Everyone has been nervous today, but I'm not sure why. I asked around and evidently theres some trouble with a murderer in some backwoods village that we have to take care of. I don't see why everyone's nervous, but I sure am pissed off at this! We're the CM army, not the police. I suppose it's a sign of how bad these times are getting that the local police can't even stop for a serial killer. Ah well, I suppose it's better then guarding the border, nothing ever happens there.

It seems that the higher ups decided that MY squad shuld go. As we drive along in the truck, I wonder, if I met with the killer, will I have the heart to shoot him? Maybe when we get there the locals will already have him. Not much chance of that though.

It seems we're finally here. The locals seem rather disturbed by these recent murders. There were a few shouting in the streets about demons and such, but those nutjobs are to be expected. Unfortunatly, the locals haven't caught him yet, I guess we'll be wandering around in the forest.

Oh god... I don't know how much longer I have, so I'll make this quick... We were on the patrol, and we had found a run-down trailer park. We thought this is where the muderer might be so we checked it. We should have never stepped inside that death trap. As soon as we got in... "They" started pouring in from all sides, I don't know what they were, but they weren't human, anymore at least. We tryed to fight them, we really did, but they just kept coming, bullets couldn't stop them, bullets barely distracted them, we HAD to run! but then they started catching up to us. Sargent Smith was caught. I didn't bother looking behind me, the screams told me all I needed to know. and then, we found a cabin, we ran inside and locked the doors. I looked outside, and reliezed that we had forgotten corporal O'riley. What I saw next was-an abomination! I will never forget it should I live past this living hell.. They caught up to him and started EATING him! I swear, I know I wasn't hallucenating, I saw them rip him to pieces and EAT his Flesh! And now, as we stay in this cabin, we can hear them banging on the doors, and moaning!... I don't know how much longer I can take this...

Conserative morality rocked by bio-engineered disease!

Recently the government of conserative morality has admitted to reating a disease originally created for use aganst other countries, but the test went "far too sucessfully" says one senator. The diseases symtoms include destruction of higher brain functions, devolp a taste for human flesh,near immunity to pain, almost complete destruction of the vocal chords, and premature rotting of the skin. There is no known cure to the disease, and aproxamatly 3 in every 10 people are immune. Stay away from those who exhibit any of these symptoms and contact authorities immediatly to stop them before it spreads. Avoid all contact with saliva,blood, and even skin. CM government is willing to accept all and any help, both to quell the recent riots aganst the government, and to stop the spread of this disesase!

Notquiteaplace would like to offer a considerable amount of assistance in this situation given that the following is adhered to:

The virus is recognised to be an extremely dangerous and foolish idea. Using it on a nation would risk a "zombie world" type scenario, something no war is worth. Secondly in the wrong hands it's dangerous. Finnally it must be contained.

On solution of this problem all samples and records of this virus will be safely disposed of, vaccines will be distributed to involved personnel and the ability to make this granted to notquiteaplace and any nation requesting it. Even enemy, due to the above, should they exist. Any samples of information found will result in trade sanctions and possible action. Such a virus is unsuitable for military purposes and would serve no positive purpose due to it's infectious nature.

All material concerning the virus is needed. Methods of infection. Cross species infectiousness and effects, time of incubation, survival out the body, if the virus is fatal or will clear up (if it is not fatal, we will not kill any humans but will instead sedate them), if immunity, treatment or vaccination is possible anything else. The following assumes eventual fataility with animal transmission. If people are found to be able to be immune or vaccinations possible, we will not terminate positive cases but watch/vaccinate and only kill those who need it. If treatable, we will blood test refugees on entry and attempt treatment of anyone found positive. Should you agree to these terms, we will further elabourate.

Notquiteaplace will provide all staff required for containment but suggests the following.

1) A perimeter around the effected area is made. All human life within is quarantined outside the perimeter in secure environs with suitable solitary holding cells. All terrain within a mile of the perimeter will be flattened for clear sight.

