ALLAH ALLAH! Colonization of the Middle East (IC Thread/ Semi Open)

The Middile East, vast and resource rich, practically and oil well with a dessert ontop of it. And now the Great Imperial Republic had found it and was the first to race towards it. Yemen, Oman, and the coasts of Saudi Arabia were the Grestonian claim. As the other nations bickered and debated on who got what a massive fleet of 500 Seastabber battleships, 150 Hermin crusiers and 40 Oscar class subs sped towards the newly claimed lands in an effort to be the first to land and the first to get their claimed land.

Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla the chosen soldier to lead the men into the land and direct all Grestonian actions in the area. He had the Troolt Brigade in his command, the brigade was made of mostly Trooltan Arabian Immigrants to Greston and Sonaa enjoyed that for he had his own kind to fight with and he would blend in with the civilians.

It was a long voyage but was calm for the most part. That was until they saw the sight of the little tips of mountian tops in Yemen a soon to be Grestonian Colony.

The fleet was broken into two, Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla was with the section of the fleet that broke off and road the current through the Gulf of Aden into the Red Sea. A beach head was established outside the port of Aden in Yemen and from there a route was made that traveled through Sanaa, through Saudi Arabian coast and then it stopped at Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Another beach head was set covering from Jiddah to Mecca and various small beach settlements were established along the route where it was deemed necesary.

Colonel Kobashle, who was a tanker in the conflict of Shalrirorchian and Tynish Interests, was at the head of the other section of the fleet, the section that traveled up through the Gulf of Oman and established little camps up the Saudi Arabian Coast. He ordered a beach head to be erected near Masqat and then to build a small blockade near Bi which was near the border of the UAE.

Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla had settled and a wiring system was still intact between the fleet but he hoped to change it and make it go directly to troops in Oman and the East Saudi Arabian Coast. Sonaa had settled a small camp and made a little 20 man search that was sent to go into Yemenian towns and greet the natives. He decided something was to be done to stop other idiots from running into Iran so Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla tapped out a message.

"Hello Colonel Richard Kobashle, objectives have been completed new mission has erected in the process. TO stop the Imperialistic bastards from overrunning Iran and stopping the great Maldorians or Lestahians from colonizing there you must dispatch a small blockade blocking off foriegn involvment into the area. The only ones allowed into the area are the troops from Uiri and Kirav. Also I want you to deploy 5,000 or so men to patrol the Iraq/Iran border and stop Kiravians from storming in. I want us to be the police of this new region."

In a matter of hours the orders were recieved and carried out.

A convoy of Imperial ships had rounded the Straits of Hormuz, navigated through the Red Sea, and now entered the port of Al-Başra, or Mar-Iraq(Port Iraq) as it was about to become.

OOC: Crappy opening post, I know. More to come tommorrow.

Sub-Admiral Asif gazed off into the distance, admiring the cool breeze. His daydream was quickly interupted by the call of one of the many Mandalorian messengers. "Sir, our flottila is almost at the designated position. MNS Zindabad is proceeding forward to secure a beachhead. For all we know, there could be rebels or something!"

"Bah, these people are Muslims! We are Muslim! We will unite these oppressed people under the name of The Mandalore," Asif replied in great haste. Today was not his best day for inspiring speeches, for he was too busy thinking about the possible conflict involving Neo-Ixania. "Heh, again group of nations to fall to the jackboot of the Mandalorian Empire." After his slight chuckle, the Sub-Admiral contacted the Vessel Admiral, ordering him to pick up speed.

After President Kharzev announced the recently added territories in the Middle East, 15 million citizens applied for the free trip to colonize Cripistan's new possesions. The Muslim Leader knew that this would be another chance for his people to live in the land they once reigned over, and didn't want it to slip away. With ports in the Persian gulf, and the Caspian Sea, there was no doubt that the colonies had the potential to prosper. Along with the civillians, an additional 50,000 National Guard servicemen were also dispatched to the region. Because of the large group, the ETA wasn't for another 4 days( IRL tommorrow).Yet, families were already excited. 2,000 businees licenses were granted, and another 1,500 pending approval. The newly named " Hasra Region" would be populated in a matter of days, and the real test would begin, the test of whether or not a new land could be constructed safe, and peacefully.

"Men! We have claimed lands in this new '中亚找'! We must move now!"

The men from Stoklomolvi marched a few steps.

"We are here!"

"Erm, we're still in Stoklomolvi."

"Exactly!"

Silence.

"What?!"

"Hey, we went through a portal into an alternate reality. It's not that bad. I mean really, look at that village over there. It's, erm, NOT one of those preserved villages!"

"You're sure? It says 'Stoklomolvi Commissariat of Environmental Concerns'."

"Hm. Uh, someone's been here before us!"

"Yes, somebody has. Look over there."

An armoured car from the SMPF rumbled over. A man popped out of the top.

"What took you so long, Vasiliy? We already have several fortresses set up and ready."

"Excellent. Prepare Operation Land Rat."

Soldiers saluted.

"Yes sir!"

Infantry started running about the Stok-Kyrgyz border on both sides.

The Royal Palace, Mariposa, Lost Hills

Oil! Gas! Gold!

HRH King Ignatius IX looked over the preliminary geological survey submitted by the representatives from the newly-formed Lost Hills West Asia Company. Although he had agreed to sign the royal charter incorporating the Company and had accepted a significant number of shares, he had declined when the Board of Directors had asked him for five divisions of men (an entire corps!) to defend it. Surely the natives weren't that worrisome!

However, this survey showed that the region, although poor and arid, did indeed contain resources worth exploiting, and the 15 million souls living there would still need civilizing. A military report sitting on his desk indicated that many nations were moving into the region, and one was actually conducting military operations just north of the new territory, christened Oreus, with the purpose of occupying unclaimed territory.

It was clear that the Kingdom, if it were to retain its holdings in the region, would have to deploy a significant military force along with its civilian colonists, advisers, and workmen. The natives were reported to be welcoming of the new government, and their tenacity would make them well-suited for military service.

Thus, His Highness decided to deploy not five, but fifteen divisions of troopers to Oreus. The Duke of Aegina's rifles (X, XI, and XII Corps) were composed of around 400,000 men, and the various other troopers and air forces he deployed in addition brought the total number of soldiers in the territory to around 750,000.

Citizens of the Kingdom had been pouring in for months prior to the incorporation of the Company, and there was already a fair amount of infrastructure built up in the region. The revenues from the natural resources promised to be in the hundreds of billions of dollars a year, and a small deployment of less than a million men would be a small price to pay to make that happen.

Tashkent, former capital of Uzbekistan, Oreus Territory

The strategic transport plane was enormous, and General Iolous Stramenous always marveled at the capability of man to produce amazing things. And the Kingdom to afford them. He was in command of military forces in the new Oreus Territory, and he was also the military governor of the region.

The three light infantry divisions had already arrived, with the heavy tanks of the armored divisions still on their way. Several special forces regiments were dispersed around the country training the locals in the ways of war; the weapons factories of the previous regime were still operational, and there would be no shortage of rifles or ammunition.

"New arrivals sir. The Maldorians came in right after we did so."

"Thank you private. I think some missions farther North might be in order."

Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla opened out a large sized map of all of the middle eastern areas. He placed it upon the table he was sitting at and then took out a little stick, a pointer. He looked up and spoke to the Private.

"Private go get me Colonel George Anderson and Colonel Jerry Right."

The boy left the tent and a few minutes later came back behind the two Colonels. The Private bowed and ran out of the tent.

"Ah hello men. Mr. Right, how was your tour in Drepner?"

"Quite bad actually my entire squad was murdered in a blast."

"Oh great well men look here at this map, we have Southern Saudi Arabia, each coast of it, Yemen, and Oman. Maldorians has some Afghan territory and most of Pakistan. The men from under Colonel Kobashle are protecting Iran for Leastah and I want some men from our section to go over to Israel and protect that. No only the center of Saudi Arabia is unclaimed as well as Krygzstan and Eritrea. The men in Iran can leave for a little to go claim Kryg."

"What about Eritrea?"

"We can wait for someone else to establish it then we can take it from them."

"Good. Jerry, what is the count up?"

"Um, 700,000 men in all. I sent one of the Search Squads to go into villages and draft natives."

"Good. Get a platoon over Kryg in an hour or so."

"Yessir."

Border of Maldorian Held Afghanistan
West of Tajikistan.

The platoon, 600 men in all, was at the very tip of the Afghan border, it almost touched Kyrgzstan but didn't. It would still be 100 miles or so and they couldn't cross into the Lost Hills Tajikistan territory.

There was rumors of Stoklomolvie going over there to take Kyrg so it was up to the Grestonians to reach it first. They didn't have tanks for anything, just AK-47s, a Glock 17, 9 frag grenades and there was 30 LW 2045 APCs which they used to carry them. The APCs were lightly armed so that they could go faster.

They decided to take a short route through China and in 4 hours they reach Kyrg. In the Southern portion little camps were made and a small section of the platoon, 100 men, left to go guard the Northern Border for the night until reiforcements reached their position.

OOC: I did my research and with my Middle East and North American colonies I have 282,260,000,000 barrels of proven oil reserves. Kirav probably has something near that too with his Iraq and Kuwait colonies. Kirav - if Greston blocks the strait you may transport your oil by land through my colony and out through the gulf of Oman.

IC: It wasn't much. It was only 8 emirates. Mostly small emirates. It wasn't worth being called a colony, it was basically a trade post. A trade post surrounded by Grestonian terrtiory no less. Greston's relations with Uiri could certainly improve but as long as they could strike a deal to allow all shipping in and out of a south-east port the trade post and oil mine would be fine. Oil was something normally imported into Uiri from Uir Amerika which had over 170,000,000,000 barrels of proven oil reserves alone.

It was expected that the oil reserves in this new colony would put it over 280,000,000,000 barrels. The only down side to the area was its size. It was just over 95,000 square kilometres. Not to mention the Emirate of Qatar wasn't even bordering the other seven emirates. They needed to cross by boat. Of course, they didn't know that quite yet.

