The Hyperborian Star Empire

It is hear by known by order of Khan Alexandria, Khan of The Hyperborians, That a State of war has started Between the Childern of The Moon Goddess and The Evil Terran Federation for the Terran attack on the UNARMED colony of Mordor. The Terrans, evil beings that should never be allowed to live in Peace for this Cowery attack on a Defenseless Colony, have said that we have built aSuperweapon against them. These monsters speek lies and faulse tales to try and destroy all who are good.

This war is a Fight to The Death!

The international community would do well to note the Hyperborean's repeated belligerence towards the Terran Federation, as well as their planned assault on the Federation capitol. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13585245&postcount=11) One should consider carefully the Hyperborean history of deceit, slander, and warmongering before coming to the proper conclusion that their existence is a lesion upon creation, and that their cancerous civilization is best removed from the universe before it can spread further. Therefore, we call upon all thinking beings to ignore the feeble lies of the Hyperborean race, and to put an end to them for all eternity.QUETZAL

Before any Offense against The Terrans could start, the Hyperborian Imperial starfleet would have to do something about a Planet killing ship known as The Warlock. The enemy ship had to be destroyed to save The Gamma Quadrant from the Terror of The UTF.

Knowing that It would be deadly to try and attack it with a Fleet of Capital ships, and a large loss in ships, Corvettes and Long Ranged Fighters could be better. Imperial Techs found a weakness in the Ship also.

from what they knew of the Planet Killing Weapon, It was a Missile that could go in FTL Speeds, so a few Narua-Sin or GravWell Projecting ships, would be of use against The Warlock's Main weapon and against the ship it self. But It wasn't the Missile that was the weak Spot, but The launcher, it would have been a Missile Launcher or a Missile Tube. If a Torpedo was fired at the Missile Launcher or Tube, The Ship would be destroyed in a Chain Reaction.

The Hunt for The Warlock had started

the Hyperborians were also going for small scale warfare, Raids on Supplylines and Trade routes, attacks on Boarder Colonies, small attacks on bases and spying, Assassinations, Sabatoge and other things in what was called "war of The Flea."

These things would spread also to nations allied with The enemy that were joining it in war against The Hyperborian people.

From Khan Alexandria.
To The Travellian government.

We will not attack your Trade, nor any Trade from Neutral nations. We do ask you not to ship any weapons to The UTF. If any attacks are made against your Traders, The Hyperborians will cheek to see if we did it by Mistake.

Since trade is not restricted by the government, merely protected, we cannot comply. However, the Travellian government per se has no interest in shipping weapons. While individuals may do so, we only protect their right to do so. Provided what they ship is legal within Union space, they may do as they will.

While the government of the PLANTs would like to remain neutral in this conflict if possible. With our vast territory something is bound to happen and at this time we would like to extend a open arm to any people replaced by the sure to come battles. Also any attacks on ships carrying refuges in or near our territory will not be tolerated. Any attacks on trade ships to and from us will not be tolerated. Any battles to close to our space will be met by a fleet at our border, if any such ship comes to close we will open fire to prevent any such conflict from spreading to our territory.

While The war was starting, The Hyperborians were getting their economy on a war footing. The Hyperborians were in hopes of Useing their own Industral power to build up Their Military might.

Trade was also good, With the Empire opening up to trade, The Economy would soon be in fine power.

The Mines were working at a all time high, so were the Shipyards, factories on The Forge Worlds and Farm Worlds were produceing food for The Military and civilians.

a Draft was in efect to raise The Army to a number of over 12 Million. The navy also.

Slave workers were soon working on Ships and other weapons in The Forge worlds.

This was the Home Front.

Grimbola, the Janis System.

This was where the Hunt was to start..

The great hunt for the Terran Ship Warlock, the Hunt to take that Planet killer down. This Hunt would be the decideing factor in this war against The Evil Terran Federation and the Hyperborian Empire.

The Hunting Fleet.

12 Shan-Lhan (Hyperborian Corvettes)
6 Nin-san (Hyperborian FTL Interdictor cruisers)
8,000 Lupian-Packi (Hyperborian Long Range Hunter Fighters)
10 Fosi-ban (Hyperborian Fueling Ships)

This was the Hunting Fleet, small light ships ready to take on The enemy Ship. even if it took then till the end of the Galaxy for them to find that Ship and Destroy it. Admiral Shang Li was to lead her small fleet against one Large Planet killing Ship, protected by fighters and a fleet of Dread capital Ships, posably slower then the Hyperborian Ships.

It was time to hunt as The Fleet jumped into Hyperspace.