2) The perimieter will be defended by air and land so that no life form can enter or exit without being allowed to do so, mines, heavy weaponry and even anti air weapons should be employed. If the virus suppresses pain the targets need to be destroyed. Even birds will be shot. Notquiteaplace will convert and provide 2 naval class anti missile/aircraft systems, heavily modified for smaller targets and airburst. These systems will not be as reliable as they will have been recalibrated for different roles and the range lowered for higher precision, however we will use more than enough. We'd rather hit a bird with 4 anti aircraft missiles than miss it. The explosion of a nearby missile weapon should not only destroy a bird but burn it, sterilising the corpse. On top of this incendary flak type shells will be used.

3) When all are evacuated and no lifeforms are near the border, troops will be driven, fast from the perimiter and the area napalmed and bombed. This will be done on a short time scale so that the the clear mile is adequete. The area will be utterlly flattened and destroyed, but we feel that with human population removed, this is necessary.

4) When the quarantined people have shown no (new) infections within 3 times the incubation period (it seems short) they will be tested for virus and if found to be clean, released. Depending on how infectious the virus is and how long it lasts outside the body, their clothing/possesions should be destroyed.

5) Notquiteaplace will provide soldiers and aid in rebuilding and replanting the destroyed area or rehousing anyone who does not wish to return. The people who left should have everything reinstated, as this is entirely the fault of your government for reckless weaponisation and testing.

6) Finnally, notquiteaplace would prefer to provide the majority of the staff in these operations and to run things their way for the following reasons.

a) Our soliders have seen action internally and the ones provided will have been involved in action, they will not buckle under the strain of the job.
b) Our soldiers are more familiar with their equipment.
c) We will be mobilised in hours. Your own troops will be appreciated especially for dealing with your own people.
d) this is a threat to the world we do not wish it to spread further.

While the World Assembly was being rebuilt Ambassador Sakura Yamamoto was working in the temporary location of the Strangers bar. The large tents would host this watering hole for now as she worked at a table using her laptop.

She had an uplink to her starship and was able to receive news of world happenings.

Then this news was picked up and she paled. Her own world had died in a similar way and it had been wiped of the face of the galaxy to prevent further infection.

So a message was sent to the leader of Conserative Morality explaining the Neo Kirisubans had suffered this before and had experience.

She offered the services of the scientists of the NKS Empress Midori who were already in orbit and the use of their advanced technology to help in the situation.

Official message from President Cunningham:
First off, we did not know what we were doing when we created this virus should we ever be attacked. We, had no idea it would be so effective or contagious. We have already destroyed all samples of the virus save one for testing purposes as we do not yet have a cure or vaccine. The virus infects the host in several ways. First is skin contact with the infected with an open wound. Second is any contact with the saliva or blood, as the infected have a high PH level since infection. Third is injection. We have observed that the virus will not infect anything over 40 or so pounds, but this needs more research. It does, as before, gives the infected a taste for human flesh, rotting skin, destructoin of higher body functions, near destruction of the vocal chords, and immunity to pain. The virus shows no effects until the 23rd hour in which the infected start seeing hallucenations. In the 25th hour they pass out and their skin begins to rot. In the 26th hour they wake back up and start hunting. The virus can survive on any living creature but shows no effects on smaller creatures other then the flu-equivilent, and can survive without a host for 5 days, give or take. The virus is not fatal, but it is permanant, as far as we know. We have no cure or vaccine of any kind as discussed before. As for the three out of 10 humans who are immune, the virus cannot live inside of their body so they will not test positive for the virus. Although I am hopeful for a cure, I doubt that one will be found as most of the brainis destroyed. The best we can do is look for a cure for the ones before the 23rd hour. We cannot quarentine the virus as within the last few days, it has spread nationwide. We have used our few military bases to serve as safe spots, if the people who come are tested for the virus, and it's positive, they are sent away. If the people who come are tested negative for the virus, we allow them in. It's all we can do. These creatures are largly immune to pain, but a shot on a vital organ will take them down. They run at a slow jog, so our snipers who operate in 12 hour shifts will be able to handle the safe spots. It's the people who can't make it to the safe spots we need help with, and there are a lot of people who can't. I thank you for your help with rebuilding, but first we must take care of the threat, because if you plan to napalm the infected, you'll have to bomb every town and village in CM. Also, I admit it was our fault. The OTD (Organism Testing Department) had told us that the virus had a low infection rate and that they had the cure, which is normal procudure before testing. Turns out they were lieing. We thank you and accept your help, but the few veterans we have from Burning war, have been reduuced to gibbering wrecks by what these creatures do. I advise you to be very cautious, as these creatures can hide very well in urban enviroments. It seems they have enough of their brain left to relieze that they can suprise (and eat) humans by hiding until they get close. I once again thank you.

