Antwep-In light of recent legislation regarding Women in the country, the new law has officially disbanded and banned the Feminist Party from Alborio, stating the party draws women away from God, encourages the murder of the unborn, and defies the traditional family. President Janus Peeters signed the bill into law fully supporting the Statements made by the Senators in Parliament. "We are a designated to remain close to the almighty, and that we shall. Women have their role, men have theirs." Though Peeters did veto the proposal of imprisonment or exile of all feminists, but gave no reason.

"I'm very disappointed and angry." Said former party leader Aledia Guillem. "Why must our nation continue with these Medieval ideals? There's no justice for women in this country I swear it!"

On the flipside, some women ARE happy about this.

"We must do as we are commanded by The Lord." Said resident farmer Amalia Klaw. "We shouldn't incure his wrath. He has always shown blessings of bountiful harvest for our obedience."

Open Declaration of the Dictorial Republic of Sumer

This act has earned the official condemnation of the Dictorial Republic of Sumer and the Sumerian People as a whole, towards the nation of Alborio. Not only has Alborio proven itself to be a backwards and corrupt theocracy who opposesses its most important citizens, but it disguises this corruption as if the oppressed accecpt it.

I would personally like to extend to branch of freedom to the women of Alborio, those who wish to escape their oppression are welecome freely in Sumer.

The disbanding of an entire political party simply because what they say does not conform to a specific religion is a sad thing; for it speaks of a closed society where no dissent is tolerated. For a nation with all of the forms of Democracy, such a move speaks of a massive backslide in Alborio's faith in the democratic process; where all points of view are supposed to be heard and considered. As such, we officially condemn the recent action by Alborio, and encourage all Feminist Party members that desire it to emigrate to the Free Republic.

While it is not within my realm to have to teach you on your errors of language, I feel I shall, as a woman, to prove a point. Perhaps, some day, your nation will grow out of its hole of backwardsness and come to understand equality and freedom. Perhaps on that very same day they will come to understand that what ones believes a word to mean may not in fact be its meaning. Untill that day, which I fear may never come less you anger some nation to the point of invasion, I doubt your people will ever be free, I doubt your population will be as effective or effecient as a free nation, and I doubt you will ever learn the difference between a tyrant or despot, and a benevolent figure, let alone the understanding of what dictator actually means.

As such I will reiterate, that Sumer will welecome all refugees fleeing your oppressive tyranny, especially the women. Our air force will be happy to enforce such a move, as will they be to provide free and safe transit for all who wish to flee your nation. As you have implied, they may leave, it is not on us when your population declines from your own, most important citizens, leave your nation due your filth.

While Kurona does not agree with the actions of the Alborion Government we do understand it is their sovereign right to chose so.

Sec. of State Bowen Condemns Alborio's Ban,
"Against... Free Thought", No Action Taken

SACRAMENTO- California

Debra Bowen, Californian Secretary of State, condemned Alborio's ban of the Feminist Party, stating that, "It is against the principles of free thought that all functioning democracies are supposed to abide by." However, there were no direct actions taken by the Californian government, citing that economic sanctions would be "hasty" to do so at "this time". Also, Bowen urged foreign nations to take a, "diplomatic solution and not resort to war or petty name calling", pointing to the Tocrowkian Reich's message calling the Alborian government "... racially inferior." The Alborian and Tocrowkian embassies were uunavailable for comment at the time of publication.

I believe congratulations are in order for you and the good Senators in Parliament. Nothing is so much a danger to family values and a strong, morally sound society as rampant feminism. We are willing to provide diplomatic leverage against all who condemn this action made with public decency and morality in mind.

Breeders and Women supports the abolition of abortion, as the repeated homicide of the purely innocent is nothing short of an abomination, and we also oppose gay marriage. However, while we respect your sovereignty, we ask that you grant a little more leeway to women in your natiion- without them, there would be no men.

To: the Alborian Government and the international community at large

We wish to echo Magdha and Breeders and Women's statements: What Alborio has done is of no consequence to yourselves, and does not merit threats. Change for freedom must come from within, not forced on from outside. However, at the same time, with no threats of military action, economic sanction, etc of any kind, we request that the Alborian President and Parliament take some time to reconsider their decision to ban the Feminist Party; surely such a harsh measure is not necessary.

As de jure ruler of the Republic, I would like to make clear our stance on the actions of the nation of Alborio.

The integration of any form of religion-based belief, especially one that in effect places one gender above the other, is a terrible shame in any case, and Golden Rebirth hereby strongly condemns these actions on this basis.

(We are not in any position to condemn the quashing of democracy, as it has been decided in our nation that democracy leads to corruption and instability)

However, unlike our ancestors, we feel that the sovereignty of any nation must be observed unless an atrocity of epic proportions has occurred, and thus no further official action will be taken.
