as of Early this Morning the Republic of Ebadistan has become the HOLY REPUBLIC of Ebadistan ... the Imammate Shura and the Nass Shura voted unnamously for the change in light of the recent additions of smaller Emirates and non Ebadite Chiefdoms....
Imam Micha Ali Ber has this to say "Today ar Rahman has blessed us to have a majority in both Shuras and voted into being the HOLY REPUBLIC, hence forth all of Ebadistan and her vassels shall be called citizens of the Holy Republic of Ebadistan. May ar Rahman bless us and our Holy Republic."
In other News the Sunni Emirate of Mohammadiyya has sought to become the first Sunni Emirate to pledge bayat to the Holy Republic of Ebadistan, the Emir Amado Shakir and his chief Sheik Husani Shakir issued a joint statment,
"As of today we pledge our selves and out Emirate to the Holy Republic of Ebadistan, they have offred us fair treatment and equality under thier laws, tho we are a vassle commonwealth we will be treated with respect and dignity, we pray that Allah will bless the Imam and his governemt."
Other Sunni Emirates where outraged at the Mohammadiyyate and have pledged to destroy it from within before its resources can be turned over to the Holy Republic.
The Christian Confederation has also issued a statement from its Bishop, Arch Bishop Antony Bassaba Poe "Today we are fearful that the decloration of a Holy Republic by Ebadistan is a direct threat to the peace and stablitiy of the Southern Tier, in its self it is meaningless do to the face we all are Confessional Commonwealth Republics, this adding of Holy to Republic seems to be a statement of opinion we feel will lead to a war of aggression upon our christian lands and values. I pledge my Nations support of any Smaller non Muslim or Christian Chiefdom against any aggression lead by the Holy Republic, or any Muslim or Christian non allied entity."
The Universal Trade Market was up 3% while the Cowrie has reached an all time low verses the Dollar, the UTM has been accepted by the Emirate of Trinidad, and Surinam but both nations have yet to addopt the Cowrie as thier currency. With the addition of Trinidad and Surinam to the UTM the Holy Republic hopes to expand its influence further south into up and comming Emirates of the carribbean south and central America.
