnel aboard waited until stairs had been placed by the ground crew before opening the door. Meanwhile, the A340 had unloaded it's cargo. A small convoy of four cars slowly drove up to the stairs of the 787, awaiting it's passengers.

As the four cars were standing by to pick up their passengers, the remaining car headed out to the helicopter dock. There, it would have to tell the pilots that the Van Luxemburger delegation wouldn't travel by helicopter, but preferred their own vehicles. A request from the delegation however was, if they could send a guide to travel with them, as the vehicles they drove had no navigation DVD's available for the nation they were in. The manufacturers' themselves knew about it, and were working hard on a new DVD for Zinaire, but for now, an old-fashioned guide would have to do.

As the fifth veicle drove off to get the guide at the helicopter dock, the four remaining cars waited at the airplane stairs. They didn't had to wait long, however, as the three high-ranking men came out within seconds of the vehicles' arrival. Casually conversating about things like the weather, the country, the flight, and what they were expecting about the meeting.

'I say, that this is both an excellent opportunity for us to expand our diplomatic influence, and for you to expand your corporate influence. Both of which is beneficial to our nation.' Leon Schreiber said, as he walked down the stairs as the last of the three men, carrying a small briefcase that contained some of his papers, as well as some information he had been reading on Zinaire while in flight.

'Well, you are right, to a point. Not only is it a chance for us to increase our corporate influence, but I also took my credit card, if you know what I mean.' Hans Schmidt said, looking up and smiling at Leon. Alfredo Monteluci grinned at the word 'credit card', as he exactly knew what Schmidt meant with the sentence. He was familiar with Schmidt's ways for several years now.

As they got in their vehicles, it was clear they all had chosen rather exclusive and representative vehicles from their domestic industry. Schmidt would ofcourse have his VLT L7 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13231453&postcount=12), with the powerful 650 horsepower V12. Schreiber had the same vehicle, as he had borrowed it from the Minister. The only difference between the two was that Leons' car was armoured, and Schmidt's one wasn't. Alfredo Monteluci, meanwhile, had chosen a brand new vehicle from his own factories, and also supplied the guards with practically the same vehicle. The Monteluci Duca 2008 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=554076)had barely been launched domestically, or he had took it abroad. Alfredo's was a 400 HP V8 SFS, a model that had barely reached Van Luxemburg's Autobahns. He had given the guards the 3.2 V6 BMD, very powerful diesel-fueled models that would develop 310 HP. One of those escort vehicles was parked all the way at the back of the convoy, and while the men got into their own cars, the second escort arrived, now complemented with a Zinaire guide.

It was usual for the Van Luxemburgers to accelerate at a very hasty pace, and try to push the limits of the cars when the road was safe and free. As the road was safe and free, the vehicles could easily reach speeds above 200 km/h, and sometimes even above. The highest recorded speed was 259 km/h, just under the maximum for the diesel-powered Monteluci's that escorted the convoy.

Overall, the trip was smooth, swift and quick, and the vehicles quickly arrived at the Zinnia Cove Waterfront Ballroom. Not that it wasn't clear that those vehicles were going there: one could hear them coming, as they swooshed across the motorway at -probably- illegal speeds. The high screaming of the V8, the low, somewhat calm hammering of the V12's, and the monotone humming of the V6 BMD's. The speeds they had been doing could also be seen on the cars themselves; flies were splattered all over the hood and the windscreen and the engine cooling was blasting at full power. As the cars grinded to a halt, the three men stepped out of their respective vehicles to greet the welcoming party. They took all things they needed with them, including small suitcases, mobile phones and assorted things they might need. However, they had abstained from the usual businessman look, being clothed in a normal outfit, a stylish combination of branded clothing from all over Europe and Van Luxemburg.

'Goodafternoon, Leon Schreiber, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg. These are my companions for today, Hans Schmidt, Director of Sales of VLT Automotive Group N.V. and Alfredo Monteluci, managing director of Automobili Monteluci.' Schreiber firmly pushed his hand (and thus, his arm) forward to shake hands. Meanwhile, the two directors only nodded, as they waited for their chance to shake hands.

(OOC: just assuming there is a welcoming party, ofcourse.)

OOC: It's no problem and there's a lot of soldiers standing around if that counts as a welcoming party. Also, for the purposes of not ending everything here, this will be pre-crash.

