It has been two long years since the Belldandy first escaped the forcestorm that ravaged their homeworld. Two long years of demoralizing jumps and brief encounters with various hostile races. Although a brief rest at a planet a month ago did provide some relief for the crew. Now Captain Lingun sat in his command looking at his subordinates' faces. Faces of boredom and despair. He looked over at Jilneas, leaning over the tech's shoulders, peering at the scans. "Jilneas report," Lingun said.

She stood up and looked at her captain, "Since we have came out of hyperspace, scans are showing nothing, but a few planets several AU away."

"Helm, set course for those planets. We need to resupply anyways."

OOC: So no large fleets alright, just a lost 300 m long destroyer floating around in space.

Captain Emiko Hondo was in her command chair as they dropped out of warp as well. A new star system had been encountered and she gave the order to drop the cloak.

Hard radiation rolled of the hull of the pioneer class cruiser 'NKS Nebula'. Emiko had inherited this ship when the previous Captain turned 31 and left the service. Now she was a diplomat of sorts as part in the World Assembly on Earth.

As the cloaking device was dropped a grey gun metal ship appeared. It looked like a round saucer 100m wide and long.

The ship was plain with no markings apart from its name in English. This read 'NKS Nebula'.

Then as the standard scans commenced the other ship was picked up at long range.

"We have a contact Captain. Its a destroyer type ship. It dosen't match anything in the computer" the young woman at tactical said.

"Take us in half impulse. Comms, hail them using standard friendship messages and tell them who we are" Emiko commanded as the ship cruised forward closing the gap.

ooc: it looks like this only theres no big bird on it.

Weapons wise its got two forward phaser banks and two photon torpedo tube launchers forward.

Rear weapons are a phaser bank.

As soon as the Belldandy (http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/GeneralZhukov3333/?action=view&current=GanoxanDestroyerMkI.jpg) got in system an alert came on the tactical display in front of the captain. "Jilneas?"

"We are being hailed. Scanners didn't pick up any ships initially, but its picking up one now."

"I see. Comms bring em up."

"Yes sir," a tech said.

"This is Captain James Lingun of the GAS Belldandy."

Captain Hondo accepted the return hail keeping it on voice only for now.

"Captain Lingun, this is Captain Emiko Honda commanding the Neo Kirisuban Starship 'Nebula' " the womans voice said, her english accented but perfect.

"We wish you no harm and are exploring this region of space" she added.

Their weapons and shields were still down but they wouldn't be caught napping. With the AIW threat against Neo Kirisuban shipping they were always ready for battle.

Thank god.. I thought we jumped into something hostile again. he sighed.

"Very well Captain Honda. We are also wandering about trying find our home. We are in need of resupply and will continue in system for a planet suitable enough to resupply our ship. If you wish to conduct diplomacy we can meet at said planet."

He looked over at the navigations and nodded at the officer in charge. The Belldandy made its course towards the planet and sped past the exploration vessel.

"I'll meet you there Captain" was the reply as the Neo Kirisuban starship sailed gracefully on.

Once they reached the planet they'd start the survey and send down probes. They had no interest in colonisation but curiousity drove them on.

If it was safe they'd collect plant samples and send the other readings home but they could also help out the Belldandy which looked like it had been in space a long time.

The Belldandy settled over the clear blue planet. Crewman looked in awe at the paradise below them, haven't seen a planet that beautiful since well ever. Lingun sitting in his chair looked at the tactical display in front of him, a yellow triangle representing the Kirosuban vessal. Jilneas walked over to the command chair by the holo bar PDA in hand. "Sir, scans are showing moderate landmasses on the planet, 60% covered by oceans."

The information was uploaded to the display. Lingun pointed his finger and moved it in a diagonal fashion. The dsiplay zoomed in on one of the landmasses. "This should be adequate to our needs. Land the ship near that mountain range. Get two Arm Slaves ready for some propecting."

"Yes sir."

