Mission year FY-600 0900 hours:
CMDR Trent hawking a veteran fighter pilot idly sat back in his SA-40C fighter, he looked around the holographic display lined cockpit his eyes locking on to the masses of stars outside of the crystalline cockpit his hands on the control surfaces of his fighter craft. He sighed gently flicking a holographic button in front of him, it was a com unit, he started to speak in a commanding yet dull voice.

“This is Alpha leader, to all alpha squad members, stay frosty covers both flanks, We have about an hour to go before this cargo ship drops its load off… I know its boring guys but it’s important “

“Roger that alpha leader”

Said his younger wingman, who was also sitting in her fighter flanking the massive freighter from the other side, the ships moved forward, the mission was simple.

It was to escort a large freighter carrying supplies and advanced building materials to a newly founded colony near the rim sectors, this was an unknown part of space; the freighter was escorted by two attack ships a cruiser and a squadron of fighters. The larger ships did stay behind in pouncing positions in case an enemy raid or attack happened. The ships moved along towards a midsized terran norm planet, their engine flares pushing out streams of white and blue particles behind them, as their forms were emphasized by the bright orange glow of the sun.

Trent sat back in his fighters chair again, his hand placed on the throttle and his mind connected directly in to the interface panel awaiting any action or any anomalies on sensors..

The planet nick named new concord, was a rather warm lush and green world, probes that had landed and orbited recorded fields of green grass thousands of miles long, jungles and temperate forests covering entire sections of continents, rolling green hills. The water was an odd color , the water had a golden white hue to it, like it was energized somehow, no one knew what it could be but it stood out in every sensor reading they took of the world. The forests seemed to have a lush biosphere; the probes had already begun to map it. The planet was not only bio diverse but it was also mineral rich; the composition of the planet was made up mostly of exotic metals, compounds and advanced carbonite life forms. The world had an odd energy reading over it sort of like a bio electrical field up until the stratosphere. This field sent out pulses through the dark shimmering void of space, like a beacon drawing things to it , it was almost as if the planet was alive… alive with energy …

Words of planet…… ….. ….

“We… are alone… our life… our planet.. our earth our water, Our fire our wind … our lighting and thunder fall on deaf ears, for there is no force on this world to enjoy or harness it, no force to live or protect us , our energies have been traveling out in to space for generations, we have no expectations of mere mortals to understand the needs of planet, but we hope to make them understand when they arrive, we know mortals inhabit the stars using ships of metal and energies of physics, yet they do not understand the force of life the spirit that is Gaia, and we … we hope… to make them see the light, for our previous Children that had inhabited this planet foolishly betrayed us and vanished in a burst of energy crated by their own machines.”

This message, could not be de coded, yet, even the Terran Federation one of the most advance races In space, failed to realize that those signals actually meant something, and that the planet like a motherly figure wanted something to care for, something to nurture and love… The planet did have some structures on it, it was dotted with ominously looming black Egyptian style pyramids, and massive gold and silver plated Mayan style stepped pyramids. Obelisks rained over abandoned ornately decorated cities of silver and gold , over grown by jungle , planes of green and forests…

Other races were sure to pick up the signal though, and they would probably underestimate both the politics of the UTF and the will of the planet to shake foolish arrogant exploiting nations off its surface , once the UTF got wind of what the message meant they would be sure to hold on to the planet like the new home world of humanity, the colony ship neared the planet, it contained not only building materials but also archaeological equipment ….
The Adeptus Ministorum

Michelus Jorlath, Ecclesiarchy Priest and prime figure of the Aglath Crusade, slammed his gauntleted fist onto the table, making a huge crack split along it's length.
"Not good enough gentlemen, not at all good enough. The Crusade is moving slowly, and the Adeptus Administratum wont fund it forever. Give me status reports on the ships injured in the Xeno attack."
A man stepped forward with his hands behind his back, and everyone was almost blinded by the number of medals he was wearing at his chest.
"Your Holiness, status reports are as follows." He clicked his fingers at a red robed man in the shadows behind him.
"Hello Michelus Jorlath, Second-in-Command of the Aglath Crusade so created to venture into unknown territory and-"
"Shut it up!" Muttered another Imperial Officer, wiping his brow with a cloth.
"My apologies, Nicholanas Fonotich, Imperial Officer and-"
"Shut up!" Michelus muttered. "Just give me the damn status."
"Ships Destroyed: Ave Imperator.
Ships Injured or Crippled: The Hammer of Terra
Fire and Brimstone
and The End. I suggest-"
" I don't are what you think Tech-Adept, now please, go back to the shadows." Michelus waved his hands angrily at the Cyborg. It bowed slowly, and backed away into the darkness.
"We need to make planetfall soon, and theres nothing nearby at all."
"On the contrary sir, reports have shown a nearby planet with a breathable atmosphere."
"Good...good, make the advance towards it now, and we'll see how convenient it is."

As the colony ship entered New Concord's atmosphere, another ship, mush larger than the humans, and clearly not terran by design. Its side bore an unusual language not within the knowledge of humans. It bore down on the ships like a hawk, then stopping. It turned and flew toward the other side of the planet. dissapering as it went.
