Iditarod(EII)
The largest event in Alaska was coming up, the Iditarod race. The Iditarod is an annual race to see was the best musher. The event was the largest sporting event in the country and it’s watched. The event was a international one, allowing foreigners to complete in the event. The race starts from Willow to Nome, with a ceremonial start in Anchorage.The race was started to the honor the mushers and the legendary 1925 serum race to Nome.
The race will be 1,049 miles covered in 8 to 15 days, and will start in Willow after the ceremonial start in Anchorage. Foreign visitors and mushers are welcome to attend.
ATTN: Frequently teams race through blizzards causing whiteout conditions, and sub-zero weather and gale-force winds which can cause the wind chill to reach -100 °F (-75 °C).

OOC: just find a random number generator, generate numbers every now and again to time each player. Make sure its a 4 number generator, im guessing most times would be (If its checkpoint times probably above 60's but nothing more than 4 or 5 hours) at least 8 to 10 hours a day...make it like 4 days long then add all the times from checkpoints up to determine the winner from there.
I'll join once you got it figured out man, its a good idea plus a good way for the CSN to recognize your nation...maybe we can have some diplomatic talks as I don't currently own much land with oil in it, or I have not been able to locate a source to tell me otherwise, and could use an oil trade partner.

Anchorage, Alaska
The Iditarod was created to test the best dog teams and now it was time for it again. The ceremonial starting place of Anchorage was ready, the event being the largest one in Alaska. Thousands of fans gather at the city and elsewhere on the trail. The teams were foreigners and local favorites, the race was to start soon, but first it was the meet and greet of such. Members of government and local figures gather in the city. People arriving from foreign countries would arrive at Anchorage International Airport, and then take a ride to the starting line. This was a ceremonial start, the real race would began at Willow. The year's race used the northern route, which was 1,112 miles long. The race was daring, dangerous one and was a true test of skill and heart.