Considering we both are members of the Interstellar Trade Federation, and express freedom of trade and sovereignty in sharing and welcoming of kindness, we take heavily on your declaration. Therefore, I have seen fit to take steps to assure that no harm to the Federation Populace, both Galactic and Terran, will not come to pass. I offer you warnings:

-You shall not initiate attack on the Capital of the Terran Federation
-You shall not initiate attack on trade routes
-You shall not initiate attack on planets

If you disobey these requirements, a full state of war will erupt, and you will be wiped off the Galactic Map and your planets Annexed into the Federation for study. We take heavily on Imperial actions, like yourself. Do not tempt the resolve of the Federation, and our combined allies in the Terran Federation.

Secert IC: The Hunter Fleet, Hyperspace.

The Fleet was in Hyperpspace, heading for Deep Space in the middile of enemy territory. The Mission was now not only after the Warlock, but another ship, a symbol also of the enemy.

If they got that, then The enemy would be struck hard, It was a old ship.

The Orion was The Target.

Admiral Shang Li knew that the Orion was a old ship and no doubt beloved by the enemy. If that was destroyed, Then the enemy would lose Morale and the enemy would sue for peace.

This was the fight for the Galaxy.

“In coming message admiral “said the young tactical officer looking over to the older admiral, who happened to be standing over the tactical map. Federation forces had already been put on DEFCON one at this stage, fleet chatter was increasing; Terran systems were being locked down.
“Yes what is it?” responded Admiral Alexi his hands behind his back his eyes peering at the tactical panel in front of him.
The tactical officer continued to speak after he heard the acknowledgement from the admiral, his voice was coarse and strong.
“Sir, we have two, one is that operations have been successfully completed, and the system is ours, construction and colonization teams will be moving in to help them rebuild, second we apparently have an incoming fleet, SLOP’s have reported increased reports of hostility coming from the steppe border.”
Alexi raised an eyebrow, his hands rested on the large console, as the bridge dimmed the stars starting to surround them, as they saw their fellow ships in a massive 360 view, the screw of the bridge could think they were actually in space, as thousands of stars formed around them, dim, or bright, they could see the world bellow other planets in the distance, they could zoom in to any location with this, even ones several light years away. Alexi smiled a bit crossing his arms as he formulated a plan. He knew in his head that if they wanted to hit something it would be big and nationalistic warlock he was onboard, so he looked over to his tactical officer the ships engines rumbling as red light blared in the now dark star lit room.
He said in a coarse voice sighing gently.

“ I want all ships to disperse, have them hide behind planets or whatever but I want the steppes to come in to get us, once they do we spring the trap everything we have!”

The tactical officer nodded he smiled a bit as the plan was rather worked out, his hands gliding over the glowing holographic panels. The message was sent to the other ships, they could see the other ships massive forms dispersing around them, moving out with glowing streams of white and blue particles from their engines, hundreds of ships, small and large moving at high speeds towards the large planets around them, Alexi sighed leaning back on his chair his eyes panning the massive space around the ship, locking on to the UTS republic , Repulse and Enterprise all flowing in a standard cruiser pack formation towards one of the planets in the system.

Mean while, alpha squadron, beta squadron, delta squadron and gamma squadron SA-40C’s had formed up a defensive line around the warlock. Trent sat back in his cockpit looking around his eyes fixating on the tones of stars around him, this would be the eight battle he would have been in since his career started, mainly minor skirmishes, yet he was considered a veteran, his mind was uploaded with the memories and experiences of stroger von hister, the veteran fighter pilot that flew against the forces of enemy fleets for a hundred years strait , he knew what he was doing, he was single and young, and like a hot shot pilot always eager to shoot something, he saw the ships move away to for a lack of a better term, a hiding spot. The time for war was upon them Trent rested his hand on his control panels he leaned back on to his chair again just waiting, the fleet had moved in to position weapons ready, the warlock was in front of the planet like bait waiting there, as soon as enemy ships closed in the warlock and every other ship in the system would out flank the fleet and close in for the kill.

The enemy fleet wasn't going after any Hyperborian Fleet, what they had spotted was The Small Hunter Fleet, now by passing the System. It wasn;t going to the system, Mordor would be left for the Invasion Fleet.

On Mordor, the terrans were as dumb as they looked, The Hyperborian Colonists had ran for the woods and hills, save places from these evil beings and now the Terrans would face something that they would never stop

The war of The Flea.

a Geurillia War against The Terran Invaders that would not stop till they were dead or drove off.

In fact while The Terrans wer busy with trying to built their Ugly Buildings, a Hyperborian had Planted a Tiamatite Bomb. The Bomb would go off and take out a area of 500 feet like a Mini Nuclear Weapon, with out any radiation.

and the Bomb was to go off.....NOW.