The ship landed in Al Fujayrah, re-named by the Uir as Al Fujara, not much of a difference but it needed to respect Uir word structure. The local Emir was the Emir of one of the eight Emirates to be united by Uiri as the United Emirates of Uir Arabi. The Emirates were Abu Dubi (Abu Dubai), Katar (Qatar), Fujara (Fujairah), Dubi (Dubai), Ajiman (Ajman), Ras Al Kama and Um Al Kawan. A treaty was signed by each one, written in the native language of Arabik (Arabic) and Uir.

This created a union of 8 emirates, ruled by a Council of Emirates, consisting of the 8 Emirs and an Uir delegate. Uiri decided common foreign policy and defense and was allowed to train troops and recruit from the natives. Uiri was also allowed to set up businesses in Uir Arabi although they must obey local customs. Customs, not being defined opened up a large loophole, although mining industry is not bound by this condition. The eight emirates would be operating mostly as they had done before Uir influence although a national of one emriates was a national of all emirates and a national of Uiri.

After setting up the treaty with the natives, the Uir seeked to set up a treaty with the Grestonians to prevent them from closing off the Gulf of Oman, so called because the Uir thought, "Oh, man, how are we going to prevent the closing of this" when they saw this." The Uir realized that they hadn't signed Musandam and that it was crucial to preventing Grestonian closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Hormuz was a Kiravian name which the Uir adapted to Horimuz. The i was barely audible.

It was with these worries that the Uir contacted the local Grestonian Government.

OOC: Greston, assume you gain Musandam, which is the exclave on the strait of hormuz, through treaty by not ever closing the strait of gulf to Uir shipping. This is all shipping in and out of Uir Arabi.

"Here you go sir."

Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla was in the middile of instructing three Corporals on their new mission when Colonel Jerry Right walked in. Jerry walked up to the table and placed the message upon the desk which got more cluttered the longer they had been there. The Audman Arabian Government was slowly looking more and more like the Grestonian Government, confused but proffesional.

"The Uir Influence has wired us. The wiring system is down now that Richard is setting up a land wire so we had to write it out."

"Damn system thank you sir."

Jerry left the tent and Sonaa read his message. In a matter of seconds Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla had a message written out and he passed it down and it was ran to Colonel Richard Kobashle and then delivered to the Uir Influence.

"The Gulf of Oman may stay open, you have our word. It was only closed at first to prevent visitors to Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Thank you for speaking about your concerns in this area. All though to stop unknown visitors from entering and exiting the Strait of Hormuz or the Strait of Zumroh by Grestonian your ships must sail a specific blue flag with a set insignia so we can keep this area free of terror. Unless a ship flies that they aren't allowed into the Strait."

Once the message was received a formal reply was sent back:

TO: Audman Arabian Government
FROM: The Council of Emirates of the United Emirates of Uir Arabi

We understand you concerns of others visiting Afganiri and Pakiri
We hope you can understand that your word may not be enough
In the world of international politics, tricks may be played
And with the intention of roughing out any loopholes
We suggest a meeting in a bordering settlement
We think it best that we both sign treaty for purposes of formality
Perhaps the flag could be designed together?
Grestonian ships flying the flag would be allowed in between Katar and Abu Dubi
We offer Musandam as a sign of peace with the exception
Of a few square km - a negilible amount - in order to insure
That the strait is open even if we are at war with eachother.
It would be a sad day when private business ships are pirated.

The wiring system had been back up so numerous reports from Colonel Richard Kobashle came streaming in all at once. Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla learned that the foriegn missions had gone well and Krygzstan was now also claimed by Greston. Sonaa was pleased and he let a smile out as the messages finished up and a private walked in handing him the message from the Government of the Uir Influence.

He flicked on the wiring system and then sent out a message to Richard.

"Hello comrade, a new mission is in order. You shall be an envoy to the Uir Emirate to design the flag and sign a treatie."

"Yes comrade, reports coming."

"Good man."

The systems was ended and Colonel Richard Kobashle headed over to the Uir Emirate. He raised a small white flag and his three guards laid their weapons on the ground as they approached.

"Hello comrades, welcome to the Middle East. You invited me?"

After Imperial troops secured Al-Başra, they enacted both the Provincial Statute of Mesopotamia, and the Provincial Statute of Petraea. The Statutes established a Governate-level political system in both newly Kiravian countries. It gave fourth-level Imperial citizenship to native peoples, and would slowly advance up to second-level as colonisation progressed.

Already, Kiravians were signing on to become the first colonists in the Kiravian Middle-East. They came mostly as professionals and buisnessmen seeking markets for their services, contractors for the Imperial government to develop the provinces and their infrastructures, and industrialists hoping to make use of the oil and minerals found in the area.

" Sit down, General"
" Yessir, look here"
General Bhata pulled out a map of the new Cripistani colonies, and signaled for President Kharzev to read over the map.
" We have only 50,000 men here! We have reports of another nations division being that high, and they stationed 20 of them."
" Alright General, how many will be needed?"
" If we station another 750,000 troops, we'll have enough men to safely guard are borders for now, at least until another surge need more."
" Send out letters of deployment, we need them there ASAP."

" Good, begin the transportation to the bases. We need men watching our borders all the time.

The three PCFGs that had scouted the coastal section had gotten a clear picture on how far the Maldorians were setting up territorial claims, and then made sure to get the rest back to naval command that was boring in on the Middle East. The Saudi peninsula was getting far too convoluted for Amazonian interests, which weren't so resource-driven (not with a major source of methyl hydrates serving as a major energy source for conventional power at the homeland), but rather driven by sheer imperialism and the chance for competition. As mountain climbers often said - they did it because it was there.

The landing craft from LHD-1 - the ADV Megalith - took off towards shore. They would be careful to tiptoe by the Maldorian claims, but only that far - after that, the Dominion was launching into a free-for-all for the remaining Afghan and Pakistani territories, pursuing the urbanized areas of Karachi and Islamabad in Pakistan and the mountainous safehouses of the Afghan region, along with the urbanized Kabul region. The Maldorians had been able to nab greater territorial gains, true, with more coastline - but the Amazonians were aiming to secure already somewhat-developed areas to exploit and use as strategic launching points. The Dominion was looking for colonization, not neccessarily fighting...but military was the rave.

As such, infantry, artillery, armor, naval forces, and particularly air forces came en masse towards the newly-christened Western Amazonia (as it technically was far more west than the South Pacific Oceana homelands of the Dominion). While forces began to spread out from launching points along the coast, massive movements of thousands of infantry units and armored vehicles moved out in waves, spreading across the country. Resistance would be met with full force...with extreme prejudice.

Additionally, the biggest eye was kept via satellite and naval AWACS craft. This eye was kept on Maldorian ground, air and naval elements - something that definitely needed an eye. The Amazonians hadn't come with tons of units yet - a carrier battle group, invasion battle group, and below thirty thousand total fighting units still wasn't sufficient in the area - for now, at least. It would grow, naturally, but for now information and intelligence was key. This was the start, the most important time - and the foundation was being laid.

Rikar approached the foreigners. The border wasn't marked very clearly but they knew that each was standing on their own soil. Some of the soldiers brought out a folding table and unfolded it before bringing a chair for Rikar and a chair for Richard. It was funny how Rikar was an evolved form of the name Uir, twisted by the Uir language. Rikar first brought out a peice of cloth a light blue. It would be called UN blue but with the recent extra-dimmensional influence causing its collapse it was called Peace Blue in english.

Stoklomolvi tanks rumbled across the border into unclaimed territory [Kyrgyzstan] while aircraft flew overhead and snapped photographs of the land below. These photographs were then relayed back to command, which pieced together a tactical map. Kyrgyzstan would be invaded by a total of 13 divisions with 10,000 men in each one; eight would go south, five would go north. These divisions would then meet in the centre and secure the country.

Tashkent, Oreus Territory

"Multiple contacts! FALCO-1 reports significant unknown troop movements!"

The command bunker at the Tashkent Air Force Base was full of earnest young men watching radar displays, computer screens, and tactical maps. The central table was a large touch-screen (imported at great expense from the Microsoft Corporation), and General Stramenous stood over it now. He called up a live satellite feed. Over a dozen division-strength units were moving into the territory north of Oreus.

"Any communication?" he asked a nervous-looking signals officer.

"None whatsoever, sir. We have received nothing after repeated attempts - FALCO-1 suggests we use different communications technology."

Well that'll be an issue, Stramenous thought.

He asked, "Are they making any movements toward the Peninsula?" The Peninsula was the term the troops had coined for the area of land jutting into the unclaimed territory.

"Yes, sir. Eight of the unknown units are moving south, and their path brings them extremely close, if not into, our territory."

He turned to his aide-de-camp, "Assets in the region?"

The staff officer pressed the table. The satellite feed turned into a topographic map with strange markings all over it.

"As you can see, General, we have two mechanized infantry divisions, one armored brigade, and an air assault division in the region. We also have two regiments of special operations troopers, along with three air wings. We will certainly be able to hold in this terrain should they decide to come in."

Several blinking dots showed the AWACS bird and CAP that were flying over the territory.

Stramenous ordered, "Launch alert fighters. Intercept any planes or troops that come within 50km of our borders and fire warning shots. If they do not stop, destroy them."

Namangan Airforce Base, The Peninsula

Captain Douglas Spring of the 246th Tactical Fighter Squadron was in command of the mission. He flew the TF-70 air superiority fighter, and with 35 others behind him, he was feeling pretty confident about any situation. They were roughly 75km north of Namangan, well into the unclaimed territory,

"LANTERN-1 to DUCK-1, come in. Repeat, LANTERN-1 to DUCK-1, come in," the radio crackled.

Spring checked in. "DUCK-1 here."

"Be advised, unknown aircraft have entered your red zone. We are picking up multiple contacts."

"Understood LANTERN-1." He switched to the command frequency.

