Confederate Coalition decides to decentralize government

-Seville,
Despite the recent nationalist displays and ethnic tensions on the outer isles, the parliament has decided to loosen up the central government even more so and grant even greater autonomy to the outer isles. "We figure these recent attacks in the isles are from oppression of the culture of the minor tribes, so we figure we should give them more freedom" said MP J. Sanza. Recent bombings of cars and homes in isles such as the Aria and Darshi isles have caused concern in Faurea. Faurea, already a very loose confederation, has loosened the reign of its government much more because of terrorist attacks in different islands, even a car-bombing ten miles from Seville. Many fear that because the government has taken almost a non-existent role that places like Aria and Darshi will break away and form their own Republics.

In other political news....
Aranethon Wazzi, a former independent MP from Rea Island, has formed a new political party, the Untiy Movement, which claims to borrow all principles from every political philosophy and be more centre than the Faurean Centre party. The party was created by nationalists, independents, populists, civilocrats, liberals, and some former centrists. "We expect to be a new Faurean unifying force in light of these seperatist movements. We should all work as one."

Election Time: How will Arian and Darshi Independence affect elections?

-Seville,
Parliamentary elections are coming sooner than most thought, due to the disspelling of the Arch-Minister in a no-confidence decision by Parliament. "We felt as a whole that AM Fazi could not handle the split and the civil tensions(regarding Arian and Darshi independence.) He failed to keep our nation going" said MP and Unity Movement leader Aranethon Wazzi said to the press earlier. Wazzi is campaigning for his party, the Untiy Movement, for the new elections to unseat the Civilocratic Party (identical to Libertarian Party of America). He made a strong appeal to the nationalism of Faurean citizens and called for the Arian and Darshi islands to "rejoin our great nation." He led a march on Seville, which included many supporters of the Movement. Political analysts predict Wazzi to be a very strong contender in the elections. "He(Wazzi) appeals strongly to both the right and left. He is a very strong nationalist and a populist. He is also an admitted socialist supporter, saying that he is for the average Faurean" said analyst Richard Drier.

Wazzi Wins Election
Now Faureans are curious as to see what changes new leader will make.
As of last night, The Unity Movement declared victory in the Parliamentary Elections over second place contender Liberal Union. This victory means a majority in the two house parliament and Aranethon Wazzi as the new Arch-Minister. "This is a great day for Faurea, but most importantly, for the Faurean people who are ready for Unity" said Wazzi outside campaign headquarters earlier this morning. Wazzi has said that his first job today in the honorary Parliamentary meeting is a constitutional review and way to broker a deal to get Aria and Darshi back into Faurea. The Unity Movement has a majority of 38 seats in the 60 seat Upper House and a outstanding majority of 49 seats in the 80 seat Lower House. Because of the outstanding majority, most expect that Wazzi will not have much problems passing new reforms. Earlier today at the press conference, Mr. Wazzi declared that Faurea will no longer be neutral, so that "we can take a more active role in the world."

Island chain that broke away is now back to help with rebuilding the nation.
-Canaery City
After a day of talks, President Forzi of the Aria Republic agreed to rejoin Faurea, say reporters in Canaery. The talks were held in Canaery City, Canaery betwen Forzi, Faurean Arch-Minister Aranethon Wazzi and Supreme Commissar of the People's Republic of Darshi, Erv Kavik. Forzi said they agreed on the terms that the Aria islands would rejoin, just as long as his people could have complete cultural recognition and that his ministry could help with the constituion and the formation of the new Faurean Republic. Unfortunately, sources also report that the terms were not acceptable to Kavik, who left the talks abruptly. Kavik, a staunch Communist and one time leader of the Faurean Communist Party, who actually sereved with a much younger Aranethon Wazzi, decided that, "My people do not want an oppressive Capitalist system and have to deal with the class struggle, and if we accepted the terms, we would just start that vicious cycle again." How this will have an effect on Faureans has yet to be seen.