The Hyperborians where planning on a attack on Mordor, with the plan on Recaptureing the Colony from The Terrans. This would also start the planned Invasion of The Alpha Qaudrant to force The Terran Federation to end it's Plans against The Hyperborians.

but Before the Hyperborians could attack The Terrans, the Hyperborian would attack any enemy Space Stations, Outposts and Colonies in The Gamma Qaudrant. Lissening Outposts were to be targeted.

The war would spread.

over 5,000 [i]Jim-kanh[i] (Hyperborian Attack Fighters) were ready for their Mission against any target found, as Scout Craft were being readied for war in The Gamma

The Hyperborians were now massing their forces for the Battle of Mordor. the Hyperborians were getting ready for the attack to reclaim their colony from the Terrans who had unjustly attacked a UNARMED colony. This Act of war would end in The Terrans out of Mordor and The Hyperborians back in Control.

first The Hyperborians would cut off all Supply lines to the enemy at Mordor, a Blockade of The Mordor System it self. an Attack on the enemy Station would also cut the enemy fleet off. This would crush the enemy fleet as The Hyperborians were sending raiders into Terran Space to Attack Trade Routes and Supply lines.

and The Hyperborians were now building a new fighter to take on Terran Fighters. Known as The Ranfhang-Janfang or Hyperborian Strike Fighters. These Would soon show the enemy that they would fall to the war of the flea.

The Hyperborians were also starting to isuse letters of Marque for any Privateers to hunt down Terran Ships and Chronosian Ships also. These would make sure that Both sides were Equal in this war.

Trade was well known as Part of war as it was of Peace. Who ever had more trade and Supplies could win the war. So like The enemy, The Hyperborians had planned to cut off enemy Trade.
and To Counter enemy Privateers, all Trade ships were well armed and they had fighter or Corvette Escourt.

The Tonnage War had started.

Sauron.

The Homeworld of The Hyperborian Race, well Defended by a FTLi Field around The System, strong Planetery Shields and Anti-Ship Defenses and battle Stations. Here was where the Invasion of Mordor would start. on the planet, 500,000 Hyperborian Warriors and their Vehicles were being massed for the attack. But not a Attack on Mordor.

Something else was planned.

On The ensembly area, The Troops where marching into their Transports. Calvary on their BMT-7 Swoop Bikes or YAN-189 Speeder Cars, Infantry with their Blasters, most looking like flintlock guns of the 18th Centruy of Earth or Crossbows and Longbows. Most of The Warriors also had Swords, Spears, Pole Weapons of many types. Artillery was loaded on to their Transports along with deadly Tanks, From the fast wheeled Stag Beattle Tank to the Large Horseshoe Crab Walkers. Turbolasers that looked like 18th Centruy Cannons, only much larger, were pulled on to the Transport Ships by Mammoths. Elite Warriors like The Tarkaans, Nagi-Samas and Jasassions were on their Large Transports.

In the Air going into Transports weer Airspeeders, Gunships and other Aircraft for fighting in the Atmosphere of of The target.

The Terran Federation, will not apologize for the obvious fallacies put forth by the steppe imperialist, the Terran Federation, applauds the vast time it has been given to more heavily prepare its fleets to rout the arrogant steppe dogs, as such request to the steppe empire has been denied in all ways possible. Good day

It was rather amusing to the admiralty, that this empire would make an ultimatum to the United Terran Federation, when they themselves were about to be hit by a fleet. The Third fleet had been dispatched several days earlier, their mobilization, Commander jarred stone stood on the UTS hood, an older class of dark tech battle ships that had been in service before the warlock, his hands folded upon his uniformed pants, his brown eyes staring in to the holographic tactical map. The UTF had given orders to the third fleet to spear head a strike in to steppe territory taking what seemed to be a rather busy hub of a system several light years within steppe borders. He looked up standing tall as he lifted his toned uniformed body from the leather like chair. He started to speak peering over to his tactical officer, as the bridge was lit with a blue hued Terran light.

“Tactical, send a message to allied forces available and tell them to go for a three pronged assault, I want to take three systems as soon as possible..”

The tactical officer nodded his smooth hands running across the rather glimmering holographic console, a message was quickly typed out and sent via quantum entanglement to the fleet and the allied forces available in the area, it read.

This is the UTS Hodd, we are requesting assistance in an assault in to steppe space, our main plan is to have the third fleet assault the main hub in that sector, while having allied forces attack other systems to draw the enemy away , letting us take the kill.
The message was short yet informative, jarred just sat back down on his chair folding his hands, over his lap, he started to speak with a commanding voice as he looked over to the AI, his hands lifting up as he said.

