The Vikings were a notoriously fickle, decrepit bunch.

This would be no different a case.

While enroute to invade the extravagant nation of Hryvania, Warlord Gunnar had chanced upon a Brydogian pornography. While cheaply made and poorly filmed, it became apparent to Gunnar that Brydog would make a much better target than the pregnant tubbos of Hryvania.

And so the fleet set toward Brydog.

Coastal Patrol Station 4

Station 4 was one of the many CP stations around Wolfenhalle. The RADAR operator picked up something on the radar. "Unindentified contacts bearing." the operator said. The ships didn't have the frequencies that Wolfenhaller civilian and military vessels have. They classifield it has a possible hostile fleet. A P-3C would take off and indentify the contact. The P-3C took off the local airfield and climbed higher into the sky and head towards the contact.

Ambose Sea

The Hood CVBG was on station in Ambose Sea. The RNS Hood and it's escorts were notified of the contacts and were to keep watch on the area. The carrier's EW aircraft was on station and a flight of fighters were performing HAVCAP over the battlegroup. "If the P-3 confirms hostile, we are to engage the targets." The captain said as the group waits for the report from the aircraft.

Ambose Sea, Antairian Viking Fleet

The Wolfenhaller had taken notice of the fleet. Only a quarter of an hour ago, a reconnaissance plane had passed over the fleet, it's presence announced by both the blocking of the sun and the fierce shriek of jet engines pushed to their limits. The vikings, eager for battle and having begun imbibing copious amounts of alcohol a rather long time ago, began firing upon the jet. While most likely an exercise in futility, the inability of the vikings to determine whether they had hit the aircraft or not was interpreted optimistically as a kill, and more rounds were handed out. The hundreds of thousands of ships in the fleet cruised forward eastward, ever closer to the Wolfenhaller coast, speed, bravery and sheer volume their greatest asset against the technologically superior foe.

It was going to be an interesting day.
