"Sir?" Muttered the aide in a low voice "Is this a good time?" Somewhat annoyed Vincent answered "Make it quick John, I've got work to do" Hiding his portable game sytem under the desk he turned to the aide "Sir, the senate has found out about Mr. Cunningham. Our former president, remember?" Vincent's heart began to beat faster "They found the assassin?" He muttered quickly trying to stay calm "Yes they have sir. They say it's YOU!" He promptly fainted.

President Cunningham's assassin found, turns out to be President Gambino!

President Cunningham's assassin has been found. The problem is, it's our current president! Mr. Gambino was sent to the senate for trial and found guilty. He chose Lethal injection to die by, however, on the way there, a group of radicals 'rescued' the ex-president. Seeing there chance, many groups have began fighting over Conserative morality. We advise all citizens to buy a firearm to defend themselves, or escape from the country for the time being.


Upon the recent splintering of Conserative morality, several groups have risen up to claim it.

Presidential loyalists
The presidential loyalists believe unwaveringly in Vincent Gambino. They believe that his pleading guilty was just a desperate attempt to escape the death sentence, a myth he has reaffirmed several times. They are well equiped,mostly through their capturing of several arms factories, and are strongest in the north-east and north west of CM.

Senate loyalists
The senate loyalists believe that formerly the president had too much power, and that Mr. Gambino was just a side-effect of such power. They believe that upon coming to power they would replace the president with increased power to the senate. They make up much of the police force and most government officials. Support for them is strongest in the larger cities.

Communists rebels
The Communist party has always been large in CM, but have never held any more then 10 senate seats at a time. They are convinced that this is their chance to relieve the poor of their burden and make everyone equals economicly. They are strongest among the southern farmers and unemployed.

OOC: I have an interesting idea. First off, I want to RP the Senate Loyalists. Secondly, I'd like them to be cooperating with my own nation's intelligence services, which adopts an anything-goes attitude reminiscent of the Cold War. Is that acceptable?

As Vincent sat on his chair in the middle of Pug City, he thought about his next move. Being resucued from certain death had shocked him, but he knew he would have to act fast. Suddenly, an idea came over him! He knew what he would do... He would create a fake assassination attempt! He would get one of his most loyal followers to stage a assassination attempt while he planned to reveal evidence that he couldn't have assassinated President Cunningham! Evidence that would be conviently damaged by the assassin in his attempt. Vincent smiled and leaned backwards. Winning this war would not be on battlefields he thought. But rather in public opinon.

Mao Li of the Communist Party contemplated what to do in an old farmhouse which had been garrisoned and converted into a military base. He had just sent the Tel Amur Empire a promise of a permanent member of the future governing body of the nation in return for weapons. He would never tell this to his men, but right now they were surviving more on ideological fervor than actual substance. And he was an atheist- God couldn't help him. He needed the supplies. As for now...

he turned to an assistant. "Capture the nearest airfield. Bombers may stop the presidential and senatorial forces."

"Dark was the day President Cunningham died, and latly there have been accusations leveled at me for his death." Pause. "But I can assure you that is not true. Formerly unknown, the President had a video camara in his room at the time recording everything. Rick! Play the tape!" Cue "Assassin" Vincent thought a smile creeping over his face. Sure enough, just then one of his most devoted followers showed up "Death to the president!" He shouted and then shot directly at the projecter, completly destroying the porn video inside. "DEATH!" He shouted once more taking careful aim at the president. As he fired, a security guard ran into his arm in a attempt to stop him. The bullet, instead of hitting his ribcage as planned, made a direct beeline for his jaw...

In an attempt on President Gambino's life, his jaw has been completly decimated, and he has a voice synthesyzer to speak since the event. The would-be assassin has plead guilty to attempted murder,obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest. Directly from the culprit "I... I thought it was the right thing to do... I thought the president had killed President Cunningham. That's what the senate told me. But know I relieze I was wrong. And so were they. I do not plead for a lesser sentence, but rather for a chance to redeem my self in the eyes of the president, and the people. I tell my fellow countrymen to stop this madness, and to surrender." He was sentenced to life in prison under Conserative Moralitys current harsh attempted murder laws. One person commented "It really pisses me off that the senate would try something like this! Formerly I was hoping that the senate would be able to stop this, but after hearing them stoop to such lengths, I now know that having them in power again would only result in a repeat of this event!"