"DUCK-1 to all units. We are weapons free, repeat, are weapons free. Warning shots at first boys."

He heard multiple clicks as the planes in his flight confirmed. The TF-70s were brand new, purchased from the Tyrandisians, and they were fairly stealthy, so there was a good chance his boys would be sneaking up on the unknowns. Guess they'd see. He picked a target on his radar that was still over the horizon and fired off a dummy missile that would streak nearby.

"Fox Four. Fox Four away."

IC:

Colonel Jacob Ferrier was the one coordinating Grestonian Military capaigns in Krygzstan and it was his job to keep track of who was who, who remained, and who was stationed where. He had recieved a new batch of recruits, right out of a Saudi Arabian Town, 300 in all. He was pleased with his work. The Stoklomolvans hadn't moved their position yet so the area was fine for then but while Colonel Ferrier was grouping the new batch he recieved a new wire from the Captian near the Kazakhstan border.

"Stoklomolvan Troops closing in on our position, should we challenge them?"

That was a hard decision. War with them would result in a massive dogpile of forces from Europa Atlantica on Greston by currently Kryzstan was part of Greston and their movement into it was an act of war. Jacob decided a diplomatic movement first.

"Tell them to bug off, nicely, then if they don't go or make aggressive movements, open fire. Reinforcements coming soon."

"Yessir."

The wire went dead. Captain William Hroser stood up from his hiding place and pointed his AK-47 in the air. Ten more of his men did the same and walked behind him.

"Jessep, go send an appeal. Quickly!" snapped Captian Hroser.

William turned his head back at the advancing forces and began.

"I am sorry to inform you that the Middle Eastern Lands of Krygzstan is held by the Imperial Republic and this land is one of her colonies. Your stepping foot on this soil without permission is considerably an act of war and we are permitted to fire upon you. I do not wish to do so, so I ask you to politely leave this land."

The words floated into his head but were still not understandable, incoherent nonsense in a sense. But Richard had been near enough Uirs to notice their thick accent.

"Ah, well, um, ah yes here. Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla designed and faxed this."

Robert withdrew a crumpled, mud stained peice of paper. He unrolled it and in the center was a symbol, the designed insignia. It had a large triangle and in the triangle was a large G, then a large T with four stars in the top of it and then an U after the T.

"Time to expand our reign."

Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla had gathered a small force of about 500 Grestonian Infantry Units and 700 new Arabian recruits. They would be in a brute force kind of style of battle as they were being shipped from Aden in Yemen to Bab, Mandeh, and the Port city of Djibout of Djibouti. Sonaa had his eyes set on the African stretch of the Middle East which included Somalia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Eitrea.

Captian Jack Kalker was the one who was in charge of the 1,100 some odd men. They would have little resistence from natives as it seemed they loved the Grestonian Prescence.

Kalker's men were deployed in an hour of arrival they had a head quaters in a village and had a weapons relay from the Yemen coast to them. Supply routes would be key for the battles to come if Greston wanted to win. They had to establish a on land wiring system so for six hours they would be cut off from contact with the rest of the Grestonian Troops.

The missile streaked by and landed in the ground below with a thud and a large spray of mud. [wtf rhyme?] The Sukhoi Su-47s continued to fly by, and with the general location of the missile launch determined it was declared that the Lost Hills was responsible.

Again, thank you for coming to our aid in this troubled time.

In the Empire's newest port city, the first shipments of civillian colonists had arrived. Numbering 10,000, they had mostly come to redesign the city in the Kiravian style, and to live there. Some, still, had the intention of constructing a wholly Kiravian settlement in the district that they called Kûwatia, or Kuwait.

More ships were on their way, carrying thousands of new settlers, who would build new Kiravian towns up and down the Tigris and Euphrates, and rework the existing cities in their image.

By now, all territory south of Samarra had been formally occupied. Bases were being built to house the troops, but the intention was that the bases would one day become small fortified towns, with civillian and military populations.

The more territory the better and with its oil rich content we could share it. Unclaimed Territory, 75km from the Oreus border

The radio crackled to life.

"LANTERN-1 to DUCK-1, contacts have changed course and are heading directly for you. C4I indicates they are hostile. Repeat, they are hostile. ROE have been broken; you are free to engage."

Spring blinked. So riled up about a dummy warhead?, he thought, These guys mean business. He switched onto the command band.

"DUCK-1 to all units. Hostile aircraft inbound, we are free to engage. Attack pattern Delta-Foxtrot-Three-Tango"

Although the enemy aircraft were still a good distance away, about half of the flight fired off long-distance AAMs - around 20 now flew at Mach 6 toward their targets. Half of the flight dipped down closer to the ground, while the other half ascended to a higher altitude. The flight went supersonic, and they would be intercepting the hostile aircraft in ten minutes.

"Hostiles engaging. Prepare to break off."

"Missile detected!"

"What?!"

The missile ripped one of the wings off of one of the Su-47s. It nosedived towards the ground, where it ripped to pieces. Some of the missiles were dodged by the Su-47s, which spun around or looped around the missiles. Others, however, were not as lucky and had missiles impact the nose radomes, destroying the Su-47s mid-flight. After the damage was done, the Su-47s retaliated with ATA missiles of their own before suddenly breaking off their attack. They flew towards the Stoklomolvi border.

Unclaimed Territory, 60km from the Oreus border

"Missiles inbound! Evasive maneuvers!"

A number of enemy missiles were coming in at a very fast speed, and they would be on the Lost Hills pilots in a very short time. The planes turned on their radar jammers as they turned around, and as the missiles approached, the entire flight "hit the deck" and then cut up very sharply. The thrust-vectoring technology allowed for a smooth climb, and the planes then launched flares in an effort to shake off their pursuers. They all made it. Almost.

Captain Spring was not so lucky. The missile on his tail kept gaining despite his efforts, and just before it struck, he ejected. He watched from his parachute as his plane disintegrated below him. The rest of the flight kicked on afterburners and tore for the Oreus border - they'd have to come back for him.

As he drifted downward, he noticed significant movement on the roads below, and it looked like he would end up in a wooded valley bisected by a major highway.

He unbuckled from the seat, pulled out a submachine gun, and turned on his homing beacon. Over the next ridge to the north, people were approaching.

04-04-2008, 01:20
OOC: This is my first RP, so excuse me if I make stupid decisions. I've just been reading through the topic and basing my stats and such of the other nations.

The companies of Arispont were among the most powerful in the Oceanic territory. From their homelands in the deep interior of Asia, the Arispoi had expanded and colonized throughout Oceania, becoming an economic and maritime power.

The country was run by the Assembly of Citizens, with each province in the territory sending ten men to represent them. Each man was to be of a different profession and social class, as to prevent corruption. In recent years the Assembly had been growing restless. They felt as though their current borders was restricting the nation economically, and that they needed to expand.

After debating for several sessions on the subject, the Assembly saw to it that each of the corporations of the nation sent a boat accompanied by a military general to the lands to the far west across the ocean. There they would set up borders to their operations and report back what they found. As to allow competition, each boat had to be of the same size and carry the same amount of men. What they packed on the boat, however, was up to the companies.

Upon landing in the new territories, the companies soon saw they had little to exploit. The terrain was for the most part arid and infertile. Only in the south were there any natural resources, and even those were limited. The companies came together to deliberate and agreed to allow the colonization of the southern regions, along with opening the southern regions to agriculture. The middle of the territory would be open to ranching and herding, as tall grass covered the semi-arid plains. The companies didn't know what to do with the north until, on an expedition led by a mining company through the mountains, they came across a small tribe of natives who possessed diamonds of monstrous size. When asked by a translator where they found them, they told the men that the hills were filled with beautiful gems.

Immediately the companies came together to discuss possible methods of doing business and they came to agree upon officially making the territory a province of Arispont. After deliberating with the Assembly of Citizens, the companies founded the Arispoi Province of Agra and founded the capital city of Aegagros in the desolate northern regions, as to allow easy access to the mineral-rich hills.

Hoping to expand farther in land and along the coast, the province received military support from the Assembly, numbering 100,000 men, armed merchant vessels and a fleet of some 300 destroyers, 100 cruisers, and 50 anti-submarine corvette ships. Though not a militaristic nation, the companies are willing to do anything to expand their operations.

Realizing their military deficiencies, the companies worked with the native peoples to establish guerrilla operations throughout the province. All native men were ready at all times to covertly begin fighting at any time for a small payment of money at the end of each month. With these guerrilla fighters who knew the land, the army of the province swelled to roughly 1,000,000, with 900,000 of those being civilian militia.

Rurisar, Arabia

The Kiravian-built town and fort on the Western bank of the Euphrates served as the temporary capital of Arabia. It was there that Governor Tekir Gatesland recieved the communiqué from the Uir Emirates government on the Gulf. It was a tempting offer, to expand the Kiro-Arabian governate into the possibly oil-yielding triangle of desert between the southern extensions of Iraq and Jordan. At no financial loss. It would bring more wealth to the province, ease the contruction of transport routes to Jordan, and put more unsettled land between the unbilical chord linking both sides of the KE's Arabian dominion.

Djibout, Djibouti

The influence in the area was being sparsed by having sentry sized squads going into sertain areas and keeping watch. The 1,100 wouldn't have any wiring system to their head command in Jiddah for another three days so movements had to be secrective and less threatening. The Eritreans didn;t much mind the Grestonian prescence and another 400 of them were recruited and given modern weapons. The usual, an AK-47 or AK-104, a Glock 17, and 9fragment grenades. A group of Grestonians, 25 people or so, along with 10 Eritreans were ordered to scout out local areas for military advancements.

As usual a the 25 man group with Eritrean Navigators were walking down the long, old, unkept, dirt roads. They stayed out in the open, until they saw a large brigade of Cripistanian Soldiers and small companies of Challenger 2 tanks. The only deployed tanks were in the Saudi Arabia part with Colonel Sonaa Al Mukalla.