“Engage chronoshift drive”

With that order, the space surrounding Port Albeos was lit up; crackling blue vortexes and energy discharges engulfed every single ship with in an instant, the hood itself rushed forth its chrono drive, crackling with power as the massive 200 ship fleet disappeared from the vastness and void of space. An instant later the fleet appeared at their destination, crackling vortexes of blue bursting through the quiet, ominously vast, utter darkness of space. Jarred stood up, a grin came over his face; the third fleet would now wait for their allies to begin the assault on the system, he had a plan, he would send a token force in, and then when the enemy surrounded it or attacked it, he would jump various waves of ships to surround the enemy fleet, at this point though he would have to wait for allied back up.

Mean while alpha squadron was sitting in the hoods bay awaiting orders, the pilots were in the mess playing poker, hot shot pilot Matt drill bit tailor, and his wingmen converced.

“Full house Ya cunts!”

“Oh come on I only had a strait! Second time in a row drill bit” said a younger man sitting across the table smoke billowing from a cigar he had in his hand, his eyes locking on to the copious amounts of chips on drill bits side.

Drill bit responded with a chuckle “Oh come on you know I’m the master at this game”
Another wingman just shook his head placing his hands on the table asking.

“You hear about the mission?”

Drill bit asked as his friend said that “mission, Yeah what about it?”

The wingman responded “well I hear we’re going in to take this system out”

Drill bit said “yeah I suppose, but nothing we haven’t done before, eh guys?

The wingman shook his head but said “yeah but these guys are cocky we can use it to our advantage.. play the sick, and inexperienced roll to draw them in”

Drill bit smiled and said “already starting to think like me rookie, good stuff… good stuff…”
The men knew this would not be an easy fight, regardless of the inexperience, of the enemy in dealing with Terran tactics, not only that most of these men and women had families, drill bit didn’t though, the rookie didn’t either, and both of them knew they would rather sacrifice themselves, to let their tied down brethren and sisters, get back to their safe homes. Even the crew of the Hood knew this would be a fight, but a well worth one, as they also escorted troop transports, and combat transports to assault the planet. The Terran Federation chose this system to be an example; an example of not only milltary might, but the Federations resolve. The ships moved in unison, ever so slightly they glided and rumbled towards the system making sure to pace themselves until their allies had gotten the message.

The ships demonic bodies pierced the darkness of space, their engines pushing out particles of blue and white behind them, lighting up their black hulled bodies, impending doom would have probably been etched in to the minds of the enemy as they saw these demonic looking machines of war, these takers of lie, these fists of retribution and punishment. But time would tell, and fire power would tell, that striking out against the Terran Federation was a worst mistake than the steppes had ever done, it was total and utter war, and the steppe empire would be placed under the foot of the glorious democracy that was the UTF, by any means necessary. They must know this, and for this reason the dogs and demons of war had been unleashed upon them in such a grievous manner, and such a large show of force. After threatening the terran home system with attack also an insult, and insult to the intelligence of the country, the crew, the captain nor the pilots or troops. Would have that, they would fight to the death, they would kill anyone they find, and so help them god they will destroy every steppe ship and installations of war they could lay their hands on…. It was the waiting game now…

The UFT may have thought it would win, but The Hyperborians had some tricks up their sleeves. When Th Hyperborian Empire was planning to invade The Abh Empire, the top minds of The Hyperborians were working on a way to use an enemy's FTL against them. a virus, undetectable and unstopable was made. The Virus Program was a AI that could get though any Comptuer Defense. The Galaxy wide Messenge that was in The Terran Fedration had this Virus in it.

and Once The enemy Fleet or any enemy Ship Reached Hyperborian Space.....The naviComptuers on the enemy Ships will chnage the Course of any enemy Fleet right into The Dark Territory, a region in the empire that had nothing but Black Holes and Anti-Matter, FTL was imposable in this region and no one had ever escape because any ship that enter was then Black Hole food.

An instant later the fleet appeared at their destination, crackling vortexes of blue bursting through the quiet, ominously vast, utter darkness of space. the Jalbam System.

the enemy was no doubt heading here. This was a strong point and more defended then any other System in the Empire. It was on the route to Sauron.

Infact The Planet was surrounded by a Asteroid Field that was around the whole Planet in a Globe of Rocks. Behind that over 400 Ships were massed, along with hunderds of thousand of starfighters and over one million Imperial Troops. Everything was EMP Shielded, a FTLi Field was spread though out the System and Planetary Shields and Planet Side Defenses that could repale any Attack.

and the fleet was well Armed with Anti-Matter Missiles.

