" General Wolfe, you have a call .... it is Colonel Bland, there was another successful flogging of a thief in public. Came the voice through the speaker on my desk. Putting down my Pipe, full of Marijuana, I grabbed the Phone and Answered it. " Jah Colonel, I hear you've disciplined another scum of society..." My heavy German rooted voice said. My traces of excitement were obvious, Since I'd elected to utilize this new system, The crime rates had dropped tremendously.

" Indeed general, you would approve.....He was caught by a member of your military police.. stealing a box of video cassettes..... he was beaten to inches from death before a crowd. Came the Colonel's voice back through the phone. Wiping the gargantuan smile from my smooth shaven face, I stepped out from behind my desk, and lit my pipe again, taking a few draws. I am, Impressed as you stated. I'd really like to see this man....... where is he being kept I asked as I sat the pipe down, and exhaled the intoxicating cloud of smoke.

I would arrange for a motor pool to Parade me to the spot where the man was being held. I planned to make a public announcement about the beating and threaten any other wrongdoer, striking them with the fear of this happening to them..... He is being left in the square......his near lifeless corpse will provide a glimpse of the future for thieves. The voice replied. I truly HAD elected a worthy soldier to serve as my Colonel. He enforced my laws with an iron fist and swift action for the disobeyer's.

After giving the Colonel details on my plans for the day, he gladly started preparations. Hanging up the phone, I draped on my Black Suit Jacket, to cover up my Platinum plated desert eagles, before heading to the door, to meet my armored jeep. Hopping in, I was handed an AK-47, which I hung across my shoulder, and watched as I was escorted to the town square. Little did I know, this was going to be a LOOOONG day.

"Ah. Another nation which has chosen the path of Dictatorship."
"Perhaps 'chosen' is not the choicest word."
"True. This situation could be very interesting."
"Indeed. Wanna-be dictators have a habit of..."
"Disappearing?"
A wide grin spread over the mans face. "Quite."
"We shall have to hope nothing unfortunate happens to him."
OOC: Could I perhaps fund the terrorists?

It truelly was a long day, the longest part was the entering the nation that also decided to become a dictatorship. Like the rest people were treated harshly there. Like the rest one mad, moronic evil man ruled everything. And like the rest the nation would fail at the hands of one better than it.

Colonel Lt. Michael Severe was at the head of 7 exhausted men who had traveled in the worst of places to there. They had nothing special with them just 9 frag and 7 smoke grenades each, a Kevlar vest each, two Glock 17s each, and either an AK-104 or a Zastava M76 Sniper Rifle. Michael had a Zastava M76 with a surpessor which was slung across his back as he ran through the dark alley ways to try to catch up with the Dictatorial Convoy.

"Colonel the convoy is twelve miles up the road. Orders?"

He stood their pondering. He had an all black uniform and a black beret, the standard for Grestonian Hawks. He concocted a plan in his head then he told it to his men.

"Dig into the sides of road, make a ditch then establish in there."

"Yessir." replied Henry Williams as he ran off to do his work. In a few minutes they had a very small ditch by digging to the side of the road on a hill. The climbed in laid out their weapons. They had two M80 "Zolja" RPGs in which they would shoot at the convoy and stop it.

"You loaded. Good."

Michael checked each guy in his ditch, there was four in all the other three were a bit farther up the road and had their Zastava M76s aimed at where the cars would be. Michael slung his sniper rifle and loaded his AK-104 for when the guards would jump out of the car and attack them. This was going to be fun.

OOC: I hope that is okay with you. Just RP you guy driving up the road then I can attack.

(OOC: I was going to say he gets shot at while he's speaking at the place, but this works too lol)

I don't remember much about what happened next. I remember my convoy, carrying me toward town, the sun was flooding over us, and the breeze blew through my hair, as I lit my pipe again and took a deep draw. The weather was perfect on my sandy Caribbean island, and I thought nothing could go wrong.
spacing out, I focused my eyes on the lines of Palm trees, which formed a canopy over the road. I had no idea of the events that were about to happen..... my guns sat, on safety cool and unfired.....that would soon change also. Turning to the Colonel, who sat stone faced, driving my jeep, I laughed softly. " Isn't it paradise Colonel? the sun...the sand... cool waters and palm trees....... I asked as I looked back at the soldiers riding in the back. I laughed softly as they quickly saluted me and drifted their eyes from mine.

Thats when it happened.....

"NOW!"