The Commonwealth of Coronet City recognizes the danger posed to both Conservative Morality and the galaxy as a whole by this deadly virus, and has decided that taking action would be wise. Therefore, Chief of State Cal Omas wishes to extend the following offer:

1) Economic Advisor Talon Karrde has authorized the First National Bank of Coronet City to issue a loan to President Cunningham of Conservative Morality in the amount of 4 billion Galactic Credits. It is understood that this funding is to be used for civilian relief and protection, and that it will be repaid within a considerable time frame. Interest will be deferred until the crisis ends.

2) A team consisting of nine of Coronet City's most brilliant scientists and doctors, led by infectious disease specialist Dr. Dhagon Ghent, will be transported to a secure facility inside your nation in an attempt to combat the disease.

3) Recognizing the need for secure facilities with which to keep citizens physically separated from the virus, Fleet Admiral Thracken Sal-Solo has agreed to send a convoy of Action VI-class transports modified to be habitable for humans to remain in stationary orbit, and several dozen Grek-class shuttles to be used for moving people from your secure military facilities to the transports. Both classes of ships are manufactured by the Corellian engineering Corporation and are guaranteed to be reliable.

HIGHWAY 6 North Calaveras

The large concrete highway thundred at the sound of Police BMP's loaded with men and equipment. Police jeeps raced down along side there heavier counterparts. Red flags were flying on the vehicles, dancing with crimson and gold in the daylight. Speakers blared out the honor of helping a comrade and partner in need of assistance. They would reach there destination in about two or three days.

Varying alarms rang throughout the Megalopolis (Which was the only city in the Province), and people were seen surging into Nuclear Fallout Bunkers while Civilian Control Officers kept people in as much order as they could. The Provincial Protection Garrison quickly amassed for their deployment. 70% of the Province's forces (Military, not CCU and Police) would be devoted to helping CM, while the other 30% would keep the city-province safe, along with the Civilian Militia. The majority of the forces staying in the city were State Militiamen. Weapons ranging from Flak Cannons to Machine Guns to long-range "Supergun" Artillery Cannons were put Online. As the forces were mobilized, vehicles ranging from C-130s to Hippo-Class helicopters to mere Police Hueys prepared to take off as soon as coordinates for landing were given. Only about 5% of the Province's CCU was being sent.

In Magna Polis, the Capital of the Grand World Order, cargo ships were being loaded with supplies, troops, and machines. The sudden deployment would take two days to begin its journey to CM, and about a week to reach CM. However, the Provincial Forces would begin arriving within a day. Secretly, they also were sending officials from the Biological Warfare Department, all of whom were to blend in with the Army personnel.

At the Continential State Capital City, the State Government was mobilizing even more State Militiamen, along with State Police officers. These forces would be arriving in about 3 days.

We thank you for your support. However, sending in such a large force is dangerous, they only attract the infected. Also, Why would you need Artillary? These creatures do not defend citys as normal humans do. Rather, they gather en masse and wander until they find food.In my personal opinon that artillary would only be a burden. However, in the end the ddecision is yours. We thank you for your support.

This situation highly disturbs us, yet we do not have anything against your chemical weapons program. Usually weapons are meant to kill enemy troops, yet your scientists have created something more disastrous than a pandemic. I do hope you did not intend for this to happen. Before we send help I would like to have any trace of this disease that could still be used destroyed or at least heavily guarded in case these "patients" have any accidents with this creating a larger disaster.

If you accept those terms we shall send 500 armed helicopters, that will escort civilians near the locations you have found these "creatures"; into either hospitals or shelters in our nation or places at your request that must be at least 15 miles away from spotted "creatures". Now I understand armed helicopters might be a problem but, I assure you that we have no intentions of attacking your country or your civilians; I hope you can trust us. If the situation gets worse (more than 1,000 infected) we will send troops equipped with sniper rifles to help out. The amount of troops we shall send depends on the amount of infected. If you also will be so kind to capture at least one of the infected, I shall send scientists to see if it's possible to create a cure or a chemical that will wipe out these "creatures" that will be non-toxic and we will send it to you as your troops know the geography of your nations better than ours.

This news troubles the Commonwealth of Coronet City deeply. With your permission, we would like to offer additional aid in the form of 25 hand-picked Corellian Security Force (CorSec) officers. 20 of these will be for the purpose of protecting the new President Vincent Gambino as well as any other high-ranking officials at your discretion, and the remainder will consist of CorSec Intelligence Department officers to help track down President Cunningham's assassin and bring him to justice. We assure you that CorSec's resources are unmatched in the galaxy and we place full faith in our officers.

The armored-police column made there way to there destination, the area they would hold was roughly the size of three blocks, they had a couple of skyscrapers under there control as well, these would serve as headquarters. The vehicles and jeeps blared out there arrival and saving of the citizens of the country, pro-communist posters and reading material were thrown to the crowds. The people's armed police waved at the crowds, and handed out candy to the little ones. When they reached the sky scrapers, Police rushed out of there vehicles and secured the streets nearby, a civilian was severly beaten for not moving. Light sand bag barricades were being set up, along with search lights, razorwire fencing and loud speakers for public announcements. The Calaverian force now spread out from the two sky scrapers and into the city, setting up outposts on the streets.

Usually weapons are meant to kill enemy troops, yet your scientists have created something more disastrous than a pandemic. I do hope you did not intend for this to happen. Before we send help I would like to have any trace of this disease that could still be used destroyed or at least heavily guarded in case these "patients" have any accidents with this creating a larger disaster.

If you accept those terms we shall send 500 armed helicopters, that will escort civilians near the locations you have found these "creatures"; into either hospitals or shelters in our nation or places at your request that must be at least 15 miles away from spotted "creatures". Now I understand armed helicopters might be a problem but, I assure you that we have no intentions of attacking your country or your civilians; I hope you can trust us. If the situation gets worse (more than 1,000 infected) we will send troops equipped with sniper rifles to help out. The amount of troops we shall send depends on the amount of infected. If you also will be so kind to capture at least one of the infected, I shall send scientists to see if it's possible to create a cure or a chemical that will wipe out these "creatures" that will be non-toxic and we will send it to you as your troops know the geography of your nations better than ours.

The armored-police column made there way to there destination, the area they would hold was roughly the size of three blocks, they had a couple of skyscrapers under there control as well, these would serve as headquarters. The vehicles and jeeps blared out there arrival and saving of the citizens of the country, pro-communist posters and reading material were thrown to the crowds. The people's armed police waved at the crowds, and handed out candy to the little ones. When they reached the sky scrapers, Police rushed out of there vehicles and secured the streets nearby, a civilian was severly beaten for not moving. Light sand bag barricades were being set up, along with search lights, razorwire fencing and loud speakers for public announcements. The Calaverian force now spread out from the two sky scrapers and into the city, setting up outposts on the streets.
Suddenly there was a massive movement. The shuffling of feet. And the eerie groans. "They" had come. Running rather quickly, they were in sight of the barricades and coming in fast. The crowd started to scream and force their way into the skyscrapers in a desperite attempt to get as far away as possible. some of them had passed out. Others started screaming about random things they saw, that weren't really there. A few started attacking the Calaverians. It was an attack from both inside and out...

Shots rang out all over the place, then the thud of automatic fire. Bodys began to hit the deck...dead. " Get the Fuck down!" was one yell. It was utter random chaos, unpredicable and brutal. The Riot police began to make a wall to stop any of them, only letting civilians through. Snipers on top of buildings opened up on the infected. A Officer was frantically radioing a report. Tear gas was thudded repeatdly. The stree outposts were abonded and left as they retreated and made stronger holds.

Then, the crowd all looked up (The ones who weren't infected anyway) a plane! And bearing the sign of the CM special corps! A single large machine dropped down, a HAWC! As this highly experimental weapon began to make it's way towards the infected, the people cheered! The infected quickly turned their attention to the Tactical Defense HAWC. But suddenly, it stopped! Even over the groans, they could hear the piolet inside swearing up a storm. Shots from the anti personnel guns rang out from both sides, but it was no use.Even before the infected reached the HAWC they had jammed. They ran up, ripped out the cockpit, and all that could be seen that was a mass of infected and blood everywhere. The infected then returned their mad run for the largest group of food. The skyscrapers.

A airraid style siren began to go off, as police forces were told to do whatever it was neccessary to protect the skyscrapers, The jeeps and bmp-2's opend up with full automatic "live" ammunition, limps were blown off and people screamed. The BMP-2's auto-canon thudded as it rounds passed through flesh. The streets were starting to appear as graves. Then there was silence as the Colonel orderd cease fire, would they still come?

Then, a building previously thought secure burst open, it seemed that the infected had not lost all ability to think. They had snuck past the main defenses and used the close together buildings to go from one building to another! The infected quickly poured out of the building, only a few yards from the skyscraper and the juicy humans inside. Around the same time, the infected showed their athletic ability by leaping rooftop to rooftop (Most moralite cities have narrow streets, only about 5 feet wide) to attack the snipers...

Radios went silent as the snipers were taken out, men looked up and around firing madly in the night. From above on the skyscrapers men could be seen being overwhelmed. The armed forces began to run inside the skyscrapers with there supplies and barricading the entrance. This was to be a long seige on them, but there were easily over five hundred police in each of the skyscrapers, securing doors with whatever they could find. The outside was a scene from a horror movie as spot lights shown...police jeeps with lights still on, but there drivers dead or with the infected, bodys of both civilian and police splinterd on the ground, shells still cooking. A fur cap with a hammer and sicle....smeared with blood.

Then, another plane flew overhead. And another! All of the moralite army (Or most of it) was being dropped off here! As they parachuted down, helicopters came to provide searchlights! However, there was an eerie silence. Something the moralites did not expect. each squad made it's way to the skyscraper individually. Suddenly, there was a scream from the back! Then the moaning again. The moralites panicked and ran wildly for the skyscraper, hoping that there were some survivors left. Then they reliezed the doors were barred...

The lights followed the Morality soldiers and automatic fire coverd there backs as Calaverian police opened up with sniper rifles and AK-47 fire. They tossed down ropes to help the soldiers climb, seeing as the doors were barred. A soldier yelled down " Hurry comrades of Morality!!!" The thuds of weapon fire continued. Inside the first skyscraper the power was put on low to save energy, the glow of labtops and other electronice devices showed in the dark.

As the Moralites got up on the skyscraper, they fired down on the infected with their high powered crossbows (Most of the Moralite army has little money, and uses high-powered crossbows rather then guns because of the cost of ammo, and retrievable bolts for crossbows) However, the infected had already retreated back into the night. The helicopter piolets panicked and refused to airlift anyone for fear of them being infected...

They were brought in from the darkness and cold. In the darkness of the office room they were met by ten officers, there cigs glew in the dark. They were offered some, repyed by a voice " Looks like your country really has outdone itself comrade from Morality."

One of the soldiers grumbled "Don't remind me." The soldiers now inside and fairly warm, began to relax. Their yellow trenchcoats were very visible in the dim light of the office room. A few moralites seemed rather frightned, but most seemed very calm and grim. Suddenly, a few sounds were heard on the roof. Then more, then the sound of thunder. Looking outside, the moralites noticed that their view was obscured by the rainfall! The sound of the rain also stopped all sound from the ground. They couldn't even see to the next skyscraper! One of the soldiers who had seemed rather anxious before started screaming "I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" He quickly dashed of the balcony into the darkness below. Many of the moralites seemed nervous that the infected below could not be heard. That is until they saw a head peek up from the skyscraper up onto the balcony...

It is possible that the world may be in danger if this spreads. So I have decided we must take action now before we have bigger situations right now. There are over 3 million infected, this is too much for me, and I thought 1,000 would be bad enough. Because of this, at least 13 million are dead and 700,000 that could be possibly infected. I shall send 200,000 soldiers armed with sniper rifles, grenades, and a variety of pistols. We will transport them in helicopters and jets but we must fight them with our guns and explosives as we can not risk looking like an invading army. As the infected climb up the building, the moralite and Calavarian troops are sperated floor by floor. The infected seem to be less eager then the last few times, and seem to be less in number. However, they were still a sizable force, and managed to kill a number of troops before being driven off. "We've won!" shouted a moralite soldier. Others were far more skepticle. However, as the rain stopped, the sun started to come up. Morning had finally come, and they could turn the radios back on to request helicopters to get out of there. After relaying a message, the following came through:

You've done quite well in testing our weapon for us. We heartily thank you all. That weak man formerly known as Zachary Cunningham was too cowardly to release the virus, so I did it for him. As an "accident" of course. We have the cure for the virus, and it can be quickly distrubed to all Moralites. You and the Calavarians however, must die to keep this secret safe. A sacrifice for a good cause, don't worry. I'll see that you all get a memorial service.

"That lousy son of a bitch!" A soldier shouted went he heard the message. Outside two bombers aproached.

"The president says they're all infected. Even the ones on the radio said they'd been bitten" The piolet radioed to the other bomber. "Wow, that's pretty bad, any immunes?" "Not according to them" The piolet then proceeded to decimate the entire area with a complete bombing. Then the second bomber drop a bomb near the base of each skyscraper. Each one went tumbing down in turn...

Blane's hand was covered in blood as he frantically kept trying to turn the radio, tryign to get a signal from someon..a few voices there but not clear..then static. He began driving down the quiet dead streets.

In the light of the information supplied, notquiteaplace would like to offer it's men for assistance.

We suggest that the blood of the immune is searched for antibodies as this may bring the solution to light, meanwhile, we suggest closing down of internal and international transport. If you require any deliveries, we are happy to help air drop essential supplies for the duration of this disaster. An infected creature pounced upon a soldier, clawing at his masked face. The soldier blew it's rotted brain out with a pistol.

"Tanks go and run these rotting corpses over!" said General Tobias Wall as he sliced the neck of an infected with a bowie knife, decapitating it. The tanks ran over the infected and blew them to pieces with their missiles. Too bad the infected pounced upon the armored vehicle and opened the tank forcefully, devouring the non-armored soldier in there. The infected took control of the roofless tank and tried to run over some soldiers, till a grenade hit the inner part of the tank.

"We need aerial support!" said the general on a walkie-talkie. The infected then started falling from the skies, all of them pouncing at the soldiers at once. A sea of blood splattered upon the soldiers, but not all of them were that lucky to have quick reactions. Then a helicopter flew into the air armed with missiles. Then 2, then 3, then suddenly hundreds. The fired missiles at the seemingly endless wall of infected. This was gonna be a long day.

The infected kept pouring in. Wave after wave poured in. Then, a group of infected started leaping at the copters. Almost all of them missed, but thenm one managed to get into the copter. As he ripped the piolet and copiolet to shreds, the Helicopter started falling onto the soldiers below...

Several soldiers perished upon the flames of the charred remains of a helicopter. Hundreds of miles off the coast, several jets were about to take off.

Reinforcements of the Avalican Ground Infantry were a bit too late with at least 2,000 casualties of Avalic soldiers. As the jets were only a few miles away from their destination the pilots and reinforcements felt a sense of fear. They asked themselves, "Why do we need to send reinforcements?", "Is the battle going bad?", "How many of my comrades have died?", and "Is the situation worse enough that it might reach our homes?"

Only a half an hour and they would see the terror of the battle.

Upon arriving, the city was once again overrun with infected. The infected were much lower in number when the Avalacians first came. Now their ranks were strengthened with the infected ones rising again to join their brethren...

About a fourth carrying sniper rifles in the back and the rest equipped with either miniguns or automatic rifles. They entered the city behind their comrades, about then 500 more casualties had occurred. As the infected moved towards them, hundreds or thousands of bullets went into the air, separating limbs, organs, and rib cages of the infected.

Sniper rifles aimed at the infected's rotting head, carefully shooting the brain as time was crucial, you can't have mistakes. A missile blasted a group of charging infected to a piles of limbs, flesh, and bones. The original troops were retreating to one of their storage camps as they had little to no ammo left. "Recently as you all know, there has been an infection of monumental proportions" Vincent shouted over the wind to the test piolets. "There are Avalician troops down there in the city, and we expect them to be hostile. However, in order to prevent a war, do not fire on them unless they fire on you first! Protect your supply HAWC, if he dies, you'll run out of ammo before the hour! Destroy ALL infected personel in the area. Good luck, and godspeed" The piolets quickly donned their auto-eject suits and rushed into the HAWCs. One by one they dropped down from the plane into the city below.

One by one they dropped down on gigantic parachutes. Each piolet knew that if they didn't burn the parachute with their first shot, they weren't going to live much longer. The mass of infected suddenly noticed the large vehicles, and started towards them. They were not the vehicles encountered last time though! These HAWCs had undergone some major changes to prevent the last tradgedy. As their merciless twin anti-personnel guns opened a deadly stream of lead onto the infected, they reliezed one thing. The supply HAWC had been destroyed.

These creatures do not defend citys as normal humans do. Rather, they gather en masse and wander until they find food.In my personal opinon that artillary would only be a burden. While we understand the threat of attracting the infected, many of the soldiers we are deploying are experienced in this sort of warfare, and we don't intend to have them in one mass. Also, the undersuits they wear are a mix between pinnacle-technology ballistics ((Ballistic gel stuff, where it is usually soft and becomes hard when a bullet strikes. BTW, the ballistic tests for DragonSkin were rigged)) and biological/chemical protection. The Artillery cannons of Promethium are permanently mounted, and were made for defence if any force, human or not, attempted to invade.

Infected city nuked! Many voices raised over the situation
Upon the presidents last order before being aquitted for the murder of President cunningham, it seems that he ordered the nuking of the last infected city! Many men have died in the explosion, but at least now the infected threat is gone.

Of course, because the Infection was much better for his people. And why would CM's land matter if the government had let a bunch of brain-burglers take it over? And the greatest danger/disaster this country has faced is this infection. A little bit of Radiation is better then the Virus spreading, perhaps to other nations until the entire planet gets infected.

We consider the use of Nuclear devices as a terrorific way to end a conflict.

We consider the use of Nuclear devices in civilian populated areas as a terrorific act against humanity.

And while the so-called "zombie infestation" was indeed the worst nightmare the government was facing. There were many solutions, less dramatic, to the situation. One of those was encourage by our own nation. The use of Napalm over the city. Used wisely, it would had the same result. But now, Conserative Morality has a nuked city in ruins, wich will affect both people, land and thus economy. And let's not forget the enviromental damaged caused by what our experts consider a "huge nuclear cloud" moving slowly from the nuked city source.

(OOC: Also, I haven't read any post of troops retreating wich pretty much means that everybody that was between blast area will be now dead/dying)

OOC: Actually the majority of my troops pulled out but it left at least 3,600 of my troops dead. But then again the suits my troops used might be able to protect my troops but it depends how many atomic bombs equal 1 nuclear bomb. I heard of stories of people surviving with burns with clothing as thin as kimonos during the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. And the suits my men are wearing are a lot stronger than a kimono. But at least 400 helicopters were destroyed so at least 400 helicopter pilots of mine died and the 11 tank men. Think of them wearing this.

The President of Avalic was not pleased with the nuclear bomb. He was enraged by this outcome. Especially since it was the government who initiated this while plenty of options were still available.

The Secretary of War and the President had a conversation only 10 minutes later after the news. "This is certainly a war crime and it should not go unpunished," said the Secretary of War. "No, warfare should not be the answer. Besides, even though they might not use such advanced weapons, they outnumber us, guns and bullets can't solve everything. Even with our massive uranium mining fields, we can't just cause nuclear warfare to eliminates millions to billions of people. We could cause a major war by doing this. Though, I wish a pox on the government and hope the city never rises again in glory," said the president. And so the conversation just went back and forth.
