Oil wells back in use.

Since the long war of independence against the opressors the oil fields of Bardar have been closed, since the opressors who was stealing the national resources of our glorious people abandoned them.
However, since the war is over, the newly independent kingdom of Bardar is going to start pumping oil from the old wells in order to increase the growth of our great nation, and of course to lessen the world wide petrolium crisis. However, this is a long term project and Bardar is a new nations with a lot to learn, it will still be a while before you can import all your oil from the Kingdom of Bardar.

Bardar, I seriously do not think that your standing forces, no matter how well equiped wouldn be a match for the griffincrest corporation. The corporation are know to be marauders who maintain a tight grip on international oil wells.

I suggest for the sake of your nation, you do as we do and keep the oil state owned and to yourselves. Anything other that this will result will in serious rammifications that most nations of rater large size either fail to get involved in or refuse to get involved in...

For instance, even if the exetonian military was at full strength, going against griffincrest would be a significant drain on Exetonian resources and result in an inexcusable loss of life whilst Griffincrest could just hire more manpower and replace lost assests.

I open this contact on behalf of the goverment of Belschaft and a number of other corparations we have formed a group with, including several well known Multi-Nationals. We wish to purchase a 50% share of the oilfields, including a exclusivity pact agreeing that you will sell only 10% to any other intrested patry. As part of the deal we will cover 75% of the development and production costs for the first 2 years, 60% for the following four years and then a even 50/50 split of the costs from that point. As part of the deal profits will be split evenly between the two of us, unless either sells shares to another gorup, in which case the share of profits will be adjusted to represent shares held.

We wish to offer a total of $150,000,000,000 for 50% of the shares in the oilfield, payable over 8 years. Payment will be in a mixture of currency, bassed on flucuating values, and other assets, mainly gold. We belleive this is a fair valuation of the oilfields, though we are open to negotiations.

This is the kind of an offer too good to refuse. Th royal government will immidiately start negotiations with the nation of Belshaft and the Northstar Corparation.

When it comes to these Griffincrest wierdos, if they attack they should know that they attack a mountainous country full of warriors. If we mobilize our reserves 14% of our population would be in uniform, even more, essentially we are a nation of freedom fighters, we fought our former opressors for decades, and if Griffincrest arrive, they will have to expect some bloody decades. In war every man, woman and child i Bardar is a soldier ready to fire a gun. If Griffincrest arrive we will give them hell.

However, we hope to live in peace with the other nation states and develop our economy. That's why we will cooperate with richer nations with good and fair intentions, like Belshaft and the Northstar Corparation. We accept the terms of the Belshaft government and hope this will be the beginning of a long- term friendship.

In addition, as we presume that Bardar is (largely) a desert land, We offer to sell Bardar solar power cells and panels. This technology could be paid for in oil transfers (we don't need much, but "not mucn" is not "none") from Bardar to New Chalcedon, if Bardar is interested. The main advantage to Bardar is that once such panels have been purchased, Bardar can sell more of its oil on the world markets, which are paying top currency for them right now. International Trade – Oil and Rock

The Holy Republic of Yakana is interested in working out a deal with the parties of “the Government of Bardar”, “The Northstar Corporation” and “the Government of Belshaft”.

By order his His Holiness of the Holy Republic of Yakana, under the advice of the Office of the Ambassador of the Holy Republic; His Holiness’s Department of Economics and Trade hereby requests to form a deal under the following terms below.

Seeing as how a 50% stake has been bought out by the Northstar Corporation and the Government of Belshaft, The Holy Republic of Yakana would like to request to partake in the deal in 15% of this 50% share. Under terms outline by the High Ambassador, The Holy Republic is willing to pay the Northstar Corporation 20% of the original cost of the 50% stake of $150,000,000,000 for 15% shares. Thus leaving the total shares fully owned by Northstar and the Government of Belshaft to be 35%.

The Holy Republic of Yakana will also be responsible for its share of the development at the 20% rate of the 15% shares. The Holy Republic of Yakana will bring in a firm to work along side of The Northstar Corporation in harvesting the oil as well as security firms.