With a scream the Hawk nearest to Michael fired one of the M80 Zoljas at the first jeep in the convoy then another Hawk fired his at the next. Michael lifted his AK-104 above the ditch and fired recklessly at the direction of the explosion without looking. Henry rolled two frags onto the street and after they went off he jumped out of the ditch into a roll. As he finished the roll he whipped out his AK-104 and fired at the jeeps.

"Squad One roll the grenades!"

Michael qued it then six grenades flew from the ditch to where they had been firing for the past few seconds.

(OOC: thanks Tops, I use first person a LOT. I'm experienced in it more than 3rd person. Uhmm, you could fund the terrorists if you want. or you could ally with my nation, it's up to you.)

There was a tremble in the ground, and my jeep jarred a bit, almost throwing me out. HOLY SHIT!!! Came a yell from the Colonel. Turning, I saw a cloud of smoke and flames rolling up half a mile from where the two leading jeeps had been. "we're under attack!!!!! Send a second team for backup NOW!!! I barked at The colonel as he stopped the jeep. Jumping out, I grabbed some more clips from the back of the jeep, and a Tactical shotgun, which I loaded and slung across my back. Tossing my AK to one of the soldiers in the back, I ripped a S.A.W automatic rifle from his hand, and made a dead sprint for the trees on the closest side of the road. Moments later, I saw bullets rip through two of the nearby soldiers, taking them down into the sand, in a red pool.

Sliding a clip in the S.A.W. I stuck my head out from the lines of trees, and fired 6 shots, dropping One of the attacking soldiers while he was attempting to throw a grenade. Seconds later the grenade he was killed with exploded, sending bits of sand, shrapnel and dirt everywhere. There were bullets tearing through the air, and trees all around me. and the black cloud of smoke had drifted down, making it extremely hard to see. Spotting the Colonel, stationed behind a dip in the road, I nodded. sure, soldiers were expendable, but my Colonel wasn't.... he was in a spot where he wasn't able to be hit, and this pleased me. Turning in toward the trees more, I ran along the inner line, away from the road. I was going to flank them, and make them sorry they attacked my land.

Henry was the first to fall but Michael wouldn't let the rest of his men die. He started barking orders as continued firing his AK-104 above the ditch.

"Squad Two fire now!"

The semi automatic Zastava M76 Sniper Rifles were fired, each sniper firing two bullets. The six bullets flew the length of the road and hopefully towards the enemy soldiers. They fired again only not all at once and 6 more bullets were fired in different directions. One sniper spotted a man with a S.A.W. run across the road and he took his aim upon him. Slowly, softly as he breathed in he fired two short, but controlled, bursts towards the man.

I disappeared behind a row of trees just as two bullets slammed into a tree where my head had been. Dropping down I pulled palm leaves over me, and aimed with my S.A.W. I was completely invisible to everyone, and I planned to stay this way. No more running across the road for me. Flipping up the stand on the end of the S.A.W. I took aim on one of the soldiers wielding a sniper rifle. Taking slow, deep breaths I watched him for a minute, before slowly squeezing down on the trigger and firing a short burst of bullets at him.

Not sticking around to see if he fell, I leaped up and jumped behind another heavy row of trees, unseen.

Debris brushed into the Hawks face as a burst of bullets slammed into the rocks and pebbles in front of him. Quickly six shots were shot from where those bullets came from. Michael continued coordinating the attack, they only lost 1 man so his men had hope in him.

"Phase Two! Squad One go, go, go!"

They had organized everything before they attacked and while they worked at the ditch so they knew what Michael was saying as he screamed out orders. To the enemies it would sounds like incoherent jibberish but Michael's men knew exactly what it was.

They threw three smoke grenades, each in a different direction, onto the road and in seconds and dark, thick, grey smoke clogged the air and the team pulled on the glasses handed to them. They were abe to see with those glasses so they jumped onto the road and walked slowly and quietly across it. No one could see them through the smoke so the noises of bullets ceased. They found the downed jeeps quickly and hid around them. Michael signalled his three men and they split up.

Johnathon Bright, who had watched and memorized where each bullet came from order the other three on where to fire then they got ready. The smoke was still thick as they fired their AK-104s at trees and brush where bullets were fired from earlier.

John remembered where the loud thump of a SAW gun came from and he whipped out a machette and ran over to the brush. With a scream he jumped into and stabbed everywhere. He whipped out one of his Glocks then fired randomly hoping he would hit someone.

I was crouched behind a cluster of trees, watching a soldier swing like a madman with a machete where I HAD been. Soon I saw the man whip out a pistol through the stinging smoke and start firing. A few of the bullets landed in my direction, but I sat silently, not moving. When The idiot stopped to reload, I jumped out and ripped the machete from his belt. Quickly and quietly, I Placed a well aimed slice across his throat, then stabbed the weapon into his chest as he hit the ground.