The Fluidism Viriline Intelligence service had wanted a chance to test out their assassination program, and they had sent an agent over, whom he had just met, simply for an opportunity, with no political involvement whatsoever. the man had been given full security clearance.

Discretely the Tel Amur Empire began to supply weapons to the Communist Rebels, sending tactics specialists with them to help train these rebels as well as arm them. Nothing of these actions were noticed, save that Communist Rebels became better equipped and their tactics became more stunning, each small group working as a single body.

The current emperor of Shaamin see's an opportunity in taking valuable state's resources and sends a 20 man covert ops squad in secrecy that target the industrial zones and mining points in the state.

The now 19 man squad is garrisoned in a small powerplant in the north-western territory and occured a small partisan resistance group that resultet a casualty.

The Dominion sent a convoy of 20 trucks reinforced with 3 tanks and 8 army vehicles that travel in secrecy throug the abandoned forests and moving toward an industrial zone for capturing the advanced technology of Conservative Morality. They are yet to be discovered by any of the factions.

The 19 man squad is now an armoured unit with helicopter support waiting for the convoy.

It was just another day in Francis Cole's life. Walk around, arrest the hooligans who think it's funny to draw graffitti of nude women on the factory, and punch in for the night. Today was different. He squinted to see a small group of men approaching the factory. Thinking that they were Presidential forces, he joyfully strode towards them to tell them how to get into the factory safetly...

May 8th
Just recently a group of communist rebels captured an airbase. Noramly this would not be important news, but they executed several high ranking executives. Many people have complained about this, and the general populace seems to turning aganst the communists. "They should've taken them prisoner, not killed them!" Commented one outraged farmer upon hearing the news "These capitalists must be shown the light of communism! Not executed!" Mao Li has made no comment at this time.

Kyle calmly walked up to him and pretended to lose his nerve. He stammered, dropped his camera, and ran away, the crowd laughing behind him. Later, in a taxi, he pressed a button on his pen. The camera, really a bomb, blew up- he could see the flames. While he wasn't sure about the status of the mission, he had to leave now. He was out of the city, and the lonely highways pointed him to freedom. Killing the driver, he drew a gun, seized control of the taxi, and sped toward the Senate stronghold.

They were conviently killed in the bombing :D

A second attempt on Vincent's life has been made! A reporter from Lordemort2 dropped a camara which turned out to be a bomb! Vincent has survived with massive burns across his body. However, Vincent will still retain the position of president "Until death or the next election" Joked one of his advisers in a press conference. Lordemort2 has not commented at this time.

Kyle Shah strode into the steelworkers' union building, currently the capital of the Senatorial Republic of Conservative Morality and the strongest building in the town. He strode into the room where Salvatore tyne was waiting and, ignoring him, read a memo.

"I see you've promoted yourself again, Sal," Kyle said wryly. He then continued to read.

I will continue to act, and will contact you when the job is done or if I need assistance." He turned and left, picking up some weapons on the way. He also had the taxi redecorated and armored, with two retractable machine guns and one rocket.

Our president, David Avalice, has given President Vincent Gambino 25 million dollars for his campaign. Five thousand Avalican troops are being station in Conservative Morality, where a little over 400 helicopter rescue pilots were killed due to the nuclear bombing.

"What's done is done. But we need to defeat the evil powers of the growing senate and the communist regime! I have learned that the senate has played a part in the nuclear bombing The senate's growing power is corrupting the minds of the people! They have lied and attempt assassinations upon your president! They have ordered the nuclear bombing of one of your own metropolis killing soldiers sent to protect you from the invasion of the infected horrors! Mao Li watched with amusement as the commandos threatened him. After he had learned of a group of soldiers who had lost control- he would have to compensate for that somehow- he needed it. He pressed a button, and the bulletproof class that divided the room became tinted and visible. He was on one side, and all his visitors were on the other. He then spoke into a phone, and watched as his people ran in and massacred the lot by throwing in several grenades and then running like mad. He was unsure if Mr. fish were still alive, though.

It was his first day on duty after leaving flight school. Taking a look at his antiquated F-14 Tomcat for the first time, Evad Constantin wondered why he was here. Ten months ago, he had escaped the Uranium Mines by being accepted into the Bourgenstein Air Service.