The enemy was in for only death.

EGO- I assume you have a status report, Asher?

ID- He better damn well. I was busy kicking Super's ass at Unreal Tournament 2651.

EGO- Still playing the classics, are we?

SUPER- The full immersion doesn't get any better after 2312, and I like the map packs for UT2651 best anyway. And Id only wins because he cheats.

ASHER- Ahem. Business, gentlemen? We can discuss your pastimes later.

EGO- Your report then, please.

ASHER- Thank you. The planet designated OCZ-154 has been successfully pacified. Disorganized resistance continues on the surface, but is limited to settlers with small arms and improvised explosives. We plan to deploy Avatar forces to aid the Federation in cleaning up the area.

ASHER- Meanwhile, we have detected incoming Hyperborean forces. Their numbers are sizable, but limited to strike craft. Given my compliment, and those of my escort craft, projections indicate that they will be dealt with with minimal casualties, easily replaced via mass tithes from in-system resources.

ASHER- Reports have begun to trickle in of Hyperborean raids on Chronosian commerce. This hostility seems likely to provoke a response from the Imperium, and possibly their allies. Anagonian and Coredian forces are also predicted to intervene in the conflict, bringing projected force ratios to 21.514 to 1, discounting letters of marque issued by various factions.

EGO- Thank you, Asher, most informative. Present opinion of QUETZAL is to bolster your forces via Battle Groups Naphtali and Levi, unanimous. You will remain on defensive duties until further notice. Deployment of Naphtali and Levi will be determined at a future session. You are dismissed.

ASHER- Gentlemen.

EGO- Now, for the next matter on the table. Message broadcast to Federation forces was received. Content was initially judged to be of purely propaganda value, but closer inspection indicates said message contains an attachment.

ID- Virus, obviously. Wanna open it for shits and giggles?

SUPER- Oh dear, here he goes again...

EGO- Apologies, Super. Motion passes. Paris I Drone has been designated Mary. Athame squadron Osiris of Joseph has been designated Pasteur. Uploading attachment with time lock, Mary entering quarantine mode. Time lock has expired. No change detected.

ID- Just wait, Ego, ol' pal, it'll be a virus.

EGO- We shall see. System, hibernate until activity is noted from Mary.

EGO- Ah, finally. Logs show a twenty three second delay. Took ages. Firewalls seem to have put up quite a good fight. Mary is accelerating. Calculating trajectory....

ID- Toldja it was a virus. Fiver sez it goes for the local star.

EGO- Negative. Trajectory indicates deep space. Further analysis suggests a singularity dense region of space.

ID- I'll be damned. Not really efficient. Will probably take a couple millennia to get there, assuming we don't just hack it back first. Silly.

SUPER- Are we quite finished with this tangent? I'd like to actually get some work done.

EGO- Fair enough. No further items are on the agenda, business is thus concluded. You are dismissed.

Mean while on the spehian border, another fleet of 200 ships and over 600,000 troops, the commander of the UTS Prince of whales sat back in his chair as his massive fleet rumbled in to the darkness of space, their chrono shift drives activating, the massive fleet jumped from the border in a split second in to another front of Steppe space, carving a hole in space and time they lunged forth their bodies shimmering and glowing with a slight bluish hue.

Jarred had heard about the other fleet moving in to steppe space, and as soon as he had gotten word he stood up, he started to pace gently, and said with a slight grin coming over his smooth pale face.
“Engage the enemy lets go in!”

With that the entire fleet had begun to move , 200 ships in unison formed in to a wedge, 100 ships had fallen back to stay behind while another 100 moved forward their drives pushing out streams of particles behind their rough hulled engine pylons, Jarred looked up again as the his ships bridge began to dim, stars glimmering and appearing all around the bridge, planets and enemy ships marked, as they were thrown from a utilitarian looking Terran bridge in to the middle of space, the tactical officer keeping his smooth hands upon a floating holo console. The bridge rumbled with the noises of engines, and charged up weaponry. Jarred stood up resting his hands on his sides and fisting them as he just looked out towards an enemy fleet in the system, he said as he motioned his hand up with a smile.

“Fire!”

With that all 100 ships had opened fire, thousands of crackling beams of dark energy flung from dual emitters, cutting through space, missiles with hues of yellow flames coming from behind their bodies lunged forth as well, graviton drivers recoiled again and again as they fired charging up and sending shells flying at enormous speeds. The darkness of space was filled with intense fire coming from the closing federation fleet.

