The Crusader Infantry Fighting Vehicle can bring heavy firepower where the soldiers on the ground need it with out the need to bring tanks into an urban enviroment.

Armarment:
The Crusader is armed with a short barrelled, high angle 90mm cannon. This gives it the capibility to provide heavy fire support to men it carries. It carries primarily high-explosive ammunition with 1 in every 6 rounds being APFSDS rounds providing the Crusader with limited anti-armor capability. Although not powerful enough to destroy a main battle tank, it can still destroy enenmy ACPs and IFVs with a lucky hit.

OOC: I have easily a half dozen rifle designs that may be what you're looking for. Some are rather unconventional. I've got things in new calibres, things in standard 7.62x39 and 5.45x39, bullpup and standard configurations, some with art and most without. These all have huge writeups - I could clutter your thread or I could ask as I am now, what is it you'd prefer in a rifle?

I've got designs that are conventionally laid out but have longer barrels with equivalent or shorter overall lengths than other rifles (unconventional action type at work there) and I've got a rifle (complicated action at work there) which has no recoil. Then there's a variety of balanced automatics and so on. Do you want a custom calibre? Someone else's calibre? Etc.

BTR-90 is still a fine APC. For most heavy ordnance needs, check out Aequatian Military Industries (http://www.forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=530096), IMW-LDS (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=391319), and there's the HTC (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=529784) for various small arms needs.

Volzgradien rifles tend to have longer barrels and larger ammunition sizes than most (9mm ammo for example). Our submachine guns tend to be small, fast firing, and usually have a 50 round drum clip. Light machine guns tend to be fairly fast firing with a large ammunition size and drum clip.

OOC: Tell me calibre, configuration (Bullpup/Conventional/Toploading), any special requirements (Rifle grenade capability, requires numerous attachment rails, et cetera) and I'll see what I have that may suit your needs. If not I can custom design something easily - I enjoy small arms design. I can do the same for a submachinegun or handgun if you give me similar specifications.

At the moment I have, off the top of my head, the SKP/BVP, VSV-01, ERP-07, KGR-01V, MBRS, and so on. MBRS is in my own 9.3x39mm, a derivative of 9.3x64mm, and a top-loader like the FN P90 SMG. KGR-01V has a specialized action that allows for a longer barrel in a conventionally laid out rifle without an associated length handicap, SKP and BVP are bullpups with a hypercyclic burst feature like the AN-94 without its associated complexity, and VSV-01 is a pretty conventional assault rifle. I've got a machinepistol, a handgun, and a submachinegun that are available for export, in addition to a combat shotgun. The ERP-07 family are forward-ejecting bullpup assault rifle, carbine, and PDW, and include the T-04 type underbarrel grenade launcher.

Yeah, I am looking for something to occupy my time with, hence all the questions as to what you want.

By the looks of it, the ERP-07 seems the best choice for my nation. I've always liked higher caliber weapons with a bullpup design. Simply state the specifications and I'll see if I will buy it. Also, a major selling feature for the ERP-07 is the underslung grenade launcher. I would prefer if it is on the short side of rifle design because urban combat is my soldiers "specialty." Also, I'm surprised to see how indepth some of your weapons are in their descriptions. I've only ever done a small summary and the specs for my range of weapons.

P.S. My country actually does have its own NS weapons, I'm simply stating the closest RL comparison to them.
Hurtful Thoughts
01-04-2008, 22:18
Mind if I suggest replacing all small arms besides pistol and 72 mm LAW with the Hurtian "Light Assault Weapon" (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10892498&postcount=17) Series?

Chambering may be modified to user's prefferance, so long as bolt travel doesn't exceed 80 mm.
Long barrels are available.

You can call it whatever you want, but we'll call it whatever we'll call it...
--------
That or we can ship you surplus HAP series carbines... they're a bit more finicky, but @ $25 a gun, it'd be hard to find a better deal...

Then there's the heavy and obsolete CM-26/38 series of SAW/GPMGs...

AK-74 was 5.45x39 mm, MP-5 could never accept a drum.

May want to add your factbook link (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=551356) to your sig for future refferance. Before it gets buried.

No clue how the CFD-99 = Rem-700...
Or why you have 3 standard rifle calibers (7.62NATO, 8 mm MAG, and 9 mm), 2 heavy calibers (9+12.7 mm), and one pistol caliber (5 mm 'peashooter')

- Fig.2, T-04 UBGL (http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j8/PavelKirilovich/NationStates/T-04UBGL.jpg)
- Fig.3, ERP07 "PDW" (http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j8/PavelKirilovich/NationStates/PDW.jpg)

If you want something that isn't in 5.45x39/7.62x39/6.5x40mm the SKP/BVP comes in 9x39mm, and the KGR-01V was developed for 9.3x64mm. SKP and BVP (Carbine & Rifle) are bullpup, KGR is conventionally laid out.

I have a complete writeup for all weapons if you're interested further.