The ship started to enter the atmosphere, its hull slightly reddened but returned to normal as they entered the stratosphere. The crew that were in their quarters has a nice view of the planet below them. The beauty started to make some of them cry, knowing they would have to leave this heaven. Seli was getting dressed into his combat suit, getting ready to pilot his Arm Slave, suddenly the comms in his room rang. "Sargent Grostin, you have ten minutes to get to the hangar." Sargeant Major's voice echoed the room.

He headed out the door, when it opened it showed Nisa knocking Seli's face. "Oh I'm sorry," she covered her mouth with her hand.

Seli backed up covering his eye, "Its..its alright."

"Are you sure!?"

"Yea. Hehehe." rubbing the back of his head, smiling. That hurt, man she knocks hard. "Well what can I do for you?"

"Well I heard that you were going out for a scouting mission, and well..." she hugged him, catching him off guard. Seli blushed, "Good luck."

"Hey its just a routine scouting mission, no need to get worried, but... thank you."

The comms rang again in the room, "SARGENT GET THE HELL OVER HERE NOW!!"

"Oh crap." Seli and Nisa looked at the comm speaker. "Heh. Sorry I have to go."

"Okay" Nisa looked at Seli running off to the hangar.

Upon arriving at the hangar Seli stood at attention near the other scouts. "Report for duty, Sargent Major!"

"You're late goddammit. If this was a drill I'd be kicking your ass into space, but on the alternative, you got extra PT training."

The other scouts leaughed as Seli's head bobbed down in despair. "You two wanna join him!?"

The other pilots gulped and resumed attention. "I didn't think so, well, you have your orders. We have five minutes before landing. Simple scouting mission, report any findings, resources are your primary concern. Once we have comfirmed the area, we'll send in the engineers to mine the area."

"Yes sir!" they said.

Seli got into his Arm Slave and made the routine checks, learning from his last mistake on Relka he made triple and quadruple checks on his systems. "Scope 1 ready!"

"Scope 2 ready,"

"Scope 3 ready."

The ship landed in a clearing, local fauna started scattering running off in different directions, birds flying away. Hangar bay doors opened and the three Arm Slave jumped in different directions.

After the usual initial scans to make sure this watery paradise was what it appeared to be a small shuttlepod left the 'Nebula'.

On board was Captain Hondo, a young female scientist and two female armed guards. They all had holstered pistols and the guards wore short swords in scabbards. The Captain and scientist wore scabarded honour daggers.

They all wore the same basic uniform. A red wrap over jacket with a black knee length skirt and thigh high black boots. They were also young and good looking.

They were asian humans and like her away team her crew was all female as well as being all business. This was a serious planetary survey and the scans would also be taken from the ship once probes were launched.

Captain Hondo was in her mid twenties and stunning. The old spacer stories hadn't been wrong about these warrior amazons who explored for knowledges sake yet were just as deadly with the sword as with the phaser.

"Ziggy run diagnostic scan of this mountain range."

"The mountain range contains some nickel-copper deposits. Palladium can be extracted from these minerals. Scans are showing iron ore deposits one kilometer to the west."

"Scope 1 to Belldandy. Scope 1 to Belldandy. I think we have something here. Five Kilometers north north west of position. Leaving beacon now and continuing mission."

"Good sending engineers to that position now."

"Copy."

Lingun saw the red square designating the shuttle come down on his immediate left display. "Lieutenant, relay a beacon to give the explorers our position."

"Yes sir." she complied.

Lingun saw the red square designating the shuttle come down on his immediate left display. "Lieutenant, relay a beacon to give the explorers our position."

"Yes sir." she complied.

On the other side of the sector in a barren system the Starlight Torch was busy refueling in the asteroid belt. The tidani Lorekeeper class ships was in the middle of its deep-space recon mission of the region.

Captain Dorres passed time on the bridge by reviewing reports and requests from the ships lead agent of Eclipse. He had long ago gotten used to surving under Tidan's intelligence service. As captain, this was his ship, but as far as the agents were concerned they were in charge. It was a little like trying to fly with an admiral watching over your shoulder, but after several long term deep-space missions it was just business as usual.