Now, he was looking off the deck of an Aircraft Carrier towards the nation of Conservative Morality. He, and the rest of the members of the 36th Flying Wing Division were wondering when they were going to get the call to take flight.

He had waited for that day, and as it seemingly grew closer, he became more afraid of what it might mean for him. The President of Bourgenstein had sent a communique to the President of Conservative Morality letting him know that due to former President Gambino's apparent disregard for wanting peace that he was going to release this division into CM control.

He watched, and he waited. The sounds of the waves crashing against the hull of the carrier were soothing. But even that couldn't calm Evad's nerves. He knew that in a moments notice, he would have to be ready. Maybe for the only time in his life.

OOC:The police in CM are far better equiped then the army and don't need those silly "Search warrents" if they see someone, they can track them, arrest them, or even go into their house and search without any higher authorization! They also track all foreigners for the first few weeks of arriving in the country!

Communists kill 2 police squads!

A group of communists recently killed 2 police squads just outside of Pug city. Few people seem to be concerned "What does it matter" one reader commented "This IS a war, and the police chose to side with the senate, and not the communists. Thus they both were in the right" News has been slow latly, thus the reason for this story.

A few people are seen still walking around, in the stolen gasmasks! The many people who managed to get out of the smoke started to run towards the president of Avalic...

Official message from president Vincent Gambino:
I cannot leave CM, it is my home, and I shall stay with my people. Also, we thank you for your help.

The President of Avalic put on a gas mask given to him by one of his body guards. Suddenly the military(about 100 personnel) started reacting by firing at the pedestrians with miniguns and sniper rifles. The Avalic Intelligence Agency agents hiding in the crowd started injecting a small sample of a paralysis drug into anyone near them. They put on their gas masks and started firing pistols at the Conservative Moralities. The president escaped in a helicopter while the agents and military continued shooting anyone approaching them and one of the soldiers threw a grenade in the crowd. An explosion just instantly killed anyone around it. The helicopters that the military traveled in were being used as the Gatling guns fired upon the crowd of people. Oh what a bloody day. The military forces withdrew from the nation shortly after.

Avalician troops fire on unruly mob!

Avalician troops fired on an unruly mob yesterday, killing 402. Avalician troops withdrew shortly afterwards. One angry man in the mob commented "This is what happens when you let those damn foriegners into our country! Give them an inch, and they take the whole country!"

Just then, the police cheif came in "Good God! What did you do to this man!" He shouted walking over to release his cuffs. "We were interrogating him sir" the angry officer muttered almost silently. ""Give me the tape Roland." "But sir-" "GIVE ME THE TAPE!" As he watched the tape, his face contorts. "What were you doing! You know the rules!" There is no need to worry about any medical bills, you don't even have to go to our country, we'll send money to you whenever you get a work related injury. The general clapped than said, "Well it's been quite the hour but..." In a flashy exit the general and the agent dropped smoke bombs onto the podium and they left without a trace except for a card that read "Beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing communists" with a picture of a polar bear on it. Except they were leaving in a luxury bulletrpoof Mercedes the president planned for a last minute escape. They drove away to their next speech destination.

As soon as the chief left the room, Milo appeared from the ventilation system and appeared before the stunned officers.

"You are too slow. Also, you should check a man when you bring him into custody."

With that, Milo drops the pins from the grenades that were in his bag. The explosion devastates the station, killing anyone within the blast radius.

Brawl after Avalician presidents speech
May 14th
After the Avalician president's second speech, some communists in the crowd started to shove and push around. As the president continued, they started to get more and more unruly, until a few tried to make their way to the podium. Then, in a flash of smoke, the president disapperared with a short message with it. After someone read the message, all chaos broke out. The communists and the capitalists started brawling in the auditorium. 3 people were killed, and over 16 were wounded. Police had to break up the brawl with tear gas. There are no further details at this time.

We have learned that Mr. Vandenberg was at one time a Bourgenstein citizen, but is not a Bourgenstein National. He was infact a Conservative Morality national that was expelled from the country three years ago due to the since repealed ban on Tattoos.

"Mr. Vandenberg's real name, according to our records is Milo Vance Gambino. We are unsure of any relation to deposed President Vincent Gambino. Even though this man is possibly related to President Gambino, we will not waiver in our support of his coming back into his rightful place as President of Conservative Morality."

As soon as Jim Montague is ushered away from the cameras, he turned to one of his aids, "Damn it, I thought you said that Milo Vandenberg was reliable and wouldn't have been an issue."

