Can I join, and send peace-keeping troops?

Voldsgrad: Your a communist nation, aren't you? Why side with the protesters against your brother nation?

Actually, I RPed a revolution where the communist regime was toppled by a hard right wing rebel group.

I wonder how well, my embassy will weather the storm. Sadly I'll be offline for 2 weeks. But feel free to use it in the rp if you like SA.

How Communist is your nation, exactly? Are we talking a true communist society, a state-capitalist model like the USSR, or a totalitarian mixed-market economy like China?

@Anselmus: You RPed your planes getting into Aissuran airspace, and leaving. When was anyone allowed to paint them with radar?

@Soviet: I still need a reply to my IC post

Aissuir: I'd keep this RP to EA nations at the moment, because every Tom, Dick and Harry without any IC reason will want to deploy 'peacekeepers' et cetera. Also, I intend to post something on the side of the protesters eventually but participation may suck on my part.

[EDIT: Volzgrad: Don't you have a civil war erupting back in your nation? Would they really be that concerned with toppling the Aissurian government given the domestic situation?]

I have closed the thread to all except EA nations.

Woops, I don't even remember it. Better read it.

I have to say I'm a bit curious as to how Stoklomolvi plans to get two million soldiers into Aissuria in less than a month or so.

Well we do share a border. There is also NOP bases he can land at. Also Water access.

Its more of a logistical issue than a "how did he get them there" issue. Supporting two million troops anywhere, would take about 6-8 million other personel, tens of thousands of vehicles, hundreds of thousands of tonnes of food, fuel, and other vital supplies a month. If it becomes an active combat zone , it'll be a clusterfuck. With that many, friendly fire incidents will skyrocket, effectiveness will sink like the Titanic, and it will make a very nice target for carpet bombing.

That may be but to deliver two million troops in what I assume to be about a week's time would require nearly all of Aissur's transportation to be used. Every road, rail and sky would have to be used for such logistical operation. That's not commercially viable to any business, and citizens probably wouldn't go for it either.

You guys are just hoping the Rebels will win.

Which they will.

I have over 150 million of them, and as they say, you can bury any problem if you have enough bodies. They aren't actual infantry, they're my police force, which forms up a huge portion of my workforce.

I didn't ask how many you had, I asked how you purportedly got 2 million of them there, since that's not RPed. It seems to me that that would be a huge logistical challenge. Heck, when I tried to invade you and Yanitaria I could barely manage to get 300,000 infantry over with RL tech.

Care to enlighten me?

You were so far away that you weren't even on the map. Soviet Aissur is directly south of me, except for a small mountain which we have mapped over and over again with roads. Too difficult?

I don't think it is any more far fetched then supporting a population of 3 billion.

That's not that big. There are 10+ Billion.

His point is that huge nations, such as yourself, probably can't be supported by the land you sit on, such as the Denmark area. It's worse than supporting 2 million people, most of which are in logistics and stuff.

Colonies. There's maybe a billion living in my EA territory. I'm like Britian in 1900. The other 3.75 Billion are scattered around the world.

OOC: Hah, whatever, dude.

And Stok, Aissur made it clear that he wants the rebels to win and the commie government to get overthrown. How do you plan to let the RP play out the way he wants it to if you force 2 million people on the situation?

3 billion people is a little less then half the worlds current population... One country with that many people, sounds like a headache to me.

Anselmus, worry about your ghost planes, which can enter a country, drop soldiers, with out being detected by radar until they are leaving, and let Stok worry about his policemen.

Binaria: Yeah, 2 million does seem like a lot, but even 1 billion people your nations mainland is a lot, especially considering the terrain. I suppose that with NS one must fudge scales a bit. But 2 million isn't impossible, especially given the scale of NS.