Mean while SA-40C’s flew from every single fighter bay on every ships rushing out with a stream of particles coming from their four engines, drill bit was leading alpha squad in a defensive formation of the fleet, he looked around as his cock pit was dimmed he was sitting in the middle of space it seemed like looking at every single star and every ship, his personal AI plugged in to the powerful SA-40C mainframe AI. He looked back and said over the comns

“Alpha squadron from up on me, at nine eight Charlie foxtrot mark two “

He moved his control surface and the fighter banked with enormous speed and accuracy with a jolt towards the new positions the rest of the fighters following, they avoided streams of fire and graviton rounds as they moved in close to the Federation fleet.

The second fleet had jumped in a core system area, they were forming up on the outside of it, the commander sat back in his chair the bridge going dark just like it did on the hood, his fighters lunching as they moved in to the system seeming blitzing at high speed letting loose a torrent of crackling energy, missile and graviton fire filling the void up with blue white and yellow shrieks of fire, they fleet at both systems were lit up with hellish light as they moved almost in tandem towards each towards the center worlds , the light, shimmering over the rough demonically black hulls of the ships.

Inside the UTS Prince of whales, the commander heard reverberating booms and crackles, the view on the bridge lit up with utter blue, white and yellow, flashes could be seen he just sat back immersed in all of the masses of fire coming from his fleet.

And no sooner had the Union fleet begun their attack when a flash of light appeared between them and their target. Now between the Union ships and their target, as well as absorbing their fire, were thirty ships in a spread formation, their shields fluxing as they took hit after hit, yet still stood defiant against the Union ships. They made nary a move but to put themselves between the Union and their target, and a single transmission was sent to them.

"By order of our commander, we have been commanded to inform you that Tankai and Jalbam are now under the jusidiction of the Wolf's Dragoons Mercenary Company. Cease hostilities at once, or we will seek retribution for any losses we or the planet incur."

Meanwhile, a second fleet of equivalent number appeared in orbit over the planet of Jalbam, and as soon as they attained high orbit, they began to deploy DropShips and DropPods down to the planet to begin the construction of the first Wolf's Dragoons base.

The view of the planet was wonderful from beneath the mercenary lines. The oceans and lakes glistened in the sunlight, the edge of the world burning golden against the black of space. It was truly beautiful, enough to allow one the illusion that there was no war raging silently above.

An illusion quickly shattered by the appearance of an Otagian battle group emerging from the Continuum. The unnaturally black eggshells of their shields marred the perfection of the world below, like holes cut in the fabric of space. The thin atmosphere glowed red as their drives fired, keeping them aloft, spinal mounts facing the mercenaries above. It even carried some faint sounds to the world's surface: Guns pounded into action, the shrieking wind of the torpedo drives, and the faint hum of the FTLi system engaging.

Hundreds of thousands of SCCAMs soared out from the surface of the vessels, green edged singularities now ringed with miniature hurricanes as they devoured what scant air existed at this altitude. Massive railguns boomed, c-frac shells lancing into the mercenaries as grav drives strained to keep the massive ships from crashing into the planet below.

Just as fire lanced upwards, more shapes arced downwards towards the planets surface. The burning cherries of dropships braking slammed down towards population centers, while landing shells slammed home again and again in uninhabited zones, disgorging Herakles units across the landscape. In space, WiSpec transmitters began to blare, rads high enough to burn off the paint of nearby vessels screaming their message to everyone within a few light minutes.

This is ONS Naphtali. You will surrender immediately or face summary destruction. Those that surrender will be boarded by Avatar forces, and be detained until cessation of hostilities. You will not be harmed. Those that continue to fight will be destroyed. Message repeats. This is ONS Naphtali...

Since there was no fleet around Tankai, it was defenseless in Space, but on The Ground, it was another story. Ground based weapons were soon being fired. Turbolasers and Ion Cannons were soon being fired aganst the Otagian Fleet. as for the enemy dropships, they would face a full scale attack from the Ground. Calmon-shi Gunships were attacking any Dropship in the air. those that landed would find no one in the Towns.

Being a temple world, the enemy had finaly caused their Doom. over 800,000 Warriors were now massed, with many Vehicles. They were behind some odd looking metal shield like object. in fact, the things were moving, all ten of them. In Font, over 20,000 Calvary riders, On HorseDroids and Swoopbikes headed for the enemy. 200 Stag Beattle Tanks rolled to the first Town that the enemy had landed. The Treaded Vehicles stopped and then fired. the Two Horns soon fired what looked like Black Lightning. This was a energy weapon that no one had even seen outside the Hyperborian Empire. one of thse Bolts of Lightning soon struck a Horse and it was soon just bones, all flesh was dust. Buildings blew up as the Tanks fired.

on the other Side of the Planet, a fleet of Civilian Ships was leaveing the System, all Civilians were Evac, leaveing the system till the Invaders will destroyed.

and the enemy wouldn't be fallowing them as from The Planet, 10,200 Fang-packi, a type of Hyperborian Intercepter Fighter were soon heading to stop any enemy fighters or ships from Stopping The Civilians, all of them Shamans.

the battle of Tankai was to be to the death.

