I have decided to create a second bug war. This time instead of dealing with the old bugs which were annihilated completely with chemical weapons we are dealing with the zerg. Thats right, the zerg. Basically the time is around the time SC2 occurs so four years after Brood Wars. The second bug war initiates after the South Lizasauria donates tons of troops to aid the Toori, since the Toori helped the South Lizasaurians during the Second Grecian war and helped liberate and rebuild the empire and saved the South Lizasaurian ultimately from extinction and oppression the present day government felt that they should repay their debt to the Toori, after all, they wouldn't be where they are if it weren't for the Toori. On top of that the nation's population is getting a little crowded so the South Lizasaurian government decided to limit the population by sended tons of people to fight the zerg swarms while at the same time repaying their debt to the Toori.

In this RP, you can also roleplay SC empires like the Dominion or the UED, I still need someone to play those roles.

I don't have a FT nation either. I'm not really imagnitive enough to have a FT. I use enough of my imagination on my MT nation.

you really need to drag your self into FT only to have a big enough imagination for it because of how endless it i, I mean i've constantly been developing tech since day 1 on NS, now i feel its at its peak for me

Seconded. We should first establish what is possible in this RP and what isn't based on our StarCraft knowledge.

we could have a mass war with multiple alien and bug like aggressive creatures becoming allies on a united from over multiple worlds, would allow us to each say pick a world and go with our own style, or help others out and go planet by planet depending on the amount of forces we have

interesting idea, me personally my population is mainly genetically engineered humans, Cylons and the non genetically engineered, but there is a alien species on one planet allied with me, but there only stay on that planet and defend it

ya i had the factbook up, ill bump it if you want, it's a remake and still in some progress.

There have been a long time I don't get into a FT RP.

I'm interested in a Starship Troopers esque thing proposed, but not like the cannon fodder of the movie, but like in the book, with power armor and all. I could either go as Confed/Solar Communes, but the only FTL they have is The Warp, not a problem I believe considering that Starcraft shares much in common with WH40k stuff and that would be basically the only WH thing I would resort to.

Otherwise, if for some reason the presence of Confed/Solar Communes would disrupt the style of the RP, then if applicable, I could go with the severely crippled Terran Dominion after the Brood War.

So, what limits? I think that no military tech that outpaces the Protoss would be in order and would be fair.

Well, do you mean people who could outright defeat them, or those who could fight them evenly. As my people, I'd say, would be on the level with the Protoss. It'd be a helluva war, but we could fight them. If you don't want that, then I will not be able to participate.

Can I presume Solar Communes was accepted? They have experience with swarm-like aliens, that's all I have to say now without spoiling a story I have yet to write.

You can certainbly fight them on even terms. Any race could do that: The Protoss are not unstoppable and are few in number. All that I'm saying is that tech wise no one should be better than the Protoss.