"Get down now. Into the underbrush." snapped Captian Mosin Naggat to his men. They quickly comprehended and only Mosin and Corporal Masin Alberi, an Eritrean, were still walking on the road. The rest of the men hid the brush with their AK-47s pointed at the Cripistanians. The slowly crawled or crouched in the brush while the two walked down the dirt road in a normal fashion only as if they were patrolling a captured road.

"Not another sacrifice to imperialism." snuck in Masin as they walked up to the troops.

They kept a good distance and Captain Mosin Naggat still had a firm grip upon his AK-104 with its bayonet fixed at the tip. Mosin called out to them.

"Halt in the name of the Official Grestonian Arabian Guard. We are patrolling this Middle Eastern Territory and we advise you leave as soon as possible for this is conisderably an act of war upon the Imperial Republic and Her Colonies."

Unlike the Captain at Krygzstan they didn't wait for the enemies to fire. The rest of the group who crept up ever so closely then rolled grenades out in front of the Cripistanian troops. Not waiting for the explosion they didn't hesitate in opening fire. They unloaded entire clips in just shooting in the general direction of the Cripistanians.

Mosin shot out half a clip then threw a grenade at the Crips. He then ran and ducked for the bushes knowing his death would come if he didn't.

The companies, wishing to establish "trading partners," sent an envoy of 3,000 soldiers along the coast of the Great Horn. Eventually they came across a city of formidable size. The Cripistani troops were surprised by the fire, and quickly ran to cover behind the Challenger IIs. This was a basic patrol squad. 45 Cripistani soldiers armed with the L-85, Model 18 automatic pistol, 3 Frag Grenades, and 3 HE grenades, along with 4 Challenger IIs. of the 45 men, 6 were quickly picked off by the Grestonian soldiers. The rest were easily protcted by the Challenger IIs, as the Ak-47s and AK-104s were no match for the tanks. As this was desert, the Grestonian troops had little protection. The Cripistani troops peaked out from the side of the tank, and fired their suppresed L-85s. The low recoil allowed them for a straighter shot in short distance range. Meanwhile other soldiers threw their Frags, and Hes towards the underbrush to expose, or possibly kill the enemy. The 4 Challenger IIs aimed their L30A1 120 mm shell at the enemy, plowing up dust and sand with the explosion.

There was no federal buildings. No mining sites, no major armories, no governmental buildings, no respectable defensive buildings, no nothing. Just the crappy buildings made by the natives and the two bit log piles that were quickly erected by Grestonian soldiers who needed a place to sleep for the night. Larger more effecient buildings were where military stand points were made and were the Colonel of the area slept and ruled. Colonel Muhamed Sayhaut was the leader military official in the area and until wire systems and a local government was established he was like an aristocrat leader. The natives didn't care. They were naive. But they weren't naive of the largely numbered amount of soldiers, larger then the reigning power in the area, that had advanced towards the Grestonian held city.

"Sir, unidentified soldiers of some nationality are approaching our western border of Massawa." reported a private to Colonel Sayhaut

"Ah great. Just great. Get a team of snipers, an APC, and a team of men on the 30 mms and then have Captain Addis Abda go speak with them."

"Yessir. Right away sir."

The private ran off and them the orders were commenced. The teams got into position. In perfect sight of the men but hidden to the approaching people. Captain Addis Abda approached them with his hands behind his back and an aid on each side. In his Arabic accent he spoke to them.

"Hello sir. What may you be here for?"

The teams stiffened and got ready for combat.

Massawa, Grestonian Held Southern Eritrea

There was no federal buildings. No mining sites, no major armories, no governmental buildings, no respectable defensive buildings, no nothing. Just the crappy buildings made by the natives and the two bit log piles that were quickly erected by Grestonian soldiers who needed a place to sleep for the night. Larger more effecient buildings were where military stand points were made and were the Colonel of the area slept and ruled. Colonel Muhamed Sayhaut was the leader military official in the area and until wire systems and a local government was established he was like an aristocrat leader. The natives didn't care.

"Shit!"

The men rushed out of the underrbush into more underbrush or onto the road. Six died immediatly but the rest scrammbled. One day. They would be targets of all military units in the area for ond day until the wiring system was up and the could ask for reinforcements. Until then they had to survive. They ran and three more died from the Challengers but the rest were compeltely apart from their group and they ran. They ran like hell. No counter attack just run for safety. And they did. They had a long miles hike till they came back to Massawa but they would get there in less than an hour or so. They just had to run.

A few more fell but they were not groups. All remaining 14 or so had split in all different directions, 14 different directions in all. An hour or so later Captain Mosin Naggat found himself back at the major camp and with seven others from his patrol. The rest were either dead or lost, it was suspected that the Eritreans ran off to get away from the war with Cripistan and Grestonian troops to come. Colonel Adis Abda was worried. 1,100 men against a some odd force in the 10,000s with tanks when they only had guns.

OOC: I'm continuing with meeting the Grestonian colonel in the way that you set it up.

Hearing word of an insurgent nation who'd established a base to the south, the party of 3,000 soldiers moved on, finding no one willing to negotiate in Massawa. Upon trudging south the envoy scouted in the far distance a group of Eritrean soldiers chasing down what appeared to be the insurgent army, or a portion of it.

"Look at them," cried strategos Andronikos Eudoxia at the mass army before him. "Those, soldiers, are men who are too wrapped up in their little battles to see the whole picture. We'll wait until the time is right and follow them from a distance. I want to see how this turns out. In the meantime, I want a battalion of 300 men to go around the mountains and find the headquarters of the new guys."

300 soldiers moved out along the desert. After following tracks and signs of travel, they came across the settlement in the distance.

"Appears to be nothing more than a few huts, sir. I think I might see a few military buildings in the outskirts, but there's really nothing there."

"Interesting," replied the battlion leader Genadius. "See any defenses."

"Yes, sir. I think they knew we were coming, however. There's nobody visible along the hills and they're leader seems to be walking in the open alone."

"Well then, looks like an ambush. Let's see what happens," he turned to face his battalion. "Men, get low to the ground and spread out! We're at a disadvantage defensively, here! I want 4 squads of ten to move up the hills in case of battle and our own snipers to move out, stay low, and try to see if there's anyone in the hills. But remember, most importan-"

"Sir, they're here."

Genadius turned to see an Arabian man walking up to him. He was impeccably dressed in a uniform so perfect it seemed out of place in the desert wastes. He had a man at each side and they seemed to be visibly nervous.

"Hello, sir. What may you be here for?" the man asked in a thick accent.

He had his hands behind his back. Perhaps a formality, but Genadius also thought of the possibility that he may have a gun.

"Alright, you listen here. I don't want a fight. Not right now. I know that you most likely have men out in the hills. I'm not stupid. I've sent my own men out to find them. But I don't want anything bad to happen here. I don't trust you, you don't trust me. Your sidekicks here obviously have a problem with me. It's pretty visible. So I'll just get to the poi-"

Then a gunshot rang through the desert hills.

"What the hell was that?" questioned Genadius.

"Sir, you were never able to tell our men not to shoot."

"Was that gun fire I hear?"

Captian Abda put his hand to his left ear, the direction of the gunfire. Greston was a large nation in the Mediterranica region and was much like the nation of Great Britian. With a military of 200 million enlisted Grestonian men and many more from other colonies they were a force to be dealt with. Not much compared to others but something much larger than a nass majority of new nations that popped up everywhere.

"Sir, I do not like it when I have deaths on my hands. Unless they are the deaths of the enemy's men. Now look here! WE have the vantage point. One dead won't do nothing. You are a bastard and your men's children will soon become so too. Don't you dare lay hands on my men for won't hesitate to send the men of brigade after brigade unto your homeland and make that a colony as well. Do you hear me?"

He rose his hands up slowly above his head and opened them then screamed out again.

"My hands are clean, no guns in them. Here the gun is placed in your mens hands and if all 300 of you are slaughtered and your nation driven out of this area it will be your fault because of your ignorancy. No trade will come between us except the exchange of bullets towards eachother. Do your hear?!"

He and his aides walked off back to the building with Colonel Sayhaut. They asked him to send an appeal for war was needed with the new comers but he told them that the wiring system was down. That was the first appeal.

They only thing they could do was order the teams to open fire. Colonel Sayhaut got onto his short distance radio and told them to do so. Yet another war with the Grestonian Involvement.

The one who had been shot was a stupid private who got off the line. He was alone so the rest of the teams weren't flushed out. They needed the cover for their next mission. They stayed tensed up with their weapons aimed then they let loose. The 30 mm guns tore through everything in its path and its path went pretty far. The snipers, using their semi automatic Yugoslavian Zastava M76s fired rounds quickly, there in a few seconds for some.

Captain Vincent Maass was the lead of his sniper team and he was the best out of the ten. Their was forty mean up in the hills and another 60 shooting from the huts. "You dare to call me a bastard? Your entire barbarian militant nation is backwards and oppressive in its ways! Your formalities do nothing to cloak your ignorance and hate! I did not order my men to shoot and your wishes to act as though I did will start a war!"

Genadius turned to face his assistant.

"Dammit to hell. I don't know what's going to happen. One slight mishap and everything goes against our favour. We're an economic power, not a military one. They were probably just waiting for something to happen in order to declare war. Goddammit, man. Get our men back befo-"

At that moment the sound of machine gun fire rang through the desert hills. Before he knew what was happening, Genadius saw 40 of his men fall to the ground, the rest retreating. Genadius began to run for cover but couldn't find any. That's when it hit him.

A sniper bullet forced its way through his abdomen. He screamed as he fell to the ground. As he looked up, he narrowly saw his assistant escape a similar fate. Genadius grabbed his radio and pressed the button to call the general.

A few miles back, stalking the fighting Eritrean and Grestonian forces, the general answered the call, which was interrupted by static.