Civilian infrastructure is abandoned. Enemy force concentrations detected at perimeter. CREW use detected. Analysis indicates that CREWs are tuned to destroy soft organic matter. Assessed as harmless. Probability of further armaments deemed likely. Permission for orbital response obtained. Violence is granted firing solution. Open fire.

A Herakles Avatar, of the cruiser Violence Is My First Resort, stood idly at the edge of the town, calmly watching the approaching forces. It was poorly situated for defensive purposes, but this body was one of thousands, expendable, and the vessel felt an insatiable urge to see what was to occur first hand.

It observed the flash of lightning from one of the tanks, noting the lack of effect as the blast washed harmlessly over its metal skin. It observed Avatars of other vessels moving quickly through the wreckage of the city, hulling down and taking shelter in ruins and basements. It observed dropships pirouetting in maneuvers that would pulp any organic, inertial dampeners or no, as they dueled with the Hyperborean gunships. It observed variable laser fire from orbital vessels picking the same gunships out of the air, diffused gamma beams burning through wide swaths of air with inhuman accuracy.

It observed the blazing white streaks of rail-launched projectiles streaking towards the densely packed Hyperborean positions, dozens of the neatly drawn lines racing towards the ground about the town. It observed the blinding flashes of purest white, followed by the telltale mushroom cloud of the multi-megaton nuclear detonations. Then the shockwave hit, dirt and rubble and heat shattering the Avatar's form, and then it observed no more.

_______________

A few hundred kilometers above, the Violence observed the quickly spreading rings of destruction, the torus of nuclear fire neatly encircling the Otagian position. The shockwaves would damage the town, but it would be largely spared from the worst of the blasts, which were thrown out in a blanket over the Hyperborean forces, with a wide margin of error provided. To be sure, the pressure differentials in the blastwave would reduce any organic to a quivering pile of jelly, but the reinforced hulls of the dug-in Avatar forces would be virtually untouched, sheltered as they were in the eye of the storm.

Turning its attention away from the majesty of the nuclear holocaust, the cruiser noted a fiery glow beginning to spread along its aft shields, viridian and azure daggers arcing upwards from the planet below. Ground emplacements then. Idly, the cruiser swiveled its aft-most railguns towards the planet, loaded a salvo of hardened penetrator rounds, and fired. The c-fractional rounds, while designed for shattering the armor of battleships, were perfectly capable of slamming through a planet's crust, and should have no issues with cracking through any defenses the emplacements might possess. After all, even a near miss would vent magma across a wide area.

Finally, it noted the fleeing civilian targets, and their fighter escort. They were still hours away from reaching the edge of Naphtali's FTLi perimeter, but it wouldn't do to let them escape so easily. The Violence sent out a quick bulletin to it's compatriots, notifying them of the present trajectory and acceleration of the retreating vessels, and watched the fleet's Athame drone swarm boil brightly away, hundreds of thousands of green glowing rings giving chase to the fleeing civilians. Orders were to disable, not destroy. With their engines gone, the fleet could collect and catalogue the refugees after the battle.

With Most of The ground Force gone, Tankai was lost.

But The enemy would lose today still.

The Hyoerborians did not want to be captured so The Ships that were running had something that would make sure there would be no Prisoners.

The enemy would be surprised as The Ships Started Blowing up! The Fighters and Evac Ships were self-destructing. The Reason was that they were a Warrior People and they would not be prisoners or slaves, so they did what they would do..........Kill them selves.

Death was only the Final Victory, as the Hyperborians said.

The battle in that system was seemingly over, the commander sat back and smiled crossing his arms as his eyes now turned over to those blasted mercenaries, he looked over to his tactical officer his hands moving down to his sides as his pressed uniform was lit by the radiant glow of surreal and colorful explosions. A sadistic grin came over his pale yet smooth face, he sighed gently starting to speak.

“Target everything we have on them make sure no target goes un painted, charge main guns on the largest ship and open a channel”

The tactical officer nodded, suddenly the entire federation fleet came up in almost a semi sphere formation rushing at high speeds to surround the mercenary forces, crackling energy built up in their thousands of guns, and massive spinal emplacements. Fighters followed suit in several wedge formations surrounding enemy fighter formations with constant mini jumps. Graviton driver cannons were equipped and ready to fire.
As the channel was opened the commander smiled his eyes panning and peering over the ships ahead of them.