Ducking, I kept low to the ground and ran down the road a bit, Behind the terrorists' back, and view. Making sure they weren't looking, I make a sprint across the road, and made my way toward them slowly and silently on the other side.

"Jo-"

Michael went to scream out but didn't for it would give his position away, all he could do was scream inside his head and let out a soft, quiet, "Damn!". He watched as John was slashed down and even though he made sure the man didn't see him he knew that he saw the man run across the road. The smoke was dieing out, soon they would have to run back down the ditch or into a jeep and drive off.

Michael made like he was iggnorant to the man presence and let him creep up. He was on the opposite side of the road then he was when he killed John so he was coming from Michaels left. Michael stiffened then as he heard the slightest noise, Dieter Wolfe breathing, he spun and aimed his AK-104 straight at the man.

The man was right in front of him and it was obvious, the machette in one hand and the SAW in the other. The man was tall and had a nice clean shave and smelled off Michaels favorite smoke, marijuana.

"Everyone dies sometime." whispered Michael to himself as he strated to pull back on the trigger.

The man didn't see him until then, until it was too late. Michael fired round after round after round. The smoke started to clear up a bit, it lingered in the air but wasn;t as bad as earlier and MIchael's remaining two men saw Michael firing and aimed and fired as well. Dieter Wolfe would die.

I knew I had been caught, the leader turned and fired straight into my Kevlar vest. Falling Back, I hit the ground, and made my body go limp. Just then there were Tremendous eruptions of fire as the backup had arrived. Sprinting out of the Trees, Colonel Bland Started unloading a clip on the soldier that had shot me.

I was soon covered by 8 soldiers from my heavily armed militia. The sprang off shots at the remaining two soldiers. getting to my feet, I pulled the bullets out of my vest. and ripped it off. Backing up, I disappeared in a heavy run back toward the jeep. I had almost died, and I damn sure wasn't going to stick around to find out what happened to the other terrorist soldiers. I'd seen enough guts laying on my perfect white sand for a day.

Leaning against the back of the jeep, I took a deep breath and took a hit from my pipe, as I tried to calm my breathing. Picking up a radio from the back I pushed the button and spoke, " Colonel, make sure.... you torture them......until you find out who sent them

I WOULD launch a counter strike... and their leader wouldn't be as lucky as I was. bzzzt....." I think my radio is semi broken...can you *static* can you hear me? over" I sat down on the sand and spoke back. Yeah I hear you...., whats the status?

All was silent for a minute, then there was the familiar crackle of static. There are two soldiers still barely wounded, and their leader... he got hit pretty bad.... but I'll....interrogate them, and lock them up.... he replied.

******* Back at the battle site**********

Colonel Bland slid the radio back on his belt, and delivered a crushing blow to the side of the leaders head with his Desert Eagle. " now.... are you going to tell me who sent you, or are you just going to be killed?" he asked with a smirk, as he looked over at the other two prisoners, being held at gunpoint.

The three snipers had sprinted to the preplanned spot, grabbing as much ammo and weapons from the ditch as possible. Michael was then on the floor with the second target hitting with a Desert Eagle Gun. A large portion of the militia that came to brake up the fight had left with Dieter Wolfe but only 5 remained, including Colonel Bland.

"Now.... are you going to tell me who sent you, or are you just going to be killed?"

"I think my dear friend that neither I nor my friends shall die and you won't learn who sent us either."

It was all an elaborate act. He got his twice in the vest but was wounded by the bullets. The only real injury was the bruise to the side of his head when the Colonel had hit him with his gun. The had confiscated his Zastava M76, AK-104 and one of his Glock 17s. The idiots still hadn't found his second one. Michael thought it out. Colonel Bland held the gun by the barrel so would have to flip it around before he could shoot and Colonel Bland's men had the possibility of hitting their leader if they fired so he would be safe for a minute.

Michael knew exactky what he would do. He moved his left arm as if to hold his stomach because it was in pain. Moving slowly he lifted it closer then at the last second he whipped out his last Glock and shot it into Colonel Bland's throat, this time there was no escaping. As Colonel Bland fell limp Michael ripped his AK-104 out of his dead body as it fell then he let loose a clip at the armed guards.

The bullets hit and he heard screams of pain as the bullets hit their target. Three of the five Militia men in the area already went down and two were left to go but Michael grabbed his men and ran off before the remaining two could kill him and his men.

It was only 7:30 in the morning and they had failed once, but the day was still not over.