"Sir, w- attack. I'v- be- shot. It- was our fa-. Do not[intense static for roughly ten seconds]. They we- waiting fo- us t- screw up. I screwed u- -ad. Tons o- my me- ar- -ead. I'm dying. Ca- hol- o-"

"That's it! I didn't like the looks of those petty Grestonians and now they're in trouble! MEN, TELL THE COMPANIES THAT WE'RE INVADING DJIBOUTI, IT'S TIME TO TEACH THESE BOYS A LESSON!"

The army of Agra was assembled. 15,000 men would descend upon the small nation and take it. Air support would be available. The companies went into talks with Cripistan for a united front. The nation of Arispont was dwarfed by Greston in everything but economy, and it would be the mass amount of wealth that would allow the military to perform to the highest of their ability.

OOC: War won't be initiated until Cripistan agrees or disagrees. And I'm playing mainly for the story, and I'm new to RPing, so I have no doubt I'll be destroyed eventually. I want to play a more economically inclined nation, rather than purely militant. But c'est la vie.

The Fergana Valley, Oreus Territory
50th Pezhetairoi Guards Division

Major General Alexander Stamoulis was viewing the situation unfolding in front of him with some interest. A tactical table was set up in his permanent headquarters: a hardened bunker in Namangan. Several divisions of hostile soldiers were moving in on his position, with apparently no regard for stealth, speed, or strategy. They seemed to be tearing apart the land as they moved, which provided an easy way for the satellites to track the enemy columns.

Stamoulis had ordered his artillery battalions to begin firing ground-based stand-off weapons at the columns, with GPS and terminal guidance. Several hundred missiles had already been fired, and they would loiter over the enemy columns and then either explode in spectacular fashion in groups of vehicles, or drop hundreds of cluster bomblets that was sure to annihilate any infantry. At this point, fifteen were being fired per hour at various targets coming in.

The 50th was a mechanized infantry infantry unit, and the combat engineers attached to the Division had dug trenches, tank positions, and bunkers covering the various passes and roads entering the Fergana Valley, which was sure to be a target.

As the enemy divisions moved closer, the ground-based artillery would start opening up, and as they got closer still, CAS planes and helicopters would start strafing enemy columns. It would be a bloody struggle for supremacy.

The design was useless as they had already agreed upon the flag. It was proceeding just as Rikar had planned. The only Gulf coast the Grestonians had was around the Strait which was not much, only enough to stop non-Uir ships from coming through. Of course all that mattered would be Uir ships. The thing was a done deal and now all that was left was expansion along the coast, inland, towards the Grestonian borders and then, who knew? As far as Uiri was concerned, Unorganized Arabia was Kiravian domain and Uir Arabi would soon meet Kiravian Arabia.

We have made a deal with the Grestonians. They now have an exclave on the Strait of Hormuz and can now basically control the Strait, except for 4 square km of Uir coastline to ensure that our ships are allowed to pass. In exchange, Greston no longer has any other gulf coast or anything near the Gulf further from the Arabi Sea than Katar. It still owns its quite far in land along the Red Sea but that is ok. I do believe it is all clear for you to expand along the coast and inland. We shall expand inland too, although not very much.

----------

Troops were soon sent towards now Uir territory and along the newly formed Greston-Uir border. The area was immediately created into another Emirate. Apparently, Uiri had chosen a border which exactly coincided with a local Emir's Emirate. The Emir was signed on and that brought the total of the Emirate's Council to 10 members. The next wave of Uir settlers came in and found for them a new life.

We are overjoyed to hear of this Uir diplomatic triumph, and the Kiravian expansion into the abovementioned territories shall commence shortly.

--
And that it did. Within 30 hours, desert combat squadrons, support units, Engineerign Corps personnel, and hundreds of Arab contract labourers rode into the arid lands of the Arbian Triangle, and what was soon to become the Kiravian Gulf Coast Protectorate. The occupation forces began to construct small outposts from which to oversee the security of their territory. Most were located over or in small oasis villages, to supply water to the troops. The oil-rich KGCSP was scheduled to recieve 1,200 Kiravian settlers within the month.

Though few colonists had, as of yet, any interest in the newly annexed Triangular District, Kiravian settlements were springing up all across mesopotamia. Baghdad, now Saar-Arabia, had a Kiravian community of 4,000. The other 839,256 Kiravians currently holding Arabian citizenship were living in either redeveloped native cities, or original towns and villages fo 200 to 30,000 people.

Some native peoples integrated well with the Kiravian settlers. The Christian Assyrians and their relatives, for example, enjoyed good relations with the Northern communities of Church of Kirav and Roman Catholic missionaries. Many Muslim Arabs also did not mind coexisting with Kiravians. Much of Kiravic intellectual culture resembled that of the Caliphate. In fact, many Coscivian-speakers used a syllabic writing system comparable to Arabic.

The lanch ships moved closer, just outside of Mandabain. Being that the range of the Tomahawks were 800km, they would have not trouble reaching the troops guarding the path to Djibouti.

Getting word of Cripistan's plan to siege the city, the companies sent an initial force of 5,000 men across the northern border of Somalia. Finding the borders unprotected, when reaching the hills overlooking Djibouti they found the city relatively fortified. 250 snipers armed with McMillan TAC-50 rifles took aim upon the fortifications. Meanwhile two squads of 500 soldiers armed with M4 assault rifles set up to the east and west of the fortifications, waiting for the snipers to take their shots before heading in. The rest of the battalion laid back to head in after the initial wave. Upon hearing the word to fire, the snipers fired upon the fortifications, aiming for the Grestonian military personnel within. Front line members of the two squads hurled M67 grenades into the city and then moved in, firing as they went. Overhead they were able to see the Tomahawk missiles of the Cripistanis flying through the air.

African Campaigners - My African colony contains Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and Rwanda. I am ICly assuming I still have this colony and that Kirav still has his colony, which is south of mine. I also have most of Gambia (Stok owns a tiny bit on the coast) and Senegal on the other side of Africa. I feel as if this thread is going to be expanding into Africa.

Arispont - Uir troops are stationed at the Kenya-Somalia border on the Kenyan side.

Kirav - I was hoping to be able to expand south into unclaimed territory. I need a little bit of leeway so could you not move right up to my colony?

IC:

The Kiravian expansion was going well but they needed to be sure that Greston would be too busy with the African Campaign to notice. There were already troops in Uir Afirik so the Campaign shouldn't be able to push into Uir territory although a large section which the Uir could have sworn was owned by Jaredcohenia a couple months ago was left practically untouched. So was a coastless area nick-named Eti Opi for its native name.

Oil was already being extracted and exported through the Gulf of Oman to the refineries in Uir Afirik. This was probably the best located oil in the world, relative to the location of Uir refineries. Soon Uir oil prices would drop and hopefully with the Kiravian expansion, oil prices through out the KC would be lowered. This was all good as long as the Grestonians were too busy in Africa which Uiri had found long ago. It was probably some other nation but they had most likely left or something of that sort.

Ships began to set sail from the harbor city of Asab.
" Admiral take your ships south. When you are close enough, but not too close, fire off the Tomahawks(BGM-109 packed with 450kg of explosives). The guards are spaced close together so 4 of them will do."
"Yessir, we'll get at it."
The lanch ships moved closer, just outside of Mandabain. Being that the range of the Tomahawks were 800km, they would have not trouble reaching the troops guarding the path to Djibouti.
" Fire!" yelled the Admiral.
Exolsions erupted in a matter of seconds, the Admiral looked in amazement in the distance as the smoke rose. Not knowing if he hit his target, or something else.

A good portion hit the huts leaving small dents in it and spitting up parts of the material. The Grestonians stayed under cover until they M16 guys came running by at which point they poured fragment grenades at them. Entire clips were wasted shooting at them.

The city was in the center of mountians and a coast. the hills practically opened up a small gap at the entrance of the city so people would have to squeze through to get a large numer in at once. The hills were held by Grestonians givving them that advantage

Arispont - Uir troops are stationed at the Kenya-Somalia border on the Kenyan side.

OOC: I have no plans to cross the cross the southern borders so I see no reason for conflict.

IC: As the two squads of Arispont troops stormed in, they found that they had ignored Grestonian troops from behind. As the Grestonians came out from their cover, snipers shot several as the Grestonians threw grenades at the squads. Though the majority successfully ran into buildings, roughly 10 Arispoi soldiers were injured and 13 outright killed. A firefight ensued in the buildings of Djibouti. Another squad of 100 was sent in from behind, rushing in behind the now revealed Grestonian forces and firing at them.

All the while, Arispoi generals sent a team of stealth fighters through northern Ethiopia into the southern Djibouti hills, moving towards the coastal city using silenced M4s. Upon reaching the defensive position looking down upon the city, the stealth fighters ambushed them, setting up a surprise attack and throwing flash grenades from cover before carefully moving in to attack.

OOC: I have no plans to cross the cross the southern borders so I see no reason for conflict.

OOC: I never said there would be conflict. Troops are stationed along most of the border as it is a protectorate and not a colony. It has similiar status to Uir Arabi only less settlers.

IC:

Now that the new emirate of Uir Arabi was secure the expansion began. Soon Kirav and Uiri would control all of the peninsula with the exception of the Grestonian colony. The land was not the most fertile nor did it have the most oil but it was certainly habitable and could be counted in the area of Uiri. Not only that but it most likely did have some oil and how much didn't matter as much to the Uir.

The soldiers were told to secure it in three steps. At the end, they should meet up with the Kiravians and the border should divide the unclaimed area in roughly half. The Grestonians would have no where to expand to and they were bound to allow Uir - and Kiravian ships registered with Uiri - through. This had been the plan all along and the Strait and Gulf situation would not and could not change.

The Uir trade was fishy and something had to be done about it. War wasn't needed but Greston needed to be careful. Since the Krygzstan expansion hadn't worked and no reports had come in from Djibouti they needed to expand. Greston wanted to remain the largest force in the area, the police force, but with the Uir trade being so random and weird something needed to be done to possibly outwit the Uirs.

