OOC: Because the thread where I was fighting for independence seems to have died, I'll assume Greston and AB lost patience trying to keep control over me. Please say so if I'm wrong.

This is A Public News Broadcast, Worldwide.
The middle-aged anchor looked into the camera and began to read off the script, slowly, deliberately, and seriously.
Former UDLA General Franz von Waldstein has brought an end to the three month expirament in democracy undertaken by Drepner following it's long, harsh war of independence. The country is still recovering from the devestation wrought by brutal occupying policies, and, in an effort to restore the economy, General von Waldstein has declared a state of emergency, declared martial law, and siezed power.
His first acts on becoming dictator were to:
1) Nationalize all industries.
2) Dissolve Parliament, and
3) Declare himself King of Drepner.
Following these actions, people have taken to the streets cheering and welcoming the new regime.
It is unclear as to what will happen next; how other nations will react, whether this new regime will last, whether its programs will be met with success. We shall have to wait and see.
End Broadcast.
