"Hello, citizens, you're watching Magdha News Network, the number one name in government-approved news. Today our beloved Papa, His Most Exalted and Enlightened Excellency Dr. Generalissimo J.L., President for Life of the Revolutionary People‘s State of Magdha, Marshal of the Armed Forces, Father of the Nation, Guide of the Magdhan Revolution, Harvester of Joy, Reaper of Prosperity, Indomitable Spirit, Invincible Warrior, Pillar of Knowledge, All-Seeing Prophet, Blessing of the People, Defender of all Faiths, Paragon of Virtue, Champion of Justice, Leader of the Crusade against Communism and its Accomplices, and Vanquisher of Evil, has been formally promoted to the rank of field marshal. Papa describes this as "Without a doubt, the proudest moment of my life."

In a four hour speech delivered to an assembly of over 100,000 soldiers, Papa tearfully praised God for making his 'number one dream' come true. "Since I was a boy, I have had no greater yearning, no more fervid aspiration, than to attain the coveted rank of marshal. Now, after years of hard work, selfless sacrifice to my country and people, and iron determination, I have at least achieved it. To my children, to our loyal and honorable armed forces, to our beautiful Fatherland, I say, thank you. Never have I been more grateful to the Almighty than I am today."

Parades and celebrations are reported to have taken place throughout the nation to celebrate this joyous occasion, and polls show that 100% of Magdhans are strongly supportive of Papa's promotion. Some are even calling for a referendum to decide whether this should be made a national holiday. It is times like these when we can only smile, beam with pride, and reflect on how lucky, how truly blessed, we are to have such a wonderful, loving Papa.