“This is commander Francisco Thompson of the UTS prince of whales, we have you surrounded, the enemy forces have been annihilated, and you are on your way to the same fate, surrender, and prepare to be boarded by allied forces..”

That message was broadcasted thorough the system, mean while commander Jarred on the UTS hood was pressing his forces forward.

Fire rang out from hundreds of emplacements on cruisers
and battle ships rang out with crackling beams of pure energy slicing through the quiet sanctity of space, lunging out at enemy forces, the demonic hue of fire shimmering over the black hulls of the massive warships , shrieking blue graviton rounds flew at high speeds behind thousands of pulses and beams and energy, dual stage missiles braking apart at close ranges lunging at enemy targets blink displacing in tandem with blinking FTLI fields.

Specialized dark energy plasma torpedoes, not used before in battle had been authorized to be used, and with hundreds of tubes open, warp flared blue and dark green bursts of energy flew in to faster than light lunging towards enemy forces they flew at enormous speeds, their warheads pure Dark energy plasma, when they would explode, the amount of concentrated plasma would create rifts in space and time.

The commander on the prince of whales , had targeted his own dark energy torpedo from his ships on to the enemy vessels.

OOC: I am ending this war.

IC: The Hyperborians soon decided to go into Isolation, for ever. since the Universe was against them, the Empire would Never allow any Alien or Human into Imperial Space again. The Planets Tankai and Jalbam were blocked by Minefield, shutting them close, no one would ever get into them again.

on Mordor, the Bodies of 80,000 Hyperborians, male, Female and Pup were found dead. Their Animals wer also dead.

The Hyperborians had shut them selves off from The rest of the Galaxy, till the end of The Terrans.

The mercenary fleets were quick to receive word of the mass suicide of the planets of Tankai and Jalbam. Aboard the lead flagship of the fleet over Tankai, the commander, one James Pryde, held his head in his hands, disgusted by the seeming cowardice of the Hyperboreans. What use was a mass dead bodies to its rulers, let alone the rest of the universe at large?

With the people on Jalbam dead, the fleet there was quick to pack up and get the hell out of that miserable mortuary of fresh corpses. By technicality, their job was complete, even without having had to do anything. Now, the question was this for James: would the Otagians and Terrans let them leave? In the back of his mind, the lack of honor the Terrans had helped to generate scenarios. Most, he could see ending in death. However, there might be a way to play this to his advantage, provided he did this right.

"Affirmative, Prince of Whales," began the reply. "This is Colonel James Pryde of the Wolf's Dragoons Mercenary Corps. We formally surrender to Union forces and yield control of Jalbam and Tankai to you. However, I must kindly refuse any boarding action whatsoever by your people. We merely wish to leave now that our job is...well, I can not exactly say that it was finished, per se...we simply wish to leave with the payment we received from the cowardly Hyperboreans. They deserve absolutely no respect from us. As a show of good faith, my fighters will be returning to their hangars, and our weapons shall be powered down and receded to their proper bays."

And no sooner had he said those words, the weapons on the ships powered down, retracting to their proper storage zones. The larger guns mounted on the exterior of the hull were also placed back into their proper form of unuse, pointing straight ahead of the ship with absolutely nothing targeted. Furthermore, the fighter squadrons quickly returned to their hangar bays, making no maneuvers that could be conceived as threatening. Once everything was in order, the comms opened up once more.

"I trust that, at the least, this much compliance is satisfactory to allow us passage from your newly acquired systems?" And in the back of his head, James hoped to whatever higher power there was that the Terrans would prove to have a shred of decency...

This is ONS Naphtali. You have been granted passage, Colonel Pryde. Please proceed immediately from the system. Note that any further action against the Regency or the Terran Federation will be viewed as a declaration of war, to be prosecuted until sterilization. Your execution has been stayed, Colonel. Do make good use of this second chance. Naphtali out.

With that, the fleets parted, drawing back to a defensive orbit around the planet. The mercenaries would find their exit vector clear of obstructions, without further interference from the Terran or Otagian forces.

OOC: Craptastic, yes, but I believe that we would like to simply get on with the settling of the soon-to-be-renamed planet.

((Thanks Otagia.))

"Affirmative, Naphtali," James replied. "Wolf's Dragoons departing from space in three...two...one..." And after the declaration of one, the fleet promptly flashed out of the system in a bright light, never to be seen again in this part of space...
