Neo-Ixanian pass in hand, Deputy Foreign Minister Ericka Tregre and her new aide Lauren Reese ( http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p281/matt518672/aishwairirai.jpg ) got out of the car provided by Ericka's Neo-Ixanian lover, and the two approached the gates of the Imperial Isan embassy. When they were challenged by the guards, Ericka presented her pass.

When the guards were satisfied that the pass was genuine, the two were seated in one of those little out of the way rooms that every government office seemed to have, and they waited.

I would like to start this meeting simply; if you don't mind. Lamoni is in desperate need of a high quality front line fighter or fighter-bomber, as our old F-16C aircraft are aging, and are not proving to be able to fulfill their assigned roles. Would it be possible to start an "Ore for Fighters" deal in order to address this crucial shortcoming in the Lamonian military arsenal?"

Deciding not to comment about the soldier's lack of knowledge as regarded warplanes, Ericka requested water, and her aide asked for the same.

So far, Ericka was glad that she hadn't seen that Captain yet... this was supposed to be his stomping grounds. Though, he always COULD be watching her through a closed circuit camera system or something, she supposed.

When Ben left the room, Ericka's aide pulled out what looked like a pen from her purse. Twisting a certain part of the pen activated the small white noise jammer inside. It would only last for 10 minutes at most, but many things could be said in ten minutes.

The two looked at the list of planes faced, and they thought that there was no real comparison to the possible threats faced by the LAF. Still, they thought that the aircraft in question would fulfill the LAF's needs quite nicely. The aircraft was stealthy, it carried a good punch, it could maneuver well, and it had a good maximum range.

With the contract signed, Ericka asked Ben for the location of the restroom. Lauren however, opted to stay with Ben.

After some weeks had passed from the visit to the embassy, Lauren received a letter from Ben. She hadn't expected him to write her after what had happened in the embassy, but there the letter was all the same.

After some weeks had passed from the visit to the embassy, Lauren received a letter from Ben. She hadn't expected him to write her after what had happened in the embassy, but there the letter was all the same.

Somewhere deep in the bowels of the Lamonian Foreign Ministry, a functionary received a phone call from the Isan embassy.

The fact that a call from an embassy was routed to the Foreign Ministry's communications center was not abnormal, but the subject matter of said call was.

The caller said that they wanted a formal pass for one of their men to carry weapons around on Lamonian territory. This occasioned a quick call to the Foreign Minister, who decided that the pass would be granted, but that the functionary should keep her informed of anything that resulted from it.

Thus, the pass was electronically transmitted to the caller, and another day for the functionary came to a close.

With Ben watching, Lauren first inspected the rifle that she was to shoot, then made sure to check on the various functioning parts of the weapon. Finally satisfied with the weapon, she loaded it, flipped off the safety, and fired it at the target. While it wasn't the rifle that she was used to firing, she still manged to fire a respectable burst.

Lauren knew that Ben had to still be reliving events at the front; and dazzled him with one of his best smiles in order to help remind him that today was supposed to be fun.

"Come Ben, i'll give you an aerial tour of Lamoni. I'm even cleared to land at military bases, if would care to see one. I arranged a special clearance for you from the President. But I think that you would enjoy being up in the sky first."

Lauren led the way to where her plane was hangared (there were advantages to being part of the government, after all), and inspected it to make sure that all was in readiness. She was pleased to find that it was, and that the aircraft was fully fueled. With everything ready, she unlocked the passenger side door so that Ben could get in; and then went over to the pilots side and let herself in. The hangar doors were being opened by two of the airport employees, so once she started the plane, they could taxi out, take their instructions from the tower, and take off.

Finally, Lauren looked over at Ben to see how he was doing with the four point seatbelt system.

Lauren turned back toward her instruments, and guided the plane past the open hangar doors out to the runway.

"Tower, this GVT0089; requesting clearance for take off on runway 001R." Lauren had done the takeoff procedure so many times that she could do it in her sleep.

"GVT0089, this is Tower, your are cleared for takeoff on runway 001R. Go to 20,000 feet at takeoff."

The aircraft responded to the manipulation of it's controls by the pilot, and soon they were roaring down the runway. When the speed was fast enough to generate lift, they left the ground and Lauren climbed to 20,000 feet. The governmental flight plan that Lauren had filed granted her the ability to fly wherever she wished to in Lamonian air space that did not conflict with the flight plans of other aircraft. On the port side, there was an excellent aerial view of the Moronihah River Valley, in which the Lamonian capitol city of Nephi was located. On the starboard side, you could see both Government AFB, as well as Skyhaven International Airport. They had come from the old Nephi International Airport, which had been converted to house pleasure flyers, and renamed the Nephi Flying Range. Lauren set the aircraft's course towards the Army base near Kazatlan, and they left Nephi behind.

only thing Ben did when Lauren and he landed was go up to her ,put his arms around her and give her a very long kiss on her lips before letting her go

Charles Leventhorp had been sent to the Free Republic to make sure that the Lamonians would have the shipments of weapons and vehicles ready for sending to his beloved homeland. He had heard of the Queen of Anglia's marriage to a Lamonian commoner and he did not really care for it since he had always known that men and women alike cannot, at times, resist the alluring charms of love. He did not really concern himself with the event too much as he got out of the plane in a suit which he just bought for the trip to Lamoni with some papers to show that he represented the Anglian military so that the Lamonians would not get suspicious or anything. He walked through the crowds of tourists while smiling at some people who happened to notice him including a little girl with a teddy bear. When he got past the crowds, he found a taxi and hailed it. In the taxi which he had ordered to take him to the hangars, Charles thought about the meeting that he'd be taking part in soon and what he would say to whoever he had the time to meet. Words of all sorts fluttered around in his mind but he was able to pick the best words out for the speeches he may have to do. He decided to stop the taxi after a while as he noticed the silhouette of the hangar and decided it would not be too much trouble to walk the rest of the way. Charles paid the driver before walking towards the hangar; eventually getting through the guards after they examined his papers so they would know who he was. Once that brief event was over with, Charles walked into one of the hangars with a smile on his face to see Lamonians working on new planes. He noticed a young Lamonian woman of East Indian skin color and smiled at her after briefly looking her up and down; thinking she was quite appealing to him. Charles usually did look at certain women and studied them but only a few made him think of them for a prolonged time and this girl here was one of those few. Eventually he found one of the officers and said calmly:
