OOC: It's back, the old school thread, well I thought I'd give it a whirl, only this is with a twist. Because I've kept Kurona virtually unmodernized this won't be like any school. With no electricity, no computers it's like attending school in the 1800's or something. But fear not, Kurona isn't completely deprived. Some places do have small generators and all dorms do have running water and plumbing.
Anyway, characters can include students of course, you can be native Kuronan or from your own country. I need teachers, and other staff members to join in, including a Dean! Perhaps you want to sponsor the school, perhaps you are just a foreign exchange student who comes in from time to time. Are you a distinguished Alumni? the choice is yours. Take classes, start a club, whatever. You may have as many characters as you like. If you plan on staying in a dorm there is a down payment fee of $250 and a rental fee of $35 a month. However you don't need to stay in a dorm. There are homes in and out of Sonomi willing to take you. No more than 5 people to a single dorm. There are dorms for married couples, singles unisex, and singlesex

Bio: Born to a long line of top chefs who worked for the many nobles throughout the nation of Yurka, he himself had created and run two four star restaurants within the nation of Yurka, along with a widely acclaimed five star restaurant(closed down upon his leaving from the country). He was also the youngest head chef to ever work for the royal family, signing up at the age of 24 and staying with them for six years before eventually leaving to explore other countries throughout the world.

The first nation he'd stopped into was that of Kurona, and after finding out about the opening within the Sonomi University's Culinary Arts Department, he pleaded with them to allow him the chance to pass on his art to a younger generation. The lack of technology and power within the nation has taken some time to get adjusted to, but he views his current position as something of a 'vacation' from the hustle and bustle of his previous homeland.

Materials Required: The most up-to-date kitchen feasibly acquired within Kurona.
Materials required for Students: An apron and an open mind.

Bio: Born to a relatively poor family working within the massive Yurka City II, Karias grew up essentially in obscurity. If not for the discovery of his love of the cello as a child, and later the violin, he would probably have left his current school in exchange for a military education. However, due to these he was placed on the slow-paced path of a concert musician, alternating between the two instruments, and breathing through life until wanderlust eventually began to get the better of him. Due to his lack of education and the large congestion of the cities in Yurka, he realised that the best thing for him would be to leave, but first he would need an Imperial Scholarship to allow him the money to study abroad.

However, due to the vast number of students attempting to get such a Scholarship, it took him years of constant attempts and failures to manage to attain it, eventually managing to bring up his Literature marks high enough so that, along with his musical aptitude he was capable of getting one, and a ticket to the beautiful untouched nation of Kurona.