250,000 more Grestonians came in from the homeland and 50,000 of them were deployed into the centre of Saudi Arabia to expand the area. The troops in Yemen fortified their Northenr border incase of war. They also received a new shipment of around 500 Jaguar MBT tanks and 200 were deployed to help the other Saudi Arabians. The Western coast had to remain in Grestonian control so some new messages had been sent out.

Official Grestonian Response

The Strait of Hormuz, now that it is under Grestonian control, is officially closed to all Kirivian, Uir and Maldorian Trade ships and military ships until further notice. This is after the Uir Influence traded us the Strait for some Western Coastal Land. Any attack upon the blockade will be considered an act of war and we shall retaliate upon not only your colony but your homeland and any other colonies of yours.

Thank you.

We apologize to the Grestonians but they are not allowed to close the Strait to the Uir. They have agreed to keep it open to all ships bearing the deignated flag and the Uir flag. Violating this shall give us a Casus Belli and while we would rather not go to war you shall leave us no choice should you violate our agreement.

----------

An Uir border was drawn from just before the dip into Grestonian territory to the extent of Uir gulf coast. They pressed right up against the Grestonian portion of the Empty Quarter and the north border of the Grestonian territory. They were expanding and the Grestonians must be contained. Oil in the desert seemed to be more than the Uir had thought at first and was probably going to be a great Uir resource.

Official Grestonian Response

We have the right to close down our portion of the strait and the areas that are under Grestonian rule. Uir ships are allowed to travel through their section of the strait but Kiravian ships are not and the flag design shall not be given to them by Greston nor by Uiri.

Men were coming in by the boat loads to the Western Section of the Grestonian claim. The police force position was vital for Greston to have respect and power in the region. When Uir Arabi claimed that portion of the centre of Saudi Arabia their true plan was revealed they just wanted more land. Another force, but mainly of tanks for a faster speed, was deployed only from the Western camp and they traveled inland until they set up a camp in the centre. 300 tanks had been deployed and 200 split from the main group and spread out making a semi-circle from the Western Portion. THe operation in the area was official named Operation Dessert Storm, a much better title then what they named their storm of Middle Eastern lands a long time ago.

Another group of men, 400 men, left the northern most camp until they went 20 Kilometers deep against the Kiravian border. They established an inland form of a beach head and prepared for more deployment tomorrow. While they did so the triangle of uninhabited land bordering Grestonian and Uir land was cut off and taken as well so everything, besides a small area of land was owned by Greston around Yemen. The area was better know as the Rub Al Khaku Desert which was the inland boundries of Yemen and parts of Oman. After the days work, working into the night and not stopping until around 12:00 they only had around 150 kilometers before they reached the Eastern Coast. They had to do so before Uiri and Kirav did so they could keep their power over the area.

And no ship did. They landed in a port on the south coast to deploy troops and tanks who quickly moved to capture more land. They left about 5 km leeway for the Grestonians to expand outwards in order not to intrude on any borders. They went through out the continent, but no north of a straight line from the northern tip of the Uir Gulf Coast to the perpindicular Grestonian border. An important city for them to capture was Harad and they moved in quickly. They weren't sure where exactly the Grestonians were....

As the shots came from the Grestonian troops, the Cripistani Force began ducking behind the tanks. A few men fell, but the rest were well protected. They began to throw grenades, and the Challengers shot their L30A1 120 mm shells at the positions of the Grestonians, blasting up dirt where it hit, and causing a large bang. Meanwhile, other soldiers shot their L-85s, and advanced.
" I have a plan!"yelled Colonel Simon.

Amazonian Beasts

The dramatic conflict that had been plaguing the Western Middle East amused the Amazonians. Controlling North Afghanistan and West Pakistan provided plenty of benefits, if not in oil - the Amazonian colony contained bunches of people, several major cities (particularly in the formerly-named urban centers of Islamabad and Karachi), and plenty of open space for military operations...which of course were coming.

The buildup by nearby powers had tempted Amazonia command to bulk up numbers in the Middle Eastern colonies. Several more transport convoys had come in to resupply and drop off entire new armies, while air convoys were frequenting the air strips and airports of the country. The lack of damage in the subjugated territory was unique and a blessing - dominating force had proved far too much for the few upstart groups from the beginning that had tried to act out. Now, no one spoke up.

The Amazonians has stayed quiet for a long time as other nations made mad land grabs for territory, the Dominion peaking and pecking at what were the best locations for taking. Two locales were picked up...one far to the south, which would be hit later. Currently, however, Amazonia was more interested in Eastern expansion, not into Africa...but into India. It would take time - the Indian territory was considerably larger with a larger base of population.

The same tactics of colonization and conquest would have to be used, utilizing massive force to simply roll through the Indian subcontinent. None of the other competing Middle East colonizers had even thought about expanding East or North, simply content with squabbling over Africa (with occassional bouts in Kyrgistan early). It was short-sighted, in many regards...but the Amazonians had more foresight to lock up valuable lands now.

Preparation would take some time, but patience was a virtue. Forces began massing by the Pakistani-Indian border, leaving no doubt to intentions - opponents be damned or blasted into hell. Even as this was done, however, an invasion fleet left the Pakistani coast towards the South - not towards India or Arabia, but seemingly towards the ocean. Where it was headed was unknown outside of Amazonia, but they had a plan and a target as well...to stymie the African land-grabbers and hold them at bay.

And I read my scale wrong Ridyah is about 100 kilometers or so away from where you were. Other than that the map is fine. I plan on keeping that land that you overlap though...

IC:

Seeing that the Uirs had overlapped their land onto Grestonian land yet another message was set out. As well as 600 more men who left from the Northern most point going directly east. Their goal was to get to the other coast in two days. A cimpany of tanks left from a position right above the Uir land and traveled along the Uir border. Their goals was also to get to the coast. Since there was only 100 of them and they were tanks they were aiming to get there in 6 hours. A small company of men stayed behind to mark land for Greston and after an hour or so they had 57 miles already. A small group of the tanks, 10 or so, cut off and made a trianlge out of their course and to the course the men from the north were taking. Uiri was never an exact ally of Greston but was never an enemy either. Their motives for their crazed movements didn't add up.

The stealth troops who had fired upon the snipers soon found themselves being fired upon from above. Of the 25 sent in, 13 were killed as they were being fired upon. Due to only being fired upon briefly by the snipers, the stealth forces made their ways up the hills. When they saw man made fortifications along the hills, they informed the generals. upon realizing that the man made fortifications along the hills were where the last remaining Grestonian troops were, the remaining 2000 troops were sent into the hills. Air support was requested and helicopters flew troops into the hills to avoid large amounts of sniper fire, though they were still vulnerable. Troops were dropped from helicopters via rope and machine gunners began to fire from the helicopters at visible Grestonian troops. Arispoi troops began their invasion of the hilltop fortifications while fighting and searching for remaining enemy troops continued in the city.

As well, a fleet of 50 destroyers and 25 cruisers were sent to establish a makeshift blockade at the port of Djibouti to attempt to prevent additional forces from arriving. A wall of 10,000 militia was established along the coasts of Djibouti and Northern Somalia to attempt to stave off additional Grestonian forces from entering.

At the same time, the companies of Agra decided to send troops into Ethiopia to expand. Establishing a settlement just south of Djibouti, they planned to continuing colonization into the interior.

Together, a force of 2,650( 2,000 soldiers, 650 MBT Challenger II) creeped into Djibouti. Meanwhile, the ETA on the additional 20,000 men and 2,000 Challengers was only 1 day from Somalia, where they would land and continue north by land into Djibouti.

We would like to go into talks with you as to how to divide Sudan in a fair manner without causing conflict. Until this has happened we feel threatened by your presence in Northern Somalia and as your troops have landed, and ask you to move them into Djibouti to fight or into Eritrean lands. If we find that we have been manipulated after expending our military to aid your invasion of Djibouti, we will be most unhappy.

OOC: It's being ignored, Kirav. This is totally different - hence, why I'm pushing into India right now unopposed by other NS nations. Go ahead and go for Cameroon and Namibia.

I'm going to guess this is going to devolve into a World claiming thread...which I'm totally cool with. Just, please don't claim the Australia/New Zealand/New Guinea lands, or you'll be repulsed by over 4 billion angry Amazonians. That's my homeland, and has been for about one RL year on these boards over multiple threads.

I can start to run a global map rather than simply a Middle Eastern map if y'all want, which'll allow us to expand around Europe, Asia, Africa, and eventually Oceana, Antarctica, and the Americas.

IC:

With the rash of African claims flying about, the amped-up invasion fleet that had been sent south continued its pace, moving past Madagascar - the island was not of use to the Amazonians. Rather, they wanted something a bit further away to satisfy colonial design. As the lands of the South Pacific comprised the Amazonian homeland, expanding into each of the three main islands was a big priority for the Dominion. Specific to this was finding an Atlantic port that also extended into the Mediterranean.

The key to this was simple - as Amazonia was one of the largest claiming powers in what had originated as a Middle Eastern struggle, the point was to go around all the powers expanding over land. Land warfare was easily the Dominion's worst attribute of the four types of warfare (orbital, land, air, and naval), and that was by no means a criticism of ground combat - rather, a testiment to the excellent quality of the naval and air & space arms of the Dominion military. In this campaign, rather than stick and try to expand in every direction via land and settle in continental Africa, the key was to use naval forces to make a foothold, and then to unleash the dogs of war.

The objective was not anywhere of South Africa, or anywhere in the Congo Basin, or along the Nigerian coast. Rather, it was all the way around...to Morocco and Algeria. No one had even set foot in North Africa apart from the Arabian Africa settlements around Egypt and Sudan. The Canary Islands would also hence be a great point to start off a large-scale invasion. All of this was helped by the greatly inflated number of Wardens - the police soldiers of the Dominion - that had left the peaceful Amazonian home islands and suppressed any sort of rebellions in Afghanistan and Pakistan. With those places in control by the police-military forces, the actual military could expand outwards to India and out here in Northeast Africa.

With that being said, many of the other nations around were vocally claiming their lands and warding off attackers. As the Dominion had been fairly peaceful towards the others - and also had easy access to unparrelleled forces across the Indian Ocean - it was figured that such a message of claim could carry weight as well with it. That, and any force that dared oppose such a proclamation would be neutralized by extreme force and prejudice, as was the Dominion way with interlopers in the grand plans of destiny.

Official International Communication of the Amazonian Dominion Colonial Arm

As a notice and warning to other colonial powers, the Amazonian Dominion hereby sets its sights and ultimately its military expression on the formerly sovereign lands of the Canary Islands, Morocco, and Algeria. Any attempt to impede the progress of a reinforce invasion force en route to round the horn of Africa towards an invasion will be met with excessive and fatal force. Additionally, any impedement provided to such invasion fleet by the current hostilies mounted by the Maldorian-Grestonian and Kiravian-Uirian blocs will be met with hostilies by the Dominion military, and the extraction of reperations through the use of force.

Additionally, until further notice all portions of India fall under the defensive sphere of the Amazonian Dominion's Colonial Affairs Arm.

-Dominion Colonial Affairs

* * * * *

The Indian theater had been met with more hostilities than the Arabs of Afghanistan and Pakistan had provided, but was little use against the well-oiled machine that was the Dominion military. No other of the colonial powers had attempted Eastern expansion, withholding the already-claimed Chinese and Russian lands. With that being said, massive quantites of war material and human power had been expended upon entrance into Indian lands - and Indian lands only to the East. The Dominion was being quite careful about where it did and did not lay foot - India only towards the East for now.

As it was, the Indian army was not up to par with the steaming Shock Troopers and Scorpian main battle tanks that paved the way across the Indian front. Progress met hurdles, but each was jumped with lethal force, while Wardens moved in towards already-conquered parts of India and expanded to lay down suppressive occupation. More and more troops and material was needed by the day, and constant supply convoys via air and water came across the Indian Ocean from the Dominion homeland.

It was proceeding exactly as planned.

The Afghanistan-Pakistan border with Maldorians was getting overloaded with military forces that had moved out, staying loose but solid to await what was guarenteed to be eventual Maldorian reaction if they didn't want to deal for the territory that both nations had claimed. The naval invasion fleet had stormed around and it was doutbful that the Maldorians had been able to land too many troops - as it was, the Dominion was willing to let go of Algeria, but Morocco was out of the question. The Maldorians would have to come up with a good offer to come away with that land without being on the recieving end of enough missiles to make Satan cry.

As they had been simultaneous declerations, anyway, the Dominion was more than prepared with the inbound massive invasion fleet to blast aside any of the upstart Maldorians that wanted to cause trouble. The fleet was loaded with both elements to launch a ground invasion along with a formidable naval fleet capable of flattening resistance. The Amazonians meant business here - they hadn't contested other forces so far, but were willing now to fight - even more so that the Maldorians would likely be bogging down with the Uiri-Kirav faction's resistance to the Grestonian-Maldorian faction. Let them fight on three fronts - the Dominion only needed to defeat them in two.

Assistance to the Uirians and Kiravians had not been ruled out to upend the Maldorians, but the Amazonians harbored no ill will to the Grestonians, on the other hand. While the Maldorians were well-known for lack of good judgment, the Grestonians were fairly well-respected in Amazonia, and hence, the Dominion wasn't exactly looking to pick a fight with them. They would if they had to, sure, but it would be more advantageous to side up with the Grestonians. However, the Dominion also wasn't liking to fight with the Kirav-Uiri coalition, either.

All in all, it meant one thing - the Dominion's colonial arm was more than willing to pump excessive amounts of weaponry and human numbers into knocking out the Maldorians from what was deservedly Amazonian land. And once Morocco was secured, the campaign into Spain could begin, which would proceed crossing the Atlantic.

As forces continued to steam across India's Western front, the invasion fleet that had rounded Africa earlier reached the Canary Islands. This was going to be a pushover - they were virtually nothing and their populations were scant at best. They were ignored, for now - the Amazonians had claimed them uncontested by meddling insignificants like Maldorians, and if someone did attempt to forcefully take them over, the Amazonians had more than enough naval power to flatten opposition.

Rather, the fleet instead immediately steamed for the Morrocan Western coast, right towards Casablanca. The Dominion wasn't exactly sure how Maldorians was going to move troops all the way from their claimed lands to Morocco - truly a mystery, seeing as no movements had been made yet by the nation, besides their proclamation to begin sending forces - but in case they did show up a week later or however long it took, the Dominion wanted to be well-ready to blow the shit out of whatever came.

The invasion fleet took a parked spot right around the Casablanca coast, while the actual ground invasion ships prepared to make first landing and to eliminate whatever indiginous opposition stood up.

Meanwhile, back at the Afghan-Pakistan colony, everything was being geared up to completely blast apart the Maldorian lands to the Southwest. Nothing would be spared - every city being targeted from the established weapons of the land and the platforms of the colonization naval forces. Cruise missiles by the hundreds were slotted into place, while the military forces of the Afghan-Pakistan colony were prepared to rush in with speed and accuracy to wipe out Maldorian forces attempting to invade the Amazonian plots. Just in case the Maldorians were somehow able to push in, Warden numbers were high - and each of the police soldiers was on par, if not better, than the average soldier.

As it was, the naval contingent was preparing for an all-out blitz against the Maldorian colonies in Pakistan and Aghanistan. Hundreds of jets were readied to quickly hit their lands with massive amounts of indiscriminate ordinance, while ships prepared to intercept and attack whatever came in range of the Maldorians.

So far, nothing was declared...but with the readiness level out the roof, and the Dominion willing to let Algeria go away as long as they had Morocco, it was certainly in the best interests of the Maldorians to sit down for dealings rather than tempt the hellish demons of fate.

It was two days after the fighting and the wiring systems were up. The small part of Djibouti was now a port of Greston and the rest of Djibouti was Cripistanian and Somalia and Ethiopia was Arispoi. Ships had come to and fro from the small port town and it was more well established much like the rest of the port cities in the colonies. Word of movement into the rest of Africa had come and Arispoi troops and many others had already started racing for it.

Greston was always a seafaring nation so they set their eyes on the large island to the south, Madagascar. Mozam Bique would be worth while as it also bordered the ocean and its close proximity to the Madagascar island. Swaziland which bordered Mozam Bique to the south wasn't claimed yet so that hopefully soon to be Grestonian as well. A message was made out as the fleet touched ground in Madagascar to secure their other claims.

Official Comminque From the Office of Saumen Arabia Colony

Seeing as the colonization is reaching out to new lands, lands like that of Africa we wish to tag along. So as to that affect, Madagascar, Mozam Bique, Swaziland, Lesotno, Angola, and The Dem. Rep. Congo are officially claimed by the Imperial Republic of Greston.

Realizing that Africa was going fast, the Uir knew something had to be done. They had the chance for expansion although a better link needed to be established between the two Uir colonies on either side of the Continent. The solution was simple, colonize more. Considering there were effectively the Grestonians, the Kiravians, the Amazonians, the Uir, the Cripir*, the Arispontites, the Stoklomolvi and the Lost Hillians; they would need to act fast.

With the Kiravians establishing a colony in the Gulf of Guinea the Uir thought it would be wise to establish a colony near there too. They chose the area commonly known as Nigeria and another area commonly known as the Ivory Coast to set up colonies and the last area which was chosen was commonly known as Gabon. This way Uir citizens could travel from Daresalam, stop at various ports in the main Kiravian colony, stop in Gabon, stop in Cameroon, stop in Nijeri, stop in Ivori-Coset and finally land in Senegal.

Not only this but Nijeri contained yet more oil, Ivori-Coset had beautiful elephants and Gabon was a good stop-over and far enough so that the only african borders Uiri would share with Greston would be to the West and the Eastern half of the South border - borders Greston picked. The Atlantic Ocean could hold untold surprises for Uiri which colonised mostly in the Indian and Pacific Oceans.

*Cripir would be the Uir form. Uiri is effectively Uistan so any nation name ending with -stan would be translated to ending with -ri in Uiri instead, making the demonym from that.

The Assembly of Citizens of Arispont has published an incomplete world map roughly detailing current territorial claims.

http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7905/world1zl2.png

The Assembly knows that it has left out key details as to homelands outside of the Middle East and Africa, and detailed the Arispont homelands in Mongolia and the provinces in Indonesia, which contains the majority of the Arispoi population.

Arispont also wishes to let their neighbours know of more Airspoi expansion, which is occurring at an unprecedented pace. In order to secure coastal lands along the Atlantic, Arispont has sent troops by ship around the cape of Africa to secure southern Western Sahara, southern Mauritania, and southern Mali. As well, Arispoi troops have pushed through the jungles of Africa to secure the Central African Republic and Cameroon.

Please allow the Assembly of Citizens of Arispont to know of any land claims they have missed so we may change the map accordingly. We look forward to future relations.

And Cripistan, we have reduced our presence in Sudan and given you clear access to the interior of Africa. We had been told of movement in Africa by locals and it appears they have been attempting to start war. They have been dealt with accordingly and we thank you for being an ally. We have drawn the line through Sudan at the point of Ethiopia and Eritrea for now.

OOC: Wow, claims goin' fast. I need to get on the ball and get creative in further expansion.

I'm assuming the messages from both coalitions are off since y'all signed a ceasefire...

IC:

As Casablanca found itself meeting the hordes of soldiers and armor dispatching from the landing complement of the invasion armada now sitting outside the West coast of Morocco, the fleet was perfectly positioned to grab the other remaining target the Dominion had its eyes set on in the region - Spain and Portugal. They were truly the only other prizes in a locale that wasn't particularly attractive to the Amazonians - besides the fact that they needed a Mediterranean chokepoint like such as it was open. It was far too good to pass up, whatever they had to do to ward of the Maldorians.

Meanwhile, what really was appealing to the Amazonians - the Pacific - was hardly even penetrated, besides the native lands of Uiri and the nearby-but-nonthreatening Arispont. With heavy concentrations of military force in the Pacific homelands of the Dominion, and with expansions already going on in India, expansion was deemed neccessary to pursue even further with additional reinforcements from home-stationed flotillas and armies. Africa and soon to be Europe (likely) were the current points of focus due to their nearby presence...but the Amazonians were looking further.

Much further, in fact - all the way to the lands of that that shared the namesake of the South Pacific nation in South America. The other area of note - East Asia - would come in time, especially as the Amazonians had their eyes set on Japan and Taiwan, two other islands that would supplement the "island mentality" of the Dominion's Pacific holdings. But those two would come in time, and woe behold any who tried to claim those before the Dominion moved in and sweeped up both island nations.

Rather, this time the pickings were a little larger - as the Dominion wanted to solidify its hold as the dominant power of the Southern Hemisphere in the rapidly-closing world. This time it was Argentina and Chile...but more would follow in the Southern continent. The Dominion wanted to scoop up South America's major holdings - the north and the west of the continent could go to whoever wanted it most, but the east and south were clearly in the sights of the Dominion Colonial Administration.

As per with the Morocco, Algeria, and Canary Islands dispatch, the premature claim of the four nations pending was sent out on all international frequencies to announce the Dominion's intent - and destiny - of claiming what it wanted (which was modest compared to the sprees of some of the other claiming powers).

Dominion International Communications

The Amazonian Colonial Administration

As per this dispatch, the Amazonian Dominion hereby claims the formerly sovereign nations of Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and Chile. Also concurrent with this message, the Dominion's interests in Europe are complete pending the acquisition of Spain and Portugal, and such interests will not contest the claim of other European nations by other colonial powers. North America is also an uncontested region by the ACA.

-Dominion Foreign Affairs - Amazonian Colonial Administration

As soon as the message went out, a full three invasion armadas went out from the home islands out across the Pacific - out towards destiny in South America. The invasion flotilla already parked around Morocco's Atlantic coast would be tasked with subduing Spain and Portugal - additional forces could be dispatched if need be - but driving through South America would be a bit more challenging task due to its larger size and larger overall population.

OOC: You did the provinces totally wrong. I live in Canada, I'd know if anyone who is participating in this RP. I'll make a separate map for the States, Canada and Mexico and I think it would be best if I take over the map making process.

IC:

Uiri officially claims Guinea, Guinea-Bassau, Sierra-Leone, Liberia, Sao Tome & Principe, the southern half of Mali and Burkina Faso. We also lay claim to St. Lucia, Grenada, Trinidad and Tonago, Barbados and Dominica. Our homeland is a fictional island between the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall islands. We also ask Greston to vacate Equatorial Guinea in exchange for Burun Di.

OOC: Right now I'm kind of worried how colonization is going to work in huge countries on the map not split into provinces of states, like Brazil, The United States, Russia, and China. Shall I split them into different areas in order to promote fair play or just leave to nations to sort it out?

Just read your latest post, Uiri. I'm Canadian as well, and I just drew in the provinces roughly, and didn't even care about the territories. I didn't expect expansion for awhile. If you wish to take over the process, feel free. I just wished to create a map to show world affairs. The last thing I want is some large nation to deny people the right to claim lands and take the lands for themselves.

IC: The Assembly of Citizens has once again updated the world map.

As well, the Assembly of Citizens wishes to let it be known that it has moved through the Western Sahara to connect their African province of Agra from coast to coast. If any other nations claim conflict to these claims, let it be known.

The Arispoi Republic has also laid claim to the country of Greece in South-eastern Europe as it shares much cultural heritage and ideals with the Arispoi Republic, which was started by Greek merchants and colonists who settled in modern-day Mongolia. The Companies of Agra are currently in the process of sending troops from the coast of Western Sahara to the Strait of Gibraltar and into the Mediterranean to secure the claim.

OOC: Whoa! Hold up. Could you please stop expanding your territory with every map edit? It doesn't give a chance to any one else plus you don't even say you are claiming it before the dit. Also, I claimed that bit of Niger you have. I just want enough to connect Nigeria and Burkina Faso.

I have a world map and I will transfer all the data in you map - minus some of your claims, particularly because Stoklomolvi owns Russia and China and presumably you wouldn't last very long as an enclave of a much larger nation. I'll give you Indonesia for your homeland. And you will not get any of Chad or farther, you need to tell others you are claiming it before you make the edit.

Another note, all the countries you named are subdivided. China into provinces, Russia into many different things at the first-level, the US and Brazil into states. I will find separate maps with the bordering territories around it or something. You also forgot my claims to several islands. I have a map which will facilitate their colouring.

OOC: Sorry, I'm just trying to keep up with the large territorial claims going on. I've said I'll change the borders happily, it's just I don't want to claim entire countries, just a few strips going through them.

And it's ridiculous to take away my claims of Chad. I've clearly had them displayed on the map for past several updates and nobody had problems with it. I'll revoke everything else, however and reclaim it. I still wish to have Western Sahara, though, as I stated I was sending troops there earlier and wish to have an Atlantic port.

And I know they're separated into provinces and states, I meant that they weren't on the world map I was using and didn't want people to think that they could just take the whole countries.

As well, a ton of nations have been making claims without facilitating for the arrival of troops. Seems relatively instantaneous to me. I will continue to make claims in Africa through the interior.

I have been making my way through Africa slowly and I have put everyone else's claims on as well. Please do not just pinpoint my actions. With your mass amount of land in Western Africa, I wished to not isolate my only Atlantic port.

OOC: Wow, claims goin' fast. I need to get on the ball and get creative in further expansion.

I'm assuming the messages from both coalitions are off since y'all signed a ceasefire...

OOC: Mine isn't although Greston's probably is. I definetly need more allies in this area and I think we could get along well.

I see. Yeah, enitre countries is cleaner, really. As for other nations making claims with instantaneous troops arrival, you must say that you are claiming that. I notice that you were, but you need to be specific. As for Chad, I was offline since around 15 minutes before you added Chad, and I was only online for a few minutes this morning and I've been online now. As for Western Sahara, yeah I'll give it to you. Not isolating your only atlantic port? Perhaps we could reach an agreement.

Western Sahara - Yes
Chad - No

OOC: Yeah, I apologize. I was confusing Chad with Central African Republic. I will be moving into Africa at a slower pace and I apologize for the speed at which I moved. Claims were being made so quickly that I didn't realize that I was moving at a rapid rate as well.

And what kind of an agreement do you have in mind?

OOC: Ah. Yeah, I also thought that you had the whole country.

As for the agreement, I was thinking either:

You gain Mauritania and the half of Chad you had before and you can use Uir Os Afirik to get to your ports

or

We both use Chad, Niger, Mali and Mauritania and they become a condominium. Meaning we both govern them. Uir-Arispoi Africa.

What do you think?

OOC: The second option sounds great. It would provide a good united front that would increase the strength of both of our African colonies. I'm fine with either, as they're both incredibly generous offers that I'd be happy with.

OOC: Then let's begin IC negotiations. Also, I edited the map link into the above post.

IC:

TO: The Assembly of Citizens of the Arispoi Republic
FROM: International Relations Office of Uir Os Afirik, Uir Es Afirik & Uir Ekatoral Afirik
SUBJECT: Maritani, Mali, Nijer & T-Kad

We are aware that your country is expanding in order to link your Indian and Atlantic Ocean ports. You are already at the borders of Kirav's new african colonial exclave. We do not want to be cut off from expanding further north into Afirik in the future and invite you to send a representative or perhaps your head of government, and/or head of state in order to negotiate the situation of those areas. You may also suggest a meeting place, or if you have no better, how about in the port city of Dakar in recently re-named Senegal. As you must know, Uiri already owns parts of Nijer and Mali. Were we to reach a condominium agreement, these portions would be part of it.

OOC: Guys, I think I'm done with this RP. This is based on god-damn Middle East, guys. Let's take a minute and read the fricking title. Why the hell are we going into fricking Canada, Indonesia, etc! It is the Middle East! Good-bye and have fun. I still claim my areas *except for the areas which were contested with AB*, but don't expect many posts from me...

Kiraviax Suð-Wëſtis Africa, Austroafrica

Through the land border with the rest of Austro-Africa, Kiravian settlers, mostly skilled Gërev workers and administrators, but with some Afrikev and Lusev minorities, spilled into the Suð-Wëſtis Africa Department. Governor-General Tealford had given vast land and housing grants to Gërev settlers, hoping to further his dream of a Kiravian colonial empire in Africa.

Meanwhile, the Kiravian cruiser Valway dropped a landing team of 100 KE soldiers in Kamerun. Soon, colonial transports would arrive with 5,000 settlers. Kamerun was, for now, to be governed as an Intendancy, or exploit colony, with dependence on Austro-Africa for administration.

OOC: Agreed. What was the title again? This is getting way out of hand and if I remember correctly the original map didn't have half of the stuff on the new stuff. No more Canada and American crap. That shall be ignored in this thread. Getting into Indonesia is also out of the question. No doubt do you have them but can we please keep the middle eastern crap here. Since there seems to be an interest in everything else I say I will make a second thread for all this other stuff using this map:

OOC: Then if we're doing that, stop expanding so far into Africa of what's not located exactly on the map provided. That's been my incentive to staying one step ahead of what's becoming a second Earth (no probs with Earths here, however).
If you want to retcon it, retcon your behalfs too and start all over again at the very beginning.

OOC: uhhh...what about this map (http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k155/Uiri/Uiri/EmpireEarthMap.png/)? Wouldn't it be better suited with the circles for microstates and the more easily distinguished colours? Admittedly I've left some people out but I only had Arispoint's map as reference.

EDIT: AB, I say we leave what's been claimed and whatnot and just start a new thread. Perhaps 'Empire Earth' because of the huge colonial empires.

I do believe that this thread is just for Arabia. Seeing as everyone has their stake and now expansion has gone elsewhere, I think it is dead. Link to the new thread in the edit.