Just as he finished reading one of the latest requests the Chief Agent himself contacted him from the Analysis Deck (A-Deck). Captain Dorres activated his comm. "Agent Rorde, what can I do for you today?"

"Hello Captain. What is our refueling status?"

"Sequencer tanks are filled and the reactor tanks are 63%. Another day should top us off."

"Very good Captain. We have detected a ship entering the area belonging to our ally Ganoxa. I'm going to go ahead and make contact since we are almost done here."

"Thank you Agent." Dorres closed the channel and sighed.

The following message was sent to the Belldandy:

<Ganoxian Vessel, this is Tidani ship Starlight Torch. We noticed you entering the sector around systems we have labelled unsettled. Is there anything we can do to assist you?>

Following the beacon Captain Hondo and her team soon found the other away team and made their introductions.

On the Belldandy, the shuttle just passed the bridge when one of the comms techs yelled "Sir! Incoming message from deep space."

"Well..." he gestured.

"Yes sir."

After listening to the message Lingun was a little surprised to hear someone recognizing them. Tidani? Who are the Tidani? he thought.

"Send a reply."

"This is the GAS Belldandy, Captain James Lingun speaking. May I ask how you came to know our affiliation?"

OOC: This destroyer has been lost two years prior to Ganoxa joining the GFFA.

Lieutenant Jilneas stood outside with two guards. The guards shouldering their bolt action rifles, stood at attention two paces behind Jilneas. Jilneas saluted Captain Hondo, "Welcome to the destroyer Belldandy. May I show you inside to meet with Captain Lingun?"

ooc: understood.

Chief Agent Rorde read the reply and was puzzled. He put it behind him though, with all that Ganoxa had been through in the recent past perhaps there was a reason for them being unaware of the alliance.

<Captain Lingun, I am Anthony Rorde. I am from Tidan, a member of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. Ganoxa has recently joined the Federation, which is why I was able to identify your vessel's hull design and power signature. I was not aware that any of your ships were in this region of space.>

Lieutenant Jilneas stood outside with two guards. The guards shouldering their bolt action rifles, stood at attention two paces behind Jilneas. Jilneas saluted Captain Hondo, "Welcome to the destroyer Belldandy. May I show you inside to meet with Captain Lingun?"

"I would be honoured" she replied her three colleagues with her.

She'd introduce her science officer later once she met the Captain properly.

The fact that they knew where there home is overwhelmed Lingun, and his crew. Their expressions of joy and exasperation, to the brink of crying. Talk began to run rampant amongst the crew, talk of seeing their loved ones once again. Lingun began to reorganize his feelings and keyed up on the comms.

"Glad to hear about home Anthony, our ship khas been lost since the Imperial invasion of our system. We had barely escaped from the forcestorm that had engulfed our planet and the remaining fleet. Two long years we made random jumps through hyperspace searching for home and now," he was breaking up with joy, " now you have answered our prayers. Bring us home. Bring us home Anthony."

Lieutenant Jilneas came aboard just when it was announced they were going home. Despite being with a foreign envoy she jumped with joy, "Yes! We're going home!" she then looked at the delegation. "Um..ahem.. excuse me. This way!" she smiled.

They entered into a conference room, "Please wait here. The captain will see you shortly."

Captain Hondo waited along with Lt Commander Etsuko Barris. Her father was a Federal Union officer but she chose the Neo Kirisuban fleet.

She was 19 and slightly taller than the the rest of the crew as a resut.

So they waited.

Anthony was silenced by what he heard. The veteran intelligence officer had an uncharacteristic moment of emotional release as the joy on the Ganoxian's face overcame him.

<Captain... I don't know what to say. I didn't expect much to happen on this mission, but I am so glad we were out here. We will be finished refueling here tomorrow and then we will come to join you. In the mean time I will contact headquarters to request all information we can give you about your nation since you left. We don't keep security information about ourselves or our allies during long range missions like this, but I am confident I can get you everything you want to know. We will join you soon Captain.>

Over what was recorded as night on the Starlight Torch the refueling process wrapped up and shifts changed, but Anthony was on a channel with his home hoping to soon tell the Ganoxians what became of theirs.