In a recent battle, presidential forces captured and killed many senators "This has been a great day for CM!" Announced the president "We have met the enemy, and they are ours!" Many people think that the end of the war is coming, whereas other suspect this is only the begining.

Operation Success!

In a 8 day operation Shaamin special forces succeded in capturing 20 ful trucks of machinery and hardware. This is going to be a big day for an improvement of Shaamin's economy. And all done without any detection by any major region forces and major incidents.

A C-130 was flying under the radar in Southern Conservative Morality. The men that were on board knew what their mission was.

Kyle Shah was angry. He wasn't attached to the senate emotionally at all, but he didn't want it destroyed before his job was done. It was too late for that now. After hours of hacking from inside the penthouse of a famous actress, who was sitting blindfolded in her closet, he had accessed the nuclear weapons control of Conservative Morality. He changed all the codes so that the presidential forces could no longer access it, and sent the codes, controls, locations, etc. to Salvatore Tyne. He then received a call saying that the missiles had all been captured by senatorial forces, eager for revenge after the last debacle. He fiddled with some missiles via computer and turned on the TV to watch the fireworks.

President Gambino was standing outside the presidential palace to give yet another propaganda speech for national TV. Suddenly a nuclear warhead careened into the city behind him, sending the whole capital in flames. Thankfully, he was in another city at the time.

He then watched as his computer display switched to an incoming communication from the Senate. The military bases he had fired upon had indeed been eliminated.

"Send in the army," he wrote back.

Senate uses nukes! Millions of acres contaminated! Pug city decimated!

Just yesterday, the senate decided to nuke many military bases, contaminating many acres of good farmland! As if this was not atrotious enough, the senate also nuked Pug City, the largest city in CM as well as the capital! Since the explosion, many people have defected to the communists, whereas others join President Gambino! "We MUST not let this tragedy happen again! The senate has shown not only to be power-hungry and violent, but now short-sighted too! We MUST destroy them and take new measures to insure that this never happens again!" Many enviromentalists have raised hell about this, as well as almost everyone else. Senatorial forces have been predicted to have dwindled down to less then 7000 followers, whereas communist forces have swelled to unknown proportions. President Gambino has expressed his desire for peace with the communist rebels, offering to meet in the middle of CM's now largest city Greenville.

It was a busy day in the AIA(Avalic Intelligence Agency), 20 spies were being sent into Conservative Morality to locate the Senate. They were equipped with several lethal injections in syringes hidden as parts of a rolex, they also had a disposable cellphone that could be used as a hand grenade, a highly hazardous tazer pen, several hidden knives in the soles of their shoes, a pistol hidden as a pack of tic-tacs(they weren't tic-tacs either *wink*), and for the women only, they get powder that looks like a part of cosmetics but are actually poisonous and lethal. They were to be sent into 20 different cities in 2 hours.

OOC: Didn't you say the president was IN ANOTHER CITY? Radiation can't spread that fast. Besides he could have been evacuated. OOC: No, not a clone. Just a bunch of guys with heavy plastic surgery. He was never infected though,and even if he was, in the transmission he revealed they had a cure. The letters are written by Gambino himself, given to his body doubles, then sent to you from there to avoid being traced.

OOC: Yeah, you can send soldiers, but like my previuos posts said, the public has lost faith in the senate after the nuke. I'll try to give a little more detailed reactions to the assassinations next time. Also, all that isn't illegal here in CM;)

AIA director, Nicholas Rasde was listening into conversations that at least had 1 level of encryption. Then he heard something disturbing.

I mean, what's good with having several billion people and large amounts of acres of land when you have no control? I would execute them all in secret but we need a faster way. And then the call ended. The AIA director took out a cellphone and ordered an assassination on the coordinates of the call fast and tracked the cellphone which miraculously wasn't chucked in a trash bin. A helicopter followed the senator silently and then fired a missile at the car he was in. Only a few minutes till the police got to the scene. The helicopter deliberately crashed into the water but an agent jumped out at the last second. There was more destruction to come.

Recently a senator was killed by a missle. Suspicians are on a foreign government, or on the presidential forces, as few communists would be able to afford a missle, even if they found the helicopter. In other news, famous actress Lolela Smith was found dead in her closet, tied and gagged.