As the men from Van Luxemburg entered the ballroom, everyone turned to see the late-comers. The prime minister and Mr. Lakehart went to greet them.

"Hello Mr. Schreiber, Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Monteluci! This is my friend Mr. Lakehart, and I think you two fellows will want to speak with him. Mr. Schreiber, why don't you come meet part of my cabinet?"

'Yes, hello Mr. Bishop, Mr. Lakehart. A true pleasure to meet you. I would indeed be honoured to meet a part of your cabinet. I'm sure that Schmidt and Monteluci here are interested in a more private conversation with Mr. Lakehart, the ways of our automobile industry are not exactly my task.' Schreiber said, gesturing to Schmidt and Monteluci that they should go with Lakehart, while he went with Bishop. Schmidt and Monteluci quickly nodded, as they shook hands with Lakehart, and greeted the Prime Minister.

'Very well, I believe we aren't too interested in international politics either, Leon.' Schmidt concluded, as the delegation separated. While Schreiber walked away, folowing the PM, the three industrials were left standing in the ballroom. For the sake of starting a conversation, Schmidt decided to talk about what concerned them all: Automobiles.

'Mr. Lakehart, a pleasure meeting you. Just out of interest, could you tell me a bit more about ZMW? We have been hearing some things about it while we're here, but I can't seem to get a hold of the bigger picture, if you know what I mean.' He spoke, smiling as he concluded his sentence.

Meanwhile, Schreiber was planning on exactly the same with Bishop. While he followed him to the cabinet, he also started to speak.

'Well, I must say the infrastructure is quite good here. Leaves no doubt about the quality of what we'll see in the coming days, I suppose.'

'Tell something about ourselves.... Well, VLT was formed in 1946, but some of our companies were formed way earlier. I name Monteluci in 1907 and Lepanto in 1893. We currently have a profit of nearly 30 trillion USD per year, and we like to call ourselves the largest automobile company in the world. our top model is the VLT L8, but one could also consider the Lepanto 650 Moiano as a top model, whatever you'll like.

We sell over 1 billion cars worldwide, in hundreds of places. But in the years, we have also expanded into oil, even though limited, and also things like roadside service stations, vehicle electronics, aftermarket modifications, engines, etc. We also produce small amounts of luxury yachts, private aircraft and motorbikes. But that's not really our main market.'

Schmidt paused for a moment, in which Monteluci took over.

'We have a clear market vision. Every brand should have a special goal. The goal of my brand is to supply the world with sportive and luxurious automobiles with Italian flair and style. VLT mainly caters to the mainstream public, and Lepanto makes supercars that are an extension of Monteluci's model range. Currently, VLT is our worldwide seller, while Monteluci and Lepanto are especially popular in the domestic market, but we are currently in a campaign to change that. The new Monteluci Duca should do the trick nicely.'

Meanwhile, walking with Bishop, was Leon Schreiber, who was in a conversation with the PM.

'Yes, I'll probably stay for a few days. Not that long, though. I need to get back to my responsibilities at the Ministry within the week. Jens Blom, the minister, won't appreciate it if I return after a month or so.'

INVESTIGATION INTO TRAGEDY ALMOST COMPLETE

Bourgenstein Air Services Chief Investigator Anderson Wade had these comments to make.

"We are almost done with out investigation. We would like to thank the government of Zinaire for all of their support and cooperation in this investigation.

"As such, the malfunction that caused a F-14 Tomcat to lose engine power and crash we find was due to pilot error. After examining video tape that was taken from the time of the crash, it was very clear that the Tomcat that crashed would not have crashed had the maneuver they executed was executed at a higher altitude which would have allowed more space in between the two jets, as it was the backwash from the engines that caused the failure.

"Viewing the tape, I noticed that both planes lost engine power, but since one plane was upright, it was able to glide into a landing with no additional complications.

"The other pilot that was involved in the crash is going to be placed on administrative leave while we complete the investigation. Thank you very much."

'Well, it is not exactly an airline. It is an aircraft factory, but we never produce for foreign nationals. Or, at least, it has never happened before. Plus, we only build by request, so that means that you bring the design and we can construct it. It is the same in our naval department. We mainly focus on automobiles, really. both private and commercial ones. And two military vehicles, too.'

Meanwhile, on the other end of the ballroom, Schneider walked with Bishop.

'I'm not too sure. I'll see where we end up.'