We will also be willing to discuss a certain percentage of oil to go backinto the Government of Belshaft.

We hope this will be seen as a prosperous agreement to the following parties.

Due to suspicous movements from Griffincrest agents the nation of Bardar has deployed the reserves. In a short time our glorious nation will once again be ready for battle, in case a new opressor will arrive. As a nation of freedom fighters the kingdom of Bardar is not afraid of a long conflict. We are ready to fight for centuries. Our people are not afraid of death, we faced death and suffering every day in our fight against our opressors. With 14 % of our population mobilized we will have a fighting force with 2,5 million men and women in uniform. Guerilla warfare is the only tactic we know, and unlike any invader we konow our mountainious terrain. There are no good roads or any other infrastructure in use that any invading army can use, due to our war against our opressors, and these that exist are torn down as a preventive measure. Neither are we afraid to use the scorched eath tactic, we have used it plenty of times before.

the newly independent kingdom of Bardar do not want hostile relation with any other nations, but nations like Call to Power and Griffincrest, lead by greedy socialists and foreigners, all conspiring to steal the national resources of our nation make it hard to have a peaceful diplomatic strategy, since we well know that these revolutionary bastards would immidiately invade and slaughter our brave people, just liker our former opressors.

Since it's clear that the Griffincrest company are run by a bunch of leftist cowards and hippies, the kingdom do not consider them as the worst threat to our national security any more, but remain mobilized to tackle any invasion attempt from the Soviet Republic of Call to Power, which is run by fat, corporate leading millionares, who are all really socialist scum, and who openly worship false gods. The glorious nation of Bardar do not want a conflict with any other nation, but will fight any invader until death. If there will be war it won't be over tomorrow, it won't be over next year, it will drag on for centuries, and our glorious nation will win in the end.

The main reason why the glorious kingdom of Bardar did not accept the deal presented by Call to Power was because it looked more like a take over, thaqn a honest bid for cooperation. The newly independent nation of Bardar will only cooperate with nations that are willing to treat our nation as an equal. The kingdom of Bardar also laugh at the demand that our glorious, allmighty andallknowing monarch should abdicate. That's like demanding the moon to turn green. Official Corinthian Diplomatic Message

West Corinthia hereby denounces the rogue nation of Bardar for its various threats and outlandish statements. We call for the immediate resignation of Bardur I and the turning over of all Bardarian oil fields to private interests. The current Bardarian regime cannot be trusted with such a powerful resource. We furthermore urge all foreign nations to avoid purchasing Bardarian oil until this crisis is averted or King Bardur I lies in exile.

Signed,
Czar Ptolemy I of West Corinthia

We are increaingly dismayed by the increasingly aggresive behaviour of the Bardarian goverment, wich in reality is little more than a brutal dictatorship. We therefore will not oppose any military action you may take. However we have no intention of withdrawing from the northeast of Bardar, the centre of it's oil fields and mineral wealth. We allready have signifigant holdings in the region, and as we speek Crayvern Corparation forces are securing strategic and economic locations in the area. As of 21:13 today the Bardarian oilfields and the northeast of the contry are considered Northstar property. That is all.

Though we respect and applaud recent efforts to secure your interests within the nation of Bardar, we must ask that a contract come into place to both compensate and provide a fair share of profits to the New Republic of Bardar that will emerge. This is for the good of both our interests as the people of Bardar have already suffered greatly under a foreign thumb and so we must always seek to show them as equal partners in any future for both profitability and security.

We also wish to secure your support in the toppling of the current government of Bardar, as this will prove to be in both our best interests for this we will provide a 10 billion USD grant and access to any republic support you may need in this task.

We have no intention to turn Bardar int o colonial holdings. Northstar is a relativley young corparation, having only existed for 15 years, and has no colonial history. We were carefull to gauretee profits would be split evenly when we first arived in Bardar, and only seized resorces when it became apparant the current goverment of Bardar does not represent the people. We will see to it that Bardarian citizens in our holdings are treated to the standard of a Belschaft citizen, and see to it the nation is compensated in the future.