Kyle had had a very busy last two days. Gambino was somehow still alive, but he had been able to drown his grief in blood- the blood of 20 spies. The senate had discovered and located them and with his help had taken care of them. He had "interrogated" some before their deaths for information. One revealed the truth- Avalic. The senate would have a new enemy once they officially owned the land. And with Communist help and their popular support, that would be soon. Although the use of nuclear weapons had turned the people against the senate, they had begun to crave the order and safety and equality that communism advertised. The senate-communist partnership was simple. The communists administered the people and police and secret police, and the senate administered the military. Both sides retained control of the populace. And the assassin presidnt was doomed. His army and government were in shambles. Even if he lived for 20 more years, his ruling group was ended, and he would be unsupported and constantly on the run.

He went inside and listened with delight. Hackers had found the identities and addresses of Gambino's 33 body doubles. All had promptly been exterminated by infantry and bomber craft. the next Gambino killed would be the real gambino."

Twenty spies were dead, we could use that plague right about now. Too bad it would jeopardize the world if it were used due to the fact it doesn't kill people. The spies would not be forgotten though. Every military base and police station and all housing owned by any police documented belonging to the Senate was already documented due to tapping considered illegal in Avalic but legal in Conservative Morality. Though the big question was, what to strike first. The police were on the Senate's side so the police stations were one of the choices and police forces could attack from the inside since police are supposed to be symbols of protection. Then the military bases could be a bigger threat due to the weapons being stored there. If worse comes to worse, than chemical and biological warfare could be used to prevent economical losses. A bomber jet than flew into the air space and a napalm bomb was dropped onto a police station. Then it bombed the houses of several houses owned by the police. If it wasn't stopped soon, the police force could be eliminated.

Milo's mission was simple. Make sure that Vincent Gambino was dead. And to make sure that all of his doubles were dead as well.

He found himself on the outskirts of the Capital where he found below him a man that looked like Gambino. Milo wasn't going to take the chance. His orders were simple. Take the shot. Don't ask any questions.

Milo brought the butt of the rifle up to his shoulder, opened the sight to make sure he was on target, and pulled the trigger.

The target was dead. He didn't wait to confirm that it was really Gambino. That wasn't part of the mission.

OOC: The capital city was destroyed by a nuclear bomb. It looks like this conflict is dead.

I have thought it over, and I have decided I will not let them kill me. They have killed my last body double, and I will not take a chance. It was true, I released the virus, I killed Mr. Cunningham. I urge you all to follow the senate, do not let the communists destroy this country. My death is of no importance. I have never let anyone into my life, I have family, no one will mourn me. I urge you too, not to mourn me. Continue the fight, I will be watching over you...

Vincent's body found! Dead by suicide!

President Gambino's body was found recently in a underground shelter. There was a suicide note urging the rest of the presidential forces to ally with the last senatorial forces. It was revealed in the note that he had released the "Infection" virus, and also killed Mr. Cunningham. The note was analyzed and confirmed to be President Gambino's handwriting. His sucessor, Chaz McDermott has sent a diplomat to the senate to talk about unifying this country and defeating the communist threat and returning to status quo. A recent poll showed that about 50% of the country was allyed with the senate and presidential combined forces, with about 20% being unsure or having no opinon, and only 30% being allied with the communists. There is no reply from the senate at this time.

"David, I think this will be interesting," said Secretary of War, General Tobias Wall. He handed him a foreign newspaper. "Damn, I've been fooled! Though I can't help but feel sorry for him. I don't see why he had to commit suicide. Immediately call off the air raid of the Senate's police forces. We need to issue an apology for the bombings, and of course for misleading their country. Though I can not support the Senate now as they would never accept my help especially since I slinged some mud at them. This will ruin my reputation but I can not lead the public astray. Have all the media publish this story."

OOC: it was the senate and the communists vs. the pres. forces, but I'll be willing to combine them and subdue the communists. And just to let my country assassin do his job, I'll be adding in the last bit. tell me if you want to get rid of it.