"Thank you. See you soon." the transmission ended, he smiled. His commlink rang soon after.

"What is it?"

"Captain our guests have arrived. They're waiting in the main conference room."

"Oh right! Be right there."

Five minutes later the door opened to reveal Lingun. He walked in and excused himself, "Pardon me, I was attending business. I hope your stay wasn't long? Well anyways, I am James Lingun Captain of the GAS Destroyer Belldandy."

He looked over at Hondo, her image reminded him of the Kaishek mercenaries used in the First Forellian War, the mideval war fought between the Kingdoms of Linguna and the Forellian Empire.

Captain Hondo smiled slightly and politely replied "I'm Captain Emiko Hondo representing the Neo Kirisuban Federation and its nice to see you in person.

May I also present my science officer Lt Commander Etsuko Barris."

The two guards they brought were in the background and these asian women wouldn't have looked out of place in a medieval army. Neo Kirisubans lived and died by the sword even now and had a great reputation as cunning warriors.

ooc: their uniforms are similar to the Starfleet uniform as seen in Star Trek II: the wrath of Khan

"Greetings. Now that names seem to be in order, what can we do for you today?" Lingun asked.

Meanwhile at the mining site, the engineers began tunneling into the area most likely to hold the most ore. The extraction process would begin within the hour.

"Captain meeting new people is our job. We can offer you our assistance as well if you need it.

I'm sure my crew would also like to get onto the surface but we have to run the standard scans first to make sure its safe" Emiko replied.

"Well it would seem that our nation has entered into an alliance. An ally is on their way here to make repairs on our ship. You see for two years we've been working with a bust navigations computer and been making random hyperspace jumps through space. Luckily we didn't run into anything serious like a supernova or worse a blackhole." he laughed," but anyways we could diplomatically put in a good word to my superiors for future relations between our nations."

Meanwhile Seli Grostin, was still scouting the mountain top, when suddenly he saw the Arm Slave that belonged to Scope Two hopping away. Seli looked over and saw that something big was chasing him. Falling trees down like toothpicks, barreling down on Scope Two. "Scope Two whats your 30."

"I got something big chasing me, I might have stumbled on their nests. The AI didn't pick up anything," he said.

"Alright. Come north about three kilometers. I'll cover you."

"Yes sir."

The pilot did as he was told, Seli aimed his 57mm sniper cannon at the opening to which, if the pilot lured it correctly, would come out into the firing zone. "Duck!" he fired a shot at the beast. Shot it square between the eyes.

"Nice timing sir."

"What is that thing?" Seli said looking at the monitor of the zoomed up image. The beast looked like it could stand at least 15 meters, lift a school bus. "Belldandy, we're going to call it a day. Data will be uploaded upon arrival."

"Copy that Scope One."

"Well it would seem that our nation has entered into an alliance. An ally is on their way here to make repairs on our ship. You see for two years we've been working with a bust navigations computer and been making random hyperspace jumps through space. Luckily we didn't run into anything serious like a supernova or worse a blackhole." he laughed," but anyways we could diplomatically put in a good word to my superiors for future relations between our nations."


The Neo Kirisuban Captain nodded and replied "I doubt you'll need our help with repairs given this turn of events but theres still a planet to explore down there. We'll be hanging round for a while anyway so if you have a chance I'd like to invite you to dinner so we can get to know each others cultures better."

Diplomacy could still take place along with exploration as they shared this world for a while.

The Starlight Torch arrived in the system. The large vessel made its way from the edges in towards the planetary orbit. Refueling had finished and during the trip Anthony had pieced together all the relevant information. As the ship approached it attempted to hail the Ganoxian again.

<Belldandy, this is Starlight Torch. I'd like to meet with you.>