In the meantime veterens of the Razorlian civil war have been deployed, and are establishing airfields from which our fighters and bombers can opoerate. We can promise you air superiority, and secure landing zones in the north east.

The Imperial Democracy hereby declares that if any nation commences a breach of Badar's rightful sovereignty in order to take control of the oil feilds, the Government will use force to ensure that the oil does not fall into the hands of the attacking nation.
Under authorization of Badar, the Cazelian government has deployed the 4th and 12th MEF, with an additional force of the 6th fleet and the 53rd Armoured.

The kingdom of Bardar will not be scared by the voices of socialist cowards. All foreign troops on our territory (except those of our new ally Cazelia) will be seen as an invading force and will immidiately be anhiliated by the brigades of the Bardar armed force. with all reserves mobilized Bardar will have an army of 2,5 million men and women in uniform (compulsary military service for both men and women). Furthermore, most villages are full of weapons from the War of Liberation, and in truth, no Bardarian is really a civilian. Most people still posess the spirit of the Liberation War and will not move an inch from fighting a new one. The last war took 32 years, our nation is able to fight even longer this time.

Your sincerely; Patriarch Asmaloch of the church of Bardar, Prime Minister in the royal government.

Re: Conduct.

Your Excellencies,

It is with regret that we note the poor conduct of the newly-sovereign government of Bardar. Issuing insults to other nations, who simply wish to take advantage of the invitation issued by the government of Bardar, is not a good way to ensure a peaceful existence with the international community.

We must regretfully, given the likelihood of armed conflict in the area, withdraw our offer of solar-power technology to Bardar.

We offer the Kingdom of Bardar this advice: issue an apology, and explain that the poor conduct was the result of inexperience in international relations. Assure the various nations watching that something like this will not happen again.

Yours,
Michael VI,
Empror and Lord of New Chalcedon,
Grand Duke of Constantinopolis Secundus,
etc., etc., etc.

We congratulate you on distancing yourself from such tyrants; however, I may remind you that this King poses a threat to the security of all of us and needs to be crushed before he can build sufficient arms to make real his threats.

We have recognized that the citizens of the Kingdom of Bardur have recently thrown of the shackles of a foreign oppressor and may turn to view our troops in the same light, so for our operations we must propose a military alliance to topple the nation’s monarchy and work to create a new government. We will provide complete sea and air domination followed by extensive logistical and monetary support but ask that your forces make up the majority of the boots on the ground in any land operation that may take place.

Yours Thankfully
President Brown

Subject: Repeated insults

The Bardarian government refuses to back down on this issue. They have not issued an apology nor have they made any indication towards wanting to resolve this situation peacefully. West Corinthia desires to maintain the moral high ground of this issue by again requesting that the leader of Bardar declare a public apology and reform his policies.

To Bardar itself, you must realize that you are incapable of defending yourself against the forces now aligned against you. Even with your "2.5 million soldiers," you need to recognize that the West Corinthian standing peacetime army is about 150 million men. These Corinthians are armed with technologies which your country is far from being able to develop and many of them are skilled veterans of past conflicts. Your military, even with civilian resistance, would be incapable of withstanding a Corinthian assault for more than a few weeks.

We are not at all implying that it is our desire to invade you. We are stressing to you that you are in a very vulnerable position and you seem to be digging yourself into a deeper hole with each communication. Change your ways before it is too late.

Signed,
Czar Ptolemy I

The government of Bardar see no need to apologize. First these Griffincrest weirdos threaten to invade our country for our oil, which they obviously didn't dared to do, then the socialist government of Call to Power suddenly demand that our beloved monarch should resign. These outrageous demands leave us no choice than to prepare for a foreign invasion. It's not that we wanted it, it's just that evil foreign countries had decided to invade us no matter what we say or do. Our nation is used to suffering, some more decades of war is nothing. We just keep in mind the wisdom of the prophet Jesus Muhammed Krishna, and remember freedom is allways worth dying for.

Yours sincerely; Patriarch Asmaloch of the church of Bardar, Prime Minister in the royal government.