Chancellor Tyne was confused as to what to do. The president was dead- the foreign assassin had called it in before the news got out, so he knew that it wasn't merely disinformation. The assassin had left for his own land now. he doubted he would ever see him again. All traces of his involvement were being removed.
Gambino had asked for the people to reconcile, and so had McDermott. he felt that the people would want that. he also knew that the Communist agenda involved the end of capitalism, so they would not be good allies. he signed some papers authorizing the military to shut the Communist party and military down. Now that the Senate controlled both of their forces, it would be easy enough to do so.
he also sent a request for a three-way diplomatic meeting with McDermott and the president of Avalic. he had financial and military leverage over one and pubhlicity leverage over the other, so he was sure the responses would be agreements.

kyle Shah strode into the underground bunker. he found himself unopposed as he walked to the innermost parts. there he found Vincent Gambino sealing an envelope and holding a small handgun with one round. he put two and two together, and decided that this just would not do. He would complete the mission, not the target. He strode forward.
"Come, Vinnie," he said with a smile. "Let a friend help you out with this- suicide is the coward's way out." he then shot him once in the said of the head and left for Fluidism viriline. It appeared that the training program had been a success after all.

President MCDermott walked slowly through the doorway, somewhat annoyed and very wet. His two guards carried the cerimonial crossbows as well as modern GUR-V4 rifles. He put his umbrella down and his guards followed him to the senatorial chamber...

A squad of soldiers promptly relieved him of the guards and the guards of their weapons. The guards, who were treated with respect as members of the same profession as the soldiers, were taken off to a nearby room and given food and some cards.

"Greetings," said Salvatore Tyne. "it appears that we are still waiting for the president of Avalic to arrive. Please, have some food." A worker approached with light refreshments.

McDermott politly declined and started tapping his pen aganst the desk. He could already tell it would be a loooong day...

The president of Avalic arrived at the Senate capitol building in an Airbus A380 due to a message he received. He stepped outside alone with no security detail.

"you know," said Tyne, "I think we will just start now.

"OK, here's the deal. We refuse to join your government. We control the populace's good feelings, the military, and the economy. in all honesty, we are in charge.

"the senate is tired of near-autocratic abuses by the presidency. We and the people want the nation to be run by the senate, with order maintained by a chancellor. We don't want you, and we have the power to remove you. Your reply?"

If you add a list of rights to your Constitution or whatever government policy you have over here, it could get rid of the negative public opinions of the government. I also think you'll be pleased to know we decided to stop tapping into Conservative Morality's telephone calls, e-mails, and such. You could also start lowering down the president's power, you could rule by popular sovereignty, and of course state governments but these are just foreign ideas."

He told me that this war would not be won through fighting or through fear. In the end, it would be won in the publics opinon. Many have defected to the communists because of your nuking of Pug city. Do you think that reducing every other city to rubble will help you? How will you defeat the communists then? What will there be left for the government? Do not try to scare me. You've only bombed 4 citys, none of which have been 'reduced to rubble'. If you meant that as a threat, then you obviously have no idea how tired people are of this war. McDermott laughed cynicly. "Spare me your propaganda, please! You are hardly seen as the good guys, nuking a town full of civilians is hardly seen as humane, forbid good! And do you REALLY think the Communists will share power with you? Do you think they even take your deal seriously? Both of us COMBINED have only about 50% of the populations support, whereas the communists have over 30%! They have far more people on their side then you alone, or even me alone! And as for the army, what army? Before the war, we had a little over 14,000 because of the infected incident. They retained their orders even after the civil war to prevent other nations from invading during this chaotic time. You know that, and yet you suspect me to be a fool who does not know anything about his own nation! Your arguments are those of one who wishes to get along through the weakness of others. McDermott sighed. He was obviously getting nowhere with this. HE got up "This has turned from discussing a treaty to a political debate. I am going to leave now, tell me when you're ready to face the facts that neither of us have the power to stop the communists, and that the president is every bit as much important as the senate." He called for his guards as he picked up his umbrella and walked out the door.

Already at the door, McDermott spun around. "You know darn well what the president does. The president is to uphold the nation's image, he has the power to declare bills in conflict with the Articles, it is his job to negoitiate peace treatys, set the tariff, and only he and the five senate councilers can introduce bills for votes. Now call my guards, I'm leaving."

Tyne clicked a button and the door to the room locked. His bodyguard stood behind him.

"Please, sit down," he said.
"Look. if the senate cannot impeach the president, the-"
He was cut off by he chatter of gunfire. All three politicians lay dead as the bodyguard turned on them with a machine gun.

He called Mao Li. "The job is done now." He left. At the same time, the senate was rather violently dissolved during its planning of the festivities to celebrate the inception of a new regime.
